The level of absurdity from the official media channel of the U.S. Department of State, CNN, is reaching new levels of Tokyo Rose disinformation and propaganda.
♦ ‘President Trump’s temporary pause and reassessment of visa approvals, combined with the implementation of “extreme vetting” will make our mid-east allies unhappy’… they say.
♦ ‘President Trump’s request for a reevaluation of our relationship and structure with NATO will make our European allies unhappy’…. they say.
Let’s think about this factually and logically. Who are these “mid-east allies” who would be upset? Seriously, think about it. (more…)
President Donald Trump has announced Dr. Neil Gorsuch as nominee for the Supreme Court. Here is the video of the announcement and Judge Gorsuch acceptance remarks.
.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer will not filibuster the nomination.
Relax, it’s 100%. 100%. Done.
Judge Gorsuch will take the bench with the customary vocal goofball moonbattery of the far-left, perhaps with some Trump Derangement Syndrome sprinkled on top, but he will take the bench.
Senator Schumer’s only play is to delay the confirmation process because he doesn’t want Gorsuch on this year’s SCOTUS rulings, which by itself is doubtful if McConnell finds his balls, but Schumerwill NOT block the overall nomination. Here’s why. (more…)
Supreme Court Justice nominee Neil Gorsuch is a Colorado native and the son of a Republican politician, the late Anne Gorsuch Burford, who was a state legislator and then director of the Environmental Protection Agency for President Reagan. Gorsuch attended Columbia University and Harvard Law School, after which he clerked for D.C. Circuit Court judge David Sentelle.
Gorsuch then clerked for Supreme Court justices Byron White and Anthony Kennedy in 1993–94. The next year he studied for a doctorate of philosophy at Oxford University under the legal philosopher John Finnis.
After spending ten years at a law firm in Washington, D.C., Gorsuch went to work for the Justice Department in 2005–06. President George W. Bush nominated him to the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, which covers Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, Utah, Wyoming, and New Mexico. His confirmation was quick and uncontroversial.
DHS Secretary James Kelly explains that DHS is still researching alternatives to enhance the background screening processes for “extreme vetting”, which will likely include research into foreign national applicant activity with websites, social media and phone records. WASHINGTON DC – “We have to be convinced that people who come here, there is a reasonable expectation that we know who they are, and what they’re coming here for, and what their backgrounds are,” Department of Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly told reporters Tuesday. [video of press conference below]
General Kelly reiterated that Trump’s order — which suspended most travel from Iraq, Iran, Libya, Syria, Sudan, Somalia and Yemen — is “not a ban on Muslims,” contrary to Democratic characterizations of the order. “Religious liberty is one of our most fundamental and treasured values,” he said. History repeats. Many people will remember what happened in Wisconsin in 2011 when control of the state legislature flipped from Democrat control to Republican control and Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker began initiating a series of state budget reforms. In 2011 the fourteen defeated Wisconsin senate democrats that remained in office fled to Illinois in a failed attempt to block legislation by not providing a quorum.
The 14 state legislators became famously known as “milk carton democrats” and/or “fleebaggers”.
Today in Washington DC Senate Committee Democrats deployed the same childish strategy to block HHS Secretary confirmation of Tom Price, and Treasury Secretary confirmation of Steve Mnuchin: WASHINGTON DC – Senate Democrats on Tuesday boycotted two committee votes to delay the confirmations of President Donald Trump’s picks to head the Health and Human Services and Treasury departments. Was the vast Russian conspiracy really only a week ago? In between the current refugee crisis du-jour and the notification of the next supreme court nominee, President Trump met with a group of small business leaders to hear their concerns and outline some new policy initiatives. WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump signed an executive order Monday morning that he said will “dramatically reduce federal regulations” on businesses.
“We’ll be reducing [regulations] big league and their damaging effects on our small businesses, our economy and our entrepreneurial spirit,” Trump said during a meeting with small business leaders. “The American dream is back, and we’re going to create an environment for small business like we haven’t had in many, many decades.” (more…)

It’s hilarious to see the MSM (Mostly Swamp Media) and DC politicos heads’ spinning as they try to keep up with the Trump Train. They say “impossible”, he says “great, let’s get started”… It’s a never ending stream of deliberate consciousness… LOLOL. Whoops. The MSM is really bad at playing whack-a-mole.
By the time they’ve got their cameras and pundits briefed on their preferred outrage of the day ::poof:: someone drops an anvil on their head, Trump disappears and word comes out he’s reappeared with a new batch of instructions and policy deliverables for them to be outraged about.
Look, over there… no, wait,… over there… here, huh.. wha? Has it really only been a week since it was “muh Russians”?…. sheesh.
Trump-time moves so fast, they don’t have time to roll out the traditional coordinated talking points. President Trump is one person, yet he has them surrounded.
Swamp peeps nerves are frayed, they’re desperate for President Trump to take a day off… but he never stops. My God, he-just-never-stops. Today, the swamp passed around the word “crisis”, but it didn’t phase him; he drove right through it. Abandon the airports, he just fired the AG, head to the courthouse…. EPA did what? Oh, SCOTUS?…. gotcha!
It’s the scariest thing the entire DC apparatus has ever experienced. They’re aging on TV in front of your eyes. TV Time is now measured in dog years. Each media day the pundits grow seven months worth of furrowed brow and wrinkles.
Even at home the media feel like they’re living out of a suitcase, and they haven’t seen a non-coworker in 11 days. Was that table always there?… Wait, stop… Soy Milk?.. Refugees are… wait, you’re blonde? huh?.. When did Jess get that tattoo? who?… boyfriend. Wha? I like football… do I? I thought… {{phone rings}} what tax plan?…
Obviously they were not paying attention for the past 18 months. This is high energy, all the time:
BREAKING: President Donald Trump has fired Obama appointee, and acting Attorney General, Sally Yates for refusing to enforce a legal order.
