Florida Governor Ron DeSantis responded directly to the White House effort to kill Florida residents by withholding previously agreed shipments of Monoclonal Antibodies.

During a press conference earlier today, Governor DeSantis outlined the issues Florida is facing after the Biden administration instructed the federal offices of HHS to punish the successful therapy and recovery efforts of the sunshine state healthcare system.  DeSantis outlines the purchase agreement that Biden intentionally violated and also the issues created by the federal government now blocking direct purchasing of treatment from the manufacturer.

Additionally, DeSantis noted he has held meetings with ¹GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) to purchase mAb shipments directly from the second source manufacturer in order to work around the roadblocks being presented by the Biden administration.  DeSantis reaffirmed his commitment to stand in the way, and not allow Joe Biden to kill Americans just because he doesn’t like their politics.

If the political parties were reversed, the entire White House press corps would be having apoplectic fits about the White House withholding COVID-19 treatments from New York or California, with endless articles written about how Donald Trump was intentionally politicizing healthcare and purposefully killing his political opposition.  Seriously, not an exaggeration; there would be no bigger scandal in the U.S. right now, and congress would be having emergency hearings with subpoenas already en route to HHS officials.

Alas, as the administration of Joe Biden steps in to take control over Monoclonal Antibody (mAb) inventories and distribution, block red states from receiving the treatment, and making grand pronouncements about controlling supply based on “equity”, the White House press corps sits on their hands….  except Newsmax reporter Emerald Robinson.

Watch Jennifer Psaki lie, twist, obfuscate and manipulate the discussion in an attempt to defend an indefensible position when questioned by Robinson about Biden’s recent moves to punish Florida.  This is one of the most insufferably twisted answers from the podium to date.  WATCH:

First, keep in mind Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was initially blasted by progressives, the media writ large and the White House for his support of Monoclonal Antibody treatment.  The mainstream media even attempted to claim that DeSantis’ support for the treatment was based on some financial benefit to the primary manufacturer, Regeneron.  A completely false narrative that quickly collapsed as DeSantis continued setting up dozens of mAb treatment centers around Florida.

On September 9th, President Joe Biden made the announcement that all employers with more than 100 employees would be required to enforce a worker vaccine mandate.

At the same time Biden announced all federal workers must be vaccinated and issued an updated executive order.  Biden also expanded the federal requirements for contractors, Executive Order Here.

♦ The federal worker requirement has a date for guidance to execute the order listed as Sept. 16th: “The Task Force shall issue guidance within 7 days of the date of this order on agency implementation of this requirement for all agencies covered by this order.” {Section 2.0 link}.  The XO is very vague and generic on the issue of guidance.

♦ The due date for guidance for the contractor order is September 24th: “By September 24, 2021, the Safer Federal Workforce Task Force (Task Force) shall, as part of its issuance of Task Force Guidance, provide definitions of relevant terms for contractors and subcontractors, explanations of protocols required of contractors and subcontractors to comply with workplace safety guidance {Section 2.0(b) link}.  However, the Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has to review the Task Force guidance for feasibility and then approve the guidance.

So, there are three elements: (1) Federal worker mandate; (2) Federal contractor mandate; and the big controversial one, (3) a national worker mandate for companies with over 100 employees.

We have actually seen this issue before as a result of the Obama open border policy.  A measles outbreak in Virginia and Wisconsin amid refugees from Afghanistan has caused the U.S. State Department to pause the program for further arrivals.

RICHMOND, Va. — Six people who recently traveled to the United States after fleeing the Taliban in Afghanistan have been diagnosed with measles, officials said Tuesday.

The cases in Virginia and Wisconsin are being reported four days after the U.S. halted in-bound flights of Afghan evacuees following the discovery of a few cases of measles among new arrivals.

As many have noted, the *entire* premise behind the Biden administration mandatory vaccine requirement for U.S. workers is political.  They are not even attempting to frame a legal or constitutionally valid basis for their unilateral proclamation.  Nothing about the policy is based on science, or even the possibility of executive authority.

The announcement on Thursday was a pure political ruse intended to stir support from the Democrat base, and distract from the mess they created in Afghanistan.  If the vaccine mandate wasn’t political theater, if they really believed in it, they would not be taking the visible approach seen today from the White House press secretary.

When questioned about American workers, being forced to take a vaccine under the auspices of public health – yet not requiring vaccines for illegal economic migrants, the administration shrugged and said: “that’s correct”.   Undermining their ’emergency health authorization’ premise would not be their approach if the White House really did believe they had a legal pathway to the mandate.   WATCH:

The Biden term was designed for a single set of four-year rapid advancements for the Democrat Socialist agenda. The Biden poll ratings and favorability, or lack therein, do not factor into the plan of action; those issues are irrelevant.

That said, they cannot leave him wandering around the Rose Garden muttering to himself and still keep up the pretense of a presidency.  So, Chief of Staff Ron Klain threw Biden out front to push a political position doomed to fail because they need some appearance of support after millions of Democrats recently abandoned their Potemkin candidate.

The timing of the Capitol Hill fence being reinstalled by the police; and the deployment of the national guard to surround the capitol; at the same time that Joe Biden announces mandatory vaccine requirements for almost all workers in the United States, are not f**king coincidental.

First, the new forced vaccination rules…

(Via AP) “President Joe Biden on Thursday is announcing sweeping new federal vaccine requirements affecting as many as 100 million Americans in an all-out effort to increase COVID-19 vaccinations and curb the surging delta variant that is killing thousands each week and jeopardizing the nation’s economic recovery.

The expansive rules mandate that all employers with more than 100 workers require them to be vaccinated or test for the virus weekly, affecting about 80 million Americans. And the roughly 17 million workers at health facilities that receive federal Medicare or Medicaid also will have to be fully vaccinated.

Biden is also signing an executive order to require vaccination for employees of the executive branch and contractors who do business with the federal government — with no option to test out. That covers several million more workers.

[…] In addition to the vaccination requirements, Biden is moving to double federal fines for airline passengers who refuse to wear masks on flights or to maintain face covering requirements on federal property in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines.

The architect of Obamacare, Jonathan Gruber, famously said, “We relied upon the stupidity of the American voter“, when they lied about the changes to healthcare in order to get Obamacare passed into law.   Today the White House Chairman of the National Economic Council, Brian Deese, pulled out the Gruber playbook and attempted the same level of nonsense to convince the media that food inflation wasn’t real.

Just about everything Brian Deese stated in that segment about the root cause of food price inflation is false.  He’s not mistaken, he is not getting it wrong, he is not looking at false assumptions, he is lying.  He knows what he is saying is false…. he also knows it is abjectly silly on its face.  The proteins are driven up by the skyrocketing feed prices underneath them.

If you take away the food products driving the highest price increases, the price increases don’t look quite as high.   What the heck kind of bizarro-world spin is that?   Yes, it is true, if I take the fork I stabbed you with out of your eye the headache might subside slightly.  Good grief.

Wheat, corn and soybeans are the foundation of the U.S. food supply. They are primarily used as ingredients in processed foods, oils, and are fed to the cattle, hogs, and poultry that supply meat and eggs for the American diet. When those grain harvests go up in price, the downstream increase in price is far reaching.  Additionally, the part about multinational corporations merging and profiteering is a little disingenuous considering Joe Biden recently increased the amount of food stamp assistance by 25% per recipient, and expanded the program.
