Excuse me that it’s so long. But it had to be to cover that much.
Well, I stopped posting updates for several reasons.
First, the situation became somewhat unchanging and predictable. Second, the wave of Jew hatred and Israel hatred made it harder for me to interact with people. I take it personally, especially when it comes from the right, but really from anyone.
I also had some disappointments with Trump, and I wanted to respect this platform and the people who have followed me for a long time. I was hoping to see Trump draw some conclusions and make some changes.
Anyway, I want to give you an overview from the Israeli point of view, which I strongly believe reflects the reality on the ground.
Gaza
If you followed me before, you will notice that what is happening is very close to what I said would happen. It is one of the reasons I stopped reporting.
Israel got the hostages home, which was remarkable. There was a cost, of course, but in my view the cost was worth it and was lower than many expected.
Israel is now sitting on about 65% of Gaza. Those areas are being cleared of tunnels, and it is a seemingly never-ending project. Hamas, meanwhile, has taken ironclad control over much of the remaining territory and is growing, recruiting, training, and probably rearming.
Israel is carrying out targeted assassinations almost daily. Hamas is now living in the world it created—constantly hunted and attacked.
What is not reported enough, in my opinion, is how dramatically Israel has improved its intelligence operations compared with the failures before October 7. These targeted assassinations require extensive intelligence and people on the ground. Almost every day we hear about brigade commanders or people who participated in the October 7 attack being eliminated, mainly from the air. Over 3,500 of the participants of 10/7 are already dead. Some in Israel, some in the war and some are hunted because they are on the deadly “Black List”.
Now to the bad part.
The deal Trump made, with the help of Qatar and Turkey, was designed in a way that allowed Hamas to survive. Qatar and Turkey, which host Hamas figures, wanted to preserve Hamas, and so far that has worked.
Israel agreed because we got the hostages back. But almost no one in Israel is prepared to accept Hamas and other terrorist organizations remaining in Gaza and threatening us after what happened.
The main stumbling block is disarmament.
Kushner actually met with Hamas, which angered many people in Israel, and has been telling Trump that “Hamas agreed to disarm”. But people in the Middle East are deeply skeptical of that. Hamas may try to hand over some weapons while storing others in Gaza under Palestinian control, or use some other form of manipulation.
When they say “yes,” Israelis assume that there is another interpretation behind it. I told you about a year ago that, ideologically, disarming goes against the very nature of Hamas. So the question is not simply whether they will disarm, but what kind of manipulation they may propose.
Maybe Hamas will suddenly become “the police” and therefore claim that it needs weapons.
Recently, Israel captured, in a supper brave operation, a key Hamas figure in Gaza who is likely to know a great deal about what was planned and how it was organized.
So in Israel, many people are simply waiting for the moment when Trump gives Israel the green light to finish the job.
We are gritting our teeth while watching videos coming out of Gaza showing Hamas dominating the streets, while people shout things such as “Kill the Jews” and “October 7 will happen again.”
I have said before that we are dealing with generations of indoctrination and a Nazi-like mentality. I am reminded that the deradicalization of Germany and Japan after World War II came only after complete military defeat.
Vice President Vance has said that “every war ends with a deal.” I disagree with that idea. Wars can also end through the complete defeat and surrender of one side.
In my view, the idea that every conflict must end with a negotiated compromise became deeply rooted in liberal and progressive thinking and also influenced parts of the upper levels of the IDF. If you want to understand why some Israeli wars have ended without what many Israelis consider a decisive victory, this is an important part of the problem.
It is also connected to a larger subject I am working on: what I call the Israeli “Deep State” and the way language and definitions can be manipulated—for example, redefining “victory” as “a reasonable deal.”
I am preparing a much larger piece on the Deep State in Israel. It is a long-term project of mine.
So regarding Gaza, many Israelis are frustrated when we hear statements from the United States about “peace in Gaza,” that Hamas “agreed to disarm,” a “great real estate project in Gaza,” or an “international peace force.”
We watch the videos from Gaza. You can see some on my Rumble channel. They are not going to make peace. Peace will only come after defeat. Like it was with Germany and Japan.
