The headline is the reality of the thing.
Oil and gas sales from Iran are under international sanction and not supposed to be taking place. However, oil and gas sales from Iran -violating the sanctions- have been taking place.
CENTCOM is announcing that the U.S. military will now ensure the oil and gas from Iran doesn’t move.
The U.S. will physically enforce the pre-existing global sanctions. A blockade begins tomorrow morning.
TAMPA, Fla. — U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces will begin implementing a blockade of all maritime traffic entering and exiting Iranian ports on April 13 at 10 a.m. ET, in accordance with the President’s proclamation.
The blockade will be enforced impartially against vessels of all nations entering or departing Iranian ports and coastal areas, including all Iranian ports on the Arabian Gulf and Gulf of Oman. CENTCOM forces will not impede freedom of navigation for vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz to and from non-Iranian ports.
Additional information will be provided to commercial mariners through a formal notice prior to the start of the blockade.
All mariners are advised to monitor Notice to Mariners broadcasts and contact U.S. naval forces on bridge-to-bridge channel 16 when operating in the Gulf of Oman and Strait of Hormuz approaches. (SOURCE)
Oil and gas from Kuwait will be allowed transit and passage. Oil and gas from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Qatar will also transit without issue. However, oil or gas from Iran will be blocked. China takes the biggest hit, again.
The target now is to cut off the Iranian money supply.
This blockade is happening against the little discussed backdrop of Dubai (UAE) targeting Iranian money changers.
DUBAI – The arrest of dozens of IRGC-linked money changers in the United Arab Emirates is one of the most serious blows yet to Tehran’s sanctions-evasion network, laying bare how heavily the Islamic Republic has depended on Dubai as an economic lifeline.
Sources familiar with the matter told Iran International that UAE authorities detained dozens of money changers tied to financial entities linked to Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, shut down associated companies and closed their offices.
The crackdown follows days of mounting regional tensions and comes after other measures targeting Iranian nationals, including visa revocations and tighter travel restrictions through Dubai.
For years, Dubai has served as Iran’s main offshore financial artery, where oil proceeds, petrochemical revenues and rial conversions were turned into dollars, dirhams and euros beyond the reach of the country’s battered domestic banking system.
“This is going to be a real problem for Tehran because Dubai was an economic lung for the Iranian regime,” Jason Brodsky of United Against Nuclear Iran told Iran International.
“That is economic pressure and diplomatic isolation in a way that the UAE is able to employ against the Iranian regime, and it will have a very considerable impact.” (more)

Checkmate?
Only cards left are thousands of unused missiles.
Are you sure you are playing with a full deck.
Oh Chutes (and Ladders)™ Sorry!™ I thought I had Monopoly™ over this domain. Now I’m having Trouble™ because I didn’t have a Clue™. I should have known the Risk™. I have a Checkers✓ past and just couldn’t Connect Four™ the Life™ of me. Uno™ what I mean?
Of which many…if not most….are either unusable or being manned by untrained 3rd stringers who have no comms with any sort of central control.
And, you know this because you obviously spent significant time last week inspecting Iranian missile batteries?
How many of these “3rd stringers” did you have a chance to talk to? 😆
No launchers.
Ya mean the ones we have…?
The question, Pe7ot Conservative6, is whether the Iranians are still getting
targeting coordinates from Putin.
Have we negotiated an end to that with Putin?
Last I read/heard, Putin said that he would only stop that communication IF
we stopped giving targeting assistance to the Ukies.
FAKE NEWS! I doubt that Putin wants to piss-off President Trump because of Iran’s stupidity.
Putin? He’s laughing all the way to the bank as now China has to buy oil from him!
Does it occur to anyone to ask what Xi has been doing?
Xi and Chyna are who PDJT is playing chess with. IRAN it’s just a piece on the board.
Xi Pooh has been eating honey.
They make great fence posts when there are no platforms left to launch them. Suggest you quit sniffing the main stream media glue that Iran’s military is still functional.
And??
Memo to the Iranian hierarchy…
B Obama…
Donald John Trump…
These two presidents are not the same.
Clear?
A pack of cards with king replaced by the Trump card would be an instant hit, a real money maker.
Or, even better, the ace is replaced by the Trump card, like the one shown above. Then, the Trump card is stronger than any king.
Sundance, you can sell it on this website. We need to make up a poker game called ‘All in and all out’. This game must as high stakes, clever, and exciting as our President. Bigger than Texas hold’em and, if possible, more clever than chess out of these deck of cards, if possible.
100 sets.
How about playing FAFO, seems like fun.
YES!
Let’s play FAFO. The Trump card is wild!
Plus it fits into a pocket as opposed to lugging around a chess set, board and all that!
I would order many of them. A case. I already have a list of recipients.
So not subtle. So perfect.
My Dad who taught me so many great things not by talking but by doing (while I watched and learned) had a S&W .38 7.5″ Police Special which I am now the proud owner of……and he called her Betsy!
