Since 2013 we have specifically documented the legislative agenda of Tom Donohue, Wall Street, and their lobbying arm the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.  The CoC legislative agenda includes:

• Retention of ObamaCare – Without repeal or modification
• Implementation of Federal Common Core Education Standards

Almost everyone is familiar with the most devastating loss for the Professional Political Establishment in the 2014 election cycle, the primary defeat of House Majority Leader Eric Cantor by insurgent patriot Dave Brat.

Fewer people recognize how devastating the loss was for the globalist DC elites who were less than two days away from approving the Gang-of-Eight Amnesty Bill known as “Comprehensive Immigration Reform”.

With the vote count “whipped”, and with enough House votes to pass identified, Speaker John Boehner was set to hold the vote on Thursday June 12th 2014.  Cantor was defeated (primaried) Tuesday June 10th, and the “whip count” disappeared almost immediately.

By now everyone is aware the Omnibus Spending and Tax Provision bills, used by Republicans in lieu of an actual Fiscal Year 2016 budget (Thanks Boehner Inc), have passed today.

However, for the sake of clarity -and because in the current legislative climate so many refuse to believe reality- it must be absolutely noted, WITHOUT DOUBT, what took place.

Republicans control the House and Senate – specifically because we supported them into office – however, this spending/tax package was passed with DEMOCRAT SUPPORT.

Stop – Pause – Think.

Republican Majority Speaker of The House Paul Ryan and Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell passed a spending and tax bill supported by more Democrats than Republicans.

The he-said, he-said, between presidential candidates Senator Marco Rubio and Senator Ted Cruz provides an opportunity to highlight just how close passage of Amnesty law was in 2014.

The senate “Gang of Eight” comprehensive immigration reform bill, which included amnesty legislation  was not blocked by Ted Cruz nor Marco Rubio – it specifically passed the senate because of them, not despite them.

2:00am, December 16th 2015, and yet another 2,000+ page bill emerges from the halls of congressional staff – this one an “Ominibus spending bill” with over $1.5 Trillion in expenditures, almost certain to add yet another thousand billion to the structural deficit.

Republicans control the House and the Senate.

Nothing good ever comes from congress at 2:00am.

Obama-Care came from the halls of the Senate at 1:36am on 12/23/09. More trillions, beyond trillions. The Democrats controlled the House and the Senate – we removed them.

For some insufferable reason it appears Speaker Paul Ryan and Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, the Republican leadership, think the U.S. electorate are unaware of the contents of this recent Omnibus spending. We’re not. (more…)

Senator Ted Cruz relies on two essential political elements to keep his “conservative” ruse afloat. The first is that people don’t follow “unanimous consent” passages in the Senate; the second is that people don’t follow “cloture votes” – Both of which are never recorded “roll call votes”, and allow candidates to obscure their intent and later claim a counter position.

It’s a good trick, and indeed fools almost everyone.  Unless, that is, you’re tracking them while they occur…

Red Circled Candidates All Support Trans-Pacific Trade Agreement (TPP)

CASE IN POINT – HR2146 (TPA “Trade Promotion Authority” or “Fast Track”): This House Bill #2146 originating April 30th ’15, became the vehicle for passage of Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) for the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal.

HR2146 was originally introduced in the House of Representatives as a bill to address issues with retirement funds of federal law enforcement officers and firefighters.

BACKSTORY – In the beginning of the congressional session, with Republicans now in control of both the House and Senate, in Feb-March-April of 2015,  Senator Ted Cruz and House Ways and Means Chairman, Representative Paul Ryan, supported Trade Promotion Authority being added to HR2146.

Wow – Now we know why the GOPe is in full blown panic mode.  The results from the latest WMUR/CNN Poll in New Hampshire (full pdf below) shows support for Ben Carson has fully collapsed, and Ted Cruz drops below John Kasich…. But it gets much, much worse for the establishment candidates.

The GOPe road map has totally collapsed in New Hampshire.  All of the GOPe splitters are now left picking leftover scraps from those voters who are in the undecideds:

Trump has forced upon the GOPe the absolute nightmare scenario – “the splitters are splitting upon themselves”.   Rubio, Bush and Christie combined cannot beat Donald Trump’s current level of support.

The millions spent by Team Kasich have garnered him a grand total of 7%; and the tens of millions spent by Jeb Bush only get him to 8%.  The granite state electorate are fully engaged and they are seeing through the GOPe establishment schemes.

The New Hampshire voters are also seeing through the convenient flip-flops of Cruz and have identified the reality of Carson’s inability. (more…)

Now word comes of a ‘Five-Year’ Highway Spending deal just North of $300 billion – Here’s the bill pdf ( <– warning 1,300+ pages):

WASHINGTON DC – Lawmakers are on track to clear a massive transportation infrastructure bill as soon as this week, a legislative coup a decade in the making that will give new House Speaker Paul Ryan something to crow about.

Negotiators from both chambers of Congress tasked with hashing out a final deal are set to announce an agreement Tuesday afternoon after a majority of conferees signed off on the package, setting the stage for the mammoth deal to move through the House and Senate this week, ahead of this Friday’s deadline. As expected, the bill also includes a provision to revive the Export-Import Bank, an export-promoting agency that expired last summer amid attacks from conservatives who said it provides corporate welfare and promotes crony capitalism.
