Excerpts from Reuters looking into the travel of Mohammod Youssuf Abdulazeez, as well as outlining his local Mosque and affiliates.  It would be interesting to see a complete timeline of the past 24 months relating to this specific “domestic terrorist”.

Oddly, at least initially, is the sense the foreign aspects of Abdulazeez being less enthusiastically investigated/researched, by media, than say – the Tsarnaev brothers.  My gut is telling me the Fathers’ domestic terror link has something to do with the larger Holy Land Foundation case (ie. Muslim Brotherhood in North America) … 

(Reuters) U.S. authorities believe the suspect in the fatal shootings of four Marines in Tennessee visited Jordan last year and possibly Yemen as well, two U.S. government sources said on Friday, as investigators looked for any connection to Islamist militants.

Mohammod Youssuf Abdulazeez, 24, who the FBI identified as the shooter, died on Thursday after he killed the Marines and wounded three other people in a rampage at two military facilities in Chattanooga.

Investigators believe Abdulazeez may have family in Jordan, making a visit to that country highly likely, one of the sources close to the probe said. He may have made several stops, and a visit to Yemen has not been ruled out. (more…)

Here’s one of those weird little media predictions.  Last night on CNN’s Anderson Cooper show he stated he was on assignment in New Orleans, but never clarified what exactly for.  Given the notorious history of CNN as a propaganda tool, could his assignment be for further advancement of the insufferable confederacy syndrome issue?…

New Orleans – Opponents of the proposed removal of Confederate memorials in New Orleans are using social media to organize the fight to keep them where they stand.

What started out as an effort to keep the statue of Robert E. Lee atop his column in Lee Circle, has expanded its mission to include defending all of the statues and monuments dedicated to the Confederacy.

The City Council, at Mayor Mitch Landrieu’s request, has begun a formal hearing process that could result in the removal of Lee and monuments dedicated to P.G.T. Beauregard, another Confederate general; Jefferson Davis, the president of the Confederacy; and the Battle of Liberty Place, a bloody confrontation instigated by ex-Confederates who launched a failed coup against Louisiana’s Reconstruction government. (Washington DC ) Immigration and Customs Enforcement, reacting to congressional fears of a new crime wave from illegal immigrants, has revealed that some 1,800 released by “sanctuary cities” last year were charged with 7,500 new crimes, including rape and child sex abuse.

What’s more, most, or over 1,000 of the illegals facing criminal charges, are still free, according to an ICE report to Congress.

The October 2014 report detailed the release by 276 sanctuary cities of 8,145 illegals held on criminal charges from January to August despite requests to “detain” them for ICE which would consider deporting them.

Things that make other things make sense – Oh boy, it looks like Marilyn “By-Any-Means-Necessary” Mosby has some serious issues in the background of her family and their life of crime while carrying badges.

WASHINGTON – Marilyn Mosby, the Baltimore City State’s Attorney, catapulted to national fame when she decided in early May to prosecute six police officers for the death of Freddie Gray. In her remarks, Mosby used her family of Boston police officers as a shield against critics who said she could not fairly prosecute the case.

“To the rank-and-file officers of the Baltimore City Police Department, please know that these accusations of these six officers are not an indictment on the entire force,” said Mosby. “I come from five generations of law enforcement. My father was an officer. My mother was an officer. Several of my aunts and uncles.”

Sources told me to look into Mosby’s family’s personnel records at the Boston Police Department. Two months ago, I put in Public Records Law request for personnel records for Mosby’s mother and two uncles. (more…)

The ongoing mountain of evidence continues to accumulate that Baltimore Prosecutor, Marilyn Mosby, intentionally manipulated the Freddie Gray investigation to construct a false case against the Baltimore Six officers.

Two significant issues.  #1) Mosby was denied a search warrant, and then her office went shopping for a Judge who would approve one, a legal no-no.  #2) The affidavit for the Search Warrant itself reflects the police merely detained Gray, until they discovered and illegal knife in his pocket – then he was placed under arrest. 

To the second point, remember Mosby initially proclaimed the police never had reason to arrest Freddie Gray; yet now in her own affidavit -in her own words- to a judge, it is revealed the police did have cause to arrest.

BALTIMORE – Defense attorneys for the officers charged in the arrest and death of Freddie Gray are accusing prosecutors of misconduct by “judge-shopping” to get a search warrant approved.

In the latest filing in the case, the defense attorneys cite a police memo turned over by prosecutors that indicates an April 24 application for a warrant to search the officers’ phones was rejected by a District Court judge, who found it lacked probable cause.

Three days later, an officer writes in the memo, a prosecutor called and said he or she had found a judge who had agreed to sign the warrants. (more…)

NEW YORK – New York City has reached a settlement with the family of Eric Garner for $5.9 million, almost a year after the 43-year-old died in police custody.

The family filed a notice of claim in October, the first step in filing a lawsuit against the city, asking for $75 million.

Garner was stopped on July 17 outside a convenience store for selling loose cigarettes. A video shows Garner telling the officers to leave him alone and refusing to be handcuffed. Garner is taken to the ground in what appears to be a chokehold, banned by police policy. The officer claimed it was a legal takedown maneuver known as a “seatbelt.”  (read more)

Oh goodie, Pope Francis said he interpreted Morales’ gift through the prism of Espinal’s Marxist bent and viewed it as protest art.  I wonder if he’d be similarly accepting of “piss Christ“.

(Via The Guardian) Pope Francis has said he wasn’t offended by the “communist crucifix” given to him by Bolivian president Evo Morales during his South American pilgrimage.

Morales surprised the pontiff with the unusual gift, a crucifix attached to a hammer and sickle, when Francis arrived in La Paz on Wednesday.

The crucifix was a replica of one designed by a Jesuit priest, the Reverend Luís Espinal, who was tortured and killed by Bolivian paramilitary squads in 1980. Francis prayed at the site of Espinal’s assassination upon his arrival in Bolivia. (more…)

NEW YORK – A $5 million settlement won’t satisfy the heartbroken family of Eric Garner.

A source familiar with ongoing negotiations between Controller Scott Stringer and the family of the Staten Island man killed by an NYPD cop say that his widow, Esaw Garner, turned down the hefty offer last week.

The source said the Garner family’s attorney, Jonathan Moore, is urging the family to accept the $5 million and then seek more money through a separate lawsuit against EMTs from Richmond University Medical Center.

They were captured on video failing to give Garner, 43, medical treatment — neither oxygen nor CPR — as he died at their feet July 17, 2014.

Negotiations are expected to continue until Friday, when a statute of limitations requires the family file a wrongful death lawsuit. The family has said it intends to sue the city for $75 million. (more…)

VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. – The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office responded to information given about a missing 13-year-old girl Thursday night.

The girl had been last seen on Tuesday, July 7th in Florida and was reported missing to the city’s local Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office had obtained information that the 13-year-old juvenile may be at a residence located in the 66000 Block of 48th Avenue, in Hartford Township.

It was reported that she was possibly with a male suspect. Officials conducted an investigation inside this home and found the missing 13-year-old girl. 23-year-old Aurelio Hernandez-Gomez of Chiapas, Mexico was found hiding inside the residence by law enforcement officers. (more…)
