The U.S. media has crossed the Rubicon into a world of abject nuttery. It’s one thing to predict it happening, it is quite another to bear witness.
There are literally a hundred current stories/issues which, under normal non-corrupt circumstances, would be top headlines. Instead the media hides the most jaw-dropping governmental corruption revelations, and choose to focus on the ridiculous.
On one hand, looking at the geography, there’s a sense that eventually they are going to have to cover stories like WikiLeaks, Project Veritas investigative series, or the now openly transparent corrupt leadership influence of the FBI.
However, on the other hand is an acceptance the corporate media (writ large) really don’t have anything to lose by ignoring all of it.
Indeed, if the media lose this election – all their influence and affluence will vaporize…. so they’re really in a situation where there’s no risk from continuing the current objective.
That said, their predictable behavior is still a remarkable thing to see. They have become a parody of themselves, albeit by their own corporate doing.
CTH readers are in a unique position having spent the past two years predicting this inevitable conclusion. However, even though we knew these moments were going to play out, it’s still remarkable to look around and notice the severity of it.
We would be remiss if we didn’t draw attention to one of the brutally obvious WikiLeak releases which highlight just how far the corporate media agenda has been exposed.
Last night we noted two of the WikiLeak emails (Here and Here) directly aligned with Newsmax and the founder/owner of the organization, Chris Ruddy. Rather than re-write the entire expose’, 100PercentFedUp has a good outline.
Like the Fox News/Wall Street Journal [Murdoch] expose’ from last year, the Newsmax issue surrounds immigration reform and the hidden agenda of Mr. Ruddy to support the Gang of Eight Amnesty Bill.
John Podesta and Chris Ruddy were exchanging emails while discussing the failed 2014 House of Representatives support for the Senate Go8 bill.
What you find within the entire set of emails and the accompanying storyline is that NewsMax was supporting immigration/amnesty while putting on a “conservative” ruse. The “Denis” in the email is Denis McDonough, President Obama’s Chief of Staff, aka ‘the White House fixer’.
We fully exposed the construct of the back story when it happened, and immediately thereafter –SEE HERE-. Denis McDonough was the liaison between the White House and GOP Leadership including John Boehner (Speaker), Eric Cantor (Majority Leader), Kevin McCarthy (Whip), and Paul Ryan (immigration reform supporter).
After Cantor lost his primary election bid to Dave Brat, the immigration scheme collapsed – it was only three days from a vote. The WikiLeaks emails surround this June/July 2014 time frame where the “conservative” immigration reform supporters amid the Wall Street controlled media world were annoyed and consoling each other.
As such, in hindsight Newsmax can be added to the growing list of faux-conservative media who were collaborating behind the scenes to pull an immigration ruse on their audiences.
Other media outlets previously exposed were: Fox News/WSJ (Murdoch), Rush Limbaugh (Clear Channel/Bain Capital – Romney), Salem Media Communications (Hot Air, Twitchy, Human Events, Red State, The Weekly Standard, Hugh Hewitt, et al). All of these “conservative media” entities –and all of the pundits/authors therein– were factually part of the corporate media goal to pass the Gang of Eight bill.
It is not accidental that almost all of the “Never Trumpers” came directly from inside this consortium of “conservative” media enterprises. It was all a total ruse. Within the latest WikiLeak revelations Newsmax is merely exposed as being part of that larger corporate Wall Street group and agenda….
When Donald Trump announced: The Wall, and strict immigration enforcement, he triggered the jaw-agape responses from all of those aforementioned voices. Trump’s push-back against the hidden agenda, which also contained millions of dollars in expenditures/investments, was the initial impetus behind the never Trump movement.
Quite a ride, huh?

I really think Hewitt’s plan as part of the gop-e is to pretend to be a friend of Trump’s while in reality attempting to torpedo him, a Trojan Horse maneuver for lack of a better term.

I was thinking what nervous wrecks everyone in the Clnton camp must be. Aides pouring over past emails, trying desperately to remember what they’ve written, praying their year- old diss of Chelsea or question about the wisdom of some aspect of Hillary’s policies doesn’t show up in the next dump. It makes me very happy.

Didn’t like Daily Mail’s assertion that Trump had committed indiscretions/assaults and used Bill’s victims to cover up. Fact is – ALL allegations against Trump have been debunked.
Daily Mail did not mention Kathy Shelton being victimized by Hillary.

Long ago, I considered a career in journalism, and was told I had a talent for it. One of the big factors in deciding against it was the impression that most of the other budding scribes I knew looked on the job as one of progressive ( although at the time, we called it liberal) advocacy, and not just on the editorial page. Besides, it didn’t pay much, and then a Marine recruiter got his hooks in me, but that’s another story.
So, now I get to see the results of having a generation or two of reporters who are mostly leftist, wannabe social justice warriors masquerading as impartial, truth telling watchdogs of the press doing their job to protecting our republic, all while earning a paycheck that makes it pretty hard to say no to an admired “source” offering favors.
I don’t know if it can be fixed. Sure, you can shame the current bunch, perhaps lock up a few of those who’ve crossed the legal line, but leftist academia is going to keep cranking out new crops of social justice warriors pretending to be reporters.

