TURKEY – Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan vowed on Monday to make lessons in the Arabic-alphabet Ottoman language compulsory in high schools — a highly symbolic move which enraged secularists who claim he is pursuing an increasingly Islamist agenda.
Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of modern Turkey, abolished the Ottoman language in 1928, replacing its Arabic alphabet with a Latin one.  He also purged the language of many of its Arabic, Persian and Greek words to create a new “pure” Turkish closer to the language people spoke. (more…)

Note, Jorge Ramos does not understand the framework of a constitutional republic. His only mental reference points are his experience living under a parliamentary dictatorship. He’s clueless about what co-equal powers of three branches of government means. He views the U.S. Presidency as omnipotent – and does not understand the President is merely one office, one branch, one third of power.

The media is claiming CIA Director John Brennan is angry about the release of the CIA report…. Horsepucky! That is a complete and total ruse meant to deflect attention away from the real reasons why the former White House advisor, and fellow ideological traveler, was selected for the top job in the CIA.

Secondly, while the leftist ideologues are in a drama induced apoplectic feint about the Democrat Committee reports’ content, there is nothing within the report that is as bad as the previous leaks -around content- would have led anyone to believe.
However, that said, what the report does do is effectively accomplish it’s inherent goal. The goal of the report was to further diminish the influence of America through President Obama’s preferred method of Alinsky tactics: Isolate, Ridicule, Marginalize.
By outlining the assistance from known and unknown allies in the war against extremist terrorism – the Obama administration has effectively insured that no country will again trust us to keep secret their alliance.   This approach ‘isolates’ our nation from broader security reaches and ‘marginalizes’ our leverage or influence. To quote the Obama administration: “Call it the stupidity of the American voter, or whatever“, but for obvious reasons the beltway oxygen is being sucked into telling the story of the Senate Committee Intelligence report on “Enhanced CIA Interrogation Techniques”, while ignoring the fact that another pentagon report has yet to surface.

As the CIA report is breathlessly awaited by the leftist storytellers, and media – but I repeat myself, almost no-one is asking about releasing the Army investigation into Bowe Bergdahl which has been complete for three months.
Obviously one report, the CIA report, allows a story to be told which will disparage U.S. interests; the other report, Bergdahl, represents a political risk.  To the latter, back in October as the investigation was announced to be complete:

[…] Army spokesman Wayne Hall said the review process likely would be lengthy, and that “the Army’s priority is ensuring that our process is thorough, factually accurate, impartial, and legally correct,” according to the report.

The Army is looking into whether Bergdahl had deserted his post in Afghanistan or was away without leave before he was captured, which would be violations of, and punishable, under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. (link)

It’s enough to make you think this is all just a distraction; enabling the White House to kick the can past the distracted media.

Dear Readers, the unknown White House motive for distracting people toward all of this racial/Police anxiety stuff just gained exponential sunlight.

As the Daily Caller partly outlines – Secretary of the Treasury Jacob Lew, Obama’s former White House Chief of Staff, who was chief of staff when the illegal IRS/White House scheme was rolled out, took the emails and documents that were set to be released and now refuses to ever turn them over.
His rationale? Secretary Lew claims he cannot release information about improper disclosures of confidential taxpayer information – because, wait for it,…  that would be an improper disclosure of confidential taxpayer information.

PAUSE AND READ SLOWLY => Inherent in this position is the absolute admission the content of the documents, he is now refusing to turn over, contain illegally shared information from the IRS to the White House.

In order for Secretary Jack Lew to claim the content of the documents contain information illegal to share with the plaintiff he is admitting the content was originally, and similarly, illegal to share with the White House.
The documents were found pursuant to a lawsuit that the legal advocacy firm Cause of Action filed against the Treasury Department’s inspector general.
The lawyer for the inspector general, Gregory M. Miller, told Cause of Action this week in a letter that Lew seized the documents. (more…)

Consider what he wrote on page 276 of his 1995 memoir, “Dreams from My Father,” reflecting on his decision to study law: “I had things to learn in law school, things that would help me bring about real change. I would learn power’s currency in all its intricacy and detail, knowledge that I could now bring back to where it was needed…bring it back like Promethean fire.”

So I was surprised, grand jury system worked, despite enormous pressures exerted by the president’s representative, Eric Holder, the attorney general.