She fires like nobody’s business and I can’t help but put her and you Betsy jones (with the lower case j) as a force not to be reckoned with.
She fires with bullets but you fire with words, truthful words that can cut even the evilest villain (Leftist, MSM, etc) down.
May our prayers continue to fuel our President Trump with the ammo he needs to right this ship that we call America! I think he’s doing a darn good job so far. Let the naysayers rot and I won’t say anything more since it is Orthodox Easter and He has Risen!
Wow, THOR…what can I say to that? Bless you, dear friend. I’ve never felt so honoured (and in truth almost tearful).
With all his enemies surrounding him, foreign and especially domestic, our constant entreaties to Almighty God for His guidance and protection for the most consequential President this Republic has ever known must be unremitting. I join you in your prayer, brother Treeper…as no doubt we all do.
In God We Trust.
Amen.
Amen 🙏🏻
Amen.
Happy, blessed Easter!
Happy Easter!
Good one Betsy!
To bad congress is.
Dear Betsy Jones. You are spot on. Even though the Iranians are dealing with a different and valid President, the Iranian negotiators believe in their twisted minds that they have a duty to destroy “the infidels”. I believe negotiations are a waste of time until the mullah and IRGC are dead. It is pointless to blow up their power plants because they do not care about their people. The only solution, in my mind, is a consecrated effort to kill all the sorry bastards.
GOD bless President Trump, and GOD bless America.
I wrote a few days ago that the IRGC, merciless murderers of their own people (40,000+), must be wiped from the face of the earth, Mary. And even then…
No “deals” entered into by the remaining so called Iranian “moderates” (for which I would like to know how in this world can an Iranian “moderate” be defined) will not be guaranteed. Their word means nothing. Their signatures mean nothing. That is the essence of Islam as it has been from their beginning.
I am reading that President Trump will make a substantial announcement tomorrow, based on a curiously worded post on his Truth Social.
We wait with bated breath.
The window for unfettered military operations closes little by little before President Trump is required to go to Congress. I’m sure he hears the clock ticking with each day that passes. All we can do is watch and pray.
“Say no more…Say no more!!!” (sorry, it’s the Monty Python assurance coming out in me! ) 😉
Rubio is like Chuck Norris!!!!
What is the fastest way to a man’s heart?
Marco Rubio’s fist.
Move over Jules Verne, here comes Marco!
Rubio has another job.
He’s everwhar!!!
Time to also keep a sharp eye out for oil being smuggled through Iran’s northern border.
Blockading the Strait may not be enough.
Each tanker carries millions of barrels of oil… hard to smuggle that north in trucks
Caspian Sea?
Enough gets out via the trucks to keep Iran finances OK and other countries well supplied with oil..
LOL. Trucks? I don’t think that would do the trick.
I heard yesterday on the news that the average tanker carries….2 million, yes TWO MILLION barrels of oil.
Just asked Ai:
“Oil tankers typically carry between 70,000 and 3 million+ barrels of oil, depending on their size classification, with the most common large vessels (VLCCs) holding approximately 2 million barrels. Smaller coastal tankers hold significantly less, often starting around 300,000 barrels”
Trucks?? You say Trucks? Lol..That many trucks from space would look like a giant snake making it’s way by road. Does Iran have that many Tanker Trucks? Be a Good target since we own the skies..
I would certainly hope that’s the case. But, you never know what desperate people are capable of.
China built a railway into Iran… Im “assuming” thats still in operation (for the time bing im assuming as well)
Rail cars.
Do you have ANY idea how unserious a thought that is?
Trains are super easy targets. So are trucks. Any such movement will be obvious to a force that controls the skies completely.
Besides….have you even a clue how many trucks it would take to replace just a single ship tanker?
A typical tanker ship can haul 350,000 to 400,000 barrels of oil. A typical tanker truck can haul about 200 barrels 😆
I had this discussion a week ago regarding Alberta not having a pipeline to the west. I was told trains could “make up for it.”
So how many barrels could a train haul? 20k, mor, less?
Truth be told I thought this was not a legit argument.
No, rail can’t make up for a pipeline. Can’t remember the numbers in an article I read a while back, but…no.
“Unserious”?
I don’t see anything wrong with offering what I said as a possibility.
I post here, as much as anything, to learn from others.
Sorry I offended you.
The grasshopper is a trouble maker and you are the target today..
Some posters (sorry I am one also) insist on adhering as closely to the facts of the matter as possible.
Its not personal nor about feels but about valid discussion.
“Facts of the matter”
“Valid discussion”
Both rather subjective.
I, for one, detest intellectual bullies. Nothing suggests insecurity more than someone who wants to be the “smartest in the room”.
Facts are not intellectual they just are…….it’s not about you.
“Facts” 🤭
Sigh…don’t know at this point why I am offering assistance to you.
You offered a speculation, without doing your own due diligence (research), that Iran could export significant quantities of oil by truck or rail to compensate for shipping by sea.