Israel has decades of experience with international peacekeeping forces, and we do not trust them. They often end up shielding terrorist organizations rather than stopping them.
In Lebanon, for example, Hezbollah operated close to UN positions, intentionally. Tunnels and military infrastructure were built nearby, including infrastructure designed for the kind of attack that could have produced an October 7-style invasion of northern Israel.
So from the Israeli perspective, this entire arrangement risks becoming a shield for Hamas. Increasingly, some Israelis feel that the United States itself is providing that shield.
When Kushner talks directly to Hamas, Israelis see that as legitimizing the organization and strengthening its ability to manipulate the diplomatic process.
Lebanon
Israelis feel that American pressure is limiting Israel’s ability to act against Hezbollah.
A large percentage of the Lebanese military is Shiite, and we question how willing or able the Lebanese army would be to confront Hezbollah seriously. I know they can’t.
Lebanon has repeatedly told the United States that it can disarm Hezbollah, or that it will try, or that it simply needs more American support to do so.
Meanwhile, Israel has been pressured by the United States to limit attacks in Beirut, which is one of Hezbollah’s main centers of power.
So Israel is trying to apply the lessons of October 7 while operating under American restrictions.
One of those lessons is that Israel believes it must maintain buffer zones on enemy territory to prevent another October 7-type attack. Fences alone were not enough. Another lesson is that terror organizations grow when you are not actively attacking them. As was with Hamas in Gaza.
In Lebanon, Israel discovered extensive Hezbollah infrastructure inside villages and even inside private homes.
Israel is therefore creating a defensive zone along the border designed to prevent Hezbollah fighters from approaching Israeli communities with shoulder-fired weapons, anti-tank missiles, and direct-fire weapons.
Another problem is fiber-optic-controlled drones.
This is becoming an international military problem. Drones that depend on GPS are much easier to disrupt electronically. Fiber-optic drones are much harder to interfere with.
Eventually, I believe Israel will develop better solutions, but I do not know when. A great deal of work is being done in this area. Once we resolve it the West will gain.
Hezbollah was hit extremely hard. It is now a shadow of what it once was.
The IDF continues discovering and taking control of strategic underground tunnels, headquarters, and enormous fortified structures built with Iranian money and technology.
We are continuing to discover the depth of the planning and the scale of the investment.
Israel was extremely fortunate that Hezbollah did not join Hamas on October 7. The Iranian plan was Hamas/Hezbollah/Houthis/Iraqi Militia/West Bank/Israeli Arabs, all attacking together.
So much of Hezbollah’s future depends on what happens with Iran.
A replaced regime in Iran would be disastrous for Hezbollah. Hezbollah became accustomed to Iranian money, weapons, and salaries. A Hezbollah salary is a few times higher than a Lebanese army salary.
At the same time, Israel does not want to send ground forces all the way to Beirut. It is doubtful that doing so would necessarily produce the desired result.
So, for now, the Israeli-American approach has been to strengthen the Lebanese military and make it capable of confronting Hezbollah.
I personally do not believe Hezbollah will truly disarm unless Iran is no longer able to support it, Israel is allowed to strike Hezbollah freely in Beirut, and the Lebanese military removes elements that are loyal to Hezbollah.
There is also discussion in Lebanon about integrating Hezbollah terrorists into the Lebanese military as a way of dismantling Hezbollah as a separate organization.
I do not think that can work. Again, Hezbollah’s armed identity is central to its existence. Its fighters are also accustomed to better salaries, organization, and military experience than much of the regular Lebanese army.
The discussion inside Hezbollah appears to be much more about survival than about disarmament.
So we will see where this goes.
The IDF gave the Lebanese military two areas to clear. They failed to do it, and the IDF eventually had to clear those areas itself. It was an experiment that they failed.
Iran
Iran is now largely in Trump’s hands.
It is a difficult situation.
Trump believed he could negotiate a winning deal. I do not think he initially understood how ideological and uncompromising the Iranian regime can be. Now, I believe he understands it better.
Again, we return to the problem of making agreements with jihadist movements. Their thinking is dominated by ideological and expansionist goals that have been reinforced for decades.
The interesting development is that Netanyahu appears to be strongly interested in regime change in Iran, and I believe Trump may now be moving closer to that position, they may be working together now.
