An enthusiastic crowd filled the auditorium earlier today.  Thousands of cheering fans sat eagerly on  their seat, anticipating,…. and then the moment came.  President Ted Cruz stepped onto the stage to resounding applause and announced:

“Capital Gains Taxes are impacting the capacity of our economy to expand; therefore effective tomorrow I’m instructing the IRS to cease and desist any collection or enforcement efforts in that regard.

Effective immediately businesses and individuals can, if they choose, discontinue filing capital gains incomes on their quarterly income tax returns. My administration will make no efforts to punish for non-payment.

However, congress can avoid such an executive order if they will simply send me a repeal bill for any and all corporate and individual capital gains revenue”.

Does it Sound ridiculous? Does it sound like something that might send Democrats and the media into 24/7 news cycles as they debate a constitutional crisis?

During the Brisbane G20 summit final presser (Sunday Morning) Ed Henry asked President Obama about the Jonathan Gruber controversy:

Imagine for a moment U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron delivering a speech at a U.S. university, while attending a global summit in the U.S. hosted by President Obama.
Imagine Mr. Cameron taking to the stage of the university and orating how the current administration holds no value toward the founding fathers of the U.S. Constitution.
Further imagine how it would be received if Mr. Cameron’s guest speech was about how nationalized socialistic healthcare, specifically ObamaCare, was corrosive and destructive to the foundational principles of our Republic.  Or if how Obama’s refusal to allow the Keystone pipeline was indicative of his communistic tendencies.

If that were ever to happen the professional left, and the U.S. administration, would be apoplectic with anger at the arrogance of such an undiplomatic and uncouth display.  It’s easy to imagine Chris Matthews shouting about how such an event would be ill-mannered and intentionally embarrassing the President.
However, that level of imaginary arrogance wasn’t imaginary this past weekend.  That is exactly what President Obama did while attending the G20 Summit in Brisbane Australia. (more…)

We know this stuff.  Heck, we ALL know/knew what was/is being done inside the executive suites of ABC, CBS and NBC – writ large.    However, to see it actually explained by a person who was inside the organization and told to stop is still quite revealing.

We pointed out in Gruber video #4 how, according to his own admissions, Jonathan Gruber met with Senator Obama in 2006 -and then again with President Obama in 2009- in the Oval Office, to construct the tax scheme within the ObamaCare insurance fraud.
However, what’s missing amid the new discussion created by the recent Gruber revelations is a contrast, or context, to the historical ‘candidate Obama’ Campaign commercials.
So again, just to insure the hammer head meets the nail watch these short (30 second) 2008 campaign commercials which specifically focused on taxation of healthcare premiums:

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

*Sidenote* Charles Krauthammer just took Juan Williams to the woodshed on this issue, using an analogy around Capital Gains Taxation and the IRS.  EPIC – Juan was speechless… I’ll look for video.


FOX EXCLUSIVE: President Obama is planning to unveil a 10-part plan for overhauling U.S. immigration policy via executive action — including suspending deportations for millions — as early as next Friday, a source close to the White House told Fox News.
The president’s plans were contained in a draft proposal from a U.S. government agency. The source said the plan could be announced as early as Nov. 21, though the date might slip a few days pending final White House approval.  (more…)

Not having spent any time researching this issue we’re left to wonder if this is part of the overall “redistribution” objectives of the social engineers.  Your thoughts?
(Via The Verge)  President Obama has come out in support of reclassifying internet service as a utility, a move that would allow the Federal Communications Commission to enforce more robust regulations and protect net neutrality.
“To put these protections in place, I’m asking the FCC to reclassifying internet service under Title II of a law known as the Telecommunications Act,” Obama says in a statement this morning. “In plain English, I’m asking [the FCC] to recognize that for most Americans, the internet has become an essential part of everyday communication and everyday life.” (more…)

Who, I mean WHO, in their right mind would go along with this idea?

For an administration so singularly focused, tuned-in, and twitchy about “optics”, and control thereof, this had to be an intentional set-up to allow ridicule of President Obama in China.   There is no other reasonable explanation.

(The New Republic) […] Jarrett holds a key vote on Cabinet picks (she opposed Larry Summers at Treasury and was among the first Obama aides to come around on Hillary Clinton at State) and has an outsize say on ambassadorships and judgeships. She helps determine who gets invited to the First Lady’s Box for the State of the Union, who attends state dinners and bill-signing ceremonies, and who sits where at any of the above. She has placed friends and former employees in important positions across the administration—“you can be my person over there,” is a common refrain.

And Jarrett has been known to enjoy the perks of high office herself. When administration aides plan “bilats,” the term of art for meetings of two countries’ top officials, they realize that whatever size meeting they negotiate—nine by nine, eight by eight, etc.—our side will typically include one less foreign policy hand, because Jarrett has a standing seat at any table that includes the president.