Several posters provided the numbers involved, (facts) that illustrate why Iran cannot compensate by alternative methods of export.
Your response is an emoji and a poor attempt at ridicule to an offer, a direction of a better way to understand.
So….do you have an adult in your life to help make basic decisions? I hope so.
Thanks for the heads up!
The grasshopper is grumpy.
Hey Bamaniciou, I read it and thought his response said a hell a lot more about him than it did you.
Hang in there.
Thank you! 👍
Actually oil tankers carry 2 million to 4 million barrels of oil.
Shipping by rail cannot compete with shipping by tanker. Shipping by truck, even less.
Overland shipping must pass through at minimum 1 other country (no direct access to China), and at most, 3 different countries.
Transport through northern Iran can be interdicted. Transport to China through Afghanistan is very problematic – the Taliban would just as well take the oil for themselves, or charge transportation fees to access rail or roads through that country. The local warlords, even more so.
The southern muslim countries that once formed the southern belly of the old USSR – Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan – are sunni muslim majority – not a good political fit there.
Too much in the way of political capital has to be spent by China to procure safe transport of that kind of volume of oil/gas.
A direct pipeline to China would be a much better fit – but pipelines through other countries pose the same interdiction issues. Just ask Victor Orban that.
Too bad about Victor. I hope he can remain a political force somehow.
Iran probably won’t be smuggling much oil out over their northern border. The thing to watch out for is resupply of Chinese and Russian missiles coming in.
Agreed. At this point, weapons are more important to Iran than oil profits.
China will not acceptthis.
The question becomes, what kind of relationship do Iran and China have with Afghanistan?
Would Afghanistan provide Iran a passage to smuggle oil to China, if that’s even plausible?
I’m laughing out loud at your crazy idea of trucks going thru Afghanistan mountain roads carrying maybe 200 barrels of oils at a time 🥳
Assuming there is a supply of trucks powerful and dependable enough to pull that weight up such extreme gradients. (If physically possible)
“If that’s even plausible”
It’s clear I proposed the possibility that I’m wrong about this.
Please see fit to perform fornication upon thyself.
Trucks is how they got diesel in to US FOBs and patrol bases for 20 years.
Each truck would burn much of the 200 barrels of oil to make the journey!
Each barrel contains 40 gallons. The trucks get 5 mpg that’s 200 miles on a barrel. Ten barrels gets you 2,000 miles which is probably the distance.
I’ve been to Afghanistan. There is one paved road that makes a loop around the country–and it ain’t a four-laner. Everything else outside of larger towns are dirt roads, paths thru mountains, etc.
Good luck with those trucks.
…not to mention stray IED’s…
China accepting the terms is irrelevant.
They can buy Russian crude at current market prices.
Maybe. I mean, Ukraine’s drone strikes on Russian refineries and the Druzba pipeline are reported to have reduced Russia’s export capability by 40%.
WGAF what they accept or don’t accept.
Really? What do you think they’re going to do?
They will Iran to give up their nuclear ambitions
I mean China will force them
They have no choice.
Then, let’s bomb the railroad they built to Iran.
Well, no surprises there.
Amazing, when you consider that Australia helped us in Vietnam with ground troops, but won’t lift a finger to help us now.
Shameful.
Different kind of Aussie then… Worked alongside their ASW men in Vietnam and the Philippines… Tough guys, everyone of them seemed like Crocodile Dundee….
Today, not so much….
What a bunch of wimps the Commonwealth has become…..,
Thank you for your service! 👊
Major changes in Australian politics and leadership. I cannot remember when the people of Australia bowed to the leftist government and surrendered their firearms. The Australian government was tyrannical during covid; absolute despots.
I haven’t paid any attention to ANYTHING “AUSTRALIA” since they locked up their native populations and shot their citizens out in parks with their families during COVID!
Australia’s government won’t lift a finger to help their own citizens and economy is hewing a little closer to the line.
Telling that past strong allies of the US are declining to join the blockade (UK and now Australia). The UK, however, has no seaworthy ships so they couldn’t participate if they wanted. Unsure about Australia’s navy. Both are hedging their bets. So be it. Not to be forgotten.
DJT “never forgets.”
“Remember, it’s clear in the text messages Strzok had a working relationship with what he called their “sister agency”, the CIA. Additionally, former CIA Director John Brennan has admitted Strzok helped write the January 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) which outlines the Russia narrative; and Peter Strzok wrote the July 31st, 2016, “Electronic Communication” that originated FBI operation “Crossfire Hurricane.” Strzok immediately used that EC to travel to London to debrief allied intelligence officials connected to the Australian Ambassador to the U.K, Alexander Downer.”

We may be unable to get ships to the Gulf because none are available but don’t forget the support the UK has given and is giving to the USAF. Major refueling/rearming B-52 and B-1 at RAF Fairford, refueling air tankers at RAF Mildenhall and refuelling C-17 at Prestwick in Scotland. There is a stream of C-17 heading to the ME currently.
