Amid all the banter, opinion, negotiations and high-brow conversations about what should happen to end the Ukraine-Russia conflict, one element remains undiscussed: What do the Ukrainian People want?
Current ‘President’ Volodymyr Zelenskyy, installed as an outcome of western influence operations, extended his term in office by cancelling Ukraine elections. His elected term ended 18 months ago, and he has not left office. The various EU/NATO stakeholders did not want the authentic voice of the Ukrainian people to impede on the proxy war against Russia, and so they supported the election cancellation.
Now, the element never discussed by WEF/NATO or EU officials is what the citizens of Ukraine want. From the position of Russian President Vladimir Putin, this non-democratic ‘democracy’ paints Zelenskyy as illegitimate – one of the baselines that affirms the position not to negotiate with him.
Within Ukraine,there are very visible signs the citizens no longer support Zelenskyy; however, that would be an inconvenient factor to introduce to the conflict equation, so it is simply avoided in the discussion. Western media avoid it.
As an outcome, a lot of people watching things unfold do not understand the context that Zelenskyy is in a weak position domestically with sentiment within Ukraine turning sharply against ongoing war. The MSM won’t report on it, and the neocon “influencers” won’t either. The focus is on Russia bad.
From both past and present comments by President Trump, the intransigence of Zelenskyy, in combination with his strict authoritarian, some would say ‘Nazi’-like sentiments, positions the Ukranian leader as somewhat of a difficult person to deal with. However, in the most visible sense, Zelenskyy is an amalgamation of interests that float in the background.
Beyond the civil war that existed in Ukraine long before Vladimir Putin stepped in, the USAID operation in Ukraine installed Zelenskyy. The Intelligence Community apparatus, as deployed by the U.S. State Dept., was the tool to manipulate popular public opinion.
This is the tenuous ground upon which Zelenskyy stands. Propped up originally by leftist American government intents, he was then increasingly supported by European leaders once President Trump took efforts to withdraw the U.S. proxy status.
With President Trump openly wanting to withdraw U.S. support, the beneficiaries of the funding -specifically the U.S. Congress, Senate Foreign Relations and Intelligence Committees- went bananas. These are the same entities who originally supported the USAID/CIA operations within Ukraine.
NATO, the EU, The United Kingdom, the global intelligence apparatus, the leaders of U.K, France, Germany et al. – all use the narrative that Russia must be feared in order to justify their position for more war and hostility.
In the background, the financial companies/banks who fund political leadership also do not want resolution without security guarantees for their lucrative financial investments. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, French President Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Finnish President Alexander Stubb are set to join Monday’s conference, to ensure those financial stakes are maintained.
Yet the question needs to be asked again…
Who is representing what the Ukrainian people want?

The Ukrainians I’ve talked to in the U.S. think that they are going to win. The U.S. media and politicians are perhaps a little more subdued but still anti-Russia.
I caught some of Mark Levin on that “Stalinist” “PeeUtin” this evening, and it was gaggable. He claims that Russia is on its economic knees, suffering way more losses than Ukraine, that Putin always lies and wants the USSR territory back, wants all that great “rare earth” that Ukraine has, and breaks agreements e.g. Minsk. And he’s mild compared with legacy media. Levin also spent some time “analyzing” the “fake-MAGAs” and “isolationist pacifists” who seem to be pro-Russia.

Apparently, “we” are not getting the facts from the media here (well, some of us aren’t anyways, or maybe “we” are, but there’s an agenda in play.) Because recently, a local religious leader whom I shall not name (grandma’s rules) referred to President Putin by using a common vulgar Polish word in public. And more than once I seem to recall prayer intentions in more than one church to stop the violence in Ukraine using language that seemed to imply Russia was the “bad guy” … although in at least one or more of the churches, someone must have complained because afterwards, the prayer was for peace in both Ukraine and Russia (and Israel, and the US.)
Disclaimer: I have no Eastern European ethnic heritage, neither Russian nor Ukrainian etc., and I basically am in favor of praying for peace everywhere without using disparaging language… if we do have enemies, we are to pray for them (“bless those who curse you, pray for those who persecute you”) … so I prefer praying for peace, and for conversion, and for freedom, justice, etc.