The question is whether the Iranian opposition is being supported and armed sufficiently, and whether the regime can be weakened enough for internal resistance to succeed.
At the moment, Trump is using an approach that Israelis have tried before: essentially saying, “Do not attack us, because if you do, we will hit you much harder.”
Historically, Israel has had limited success with that kind of deterrence against jihadist organizations because they are often willing to absorb enormous losses in people and infrastructure.
Israel
Netanyahu faces a major political test.
In my view, replacing or fundamentally weakening the Iranian regime would dramatically strengthen his political position before the coming Israeli elections. Without such a development, the political situation remains much more open.
Netanyahu has a history of surviving political situations that appeared impossible.
We shall see.
Israel is heading toward critical elections.
At the center of the political struggle is a very old disagreement about what kind of country Israel should be.
On one side are those who emphasize Israel as a distinctly Jewish nation while maintaining equal individual rights. On the other are those who want Israel to become more like other Western liberal democracies, with Jewish identity playing a smaller role in the state.
I also describe part of this struggle as a conflict between the Israeli right and what I call Israel’s “Deep State”—parts of the media, Supreme Court, Attorney General’s office, prosecution, left-wing political establishment, and elements within the senior levels of the IDF and security establishment.
But underneath today’s politics, I believe there is an even older spiritual struggle.
There has always been tension in Jewish history between those who wanted to preserve a unique Jewish identity and those who wanted to assimilate into the dominant culture around them.
We see that struggle in the Bible: at Mount Sinai and the Golden Calf, during the Babylonian period, and later under Roman rule.
During the Babylonian period, some Jews sought to integrate into Babylonian society while others fought to preserve Jewish identity. The period ended with the destruction of the First Temple and mass exile.
Under Roman rule, there were again deep divisions within Jewish society between those who resisted Roman domination and those who adapted themselves to the Roman world. The internal hatred and divisions of that period are remembered in Jewish tradition alongside the destruction of the Second Temple, exile, and enormous loss of life during the wars with Rome.
It is believed that the exiles and destruction of the temples were God’s punishment for the internal hate and division.
In many ways, I believe we are still fighting the same ancient spiritual battle: between those who want Israel to remain connected to God, Jewish history, and Jewish identity, and those who want Israel to become a nation like every other nation.

Additional: About Iran. I forgot to mention the “economy war”. I said it before and I will repeat it. The only significant economy war must deny the armed forces and mainly the Revolutionary Guard and the Basije (armed civilians that suppress the opposition) their salaries. The salaries come from oil sales, taxes, and printing cash. When the IDF clobbered Hezbollah you could literally see their money bills flying after we bombed their banks and killed their finance officials.
And even then it’s not enough. Because jihadists will not surrender on economy background. Look at Gaza. I see videos of how they state their intention to keep fighting us despite losing family and property and living in tents and rubble.
So the economy war is only good to the degree that it make enough people agree to arm and fight and enough people to change sides. But they have a million armed people which is a challenge.
But the Mossad is smart and we shall see.
For now, Israel is gaining because they have less money to give our enemies and they are weakened themselves. And the US is gaining because the competitors of the US in the oil industry (Gulf States) are getting messed up and the US can also charge higher prices for its oil.
There is also another subject that is the Saudis. The Houthis are really messing them up badly and nobody is saying it but they could actually conquer Saudi Arabia. For Israel it presents an opportunity to help them for peace. But I am sorry, I think they were over-estimated. When they told Trump they will invest a trillion dollars in the American economy I knew they lie. Then in the war with Iran they played double- face. They did a treaty with Turkey and Pakistan, a radical Sunni alliance rather than get closer to the US and the west. And Turkey and Pakistan are not helping them now. They also appear to be incompetent military and cowards. So I am not a part of the fans of the Saudi Prince who had a critic sawed to pieces in their Turkish embassy.

Another nagging thought: Diesel fuel in the US is over $7 and climbing. Interest rates are going up. The oil companies HAVE to be making a killing. I realize it takes a lot of fuel to maintain the military in action. A non-nuclear Iran and the necessary military action is worth the sacrifice, but I think we may pay dearly in the mid-terms. Especially since a lot of folks are upset with prices and we are unable to secure our elections from fraud. I am willing to be a suprised pessimist.
