Having travelled to regions of the world in discussions with people who factually determine economic outcomes, it is clear that every single policy shift undertaken by the Canadian government of Mark Carney is exactly the opposite of what is needed. In the next 24 months, the lifestyle of every Canadian will forever change.

Too many words; too small a man.
President Trump is reestablishing an entirely new economic, trade and finance system. The era of the Marshal Plan is over; it has been factually deconstructed in the past 12 months.
Canadians and Europeans are desperately trying to offset the ramifications, hold on to their economic benefits and find a new mechanism to afford the domestic indulgences now eliminated by President Trump and the absence of money.
Both the EU and Canada are looking to China and ASEAN partnerships as a financial offset. However, the ASEAN group has no domestic wealth and can only provide one-way benefits.
Despite the reality of things, denial is rampant. Here are three facts that will not change.
Fact #1: Asia is not a purchaser; they are producers. There are no customers in Southeast Asia, only workers. ASEAN nations are not customers. Any ASEAN trade agreement does not materially gain the EU or Canada any exports.
Fact #2: China is a closed economic system. China does what is in China’s best interests. When negotiating with China, Chairman Xi wears a panda mask to cover the dragon face. China now sees the EU/Canada refusal to adapt as an opportunity to exploit.
Fact #3: The EU and Canada have chased ‘climate change’ and ‘green energy’ schemes into a dead end of economic crisis. The direct and collateral damage is generational, and only just now beginning to surface. When combined with their intransigent resistance to adapt to President Trump’s global economic and trade reset, core issue “reciprocity”, this reality takes both economies down a path that becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Choosing to embrace China in lieu of modifying bilateral trade agreements with the USA is a short-sighted fool’s errand. Unfortunately, with political calculations each entity, Canada and/or the EU collective, are pandering to their base out of an unwillingness to change trade behavior as demanded by Trump.
Yes, Canada may end up exporting more very specific goods to China; an offset for some of the USA losses, but at what cost long-term.
Think about the EU auto-sector as an example.
To avoid paying their own climate change fines, the EU automakers are purchasing carbon credits from Chinese EV automakers. In the short term, that trick may diminish the auto company fines to Brussels but think about the longer-term problem.
China takes the revenue from the EU companies and uses it to subsidize their EV exports making their EVs cost substantially less than EU electric vehicles in the EU.
Geely, BYD, etc. can lower the price of an EV in Europe because EU car companies are giving them money. The EU is paying China to destroy the EU auto industry. You cannot make this stuff up.
As a consequence, BYD is now building a factory in Hungary. Additionally, Geely owns 10% of Mercedes. You might have noticed that Mercedes recently announced they are shifting production of their Model-A to Hungary. 20,000 jobs shifted from Germany to Hungary. Victor Orban is good friends with Donald Trump. These are not coincidences.
In the Canadian model, Mark Carney may end up selling slightly more stuff to China but he’s going to end up selling less to the USA because Chinese components are subject to ever-enlarging USA trade tariffs. The USMCA is on the cusp of being cancelled, it will happen this year.
Canada is betting they can export more $$ to Beijing than they will lose in diminished export $$ to the USA. Fine, that’s the bet (a political calculation). However, the reality of the end result is increased dependency on China. That never ends well.
Beijing keeps the panda mask on while the dependency is created, see belt and road; however, as soon as it is in Beijing’s interest to drop the panda mask, Canada will see the dragon face behind it.
From Ottawa to London, to Paris, Berlin and Brussels the geopolitical landscape is changing permanently as President Donald Trump resets their global trade relationship to the United States.
NOTE: despite the claims of the Lyndon LaRouche group (Promethean Action), President Trump doesn’t sit around thinking about how to destroy British imperialism or the multinational financial system. That result comes as an outcome of his reset, a consequence; it is not however, the intent of it.
Instead, President Trump is leveraging the largest consumer market in the world to the benefit of the customer; that’s America. Trump’s direct and specific intent is transactional, to rebuild an industrial and self-sufficient nation that is the envy of the world.

Carney like all of the EU leaders are minority supported leaders who are only in power due to their odd parliament systems. None of them have the popular support of the people. This will only get worse in the next year as the US success story escalates under Trump. They will need to try another pandemic or assassination or nuclear event to stop Trump which appears to be what they are trying very hard to accomplish.
The EU and Canada are really cracking down on their people- which is certainly a signal as to how worried they are.
History is clear of what happens when these unpopular governments get back into the corner by the population that doesn’t want them anymore.

They have to. If they don’t, Europe won’t have enough lamp posts to accommodate the demand.

The problem with that is that the US protects Canada, in fact we have paid for what little military they do have, and make up the difference between it and a real military with our own.. They are asking to be (assuming they will be) put under the protection of the Golden Dome. My biggest concern with that is that Canada would allow China to have access to strategic information about the Dome. They will be under total control of China and will give them access when China demands it.