Ukraine is a 99% Orthodox Russian Christian nation that “elected” a Jewish Porn Performer as it’s President who doesn’t even speak Ukrainian. I don’t think they are capable of knowing what they want. I read an article in a Jerusalem newspaper a while back that bragged about the 800 or so brave Jewish soldiers in the Ukrainian Army (which numbered close to 900,000 men). When Zelensky shows up at the White House, he should be handed a peace agreement document (with whatever terms that President Trump and Putin have agreed to).
He should be told to not only sign it, but to publicly support it and then be asked if he will do both.
If he refuses, he should immediately be arrested, transported to Guantanamo, incarcerated there awaiting his trial for all the crimes that he has committed (if nothing more than for the billions of dollars that he and his handlers have embezzled).
Even if he agrees to cooperate, he should still be taken into custody, sent to Guantanamo and kept there until the war is completely settled and a new government has been installed by the United States, or elected by the Ukrainian people. And maybe he should be tried in any case.
Simultaneously, the United States military should descend upon Ukraine, seize all the major other players there who have committed crimes in conjunction with Zelensky, transport them all to Guantanamo as well, and like Zelensky, each being held there awaiting a trial.

I speak for myself. All my grandparents are Ukrainian. My wife is Ukrainian. My guess is that z concedes nothing because without the diversion of war, he can’t hide the fact that he betrayed Ukraine and has been as corrupt, or more so than those who came before him. Summary: In the early 00s, Russia began producing a lot of media that “othered” Ukrainians or dealt with fighting/invading Ukraine.
Also, a large gas field was discovered in Ukraine (and more were being looked for) that would need fracking to be recovered. Russia didn’t want Ukraine to produce their own gas so they spread the “fracking bad” rumors in Ukraine. They were being told that Americans didn’t care if Ukrainians died from fracking, that we just wanted the gas.

More than 1 million have perished in Ukraine, 8 million+ left the country . To this day, they are forcefully conscripting their own citizens to go directly to the front lines. These prisoner swaps that are happening, dead included, Zelenskyy hides their names in order to bypass taking care of the families of the soldiers. They use the excuse that they can’t be identified. Not all but lots of them. Ukraine doesn’t have the money to support these families.
I seem have followed a similar path to yourself over the past years and have the same conclusions. With the continuing Ukrainian slaughter, no other word for it, their dead is probably over 1.2M by now with the Russians perhaps 200k, these numbers reflecting the amount of artillery type weapons the sides have. Artillery known to the Russians as the God of War.
The Ukrainian elites, and there are thousands of them, have a much better home for money than dead soldiers’ families, their own pockets.
Look around where the “Color Revolution Operators” have worked to make their mark . . . the people that were going to have a government imposed upon them . . . look at Romania, for example, how they fought off the Ceausescu regime and wrested control of their country but in recent months we have seen where the Romanian people are told they can’t have the person they elected . . . that’s just one example. Will the Romanian people EVER be able to dislodge NATO from their land once the base is completed and manned?

It’s difficult question, as the Ukrainian population is actually two disparate groups….the population in the east which is or aligned with Russian heritage, s the population inthe west, which is more ‘Polish’ aligned, rife with Azov, ‘Nazis’ and ‘Ukrainian’ loyalists. There was a civil war in that country for a reason. Considering the political strife and military actions of the past decade or more, I suspect that the eastern population would prefer joining the Russian Federation, as they have already voted to do so. The western population would prefer to remain as Ukraine. Either way, I suspect all of them want elections and a new president.

The majority of western Ukraine was part of Poland between the World Wars with (Czecho)Slovakia, Hungary and Romania holding smaller slivers in that time frame. In 1945, after World War II, Crimea was officially designated as an autonomous republic within the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic. POTUS is a champion of the common hardworking people — even in other countries. I have wondered why he doesn’t make this point.
