White House Communications Director Kate Bedingfield said it is “tragic” that Florida passed a law prohibiting young kids from being taught sex and gender theory, during the White House press briefing today. WATCH:
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis spoke about the ridiculous backlash from the far-left woke Democrats and their corporate media sycophants earlier today.
Some students from Middleton High School in Florida were in attendance for Gov. Ron DeSantis’ announcement of a cybersecurity training initiative at the University of South Florida.
As the Florida governor approached the podium, he said: “You do not have to wear those masks. I mean, please take those off. Honestly, it’s not doing anything. We gotta stop with this covid theater. If you want to wear it fine, but this is ridiculous.”
The media immediately went bananas at the audacity of the governor for giving students the option to remove their masks.
The media is apoplectic (see below for headlines). Newsweek said DeSantis “scolded” them. Business Insider said Desantis “snapped” at them. Yahoo News says DeSantis “bullied” them. CNN said that DeSantis “yelled” at them.
Keep an eye on this story folks; there’s something else here.
The FDA decision to block COVID-19 treatment options is very sketchy, and I sense that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis knows the science will not support the Biden administration. This story -when exposed- has the potential to bring down the Biden administration, big time… DeSantis senses it.
Earlier today, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis held a roundtable press conference with physicians, clinicians and other health officials in Florida to denounce the Biden FDA decision to revoke monoclonal antibody treatments as a therapeutic option. The FDA action was not only done without communication, but the decision was also made without study and without any input from the treatment side of the COVID-19 dynamic.
Here’s a brief segment of the DeSantis statement:
The full presser is below and is well worth watching to listen to the doctors who refute the FDA claim that monoclonal treatments do not assist patients with Omicron variant. Doctors have treated Omicron patients successfully with the monoclonal antibody treatments. The actual doctors who are treating the patients refute the FDA directly.
The input from Dr. Dwight Reynolds is very revealing. Something is very odd around this story.
Comrades, we all knew the pearl-clutching would reach stratospheric proportions today as the leftists, democrats, communists, media and DC system, writ large, were intent on pushing the most over-the-top “threat to our democracy” claims around the January 6, 2021, protest anniversary.
In typical leftist form, the J6 events are now being compared to the attack on Pearl Harbor and the September 11, 2021 terrorist attacks by the Biden administration. However, before the day’s insufferable events began, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was asked his opinion of what would take place. DeSantis rightly noted this is Christmas Day for the DC system. They have been preparing for this day for almost a year. WATCH:
In military terms, a “Charlie Foxtrot” is a cluster f**k. One level below a FUBAR and one nudge higher than a SNAFU.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has been criticized over the Christmas/New Year holiday for attending the chemotherapy treatments of his wife Casey, and not triggering a higher level of panic in his state as the Omicron variant of COVID-19 spreads.
Yes, as ridiculous as it sounds, pathetic democrats, media and other ideological gnats have been critical of the Florida governor, and today he responded to their nonsense. During a press conference on the latest actions of his administration to enhance COVID therapeutic options, DeSantis responded to the criticism of his time management. WATCH:
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has risen in profile due to his strong leadership in the sunshine state during COVID. Here’s Ron DeSantis’ Christmas message:
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has been a thorn in the side of the federal offices of COVID compliance for the entire year. Florida has almost no restrictions on any activity and yet has no negative COVOD impacts. There are 22 to 25 million people living in Florida.
Governor DeSantis’ approach has been to protect the most vulnerable, make treatments and therapeutics readily available, and keep all systems of society and the economy functioning as normal. His approach has been very successful.
In this interview, Governor DeSantis contrasts his experiences leading a massive state through the pandemic, against what he sees as hysteria and nonsensical approaches by some blue states and the federal government. WATCH:
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is proposing an interesting legislative approach to curb the White House illegal immigration process. In essence, what the Florida legislature will be enacting are laws that restrict any private company from doing business in Florida if they are participating in the federal programs to distribute illegal aliens.
If a federal contractor facilitates the transport, housing or subsidy of an illegal alien into Florida the state will block that contractor from any state level business relationship. “The legislation proposed today will make clear that the State of Florida will not provide any discretionary benefits to illegal aliens and will also prohibit state and local agencies from doing business with any private entities that facilitate the resettlement of illegal aliens in the state of Florida from the southern border. “
The outline is available [HERE], and the Florida Governor appeared on Fox News to discuss the legislation. WATCH:

…. Meanwhile, in New York state they are back to forcing everyone to wear a mask or face a $1,000 fine. The contrast in applied federalism is getting even more remarkable.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis spoke on the inland side of Tampa Bay today as he announced a $276 million state program to support flood and sea level rise mitigation. The funds are one part of a comprehensive state level infrastructure program to support the incredible growth within Florida.
Even without a state income tax Florida is taking in historic revenue from growth. That revenue is being used to build up emergency reserve funds in the event of storms or severe tropical weather impacts, at the same time funds are being used to proactively develop systems to mitigate flooding events at the coastal and inland regions.
During the second half of his remarks today, Governor DeSantis also contrast and reaffirmed his position on the principles of respect for individual rights of all Florida citizens and pushed-back against the need for government intervention or mandates around COVID. Essentially DeSantis recommended that other state governors stop doing stupid stuff. WATCH:
