Political battles are not that much different from traditional wars and battles.  Most of the attention is always focused on what’s visible, what you can see, the consequences.

However, it’s far away from the geography where the real stakes are determined.  Three levels: #1) The actual fighting, the battle space.  #2) The assembly of Generals at HQ.  #3) The cloistered closed-door meetings where the politicians decide.

The media keeps everyone focused on #1, it’s easier – there are “sides” etc.  But the GOPe roadmap, and the eye-opening “Splitter Strategy”, was found by focusing intense sunlight upon #3.

Now…

…When the stakes are at their highest, anyone is expendable.  As a consequence no-one is not expendable.

Stunningly, Piers Morgan pens an Op-Ed in the Daily Mail today asking: ‘when are people going to begin listening to Donald Trump about Islamic Terrorism’ (link).  However, Morgan stops short of explaining why Trump’s proposals make more sense than anyone else.

For decades the Western World, and the U.S. specifically, have approached The Islamic Jihad as a problem the non-Islamic local and global community can solve. If only we can attract enough Muslim allies to join us in the ideological fight.

It doesn’t work.

The emphasis is on the wrong syllable.

It’s time for a reset.

Remember This Arizona and Utah

It was January 27th when Donald Trump gave a stark warning to Brussels Belgium, and the New York Times mocked him for it:

(Via Reuters) The most-wanted fugitive from November’s Paris attacks was arrested after a shootout with police in Brussels on Friday, the Belgian federal prosecutor’s office said.

Local media reported that Salah Abdeslam, the 26-year-old French suspect, was wounded in the operation as EU leaders met on the other side of the city to discuss Europe’s migration crisis.

Television footage showed armed security forces dragging a man with a sack on his head out of a building and into a car.

“We got him,” Belgium’s Secretary of State for Asylum and Migration, Theo Francken, said on Twitter. (more…)

“Released after an ICE error”? – Five people were killed by a man named Pablo Serrano-Vitorino.  Most of the media have refused to identify Vitorino as an illegal alien with repeat deportations.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Mo. — After a massive manhunt, Pablo Antonio Serrano-Vitorino, suspected of four Kansas City, Kan., murders and another one in New Florence, Mo., was found in Montgomery County and taken into custody early Wednesday morning.  Montgomery County is located between Columbia and St. Louis.

“Released after ICE error”  ?

Serrano-Vitorino, 40, has been charged with four counts of first degree murder in Wyandotte County for allegedly shooting four men in KCK late Monday night. The victims are Clint Harter, Austin Harter, Mike Capps and Jake Waters. They were all killed at a home in the 3000 block of South 36th Street around 11 p.m., Monday.   (more…)