From what I see in the Bible, Israel will NEVER be a nation like every other nation.
Concerning Gaza, common sense cannot understand why Israel gave it up in the first place. We see the outcome, would resistance to the West have caused irreparable harm to Israel’s interests?
I hate to say this, but the Bible speaks of a time of “Jacob’s Trouble”. Matthew 24:15-22 and others. This time of trouble will eclipse the Holocaust. That is one of the reasons Israel’s true Messiah will return to the nation again and the rule of the Lord will go forth from Jerusalem. Mankind is finally going to discover that without the physical intervention of God, man would destroy himself.

Irving Berlin was born in Russia in 1888.
At just five years old, he and his family, immigrated to New York while fleeing the persecution of the Jewish community. There, he first worked as a street singer before soon finding employment as a singing waiter as a teenager.
At just 19, he published his first song, titled Marie from Sunny Italy.
Two years later, Berlin joined the publishing company Waterson & Snyder as a lyricist.

Irving Berlin became a naturalized citizen in 1916, served in World War I, and wrote his musical, Yip! Yip! Yaphank! as a fundraiser for the U.S. Army.
In 1914. Berlin became a charter member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers.
Five years later, he took full control of his copyrights after launching the Irving Berlin Music Corporation.
In all, Berlin composed more than 1,500 songs for every mood and every occasion while also writing for dozens of musicals and films.
Berlin’s most notable works on the silver screen include Easter Parade and Holiday Inn, featuring Bing Crosby singing White Christmas.

In Australia if you find yourself behind one of the “road trains” on a two lane road you’re going to require lots of time and a lot of highway clear of oncoming traffic to attempt to pass the train. Experienced this on the A1 and A87 traveling north of Adelaide in South Australia back in the 1990’s. Wonder if those highways have been improved or not in the intervening years.

It musta been trade school that showed a video of triple’s in action on the roads & in the wind… a roller coaster would be a tame ride vs a triple in the wind. That was back when all drivers were professionals not someone who just jumped off the h1b plane or walked across the border. <shudder>
The subject was probably the adjustments to the connections between the trailers to dampen that effect if poorly adjusted. I never went into fixing semi’s…. except for my brothers rigs a time or 2, he did not stay in the owner / operator business very long. I think he still has one to move his carnival games around the country tho.
Not sure when it changed, but…..back when, trucks crossed the border in Nogales with a Mexican driver, and an American driver took over for travel in the US.
Now, we get behind trailers where we live close to the border, and often they are off the road on the right and then into the next lane on their left.
I assume they are texting – in some foreign language. Nerve wracking and infuriating at the same time.
These aren’t trucks crossing the border they are already in the US and trucking companies are putting illegals in them right here inside the US.
Seems to me triple bottoms would be a nightmare for truckers having to back up and re-hook trailers every-time they load or unload. I don’t know if the extra payload would be worth the time as they usually get paid by the mile. You aren’t going anywhere jockeying trailers around,
I am guessing that if they are running a double or a triple that wherever the dropoff is that they are using a <Spotter truck>, it is a short truck that is made for moving around trailers to wherever they need to go.. before or after unloading.
I worked at a factory that you pretty much could only dock by jack knifing the truck with the way their terminal was so close to a ramp that led to the street.
They did not have a spotter, but those guys were probably regulars for their pickup/dropoffs as they could nail the docking with little effort, I doubt our current crop of drivers could do the same.
Good thing that factory moved to MX…. and then to chy na a year after it got to MX.
I happened to be looking on Gmaps & saw that it has been torn down… even the powerhouse, they generated their OWN electricity since about the 1950’s.
EPA was on them for seepage as they made PC board’s there as well & I am sure they had plenty of “accidents” of chemicals for etching them spill over the years.

My father used to pull doubles (56′) on the NYS Thruway (I-90) for Red St*r Express. He has a photo of a triple Red St*r triple with 56 ft. trailers. Red St*r tried them, but stopped because the end trailer moved around too much in windy conditions.

