I’m going to try and keep this short.
You can tell from the transcripts of the testimony from ICIG Michael Atkinson that at the time of his testimony, September 19, 2019 and October 4, 2019, the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) was not in a classified session; simply closed-door.
In fact, during the October 2019 deposition, Ranking Member Devin Nunes went out of his way to clarify the status of the hearing itself. Chairman Schiff reemphasized this was not part of the impeachment inquiry, simply a hearing to clarify questions from Republicans to ICIG Atkinson about the nature of the complaint created by CIA whistleblower Eric Ciaramella.
This is interesting, because that means at the time of the hearing itself in 2019 any one of the members could have immediately gone to the microphones and discussed all of the information gained from within the questioning. They didn’t.
Later on, Chairman Adam Schiff classified the Atkinson testimony in order to bury it. The Lawfare impeachment crew, led by Adam Schiff, Jerry Nadler, Mary McCord, Dan Goldman, Barry Berke, Stephen Castor and Norm Eisen also weaponized the “ongoing investigation” classification to keep the CIA/ICIG report hidden during the impeachment effort.
President Trump was not even allowed to see/review the classified IC IG information that was being used to impeach him.
Now, as you can see from the attendance above, John Ratcliffe was present for both Atkinson depositions. Despite his immediate silence, we know John Ratcliffe was concerned about the content within ICIG Atkinson’s statements as he relayed in a series of questions during a public hearing December 9, 2019 {SEE HERE}.
Ratcliffe questioned both Dan Goldman and Stephen Castor who were part of Adam Schiff’s staff and present during the October 2019, testimony of ICIG Atkinson. WATCH THIS:
.
John Ratcliffe knew all of the details from ICIG Atkinson’s testimony because he was present and part of the questioning during both sessions.
♦ Here’s where it gets interesting.
Following the failed impeachment effort (Senate acquittal), President Trump fired IC IG Michael Atkinson April 3, 2020, and then nominated John Ratcliffe to the position of DNI to replace Acting DNI Ric Grenell.
The ICIG investigation of the alleged claims by CIA whistleblower Eric Ciaramella ended during the impeachment inquiry. Following the impeachment acquittal, and following the subsequent firing of Atkinson, all of the ICIG work product returned to the custodial review of the ODNI.
DNI nominee John Ratcliffe was confirmed by the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence on May 21 and sworn in on May 26, 2020. John Ratcliffe was now a constitutionally confirmed DNI with access to the full record and work product that led to the previous impeachment effort.
Why didn’t DNI John Ratcliffe release the ICIG investigative material and CIA whistleblower report?
Why did it take another six years and DNI Tulsi Gabbard to discover, dig out, declassify and release the material that was in the custodial review of DNI John Ratcliffe back in 2020?
Congressman Ratcliffe was in both Atkinson depositions during Sept/Oct 2019, and he knew the impeachment allegations were false. He essentially called out the HPSCI Democrat staff in December of 2019. Congressman Ratcliffe became DNI in May 2020 and knew the entire background of the IC IG material that was now at his fingertips.
Ratcliffe knew President Trump was set up.
Why didn’t John Ratcliffe release the evidence of it in 2020?
.
I might also note that following the 2022 midterm election, Republicans took back control of the House in January 2023.
Why didn’t HPSCI Chairman Mike Turner (2023/2024) release the Atkinson transcripts to the public? Why didn’t HPSCI Chairman Rick Crawford (2025-present) release the Atkinson transcript in 2025, without the request of DNI Tulsi Gabbard.
To be fair, former HPSCI Chairman Mike Turner might say that back in 2023 without the underlying CIA/ICIG report, the explosive Atkinson testimony didn’t have context…..
…. But that brings us back to the question of why DNI John Ratcliffe didn’t release the CIA/ICIG report as soon as he took office in 2020.
Has the statute of limitations tolled?

Sundance, doing the work the media is supposed to do. Thank you.
Third party time. An America First party!
The media ship that should have been reporting these kinds of things sailed a long time ago.
Get your “news” from a variety of sources and form your own opinions.