This has put us in the same category as the US/Israel in that the Irans have said that no tankers destined for us will leave the Gulf. Qatar is the largest suppler of Nat Gas to the UK after Norway. This will hurt.
You do realize the UK is obliged to provide this support under the SOFA? Now, let’s talk about Diego Garcia?
Apparently Starmer has scrapped that idea. For now, anyway.
I guess we Americans should bow down and kiss the King’s ring? Nope. We the USA maintain those bases to keep your soon to be Islam-controlled country safe from RUSSIA or at least that was the original plan.
Now we see your leaders (the global homo green idiots) who YOU have allowed to destroy your country, your heritage and your history scurry around trying to look tough.
You better find the black market and get a gun cuz you’re going to need it….bigly. Come through!
Australia navy
30 commissioned
14 non-commissioned
Not much worth sending considering the task at hand.
Relevant platforms…
3 destroyers
7 Frigates
2 mine sweepers
If Australia sent 1 Destroyer, 1 Frigate and a mine sweeper, that would leave only 8 combatants and a mine sweeper to guard the CONTINENT!
Pathetic
Australia’s navy is in dry dock
I did read that Brits were considering renting a mine sweeper. Maybe it cost too much. 😉
…and President Trump said that NATO countries like the UK, Germany and Australia had increased defense spending??? 😉
The deep state swamp is international. The Aus/UK decision to decline to join the blockade is strategic. If PDJT is draining the swamp, he must continue to ‘go international’.
The 5 Eyes is crooked as a dog’s hind leg. All failed states are deep state hideouts. UAE has been exposed as an Iranian money laundering hub. From Azerbaijan to Venezuala, Scandinavia to Sydney, etc. Every industry, every charity, every NGO, every educational institution, every religious office. Liars, cheats, thieves, criminals and killers. Assume everything is crooked until proven otherwise.
The communist march across the institutions was a success for them. Western ‘democratic’ governments are the main enemy. The war continues….
The Australian Airforce sent the world’s most advanced listening aircraft plus support aircraft immediately the attack on Iran started.
Operational Deployment: As of March 2026, an E-7A Wedgetail is deployed to the Middle East (UAE) for reconnaissance and protection duties. It previously operated in Europe (2023-2024, 2025) for NATO support.
The Wedgetail and 85 supporting ADF personnel will provide long-range reconnaissance capability to help secure airspace above the Gulf. They will be deployed for an initial four weeks.
The Australian Government will also provide advanced medium range air-to-air missiles to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
CAPABILITES: The
aircraft combines long-range surveillance radar with tactical, voice, and data communications, enabling the tracking of airborne and maritime targets.
So they send an American made airplane to LISTEN in on the action.
Did they send anyone to GET-IN on the action?
These swines in the Australian govt are way more likely to pass any intel they hear along to the Iranian mullahs. Its that bad.
I am afraid Australia is not to be trusted

41 ships
Australia barely has a Navy. They are just pretending that they have enough Navy to actually help.
That’s like me, 120 pounds, 67 years old female, putting out a post that says that I refuse to join the US Military because of The Bad Orange Man and Hegseth as though I actually had a chance to join.
You got my heart to beatin’, lady. I’m 81 and staggering around, winkin’ at young chicks like you, and coming up zero!
I’m with you at 76 and winkin’
HAHA! Or me 6 ft., 200 pounds (20 lbs overweight, 69 year old male) saying the same thing. Yeah, I hike a lot and I know how to shoot but when I saw Australia’s attack on those who defied the CHYNA virus assault on their freedoms I knew the Aussies were lost.
I hear that, blind in one eye and can’t see out of the other!
As the federal
government extended the deployment of the E-7 Wedgetail aircraft on Thursday, the chief of Defence, Admiral David Johnston, said the crew were taking active steps to only contribute to defensive operations.
Thursday.
Asked about possible Australian efforts to help reopen the strategic strait of Hormuz, Johnston said the Royal Australian Navy was equipped to help, but such a move might not be in the country’s strategic interest.
“I am very confident we could deploy a ship into that environment if the government was to make a decision to do so. I have no hesitation in our ability to work in a strait of Hormuz-type role.
after newsletter promotion
“But perhaps what is an at least as important question is: where do our priorities lie?
“The United States has moved enormous military capacity into the Gulf region at the moment, including a lot of capacity out of the Indo-Pacific. This is an important time for us to be present in the Indo-Pacific to maintain that regional environment that we seek to maintain.”
So easy to say when you aren’t trying to achieve it, you pussies.
Imagine a couple of decades ago thinkin of Aussies as pussies.
Maybe they can have discussions with the French… and learn the art of surrender.
They, like most of Europe, have lazily let the Muslim horde take them over.
I heard in 1900 there were two majority Muslim nations, now it’s 50.
Maybe it is time for the Crusades, part II.
It’s past time.
