Somewhat quietly, though not without some water-cooler discussion, the Republican Party Leadership is warning membership to stay away from the upcoming Cleveland Ohio convention.
The media is describing the issue as centering around those elected politicians who may want to avoid the potential for divisive controversy. However, if you look at the actual landscape, and then look at the political ideology of those who are openly saying they are staying away, what you’ll notice is the RINO caucus, the ‘Decepticons’, are the most cautious.

If you spend some time digging through the professional GOPe messaging, what you’ll note is the party leadership seems fully aware something very dangerous might just come to fruition. Not dangerous in a violent way per se’, but rather dangerous in a very political and contentious way; there’s very good reason for this. (more…)
(Via Washington Examiner) Following a drop in students applying for housing, the University of Missouri will not be placing students in two dorms for the fall 2016 semester.
Mizzou will be closing the Respect and Excellence halls (ironic names, given the circumstances) in order to utilize dorm space “in the most efficient manner” to keep costs down.
In March, the university announced that it saw a sharp drop in admissions for the coming school year, and will have 1,500 fewer students. This will lead to a $32 million budget shortfall for the school, prompting the need to close the dorms in order to save money.

Interesting, and profoundly apropos cartoon from LA Times.

The fourth estate is dead. It has been replaced by a corporate centric, Wall Street compliant, institutional business enterprise intent on making its employees part of the parade; And if natural political osmosis doesn’t provide the desired outcome, well, they’ll just manufacture it…

Speaking on behalf of Donald Trump, Sarah Palin gave a speech last night to a Wisconsin Republican audience. Standing firmly on a platform of truth, Palin warned the mostly party (establishment) audience their decision to stand with deception in order to win an election also means placing themselves in a very precarious position.
The response from the audience to Sarah’s brutal honesty was what’s customarily known as “the collective nervousness of deceivers“.

Whenever anyone dares to tell the collective: ‘the emperor stands naked’; there’s a particular kind of autonomic group nervousness immediately evident. A group discomfort.
Such was the discomfort when Sarah Palin mentioned Senator Ted Cruz’s weak and opportunistic immigration position, and then contrast a real-life example of Cruz going to McAllen Texas (Saturday, July 19th 2014) to hand out “gift baskets” and welcome illegal alien families.
You could hear a pin-drop as an entire audience sat jaw-agape in disbelief.
When a fearless truth-teller stares down a room – the collective immediately need each other to retain their guise. Here’s an example of their initial response: (more…)
Police were also called to Emory University, and Kansas University. Coast to coast in several states and universities the National Guard has been requested to position in a state of readiness in case the chalkings continue….
Michigan University President Mark Schissel confirmed in a statement Thursday afternoon that slogans including “Trump 2016,” and “Build the Wall” had appeared on campus. (link)

According to Michigan Daily […] Several students found the chalkings so offensive that they decided to alert the school’s Division of Public Safety and Security. A campus police officer responded to the scene, but told the students that there was little the department could do because it was after hours, at which point the students took it upon themselves to douse the writings with water and wipe them away. Inside Articles:
The MSM went into immediate obfuscation mode on this event hours ago. Virginia State Troopers were conducting a training exercise at a Greyhound Bus Station when a shooter opened fire upon them.
The media is currently making it seem like a random shooting at a bus station – that is NOT the case. This has all the earmarks of a pre-planned assassination attempt. Six people shot, one trooper killed:

RICHMOND, Va. – A Virginia State trooper who was shot when a suspect opened fire at a Greyhound bus station in Richmond Thursday afternoon has died, multiple sources told WTVR CBS 6 News.
Richmond Police Chief Alfred Durham said at least six people were shot when a suspect opened fire inside the bus station in the 2910 N. Boulevard at 2:45 p.m. (more…)

The senate “Gang of Eight” comprehensive immigration reform bill, which included amnesty legislation was not blocked by Senator Ted Cruz or Senator Marco Rubio – it specifically passed the senate because of them, not despite them.
A very insightful PBS documentary “The Immigration Battle” lays out exactly what took place during the 2013/2014 legislative time frame. If you have not watched the documentary I would strongly recommend you do so, it is profoundly enlightening. (more…)
