Nigel Farage Speech: "It's Been a Decade In a Year"…

Catching up on some lengthier presentations – this speech by Nigel Farage on November 11th is well worth a watch.  Against the backdrop of Brexit and the successful election of Donald Trump, Mr. Farage reflects upon issues that bind the United States and Great Britain.
Nigel Farage discusses: nationalism, political impacts, global financial interests, trade, NATO and the European Union.  Mr. Farage also shares his perspective on the “wonderfully spicy” Trump rally in Mississippi during the presidential election.
There’s also a great 10 minute question and answer session toward the end.

Decision Italy – Italians Vote Tomorrow In Nationalism Referendum…

The Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi is attempting to push back against increasing nationalistic sentiments by establishing a referendum tomorrow to fundamentally adjust the political powers of central governance.
renzi-1
In essence, tomorrow Italians will vote “YES” to approve of Renzi’s referendum, or “NO” to oppose his referendum.  The referendum itself is a wide ranging construct intended to realign and centralize political power away from Italy’s current regional influences.
An analogy for Americans might be to think of Italy’s referendum as the elimination of the U.S. constitution’s 10th Amendment.  [Which essentially says all powers not directly given to the federal government are necessarily retained by the states.]   Italy’s vote tomorrow is to determine if their regions (states) are willing to cede power to Renzi’s centralized (federal) government. Brilliant – Howard Dean Drops Out of DNC Race Paving Way for Keith Ellison…

Oh, the good news just keeps on coming. We are one step closer to actually seeing Keith Ellison as the Chairman of the DNC. We should do everything possible to ensure his success in this quest.
Washington (Via CNN) – Howard Dean has dropped his bid for a second stint chairing the Democratic National Committee, citing “other priorities” and a “possibly divisive” race.

“I’m not going to be a candidate for the DNC chairmanship,” the former Vermont governor and 2004 presidential candidate said at the start of an Association of State Democratic Chairs forum in Denver. “I think it could possibly be divisive. I have other priorities. I have a grandchild now. But I am fully dedicated to using as much time as I can to support whoever the chairman is.”
A leading contender for the spot is Rep. Keith Ellison of Minnesota (read more)

Judge Newman Turns Slager Trial into Kangaroo Court – Verdict Now Irrelevant…

The afternoon story began with the announcement the jury in the Officer Michael Slager trial was hopelessly deadlocked.   Previously the State of South Carolina presented two options for verdict consideration, Murder or Voluntary Manslaughter.
Walter Scott - judge clifton newmanThe voluntary manslaughter option (lesser charges) was added AFTER the trial phase was concluded and the defense presented, then rested, its case.
The reason for the lesser charge was transparent to all who knew and followed the case closely, there was virtually no-way for a jury to convict on just the original charge of murder, hence the lesser included.
Adding the lesser charge option after trial testimony was yet again more evidence of a manipulative prosecution.
In essence, the State –with the full support of activist Judge Newman– timed the lesser charge inclusion to ensure the defense never used elements within their legal presentation that would have defended specifically against the manslaughter charge.
However, that said, what happened on Friday was even more insufferable.  After the jury announcing they were deadlocked, Judge Newman began by giving them an appropriate “Allen Charge” – essentially telling the jury to try again. (more…)

Full Audio of Harvard Confrontation – Clinton Campaign -vs- Trump Campaign…

To fully understand the level of angst still permeating the failed Hillary Clinton campaign team, it is wise to remember they were so entirely overconfident they actually rented out the entire Javitz center on election night.
That’s 840,000 square feet of celebratory venue on four levels stretching across six city blocks in New York City.
clinton-javitzTeam Clinton had convinced themselves the election outcome was merely a formality.  Everyone in their concentric circles, including the media, was totally and completely convinced that Hillary Clinton was going to win.  The loss was seismic, tectonic, and beyond jaw-dropping for their echo-chamber.  It caught them entirely unprepared.
That’s the essential backdrop for a level of psychological and emotional denial the Clinton team just cannot bring themselves to overcome.  Last night the severity of their collective grief was on full display during a panel discussion at Harvard University.
It’s somewhat of an election ritual where every four years at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government (CNN’s David Gergen President), opposing teams from the presidential campaigns answer questions together from the media and from each other.
However, this year, Clinton’s advisory team attacked Trump’s campaign team with racism charges, saying “I would rather lose than win the way you guys did.” But the Trump team didn’t take it laying down, and Kellyanne Conway fired right back.
Here’s the explosive confrontation:

BREAKING – Officer Michael Slager – Jury Deadlocked…

The jury in the case against Officer Michael Slager is deadlocked. No decision was able to be reached. The judge has provided an Allen Charge giving the jury a final instruction to go back and deliberate, try again. A “mistrial” is entirely possible.
michael-slager-1Walter Scott - upper hand
Many of us anticipated this outcome because prosecutor Wilson overreached with the initial charge of murder. However, on the day the jury was given the case the prosecution knew/accepted they were not going to get a murder conviction, and convinced Judge Newman to provide a secondary option of voluntary manslaughter.

The judge instructed the jury that they can acquit Slager, convict him of murder or convict him of voluntary manslaughter. A murder conviction carries a sentence of 30 years to life. (link)

If you have not followed the CTH research on this case you might be surprised with this outcome.  The MSM presentation is completely false.  However, long-time CTH readers and contributors will not be shocked.  You can find all prior CTH research HERE

Nancy Pelosi Wins Another Term as Democrat House Leader…

When you consider that 2/3rd’s of all House members come from New York, California or Illinois the vote to re-elect Nancy Pelosi (134-to-63) takes appropriate context.
nancy-pelosi-icbm
The continued polarization of the electorate is playing out as the Democrat party focus even further on the severe left-wing ideology.  In essence, the rabid nature of the minority influence within the party is ensuring their continued irrelevance.
To give you some context for this, consider the make up of the U.S. House of representatives when Pelosi took control in 2006, ultimately culminating in the election of Barack Obama in 2008.  This is what the nation looked like when Pelosi took control:

Report: Trump Will Nominate Elaine Chao as Transportation Secretary – Understanding America's Real Adversary….

Today it is unofficially announced that Elaine Chao will be nominated as President Donald Trump’s Transportation Secretary.

President-elect Donald Trump plans to nominate former Labor Secretary Elaine Chao to head the Transportation Department, a source with knowledge of the decision said on Tuesday. (link)

To understand the nomination we must remind ourselves of the real opposition to any America-First policy agenda.

Trump’s real enemy in his battle to replace the influence of Wall Street and K-Street is best exemplified within the U.S. Chamber of Commerce;… and more specifically by understanding U.S. CoC President Tom Donohue;… and even more specifically by understanding who Donohue pays off and uses to push his agenda, Senator Mitch McConnell.
For far too many years conservatives, ordinary Americans, have not fully grasped the usurpation within those who are professionally Republican.  Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is the primary usurpation agent, the snake within the body politic; the representative personification of all that is corrupt on one side of the UniParty.  The symbiosis between McConnell and Donohue has been toxic to America’s interests.