The Globalists foreign and domestic are all going to mount as much of a campaign in 2028 as they can to install the Democrats. Got to return to the old ways of working, ya know?
We sure need Elon.
They may not find that as easy as they expect. Let’s pretend it’s 1858.
I guess they’ll run dry then
Most Aussies don’t think clearly because as infants they were jostled bouncing around in their mothers’ pouches.
Australia has become “France Down Under.”
How would you say “cheese eating surrender monkey” in Australian Kriol?
Nor “Modern Major General” Starmer”.
No surprise.
So you say you wish a blockade grasshopper?
A blockade can be a double edged sword.
The ultimate goal is to make the opponent surrender without a direct battle by destroying their will to engage rather than their physical strength.
As Sun Tzu states, “The expert in battle moves the enemy, and is not moved by him.”
President Trump could probably quote him chapter and verse, Monti. Add his early military school training, which most of his antagonists forget (if they ever knew), and you have a wise and savvy fighter multiple steps ahead. Playing them at their own game. As here.
Absolutely my friend.
akin to what Caesar did in Alessia
Oh, OK. Thanks for sharing.
All PDT needs to do is tell AUS that the submarine partnership is cancelled.
I would not be suprised that AUS is backdealing with China and has entered some kind of sub deal and may very well be planning to share critical information about the Virginia class subs that are to be delivered ooa 2030’ish. Mind you these US developed submarines will be built in the UK.
considering aus has been trading heavily with lithium and uranium…what does Australia get out of it? weapons? Chinese intelligence ?
It’s probably a good idea that President Trump look closely at that sub deal and take it off the table.
Socialist governments (Federal & state) and corrupt as hell. Mail in ballots and after election day receipt. Counting for 7-10-14 days! The Spain of the southern hemisphere.
Australian governmental authorities are far too busy facilitating immigration into Australia of non-whites and engaging in post-COVID government authoritarianism over the Australian population with respect to speech and social media posts to help save the world from the Islamic Iranian nuclear threat.
Maybe New Zealand will send their superstar ship’s captain to ply the shallow waters.
Oops!

At the same time, the command noted that U.S. military forces will not interfere with freedom of navigation for ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz if they are traveling to or from non-Iranian ports.”
Thanks for the repeat…bill
You’d be surprised how many people missed that fine point…😉
I hate to say it – but I’m nearly certain someone is going to try to run through the embargo, daring the US Navy to take them down, in order to cause an international incident.
Commercial oil tankers are owned by major shipping companies who won’t even send their tankers to Iran now!
How about a no-fly zone?
Iran can barely fly a kite now.
So, theoretically, with the oil already under sanction…. no one should complain about the naval embargo. Right?
Common sense will not be tolerated
Yep. Ha ha ha.
We live in a post-truth, post-trust world increasingly disregarding rules, agreements, and laws, and covering this with lies.
Like the US authorities lying about the hazard of an engineered virus about as hazardous as seasonal flu, lying about its origin, conspiring to censor information about the genetic manipulation shots’ harms and lack of efficacy, violating laws in suppressing safe effective early treatments including ivermectin, and coercing the populace to take the shots in violation of law and medical ethics including the Nuremberg Code.
Everything happening including the wholesale disregard for truth, ethics, rules, and laws portends the decline of the West.
Sleep well.
Thanks. Gee, you got to bring true not so old history to the table…bill
I trust PDJT is going to impose our will in the next couple of weeks to take the islands at the Straits and Kharg.
That is our war prize.
Also expecting we have lots of newer intelligence as to where this leadership is residing so we can further destabilize and weaken the Shia/Mullah grip on power to create the conditions for their removal.
Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch, and I sure expect the abused Persians will warm to the task of finishing off what is left in the streets.
Taking Kharg requires ground troops.
No need to take them.
No need to “take” Kharg Island or anywhere else in Iran now that shipping has been cut-off. Iran exports 1.5 million bpd so unless Iranians can eat oil they will have to shutdown their entire oil production over domestic consumption amounts.
*woops*
As I commented on an earlier post, the blockade needs to apply to more than just the water passage through Hormuz. It needs to be by land and air as well. The rail system in the northeast of the country that connects Iran to China needs to be taken out of operation, and any completed pipelines as well. Any flights into Iran bringing military equipment and supplies should either be shot down when they enter Iranian airspace or destroyed on the ground when they land. Deny the regime all possibility of help from the outside.
Siege machine
Yes – was going to make this comment, scrolled to find you already have. PDJT has already warned that transport infrastructure will be targeted as needed. Bridges, rail lines, tunnels – lines of shipment can be broken given air superiority.
The Chinese constructed railway connecting China to Iran might be a very profitable and controlling prize, if seized. China would need permission to buy oil and gas transported by rail and pay new, not so favorable prices. Additionally, they would need to “play nice” with the United States. Could be a win-win. Just a muse.
,
Who are the parties buying Iran’s oil?
