President Trump has revoked the special white house access privileges of CNN, MSNow and Politico. Those outlets and all of the other self-centered media allies who make everything about themselves, have promised to file lawsuits.
The media claim that President Trump has removed their First Amendment rights by revoking their special White House access cards, seats on Airforce One and privilege tents on the white house grounds. Apparently, if the media don’t get the luxuries of influence they claim their rights are removed – or something equally stupid.
JD Vance is asked about it as he departs Joint Base Andrews for a campaign rally in North Carolina.
.

This is from some of those who arguably enabled what may have amounted to an information shield around the last administration apparently concealing certain critical realities as far as operation and functionality — including at the White House press corps level and its purported function and purpose? With that in mind, how would they have any credibility left to create narratives and attempt outrage at this point?
Just go to any browser on your computer or cell phone “news sites” aka Yahoo, Google, etc. and you will see the lies that they spout. Then think about the millions of American sheep who devour this BS everyday. Minute by minute sound bytes. Nanobyte upon nanobyte. Brainwashed to the point that they have no clue what the truth is and they don’t care cuz…DIESEL PRICES ARE
UNAFFORDABLE AND IT’S TRUMPS FAULT!
Those that were “removed” don’t do journalism, they do weaponized political psyops on the weak, stupid and uninformed.
The hypocrisy of the Left crying about high diesel prices when they did all they could to destroy “fossil fuel” energies is just one
type of insanity that any sane breathing American can understand but unfortunately there are fewer and fewer of them thanks to PUBLIC EDUCATION…..progressing to HAWVARD and the Ivy leagues commie communes.
As the former editor of my school paper, and after 2 years of REAL Journalism classes, it is my opinion that the 1st Amendment applies to freedom of SPEECH and WRITING.
I do not believe that the Founders intended it to extend to the privilege of being present whenever and wherever desired.
Neither do I think they meant it to grant the right to be privy to all conversations, meetings, and information.
The press (of which very few are journalists), now consider themselves to be privileged creatures entitled to do or say whatever suits their purposes whenever and wherever they choose – and to be as disrespectful, callous, and rude as they want.
They feel they have the immediate “right” to ALL information, both public and private, and they have no qualms aiding our country’s enemies and endangering those who serve to protect.
I had a friend who was a well-known television anchorman. He retired after years of growing more and more disgusted with what had happened to his profession.
In short, the “news” has become the “Propaganda Paparazzi.”
See how Vance caught himself just in time before he repeated the BS about “No Tax on Social Security”?
He knows that dog won’t hunt anymore.
I never thought that DJT would be able to keep that promise, because it’s beyond the power of a President to do so, so I wasn’t surprised when it didn’t come to pass.
But I AM disappointed that we’ve been told over and over that it DID happen, when it most certainly has not.
Get over it. You know PDJT did what he could. And it does help many seniors albeit not all of them. But people like you just have to gripe. Be grateful for what the good Lord has given you no matter how little you deem it to be.
Bless your heart. You really don’t understand the importance of a candidate being honest and transparent on issues that are important to his core voting base, do you?
I’m APPLAUDING Vance for not repeating false claims, not criticizing DJT for being unable to overcome the obstacles created by our corrupt Congess.
Really? And maybe I am pissed to being a social security recipient, but I am not going to throw this man overboard with everything else he has done.
Applauding Vance for not repeating false claims? No, no one ever does that in government. Maybe you ought to invest in everything President Trump has said that has come true…..
Now, will I get 12 upvotes for this?
There was a significant $6000 ($12,000 for married filing jointly) senior tax deduction which in most cases wiped out the amount of tax that social security would have required. It had an income phase out around $150,000 for single filers
It’s true for a very large number of Seniors, but sure… the statement is oversimplified.
Under recent legislative changes from the One Big Beautiful Bill Act,
approximately 88% to 90% of Social Security beneficiaries will not pay federal income taxes on their benefits.
Source: Social Security Administration
So about 88 to 90% true.
What percentage of SS beneficiaries already fell under the threshold to have their benefits taxed PRIOR to the BBB?
My guess is that it was close to 88% to 90%, meaning that I suspect that no real “gain” resulted from the so-called “End to the Taxation of Social Security Benefits”
Since you prefer to give us your insights as a basis for your argument, I did your homework for you:
Before the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA), approximately 36% of seniors aged 65 and older paid federal income tax on a portion of their Social Security benefits. Now that the new senior deduction has kicked in, that number has dropped significantly, leaving only 12% of retirees paying tax on their benefits. [1]

Well it’s not as bad as you say but he was unable to get it eliminated heres what it did do:
During the 2024 campaign, Trump promised “no tax on Social Security.” The major 2025 tax-and-spending law (often called the One Big Beautiful Bill Act / OBBBA) did not deliver a direct exemption of Social Security benefits from income tax.Instead, it created a temporary additional deduction for seniors:
Bottom line
No permanent or structural change was made to the taxation of Social Security benefits. The underlying rules from the 1980s/1990s still apply. The main recent effect is an extra temporary tax deduction for people 65+, which provides meaningful relief for many (but not all) Social Security recipients by lowering their overall taxable income.
The solution is obvious. Do what Roosevelt did.
No presso office, no daily access.Take away all of their access.
Access is by invitation when two or three are invited with the requirement that the visit is “SECRET.” They come to the White House and can sit with the president for a couple of houses and ask current even questions “Off the record.” Then they can write up their report of talks with a Top white house official source.
No cameras, we are not here to provide you media content.
They know that the interview was recorded by the White House (Not them they can only take notes.)_
If they report fiction, they never come back and will never have another source take their calls.
The rest of the time you dig for a story and the rest of the FEDGOV knows to keep their mouth shut and not take calls.
TRUMP TV has just launched this evening. There are two channels that I can see on the same page. Channel 45 and Channel 47.

If they reported THE TRUTH it wouldn’t even be an issue.
Maybe if CNN told the truth it wouldn’t be a problem
I watched Jesse Watters on Fox News tonight to see if the Fox bosses had muzzled Jesse. Yes, if you watched Fox tonight you would not know anything about Fox joining the fake news boycott.
Andrea Widburg had a great article on this:
Trump’s valid take on kicking ‘fake news’ out of the White House. The president is not targeting unfavorable coverage; he’s targeting coverage that has so consistently erred that it’s effectively an act of war.

Revoke all their passes. Access to the Whitehouse is a privilege not a right.
It’s falls under the control of the sitting President.
Wonder where a number of leaks come from? Consider the Whitehouse Staff. How many have been there since who knows when? And how many are partisan hacks?
Clean out the Whitehouse Staff and close the damn press room.
Why is he just dumb or lying. We know why gas/diesel prices are high and Iran has little effect. It’s all on futures manipulation, control and money! He wants the states to drop taxes, good luck in blue ones. How bout the fed rolls back taxes first?
Are gas prices high because of the war in Iran or because of the traders on the markets?
