~ AGAIN, The Social Justice Crowd is Trying To Win By Losing ~

Earlier this week the DOJ lost an appeal to lift an injunction put in place by Judge Andrew Hanen, which blocks execution of President Obama’s Immigration Executive Action.  The injunction remains in place.
The DOJ had two options after their loss in the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.
♦ They could request a summary review by the U.S. Supreme Court (the 5th CCA district review SCOTUS justice is Antonin Scalia).  Or, ♦ they could ask for the entire panel of the 5th CCA to seat and hear full oral arguments.   The DOJ has chosen the latter.

The Hill is reporting the 5th Circuit has expedited the request and will hear oral arguments on July 10th, (written arguments previously filed with original judicial appeal).
Meanwhile, the DOJ will have to move forward on defending the merits of the underlying case which stems from a lawsuit filed by Texas, and joined by 26 other states, claiming the Obama Executive Action is an unconstitutional overreach of power, and therefore illegal.

Ann Coulter has a new book coming out, “Adios America“.  Essentially a full throated point of advocacy outlining the inherent danger of illegal immigration.  As part of her pre-release publicity tour Ms. Coulter is making media rounds to advocate her positions for the arguments within it.
With that in mind – she walks into the lions den of amnesty support in an interview with Jorge Ramos. (The full interview will air on Fusion TV tomorrow):

“I have a little tip. If you don’t want to be killed by ISIS, don’t go to Syria. If you don’t want to be killed by a Mexican, there’s nothing I can tell you,” Coulter said in an interview Tuesday with Fusion’s Jorge Ramos. (link)

Now it might seem, at least initially, that most conservatives would align with the presented arguments of Ms. Coulter as she opines about the inherent danger caused by the borderless global leftists and their dangerous immigration policies.
However, her latest position, while indeed an argument I personally would agree with, highlights something even more dangerous to our Republic and provides an example of something almost NO-ONE pays attention to. Ms. Coulter is like an arsonist amid the fire department. (more…)

Texas Judge Hanen previously blocked Obama’s unconstitutional “Executive Action on immigration” which expanded deferred deportation and granted employment status for illegal aliens.  The DOJ appealed the injunction to the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. Today Hanen’s injunction was upheld by the appellate court, the DOJ lost.

(Via FOX) Two out of the three judges voted Tuesday to deny the government’s request, as the underlying case is argued.  The majority opinion reasoned that lifting the temporary hold — known in judicial parlance as a “stay” — could cause serious problems for states should they ultimately win their challenge. The battle between the two Kentucky Republicans spilled over on the Senate floor, with Paul using procedural tactics to force the chamber into an early Saturday vote. He then used his leverage to kill off McConnell’s repeated attempts to reauthorize the expiring National Security Agency (NSA) programs — first for two months, then for eight days, then for five, then three, then two. (CNSNews.com) – The Trans-Pacific Partnership that President Barack Obama is negotiating with 11 other nations seeks to eliminate both tariff and nontariff trade barriers with these countries, according to the Congressional Research Service. One of those countries is Vietnam, which the State Department says maintains a Communist regime.
In 2014, the U.S. ran a $24,858,700,000 trade deficit with Vietnam, according to U.S. government trade data published by the Census Bureau. U.S. producers sold $5,724,900,000 in goods to purchasers in Vietnam. At the same time, producers in Vietnam sold $30,583,600,000 in goods to purchasers in the United States.
Documents related to the TPP are currently classified. Members of Congress can only review them in a secured room. But a report published in March by the Congressional Research Service—“The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) Negotiations and Issues for Congress”–describes the basic purpose of the deal the administration is seeking. We previously exposed Sheppard’s affiliation with radical Islamic terrorists, and his affinity for, and expressions of, violence.
Apparently Eric Sheppard Jr. is still on the loose, and now he’s making terrorist threats against a local school community while thumbing his nose toward law enforcement who are making feeble, if any, efforts to capture him.

“Many still question the possibility of my surrendering to the people who call themselves ‘authorities’”. “To give you a simple answer, No. I will not turn myself over to any white man”.
Sheppard has contacted local Georgia media to state his intentions to cause a violent confrontation at Lownde’s High School graduation ceremonies and has stated he will “annihilate” anyone who comes after him.

Against the backdrop of her initial ‘Direct Action’ charges coming under scrutiny from numerous legal analysts and scholars, a defiant State Attorney Marilyn Mosby took her demand for charges to a grand jury.   Here is the result:

Notes: Officers Brian Rice, Edward Nero and Garrett Miller (bicycle patrol) no longer charged with “False Imprisonment”. This is obviously the result of the knife found on Freddie Gray being illegal, unlike Mosby’s initial claims. However, Mosby modified the GJ request and they are now charged with “reckless endangerment”. She also added “misconduct in office” charges to each of the accused. (more…)

A school puts up posters promoting abstinence and warning young ladies to protect their virtue and “character” by not engaging in sex on prom night.  Planned Parenthood calls the advocacy program “despicable“, and encourages teen girls to dismiss the message.
Obviously the business model of Planned Parenthood has a vested interest in teen pregnancies.

Seventeen Magazine agrees with Planned Parenthood and supports all the girls having sex.

MISSISSIPPI – A manhunt is under way after a Hancock County Sheriff’s Department deputy was saved by his dog from an ambush attack by three men.
The deputy, Todd Frazier, was beaten and cut with a box cutter in Pearlington on Monday, Sheriff Ricky Adam said. If it wasn’t for his K9 partner, a black Belgian Malinois named Lucas, they might have succeeded.
“They told him they were going to slit his throat, and they were dragging him toward the woods,” Chief Deputy Don Bass said, adding that authorities believe the attackers meant to drag Frazier into the woods, kill him, and dump his body.. (more…)
