Leftist media bent over backwards to push this story. Now it’s proven false they’ll most likely ignore any follow-up. Another Hate Hoax Accuser who made it all up:
New York – She made it all up — and now she’s under arrest.

Tonight Vice-President-Elect Governor Mike Pence took his wife to a performance of Hamilton on Broadway. The cast took the opportunity to call out and target Governor Pence and his wife Karen. They later bragged about it on twitter.
The real irony/absurdity is thick: Historically Hamilton believed the individual was not subservient to the state, a position exactly the opposite of the protestation decried by the social justice cast using Hamilton’s legacy as the basis for their performance.
That point will be lost amid the chattering class. Then again, liberals have a history of attacks against Republican Presidents’ in theaters.

New York – A man suspected of gunning down a Queens imam and his friend outside a mosque was taken into custody Sunday night, sources said.
The motive in the horrific Saturday afternoon killings may be an ongoing feud between Muslims and Hispanics, according to sources. They said an NYPD Regional Fugitive Task Force was conducting what turned out to be a “brief surveillance” on the suspect in Queens when he rammed an unmarked cop car and officers nabbed him.
Police officials could not confirm whether a suspect was in custody. Video of the Saturday night ambush showed the shooting was a planned execution. (more…)
Because the explosion was near Eli Wiesel’s funeral, and with tensions high surrounding recent terrorist attacks; and because of the severity of injury, many are concerned this might not have been a “fireworks incident”.

CBS via YouGov has released a series of battleground polls for New York, Pennsylvania and California (full pdf’s below). Interestingly the polls are not identical questionnaires; instead they appear geographically nuanced, specifically on the Democrat queries.
However, there are some rather interesting trend similarities which are embedding as the campaigns of the three remaining republican candidates take on increased importance:
- The electorate has made up their mind. There is only about 3% of the electorate who might change their vote. There will not be any “surging” per se’.
- Donald Trump’s overall appeal is across all demographics and internal ideologies.
- Donald Trump wins with women voters, and higher information political consumers.
- Very Importantly – Trump is seen as most authentic and capable as a political change agent.
- Trump also leads with Hispanic voters in California, and absolutely crushes the competition with the Asian electorate.
- The most important issue in all three states (NY, PA, CA) are jobs/economy. And economic voters are overwhelmingly Trump voters. (Trump also leads on the alternative issues – second place: security/terrorism)
- Conversely, Ted Cruz is seen as the most “inauthentic” candidate in the race.
NEW YORK
The latest polling (full pdf below) released today positions candidate Donald Trump for a full delegate sweep of all congressional districts:
“It’s not just the statewide results that offer bad news for Cruz. Even outside of New York City and its suburbs, he’s running way behind Trump and even a tad behind Kasich. That means Trump could sweep nearly all of the state’s delegates.” (link)

There are 95 total delegates at stake. 14 delegates awarded to the state winner, and 81 district delegates (27 districts x 3 delegates each). Any candidate who gets 50% +1 of the vote in each of the congressional districts wins all three of the district’s delegates. In addition, there is a minimum threshold of 20% for any 2nd place candidate to gain one delegate (if winner below 50%).
Candidate Donald Trump is currently positioned to win all 95 of the state delegates in New York. In addition, candidate Trump is leading in every demo.

Mr. Giuliani, who will be a delegate from Manhattan at the Republican National Convention, said he would have more sway on the floor as someone who had not endorsed anyone. (link)
(New York) Former Mayor Rudy Giuliani said he’s voting for fellow New Yorker Donald Trump for president in the April 19 Republican primary.
“I support Trump. I’m gonna vote for Trump,” Giuliani told The Post Thursday.

Giuliani said he expects Trump will get more than 50 percent of the statewide vote and amass a lion’s share of New York’s 95 delegates.
“It’s a question of how much he gets over 50 percent. If he wins 70 to 80 delegates, Donald has a good shot of securing the 1,237 delegates to secure the nomination before the convention,” Giuliani said. (more…)
