WASHINGTON — Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel is stepping down under pressure, the first cabinet-level casualty of the collapse of President Obama’s Democratic majority in the Senate and a beleaguered national security team that has struggled to stay ahead of an onslaught of global crises.

President Obama sat down with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, a fellow traveler and ideological compatriot for Democrat political administrations, to frame their collective narrative and discuss their united approach.   The Hill published an article about it.
During the recorded, edited and broadcast, conversation the subject of Ferguson Missouri came up.  Of course it did.  Controlling the forward narrative is now of paramount concern.
For those who willingly digest the manipulation much buffet was offered.  For others, those who see the larger picture, the falsehoods were a stark contrast.

Early in the Ferguson protesting a group of professional communists and antagonists from Chicago arrived on scene to exploit the Mike Brown shooting outrage.

Today within an article highlighting school closings for Monday and Tuesday in/around the Saint Louis/Ferguson area you find the following disturbing mentions:

[…]  School district representatives from several north St. Louis County districts say they’ve been requested by law enforcement to close for two days immediately after the announcement to keep buses and excess traffic off streets in the event of unrest.

Children in Jennings don’t have bus service. Most of them walk, making Anderson even more concerned for their safety.

On Thursday, Anderson said a group of adults wearing masks and claiming to be from Chicago were passing out fliers to students as they walked home along Cozens Avenue. The street has an elementary school, the junior high and high school.

All part of a coordinated strategy.  The White House knows the Presidential Executive Order has little overall support, consequently they don’t want that much attention toward it….  Usurpation works best in the shadows.

(Via Truth Revolt) President Obama’s announcement of his immigration executive order Thursday night is apparently for Latino ears only. Though the White House claims that they sent out “feelers” to the major English-speaking networks, they didn’t bother sending an official request for coverage. Instead, only Latino networks Univision and Telemundo are airing the president’s 10-minute announcement.
As The Washington Post notes, the president’s 8 p.m. announcement comes at a particularly opportune time for reaching a “captive audience of Hispanic television viewers”: the 15^th annual Latin Grammys, which airs on Univision starting at 7 p.m. Last year around 9.8 million viewers tuned into the awards ceremony. Univision is doing its part to make sure the president’s message reaches its millions of viewers by temporarily postponing the show to broadcast Obama’s address.   (more…)

The story of the hotel worker being fired for posting pictures of DHS vehicles inside the garage of a Saint Louis hotel is what’s known as “psy-ops”, or psychological operations.

Key emphasis: the way the story is delivered is psy-ops, not the facts of the event itself.  A key distinction missed by most.
The intent of psy-ops is to influence opinion, subsequently influencing behavior, with a concerted effort of factual twisting to frame a specific version of events.   Conservatives absolutely suck at spotting the use of this tactical messaging method, and consistently fall for it.
It would take a long thesis to explain why conservatively minded people fall for the manipulative use of psychological operations, and liberals do not.  In summary it would come down to conservatives, holding an ideology based on truthful principles, subsequently taking things at face value – whereas Liberal Marxists are comfortable inside a messaging system structurally based on falsehoods and lies, so they are always untrusting.
This is also why progressives ideologies advance, and conservatives stand watching the aftermath with jaw agape.
Psy-ops operations are like cognitive land mines and should be treated as such.  A soldier has to train him/herself to deal with real landmines;  likewise you too need to train yourself to spot them when they appear. (more…)

Bret Baier utilized research tonight on his show “Special Report” that was done by Jane Hamsher -back in 2010 and 2011- surrounding Jonathan Gruber and the construct of ObamaCare legislation.  Hamsher did an exceptional job, yet, at the time, few were listening….

FLASHBACK MAY 2010 – HUFFINGTON POST Up until this point, most of the attention regarding the failure to disclose the connection between Jonathan Gruber and the White House has fallen on Gruber himself. Far more troubling, however, is the lack of disclosure on the part of the White House, the Senate, the DNC and other Democratic leaders who distributed Gruber’s work and cited it as independent validation of their proposals, orchestrating the appearance of broad consensus when in fact it was all part of the same effort.
The White House is placing a giant collective bet on Gruber’s “assumptions” to justify key portions of the Senate bill such as the “Cadillac tax,” which they allowed people to believe was independent verification. Now that we know that Gruber’s work was not that of an independent analyst but rather work performed as a contractor to the White House and paid for by taxpayers, and economists like Larry Mishel are raising serious questions about its validity, it should be made publicly available so others can judge its merits.