I think President Trump began dropping the pretense with Trudeau. President Trump would throw some reality dirt in Trudeau‘s face as to his actual strength and importance on the world stage and just before Trudeau started crying President Trump would pat him on the back and let him sit back down at the grown-up table. Carney came in, thinking he had bigger balls and tougher messaging than Trudeau and found out differently within the first 10 minutes with President Trump. Xi Jinping understands what Art…er…Mark Carney clearly does not – in North America, the U.S., not China, is the dominant player and short of war, Xi cannot provide enough of a counterweight for the feckless Carney to posture against the United States. If the U.S. announced tomorrow that it had taken possession of Greenland, Carney could do nothing, for all the invocations to NATO articles whose financial obligations Canada is not meeting even today. Perhaps Xi might provide Canada more windmills to tilt at, who knows.

I disagree. I have been following the Promethean Action group for several months and never once inferred from their videos or newsletters that President Trump’s policy agenda was focused on destroying the City of London’s banking cartel.
The Promethean Action groups underlying theme is that President Trump recognized the EU-UK globalist alliance as historically being the major driver behind most western geopolitics for over a century. Thus, their influence and control of U.S. monetary, economic, and geopolitical policies had to be broken in order to successfully implement domestic MAGA policies..

I just now returned home from an appointment and wound up talking politics with a very intelligent and very well informed 30-something that was working at the desk- that I know well enough to talk politics with.
She was furious about what our country has been driven to and that she now works her ass off and lives every day wondering if Social Security will be there for her. This is her fear and the fear of the young people. They have A LOT of fears and they are openly furious about the steaming pile getting handed to their generation to then attempt to survive in.
This why they’d like to see the Boomers all go retire and go away (she said this and not so nicely).

As a boomer, father of 4 sons, I have to agree with what you’ve said. A lot of us didn’t learn or retain the lessons of our parents who lived through economic depression, a world war, where everyone on it this country had to sacrifice in their daily lives to support the war effort. Or maybe rejected those teachings because their upbringing was left entirely to the government school systems ( socialist controlled)
The concern over Social Security, “not being there for me”, is not a new idea(although it’s becoming more prevalent). In my 20’s ..far back into the last century, I had little trust in the SS system, because at its nature…it is socialist which I believe will always fail in a free market republic.. So I almost always had a second job to fund my retirement. I even wrote to my senator at the time Inouye, to ask if I could voluntarily withdraw from the scheme.
My concern.was premature, yet I still believe it will fail to deliver what it has promised at some point ( unless our nation goes the way of Canada, ugh.) Then we’ll all be dependent on Nanny.

My problem is when a good information source becomes committed to a single, explanatory narrative. I think you always have to simultaneously hold several possible narratives, because you can always find or interpret data to fit your one narrative, whether it’s right or wrong.
Over the past year, several sources with a history of presenting good research, or offered interviews with a spectrum of knowledgeable but disagreeing people, have become less useful to me because they’ve narrowed their content to fit a single narrative to explain everything.
It’s not whether or not there’s a conspiracy. It’s that there are many conspiracies, always, by different interests, mostly in competition with each other but sometimes temporarily served by periods or areas of cooperation. And most of these groups, like black holes in space, have remained invisible for generations even as their influence over events has been evident.
I think we forget that everything there is is someone’s opinion, there is very little left now that is concrete and factual.

I think Al-Jazeera is pretty much correct on this. I’ve visited Iran several times until 1978.
However, one of the analogous premises is wrong, which undermines slightly the conclusion. That is the attack and regime change in Libya. That was driven by Clinton and the Globalists she carried the water for.
That was entirely economic. Libya was a very strong economic kingdom. They enjoyed the highest living standard of the African continent. Free education and health care ( free as in government paid for from petroleum revenues). They also had a very large holding of physical gold stocks. They refused to Kow-tow to the globalist bankers and did not require or attempt to foreign exchange clearing through the IBC.
Think of it as protection money. So, the U.S. arm of the globalist mafia, as directed by Clinton, took out their leader, and the gold disappeared.
Libya was not a religious theocracy, like Iran.
Why another unneeded war? More nation building?
It’s really hard to know where to draw the line in the 21st century. There are no more county vs, country wars when it comes to the threats to the U.S.. It’s mostly by shielded proxies.

In Canada, the truckers had the beginnings of just that kind of noise and action to get a change in their govt but they were squashed because not enough citizens were brave enough to join them. Once their govt was allowed to take their money via their bank accounts, everything stopped. This is what should now be gearing up again but even larger.
Carney got elected imo not by vote but because he was installed. Not enough voters had the courage to vote against him, election stealing happened and the opposition did not put up a good candidate who actually could win the election.
It would be a huge noise made if Alberta actually had enough people vote to become independent of Canada and maybe become part of the USA. Drastic and probably not achievable, but the scare it would put into the govt. might just be enough to rally the people into choosing a real PM for a change.

