A very interesting exchange during the White House prayer breakfast. [Video @:30] President Obama veers off prepared remarks and begins to malign Christians. Someone in the audience notices and quickly says something catching the President’s attention and interrupting his delivery.

(Transcript via Mediaite) “On Easter, I do reflect on the fact that as a Christian, I am supposed to love,” Obama said. “And I have to say that sometimes when I listen to less-than-loving expressions by Christians, I get concerned.” As the crowd began to murmur, the president backed off, saying, “But that’s a topic for another day.”

“I was about to veer off,” he explained. “I’m pulling it back.”

An amazing and inspirational story of hope, against all odds… Danielle Josey Davis had been married only seven months when a devastating motorcycle accident left her husband on life support and in a coma.

Doctors recommended letting Matt Davis die because there was a 90 percent chance he would never wake up, but Danielle told ABC News she decided it just wasn’t time yet. Then, one day, he woke up.

“I’m sure glad I married her,” Matt Davis told ABC News today, though he doesn’t remember Danielle from before the 2010 crash that caused his traumatic brain injury.

(Via The Hill) Former Hewlett-Packard chief Carly Fiorina on Thursday blasted Apple CEO Tim Cook’s opposition to Indiana’s religious freedom law as “hypocrisy.”

Fiorina, a potential 2016 GOP presidential contender, said Cook had a double standard and cited Apple’s operations in other countries with controversial laws about gays and women in an interview with The Wall Street Journal.

“When Tim Cook is upset about all the places that he does business because of the way they treat gays and women, he needs to withdraw from 90% of the markets that he’s in, including China and Saudi Arabia,” Fiorina argued. “But I don’t hear him being upset about that.”

Fiorina said his stance exposed a “level of hypocrisy here that is really unfortunate.”
She added that Indiana’s Religious Freedom Restoration Act contained “nothing objectionable” and that Cook’s criticism stemmed from “narrow special interests” rather than reality. (more…)

It should be noted Al-Shabaab -which is also known as AQNA (al-Qaeda in North Africa)- has previously been conclusively identified as maintaining training bases in Mexico (Report from 2011).  It is the same group responsible for the Kenya Mall attacks and has threatened the Mall of America. 

GARISSA, Kenya — Al-Shabaab gunmen rampaged through a university in northeastern Kenya at dawn Thursday, killing 147 people in the group’s deadliest attack in the East African country. Four militants were slain by security forces to end the siege just after dusk.

The masked attackers armed with AK-47s singled out non-Muslim students at Garissa University College and then gunned them down without mercy, survivors said. Others ran for their lives with bullets whistling through the air.

The gunmen had strapped themselves with explosives, Interior Minister Joseph Nkaissery said. When Kenyan officers shot at the four, the attackers exploded “like bombs” and shrapnel from the explosions injured officers, he said. (more…)

When asked by local press the hypothetical question of whether or not they’d prefer to have their family owned business, Memories Pizza, cater a gay wedding, the owner said no citing their own religious beliefs as the reason. They have never been asked to cater a wedding. Local media used their statements to frame a story of bigotry.

The Leftists went on full attack against the family and their pizza business. Death threats, on-line attacks, inbound phone calls filled with hate. With media camped out on their doorstep the little pizza shop was unable to do business and closed.

All of that for having an opinion that is rooted in faith and answering a hypothetical question asked by a news reporter who had questionable motives to begin with. A Blaze TV producer set up a GoFundMe account to assist them through the financial impacts.

The story of Anthony Stokes didn’t start the day he died after crashing a stolen car into a pedestrian and sign post.

Nor did his story start moments earlier when he kicked down the door of an elderly Roswell Georgia woman and shot at her as she sat on the couch during his home invasion.

The public story of Anthony Stokes actually began a few years prior, in 2013, when he was diagnosed with an enlarged heart, a terminal condition if he did not receive a heart transplant.

He became a public story because Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston informed his family he would not be a candidate for transplant because of his past behavior:

“the decision was made that Anthony is currently not a transplant candidate due to having a history of non-compliance, which is one of our center’s contraindications to listing for heart transplant.”

“Non-compliance” a relatively disingenuous term without further definition; and in the case of Anthony Stokes a definition fraught with considerations for the most politically correct delivery.

The refusal of the hospital to place Stokes on the transplant list drew the ire of his family, who, quickly enlisted the aid of the grievance marketers within the media.

“They just don’t want to give him a chance,” Anthony’s mother, Melencia Hamilton, told Channel 2.

UPDATE: The moonbattery has metastasized into a supernova of hatred. The intolerant leftists have shut down the mom and pop pizzeria with phone attacks and an on-line onslaught similar to Chick-Fil-A in 2012. Only this time the business is not a corporation it’s a family restaurant without the corporate resources.

A GoFundMe Fundraising Account has been set up to assist the “Memories Pizza” owners offset the damage to their business.
