Something was really fishy.. she confirmed my home address that she got off my drivers license and then put that all into her computer.
She then wanted to see my checks from another bank so she could use that account number.. (use it for what? she said that)
All I was doing was handing her cash to make a payment and all this happened, it was alarming, this woman was taking everything she could get her hands on about me, entering it into her computer all because I was handing her cash to make a car payment?
I asked for my cash back and wrote a check, she said this was all because I’m paying cash she said.
NONE of this went on last month, this was all new.
Luckily, because I’m following all this, I was aware that because of this trade war in combination with these crack downs in Canada, I could see that things had changed here and I became on high alert very early in this transaction and stopped playing.
But please be aware if you have any business going on with Canada, things have changed in how they are treating us.