Trust but verify (as much as you can).
They knew, they were complicit in the ongoing “get Trump” saga.
Also, why hasn’t Schofield and this group been arrested for a coup attempt? Uniparty wanted this.
Schiff.
My wife had Newsmaxx on when I walked into the room….some daily news show called Bianca Across the nation. They appeared to be halfway through talking about the work that Tulsi released and someone wondered aloud about what kind of legal actions Trump may be able to take as in expunging the impeachment effort that was brought against him. Knee-jerk reaction from a panelist was “That didn’t work against him so what legal action could he take?
Interesting question.
Recoupment of all expenses related to his defense plus damages.
That’s how WFB’s conservative party and NR started, but they lost focus and drifted left over time, as is too often the case in politics.
Why? Eventually, then we’d be stuck with no better than 3 corrupt grifting parties! No thanks.
decepticons everywhere
we are where we are at now because
we voters were complacent for many reasons
we were working to support our families
and only had time for the 10 PM news
and we trusted the media
then we find out they have all been lying to us
then we find out the dems are mostly crooks
we then trust the republicans
then we find out……..
Excellent succinct summarization, Amjean!
Now we know and what we do from here on out determines America’s future.
So…here’s the question:
What do we do about it?
Vote?!?!
Does anyone on these pages think any of our elected officials fear the bi-annual poll-exercise?
Or is the problem more immediate?
1) There is no unified and organizational efforts to march on Washington D.C to express our extreme displeasure, and
2) Everyone is too afraid of what happened on Jan 6th…the very outcome the Democrats and Socialists hoped for.
the only thing I can think of is
to join your local republican party
and force them to look at the issues
they probably don’t even know half of what is going on
find out who supports MAGA
then donate, campaign, etc. for them
I suspect for the most part, candidates are former
HOA and/or school board members who have huge
power complexes and only care about themselves
however, good candidates can sneak in
we have to identify them
support them
hold their feet to the fire if we can get them elected
the issue is the republican party
they don’t write the bills, read the bills
and only pass what they are told to pass
under repub party threats to withhold funding
for next election, committee assignments, etc.

Exactly what I’ve been saying to others for years. The problem currently, though, is our kids, etc., and all the generations behind ours are basically in the same quagmire. Even worse, I’d say. They have been dumbed down beyond our understanding, and they have no comparison to see or comprehend that with, so they are even less equipped or prepared to bother jumping into the fray or even paying attention. Drugs and mental issues, too, way surpass what we all had, or ever heard about, during our generations. All of this damage to society was purposeful, and now we are seeing why. They are not.
This article has a HUGE flaw. It does not make clear WHY whatever was omitted was significant. I for one do not know why this is a problem. Sundance clearly thinks it is, but gives no clear clues why it would be.
A HUGE ‘Information Gap’ problem.
The impeachment used testimony from a whistle blower that is a PROVEN LIAR! And YOU don’t see a problem with that?
In other words….a government employee lied to the government to take down a sitting President…..and those he lied to were in on it!
Do you want to be held accountable for something you are innocent of while someone who supposedly has credibility is lying to authorities to put you away?
Do you get it now?
Then they took the documentation of that and hid it…..sealed the testimony and classified it.
And…..it appears that Ratcliffe knew all along…..could have brought this all out numerous times……but instead waited until Tulsi came upon the information…..and in doing so has helped the deepstate, the crooks, the perpetrators, the coup traitors, whoever they are reach the statute of limitations so no one is help accountable….again thanks to Ratcliffe ensuring this was not found or came out until years later on purpose and by design.
And…..in summary then…..you could say in a establishment kind of way….that Schiff amd Ratcliffe were working together…..even if they weren’t because both wanted this information buried….at least for a certain amount of time.
This makes me wonder why DJT put Ratcliffe in charge of the CIA in his 2nd term….
Agree!!!
How about reading a few of SD’s prior articles to get a bit of context?
The fact that the false whistleblower conspired with Schiff to create a complaint that was not allowed to be public isn’t clear enough? Frankly, any impeachment of any President cannot proceed if some things are “classified”. It’s too important for America and if it can’t be done without EVERYTHING being available to us, then it shouldn’t happen!