I haven’t read the whole art of war, but I’m pretty sure there’s something in there about cutting the enemy supply lines off to make them unable to fight or something.
Panama canal: China controlled no more.
Venezuela: China controlled no more.
Iran: One of two remaining sources of energy for China no more.
Russia: About to become a US cooperating partner in world energy supply and distribution and the final energy supplier to China.
Had Trump bombed those railways between China and Iran? Maybe Israel could actually act like an ally and take those out for us?
I saw a mention that France had been buying oil by paying the illegal fee.
Once tankers are located in International waters (having paid a toll to Iran), what will become of the oil?
Maybe the Iranian tankers will be carrying a fully equipped with MANPADs military protection team? If a USN boarding party actually gets onboard then what? What will become of the tankers seized and their cargo? The Indian Ocean is not the Caribbean.
Eyes in the sky and the discombobulator will even the odds.
No one has to die in a boarding.
Did Tom Waltz put the manpad dispensers in the tanker bathrooms? Asking for a friend.
*tim
“The Indian Ocean is not the Caribbean”
True
And container ships are not speed boats
It would remain in the tankers at anchor where ever CENTCOM designates as the holding area. Realistically, no tankers will depart Iran knowing this is their fate.
“Once tankers are located in International waters (having paid a toll to Iran), what will become of the oil?”
Tankers other then those carrying Iranian oil are free to pass. Only Iranian oil is under embargo. As for any Iranian oil that manages to slip passed the guards, five words:
Letters of marque and reprisal
They are free to pass now.
There were reports of several ships transiting the straight recently, after having paid a toll.
If none have, or none are expected to, why did President Trump highlight it?
Dow futures down 527….
I don’t care.
Saving America will sometimes ruffle the feathers of those who bet on the market in the short term.
Don’t worry Aggiegirl, on Friday, I was already anticipating a pullback into a certain area so I’m might fire up the computer and possibly take a long position.
What do the futures on XOM, OCY DVN AM and EQT doing?
XOM, DVN and EQT are equities so we won’t know until pre-market tomorrow. Is OCY the proper symbol! I don’t see it in equities or futures.
Oxy. Fat thumbs on a phone.
lol, I figured it was occidental but I wanted to confirm. Same same, pre market tomorrow.
You cashing out?
So what?
I’m about 40% in oil and gas, and have held most of these for 3-11 years.
PBR, and everything in TX/LA are about to go up 20% by year’s end!
The rest of the market will be down due to inflation being 3% and the pundits harping on it constantly.
So, the new front is the financial lifeline of the extremist Islamists.
The UK/EU/Australia are neutered –
and President Trump is leading.
👍
They neutered themselves. Poor choices.
Now that Iran has lost all their teeth, the other countries in the region are not afraid to hit them financially. And Rubio is sending all the relatives who were safe in the US, living in luxury, back to Iran to live in the conditions the radicals created. Trump is a genius.
More likely France, or some other cushy place- they won’t like it back home.
F them, they will go where we send them.
You are correct- I stand corrected.
Iran was bold thinking they could do what they want and the US can’t stop them militarily for 9 more days. So Trump takes control of the straights and Iran can’t hit any ships during the cease fire or the US will bomb in another regime change. Who’s your daddy.
Kinda like how the Dems are now piling on Swalwell 😎

Still waiting on the Iranian people to rise up.
They have no weapons; they were taken from them like Democrats want to do here in the USA, so they can’t fight.
Persian.
MPGA
Make Persia Great Again
The Iranians still have guns, bullets, and ropes. If the Persian people take to the streets like they did when this conflict began then the Iranians will murder them just like they did the other 40,000 people who celebrated.
It’s gonna have to come from within the IRGC. Some generals are gonna get together and talk pragmatics. “Protect the mullahs whose strategy is pray and be martyred, or round them up, arrest them and call Trump pronto.
Cut Off the Money –
Rule Number One: “Follow the Money!”
Rule number two: Nature abhors a vacuum.
The Chinese oil apatite will be satisfied…..somehow. Will other oil producers in the area step up production to help fill the void? If the purpose of this embargo is to hit Iran hard economically, not China, then we should expect the other Arab states to capitalize on this change in market conditions.
uh, what about the oil that flows from iran piplines to other countries????
I’m thinking most of it is shipped out by way of Kharg Is.
A. It’s not much.
B. Those pipelines are easy targets.
BREAKING NEWS:
Turkey brands Netanyahu ‘Hitler of our time’ as Erdogan threatens to invade Israel
“Turkey’s president has strongly criticised Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, stating he is “blinded by blood and hate,” as one of his ministers dubbed him a “Hitler of our time”.”
“In a speech following the indictments against 35 top Israeli officials Mr Erdoan said: “Had Pakistan not been mediating in the war between the US and Iran, we would have shown Israel its place. Just as we entered Libya and Karabakh, we can enter Israel.”
https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/turkish-president-erdogan-calls-netanyahu-37002875
Sounds like an act-
F that punk.
