(NBC Via WeaselZippers) South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, R, offered his help with the GOP House of Representatives on a stalled Ukraine assistance bill in a hot-mic moment with Secretary of State John Kerry on Thursday.

After Kerry finished an appearance before the Senate Appropriations Committee, microphones caught Graham telling Kerry: “Hey John, good job! Let me know what I can do to help you with [GOP House Speaker John] Boehner.”
The House passed Ukraine assistance legislation earlier this week, but Senate leaders rejected it on Wednesday, making for a familiar bit of congressional gridlock. (more…)

The issue at hand is essentially the CIA covertly monitoring the Senate Intelligence Committee as the Senate investigated the CIA. The problem stems from an obvious oversight issue where the CIA takes illegal action to monitor the Senate as they investigate.
However, there’s something more within the behavior of the people involved. Dianne Feinstein is clearly outlining the CIA is violating the law. As a consequence the CIA claim to be following instructions from the Obama administration and the White House. That alone represents a big issue – However, the way CIA Director John Brennan is responding to the charges against his office are, well, somewhat troubling.

Brennan is acting, and speaking, as if he is untouchable. It’s almost like he has a card up his sleeve; an unspoken leverage. And when you think about how Brennan got to his CIA post, and his relationship with President Obama, alarm bells begin to ring.
Please forgive me for connecting the dots but I’m not going in this rabbit hole alone 😉
Remember, it was Brennan’s security firm who broke into the State Department passport files of Candidate Obama in 2008. Watching him now respond to Feinstein one would take away he indeed holds a lever that allows him to feel “untouchable“.
WASHINGTON DC – The head of the Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday sharply accused the CIA of violating federal law and undermining the constitutional principle of congressional oversight as she detailed publicly for the first time how the agency secretly removed documents from computers used by her panel to investigate a controversial interrogation program.
Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) said that the situation amounted to attempted intimidation of congressional investigators, adding: “I am not taking it lightly.”
She confirmed that an internal agency investigation of the action has been referred to the Justice Department for possible criminal prosecution. And she said that the CIA appears to have violated the Fourth Amendment, which bars unreasonable searches and seizures, as well as various federal laws and a presidential executive order that prevents the agency from conducting domestic searches and surveillance. Democrats sunk millions into TV commercials and GOTV efforts for a very well known candidate, Alex Sink.
The DNC was relying on this win to showcase a possible path forward through the minefield that lay ahead in 2014. Mrs. Sink was a former candidate for Governor, and still lost in her home congressional district….. Now the spin begins.
WASHINGTON DC – Republican David Jolly won the special election to fill the House seat left vacant by the death of his former boss, Rep. C.W. Bill Young (R-Fla.).
With nearly all of the votes counted Tuesday night, Jolly had 48.5 percent of the vote to Alex Sink’s 46.7 percent. Libertarian Lucas Overby had 4.8 percent.
The GOP underperformed tonight in the #FL13 – a district they've held for decades. Here's why: http://t.co/1Yb516372f

Sink lost the 2010 governor’s race to Rick Scott. The Democratic Party sunk extensive ad funding into the congressional battle, and DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) tried to paint the loss as a positive. (more…)
(Via Orlando Sentinel – “Rene”) The parents of George Zimmerman have sued comedienne Roseanne Barr, saying they fled their Lake Mary home in the middle of the night and have been unable to return because she posted their address on Twitter two years ago.
Robert Zimmerman Sr. and Gladys Zimmerman filed suit Monday in state circuit court, accusing Barr of trying to incite “a lynch mob to descend” and carry out “vigilante justice.”
According to the suit, Barr published their address on Twitter March 29, 2012, a month after their son George Zimmerman killed Trayvon Martin, an unarmed black teenager in Sanford, but before he was arrested. (more…)
A serendipitous article appears today amid the CNN media empire. Within the article you find the ideology, the motive, which led Miami-Dade School Police to hide the criminal behavior of Trayvon Martin.
The Author is a Temple University (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) Professor, Laurence Steinberg
(CNN – Excerpt) […] Intervening to help young black males develop better social-cognitive skills is important, but if the President’s initiative is to be successful, transformations are needed in our social institutions as well.
One of the most significant contributors to the difficulties that many black teenagers have is that those who have been convicted of crimes typically penetrate more deeply into the justice system than offenders from other ethnic groups.
Black teenagers are not just more likely to be arrested, they also are more likely to be locked up, even when convicted of the same crimes as others. Racial disparities are especially pronounced when it comes to punishment for relatively minor offenses, such as drug possession. (more…)
We knew last year the diversionary activity around the Miami-Dade School Police Department, which was coordinated, sanctioned and authorized by Miami-Dade School Superintendent, Alberto Carvalho, was illegal.
Consequently we knew a public airing of the illegal activity was a risk to all parties involved.

Now, however – the entire School Board might be legally responsible for engaging in unlawful conspiracy which resulted from the internal investigation within the M-DSPD and the School Boards’ “willful blindness” to the actual finding(s).
It doesn’t take a law degree to understand that when you intentionally construct a policy, or group of policies, which specifically hide illegal behavior you are on the wrong side of the law – even when it is the top law enforcement officer giving the instructions to do it. (more…)

They, well… that would be Obama bundler and Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, even built a website for it. Seriously, I’m not kidding. Ban the word “bossy”. D’oh.
(Via ABC News) Can banning one school-yard word really change the world? Sheryl Sandberg says yes.

I pledge to #banbossy – let's raise our girls to value leadership skills and assertiveness! http://t.co/Wyy7XOOPKy