And the former is far less stable demographically and religiously than Russia at this point.
Dare I say, that religiously, Russia today is closer to America than Europe is. Christian, industrious, pragmatic, and predominantly caucasian.

And those linkages are the underpinnings of a good friendship. Not brothers, but friends.

If Canada doesn’t turn back to common sense the end result will probably be Alberta and likely Saskatchewan separating from Canada. While the oil companies are concerned with their quarterlies, a proper government is concerned with its defensible perimeter 25 years in the future.
Likewise with Greenland and the opening of the Arctic to Russian icebreakers, as well as the long-established fact that Soviet missiles were poised to come over the North Pole as the shortest route. We had at one time about 20 bases on Greenland.
I see Greenland as a gambit or leverage point to help crack NATO, and thus the EU dictatorship’s lethal grip on Europe, as well as part of reestablishing hemispheric defense along with Venezuela, long neglected in order to fight another nation’s wars in the sandbox. Greenland and the Bering Strait proffer a union of sorts between Russia and America; were we to further ally with Visegrad (Eastern Europe), we could go on to restore Europe and the Isles to sovereignty, and from there save the Commonwealth.
Iran, likewise, proffers detente with both Russia and China, and a gateway to BRICS rather than simple adversarial disruption. Restoring a lawful, legitimate government to secular, Zoroastrian Iran would secure both Russia’s main Caspian INSTC corridor to the Arabian Ocean, and the Iran-China pipeline recently completed. (Note how the first move on Trump’s chessboard was a base in Armenia, by the Caspian Sea.)
Iran could then join the Sunni nations in the Abraham Accords; once the Palestinians are moved to Somaliland (that is what the Minnesota down payments were for), Eretz Ysrael could begin in earnest as it already has in Cyprus to become a regional power rivaling its four larger neighbors. There are plenty of other diaspora populations, and Somaliland is a near equivalent of the Palestinians’ current environment, more hospitable than already overcrowded Jordanian tents, and open to development wealth-building for that mismanaged, cash-strapped region. Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and a potential Kurdish homeland and ally also beg for reform once the jihadist economy is gone, to counter Turkish machinations. Let Israel busy itself with its own backyard, that is what they destabilized their neighbors to achieve.
Please forgive the long post, but I see Trump’s Chessboard as a remedy to Brzezinsky’s Devil’s Chessboard; the fracturing of the UN Agenda 2030, EU/NATO, the Migration dark pools and rigged elections, and a weakening of the Banksters’ BIS/IMF grip is existential to the salvation of White civilization and her peoples, the very peoples who chose the Christ as their God.

I’m having trouble seeing the “Greater Israel” portion.
Canada has always been a country of middling people. They do excel in the hockey rink and the actual working class of Canada is glued to hockey.
There is no way Canada can come back from their growing dependence on China because they have never been the driver of their own economy and China has decided they are an easy mark for an inroad to enable the Communist dream. That would be One Worldwide Communist government with China holding all of the political cards.

PDT won’t allow China to get too deeply embedded in Snow Mexico. He’ll likely force the issue over the military protection the US provides Canada. Provided the SCOTUS gives him a favorable ruling on tariffs, he’ll bankrupt Canada quicker then they already are headed that way and stick it to China with even higher tariffs
We can also not let Canada into our new and shiny Golden Dome either.
Its’ far better to solve issues with diplomacy and avoid starting kinetic wars with peer rivals. Our experience of our inability to win wars against multiple third world countries for 30+ years is a solid reference point of the necessity to change course.
Our MIC is decades behind on advanced weapon technology. We don’t even have surge capacity for the antiquated systems currently available. Unless defense plants were nationalized to reduce per unit manufacturing costs, we couldn’t afford the volumes needed to survive in any event.
The Iron Dome is proven ineffective, the only difference of calling the domestic version “Golden” is the exorbitant costs. Its’ a golden basket of cintracts for the MIC companys’ executives and shareholders.
Not holding my breath on the SCOTUS for a favorable decision on that one.
Aside from China doing military drills, China is still supplying the Canadian Fentanyl labs with the raw chemicals for that poison. Look at any city in the northern US and fentanyl ODs are still occurring at record levels. The northern border with Canada might as well not exist as freely as that garbage is still apparently pouring in to the US from the north. Makes me wonder of that bioweapon isn’t part of Canada’s “trade” retaliation.

The Canadian military had troops in Wuhan fall of ’19. Recall their very ill service members returning from their war games to Canada and infecting their fellow service members?