They have a huge army and reserves.
And a NATO membership.
“Turkey brands Netanyahu ‘Hitler of our time’ as Erdogan threatens to invade Israel”
More sabre rattling. Erdogan knows full well he cannot invade Israel directly. He would have to invade Syria first in order to be “Lebanon’s Liberator”. Not a winning proposition.
An amphibious invasion he could not pull off.
So…more of the same political posturing.
Oh, well if Turkey says it’s so….
Does this mean PDJT isn’t Hitler anymore?
Bibi has the address where Erdogan sleeps at night, even if it’s a different place every night.
Dad’s home. Party’s over. Everybody OUT!
It is looking like the peace negotiations were a method to stop the ongoing bombardment and to transition to this blockade.
Of course they took the opportunity to negotiate away nuclear weapons seriously, but Iran was dishonest, not even clearing the Straight as required. Glad we took their insanity seriously with a new tack.
Remember-
It’s still a “pause,”
Locked and loaded.
Mainstream Media and the “independent journalist / influencers” don’t seem to understand what’s happening.
They understand. That’s why they consistently report lies. Margaret Brennan is the modern Bagdad Bob.
Pres. Trump also made it clear that he has no objections of China purchasing oil from Venezuela. So that can lessen the blow. China can also purchase oil from the US according to Trump, but I doubt China will take him up on that,
True, but neither country will offer the discount that China got from Maduro.
I have commented about this before: the problem with negotiations is that both sides need to be rational.
This was the problem when European diplomats were dealing with Hitler: they assumed that Hitler was a rational person, a reasonable politician similar to themselves.
To be sure, Hitler was not insane, but he was also not a rational person, as no rational person advocates for genocide.
Thus, no one associated with the irrational “Mullahs” can be trusted to negotiate rationally, as they also desire the extermination of every Jew as well as every Christian on the planet.
Not unlike 1930’s diplomats dealing with Hitler, our contemporary diplomats think they can deal rationally with Islamic Radicals.
Wrong back then, wrong today! President TRUMP understands this, but was hoping to find a rational group somehow.
And so, no deal is possible with anyone representing Iran’s Islamists. So…
Let us end things rationally! 😉
Let’s make sure the railroad to China is destroyed and any pipelines going NE.
Judge boasberg will order trump to stop the blockade
Someone should wrap boasberg up in a burkha and parachute drop him over Iran so he can check into the situation firsthand.
“CUT OFF THE MONEY” … ???
Hmmmmmmmm … BRILLIANT !!! But … where have I heard that (or something similar) before … ???
OH YEAH !!! … IT’S ALWAYS ABOUT THE MONEY !!! “POWER AND MONEY, POWER AND MONEY, POWER AND MONEY !!! ”
Sometimes the order reverses and then it’s convenient and required : “MONEY AND POWER, MONEY AND POWER !! … etc., etc.
It’s really not all that “hard” and it’s been a truism for centuries ….

Sure antagonise China. Remember US needs rare earth minerals for their war machine.
The tarrifs got pulled off pretty quickly last time they withheld them

Serious question:
Who are the
“money changers “?
Think “laundry” 😎
https://www.iranintl.com/en/202603319804
SD: they are handling the small transactions which no doubt impact the individuals in the regime and their day to day. Might be more impactful.
But the big money from their national bank and all their currency reserves are in China and Quatar.
How do you know all this stuff? It continues to amaze me!
Most likely they are Hawaladars (money brokers)
https://www.investopedia.com/terms/h/hawala.asp
Hawala is an alternative or parallel remittance system that exists and operates outside the traditional banking system. Typically, a hawala transaction transfers the value of money from one country to another without the corresponding movement of cash or cover across borders.
Hawala has existed a long time and actually predates bank transfers by hundreds of years. During the twelfth and thirteenth centuries, the development of trade between regions called for the establishment of reliable and trustworthy instruments to finance those transactions. The instruments predate the conventional banking system and have contributed to the development of trade and the exchange of goods between nations and regions.
What is called hawala in Arabic is also known as hundi in India and Pakistan and as havala in Iran. The word hawala comes from the Arabic root hawal, meaning to “to change” or “to transfer.” A traveler’s check is called a hawala safir. The Arabic word hawala has been adopted into both Hindi and Urdu. The alternative term, hundi, comes from the Sanskrit root meaning “to collect.” A hawala operator or dealer is called a “hawaladar.”
China is going to make a move on the chessboard….
They have been very quiet about this whole matter….
There is a reason for that…..
What move? China can buy oil from the United States according to President Trump. I don’t think China cares where it comes from.
Netanyahu’s 30-Year Lie: Iran’s Nuclear Threat Exposed (2025 Viral Clip)
The mullahs admitted to having enough uranium for 11 ballistic missiles.
Wow.
Fully exposing the IRGC and China (and their US Media cohorts) like this is yuge.