COMMENTARY FOR ROMANS 8
The freedom of believers from condemnation. (1-9) Their privileges as being the children of God. (10-17) Their hopeful prospects under tribulations. (18-25) Their assistance from the Spirit in prayer. (26,27) Their interest in the love of God. (28-31) Their final triumph, through Christ. (32-39)
1-9 Believers may be chastened of the Lord, but will not be condemned with the world. By their union with Christ through faith, they are thus secured. What is the principle of their walk; the flesh or the Spirit, the old or the new nature, corruption or grace? For which of these do we make provision, by which are we governed? The unrenewed will is unable to keep any commandment fully. And the law, besides outward duties, requires inward obedience. God showed abhorrence of sin by the sufferings of his Son in the flesh, that the believer’s person might be pardoned and justified. Thus satisfaction was made to Divine justice, and the way of salvation opened for the sinner. By the Spirit the law of love is written upon the heart, and though the righteousness of the law is not fulfilled by us, yet, blessed be God, it is fulfilled in us; there is that in all true believers, which answers the intention of the law. The favour of God, the welfare of the soul, the concerns of eternity, are the things of the Spirit, which those that are after the Spirit do mind. Which way do our thoughts move with most pleasure? Which way go our plans and contrivances? Are we most wise for the world, or for our souls? Those that live in pleasure are dead, #1Ti 5:6|. A sanctified soul is a living soul; and that life is peace. The carnal mind is not only an enemy to God, but enmity itself. The carnal man may, by the power of Divine grace, be made subject to the law of God, but the carnal mind never can; that must be broken and driven out. We may know our real state and character by inquiring whether we have the Spirit of God and Christ, or not, ver. 9. Ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit. Having the Spirit of Christ, means having a turn of mind in some degree like the mind that was in Christ Jesus, and is to be shown by a life and conversation suitable to his precepts and example.
10-17 If the Spirit be in us, Christ is in us. He dwells in the heart by faith. Grace in the soul is its new nature; the soul is alive to God, and has begun its holy happiness which shall endure for ever. The righteousness of Christ imputed, secures the soul, the better part, from death. From hence we see how much it is our duty to walk, not after the flesh, but after the Spirit…
18-25 The sufferings of the saints strike no deeper than the things of time, last no longer than the present time, are light afflictions, and but for a moment. How vastly different are the sentence of the word and the sentiment of the world, concerning the sufferings of this present time! Indeed the whole creation seems to wait with earnest expectation for the period when the children of God shall be manifested in the glory prepared for them…
26,27 Though the infirmities of Christians are many and great, so that they would be overpowered if left to themselves, yet the Holy Spirit supports them. The Spirit, as an enlightening Spirit, teaches us what to pray for; as a sanctifying Spirit, works and stirs up praying graces; as a comforting Spirit, silences our fears, and helps us over all discouragements. The Holy Spirit is the spring of all desires toward God, which are often more than words can utter. The Spirit who searches the hearts, can perceive the mind and will of the spirit, the renewed mind, and advocates his cause. The Spirit makes intercession to God, and the enemy prevails not.
28-31 That is good for the saints which does their souls good. Every providence tends to the spiritual good of those that love God; in breaking them off from sin, bringing them nearer to God, weaning them from the world, and fitting them for heaven. When the saints act out of character, corrections will be employed to bring them back again. And here is the order of the causes of our salvation, a golden chain, one which cannot be broken…
32-39 All things whatever, in heaven and earth, are not so great a display of God’s free love, as the gift of his coequal Son to be the atonement on the cross for the sin of man; and all the rest follows upon union with him, and interest in him. All things, all which can be the causes or means of any real good to the faithful Christian. He that has prepared a crown and a kingdom for us, will give us what we need in the way to it…
Whatever believers may be separated from, enough remains. None can take Christ from the believer: none can take the believer from Him; and that is enough. All other hazards signify nothing. Alas, poor sinners! though you abound with the possessions of this world, what vain things are they! Can you say of any of them, Who shall separate us? You may be removed from pleasant dwellings, and friends, and estates. You may even live to see and seek your parting. At last you must part, for you must die. Then farewell, all this world accounts most valuable. WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul.