You were smart not to go into the Big J. I started out there, had dreams of Pulitzers and writing stories on difficult topics to help working class people like my family (in the middle of deindustrialization and race riots) and so on.
Then I worked for a year at the local newspaper chain that was covered at the end of the documentary “Manufacturing Consent,” and worked in news radio in a few bigger places.
What an education!!! I learned how, even then in the 1970s and 1980s, reporters were subservient egotistical hacks in a revolving door relationship with institutions of power, and who sneered at their own readers and advertisers.
I mean, I knew newspapermen were cynical, hell, I’m cynical. But some cynics, like Sam Clemens and Henry Louis Mencken, had something to say with their cynicism, and had a deeper sense of value and morality.
So I left journalism as a practice to study communications policy at one of the most highly regarded departments in the US and world.
Guess what? It was more social engineering, bolshie ideology, elitist self interest, revolving doors, and an even more heightened contempt for The Common Man. Potential employers were appalling.
I had decided against a career as an academic but figured I could contribute as a policy wonk. But employers kept chasing me (my department took very few candidates each year at the graduate level–about 30).
They didn’t even blush at asking me to do seriously immoral things, like design communications campaigns to manipulate working Americans to hand over their life savings to coke-head junk bond peddlers at big financial institutions. Or whip up votes for pork barrel policies. Or manipulate the electorate into banging bibles (or burning them) to take sides with the two wings of the UniParty.
The networks that courted me for their research divisions were just as bad or even worse. Their cynicism whiffed of evil: they were out to manipulate the masses by any means necessary. Maybe a better term is “sociopathic.”
So I left it all and ended up working with organic farmers instead. It was pretty good. Some were woo-types, but many were just hard working honest men and women with a deep love of the land, the Constitution, and the US.
From there I started a business and spent most of my energy developing and supporting citizen communication networks on the internet.
I know first hand and from experience that our media establishment is corrupt and truly Pravda for what used to be a free republic. My contempt for them knows no bounds. What I think happened is that the news media invented a myth about themselves in the age of Edward R Murrow and most people still believe it.

today was amazing in a George Orwell way – the document, emails and video hitting the internet yet nothing on cable news, yet complete blackout on cable news. My parents had cable news on all day, yet beyond a small ticker tape mention of the fire bomb in NC they had zero knowledge of everything else. Thank God for the internet.

Thanks Sundance – you always tie it all together nicely – easy to understand for me being that I still struggle with some of the correlations in American politics combined with my english language struggle. But I’m learning and daily it is making progress!
The behavior of the complete US Pravda disgusts me beyond anything I have ever felt. Then again – looking at each individual in that herd – it is obvious why they find it so easy to deceive – they are a mirror image of those they protect, lie, deceive and admire. So it is no surprise!
Having said that – it is now clear – after having also viewed the ‘Brussels video about the election’ – that we, the citizens are up against the most powerful world oligarchy and their foot soldiers. It is us – the people – against the satanic system and fight of our lives never before faced. That too is not surprising. Those – who view The Bible – as the Manual for Life written as Thoughts by Our Creator, God in Heaven – understand that that must occur and is described in vivid details. Many treepers – including Sundance – made various references in The Book of Ezekiel among a host of others which deals with much related to current times.
I often meditate on 2 Timothy 3:1-7 – to understand not only the complexity of the deceit foisted on us but also the behavior of those involved who are attempting to force on us their demands.
I confidently say that Donald Trump is the man especially selected for this era in time – it was he that exposed the true complete US political apparatus, their media in print, TV, blogs, the donors – their agenda. He was never a polished political man or speaker – he is the people speaker who spoke and continues to speak for us – in our words. He understands us, hears us, cares about us despite his wealth status. He is the right man for the right times – he is up against the whole worlds satanic system set up in governments everywhere. He is – on behalf of us – fighting the good fight and if nothing else – if it wasn’t for him, the majority of citizens would either remain silent, cowed, afraid and disengaged. He deserves all our support in return – as Sundance deserves our support because without Sundance – many of us would not have known and/or understood the GOPe deceit in its entirety.
God writes this current script – it is not an easy one to follow but it is a must for all of us despite the total onslaught involving this totally dishonest, unworthy media empire. It is also important to understand that to stop Assange – the Ecuadorian embassy is under major pressure from Obama/Hillary et al to eject him from their protection to stop these leaks. Assange has activated the his emergency switch after his internet access was cut. They also may cut ours and my question is for Sundance and treepers: Can you give some assistance or tips in case we face a black-out before election?

We had been suspicious of Newsmax for a long time after hearing they were Clinton Foundation donors. Their split from Dennis Michael Lynch showed us more reason to suspect.
Please note, also, that these #NeverTrumpers are almost exactly the same people who have been pushing a ConCon through the Convention of States. I have written and researched a lot on it. Do not trust it at all.