This is complicated. Iran is blocking the oil of the Gulf States and the US will block the Iranian oil.
Iran is very defiant and mocking the US about this move. Expect missies and drones.
Only 12-14% of the oil in China comes from Iran. The West is in a much deeper problem.
90% of Iran’s oil export is going to be blocked. I suggested this blockade for weeks. Why endanger troops and take their island if you can blockade them. I mean taking their island is also a good idea but the blockade is a lower risk action.
But I also suggested to hummer all the income of this regime. The salaries of the IRGC and Basij etc…
The government income is almost half from oil, more than half from taxation and then they can also print money. All those sources can be attacked and shut off. Without money for the soldiers we will see which side they will choose.
Pretty sure that cutting off the foreign currency for crude is going to push them over the economic edge.
Iran has been suffering from very high inflation rates of late some 45-50% year over year. Inflating the currency further will see the implosion happen that much faster. It was also not long ago that Iran introduced a new 10 million Rial note, their highest ever denomination.
Iran’s oil exports total 1.5 million bpd which is barely a hiccup in the world oil market. We’re getting more than that from Venezuela already.
There are times I miss being JCSE. I knew what was really happening elsewhere in the world. Judging from what I saw then there is some serious crap going down now.
But the City of London!
“For years, Dubai has served as Iran’s main offshore financial artery, where oil proceeds, petrochemical revenues and rial conversions were turned into dollars, dirhams and euros beyond the reach of the country’s battered domestic banking system.”
And yet Iran’s Revolutionary Guard attacked Dubai last month, sending missiles and drones after civilian as well as military targets, forcing the UAE to temporarily shut its airspace. It’s a classic case of biting the hand that feeds you and speaks to the delusional mindset of Iran’s leaders.
[Michael Corleone from a leveraged “negotiation” in Godfather 2 (1974):]
“My final offer is this: NOTHING!“
It is not nice to bomb your banker.
DJT just did a complete work around regarding crippling China. SCOTUS and anti-Trumpers attempted to minimize the impact of tariffs but no oil (fuel) means military capability is severely impacted. The Iran to China railway can’t meet the demands and it’s an easy target for our military.
“CBS: Americans overwhelmingly support President Trump’s goals in Iran.”
Cont and video….
A blockade of Iran’s oil exports is a hiccup on the world’s oil market…
According to the latest data from March and April 2026:
Current Daily Exports: Iran’s oil exports reached approximately 1.5 million barrels per day (bpd) in March 2026. This reflects a significant increase—roughly 50%—compared to the lower levels seen during the height of recent market volatility.
Total Production: Iran is currently producing roughly 3.18 million to 3.3 million bpd, making it the fifth-largest producer in OPEC+ with 50% for domestic consumption.
Key Destinations: China remains the primary buyer, accounting for the vast majority (nearly 90%) of these exports, followed by smaller volumes to Syria, the UAE, and Venezuela.
Revenue Impact: Despite sanctions and the ongoing conflict, Tehran has reported increased revenues by selling closer to global benchmarks, with heavy crude prices averaging around $66.59 per barrel in February 2026.
One man’s hiccup is another man’s heart attack. I don’t see any statins heading Iran’s way.
The offer in pakistan was in good faith and the US’ best and final. Every offer afterwards is worse. Iran should have taken the deal before we bombed. Then they should have taken the deal in Pakistan. Negotiate in good faith rag heads or find out.

INTERESTING:
An IranWire investigation identifies Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf’s social media activity as being run by Amir Hossein Moradi, who is reportedly based in the United States—highlighting a direct operational link between senior Iranian leadership messaging and activity on American soil.
According to the report, Moradi has positioned himself to study and engage U.S. audiences, with content crafted to tap into domestic tensions and anxieties while advancing Tehran’s messaging abroad.
IranWire notes this raises concerns about how Iranian-linked actors may exploit American platforms to “shape narratives” and amplify propaganda, blurring the line between foreign state messaging and organic discourse. (Iran Wire)

So we agreed to give them their frozen money, and now washington thinks we are hurting them by stopping their oil sales. We just give them billions in frozen money. Is anyone awake in DC.
No one gave them the frozen money. No worries.
NEW POLL:

87% say keeping the Strait of Hormuz open and ensuring oil access is important

It looks like Larry and son are having some immediate impact on CBS.
Hmmmmmm…
Trying to starve China and India and Japan and Australia and South Korea etc of oil is not a winning strategy. There are a great many surface to air missiles China would probably like to try out on our aircraft and naval vessels. Kind of like we have been doing for over four years over in Ukraine.
Bring our boys home and take care of our domestic problems Mr. President.
Let Israel deal with the Middle East. A lot of bloviating on this site is starting to sound like Ms. Lindsey.
Concerns noted and discounted.
Pentagon: Iran was responsible for the death of 608 US soldiers during the Iraq war
And many many others in terror attacks
So the Iranian regime needs to be destroyed