Lying under oath (penalty of perjury) would make all of “whistleblower’s” testimony unbelievable, and there would be no case. As there wasn’t a case anyway.
Perhaps there is an explanation for these people’s behavior here that we haven’t explored.
Tulsi Gabbard has no children.
Ratcliffe does, Nunes does. Turner does and so does Crawford.
All of the people who could have released this information appear to have had progeny that could be threatened, except for Tulsi.
People will do many things to protect their children. Just sayin’.
Trump openly loves his granddaughter. She was prominently displayed during the SOTU and other ads during the first 100 days. Not so much lately. Could his recent changes in his agenda be the result of threats to her?
“If” that was the case.
I’ve worked on Capitol Hill. I was not a Congress critter.
Once you’ve seen behind the curtain, it can’t be unseen.
It’s all about:
Power and money
and
Money and power.
Then resign.
And…..there is more TRUTH to what you are saying than what people want to believe!
DC…..the swamp…..the establishment and all the corrupt deepstate rats in amongst all of this………and all the IC and other ugly actors…….
Will do ANYTHING to remain in power….have control…….and keep us from knowing the ugly truth!
Congress creates unconstitutional rules to run their own corruption without consequences.
People will do many things to protect their children.
Especially when the lawfare threat of court could bankrupt most people and ruin the lives of anyone and their family.
if one is in office
and has their children threatened
then resign
do not betray your country
So why is Ratcliffe now the head of the CIA? Did he blackmail his way into it? I think everyone in the federal cesspool must be removed so we can start over, all staffers are included in that removal.
The staffers are the real control people, and they never leave. Might be time to fix that.
I’m thinking “keep your friends close and you enemies closer”. President Trump knew what he was doing when he put Ratcliffe as head of the CIA and Kash Patel as head of the FBI.
That’s what I’m also thinking. I don’t understand including Kash in your observation, though.
Well done, Sundance.
Quid, pro, quos all over DC
Sundance,
Wenstrup gets a pass being the hero surgeon .
He decided to quit to spend time with his family in a district where he was Guaranteed reelection for life if he so chose. That could be admirable. Or not.
I had one private face to face with him and he is a Shark.
Please don’t give him a pass.
TWO Buckeyes on that Committee did nothing.
They bring shame to Ohio.
To me the more important question is how can President Trump not understand this, and if he does why did he appoint him to his cabinet?
I’m hopeful that a similar stash of documents will be uncovered, declassified, and publicized with regard to the J6 fedsurrection. It is pathetic that no one has been remediated for this clearly intentional set up resulting in loss of careers, families, reputations, homes, even lives, not to mention lost moments such as dying loved ones or births of children.
And the lunatic left is still throwing this event out in public as if it were real. It was real – a real deep state operation.
So my question is; why did Trump appoint Ratcliffe again in his cabinet ?
More excellent insight from Sundance. To the “issue” of John Ratcliffe’s passivity when he could have stood up for full disclosure, what we know is that he didn’t. Why not is less clear. Was there some sort of calculation that the time was not right”? Or was he just gutless? Was the full-scale corruption of the judiciary in Washington DC a factor, was a Democrat controlled House of Reps? Was Adam Schiff not a large enough target? Does Mr. Ratcliffe have a history of low commitment or low boldness? Occam’s Razor might probably say he lacks courage. Has he been an ally to Ms. Gabbard or a speed bump? And how does all of this interact with DoJ investigative activities in Florida? Too many questions remain.
See below. A threat to ruin you answers many questions.
My guess is that Ratcliffe was told by some lawfare lawyer associated with Schiff that it couldn’t be released. The reasoning was likely a lie but Ratcliffe couldn’t verify it all so he did nothing.
So much of this whole conspiracy was centered around “obstruction of justice”. If Trump fired someone or released documents, OoJ, if anyone talked about stuff, OoJ, if you criticized Schiff, OoJ, anything anyone did to try to stop this was labeled as an obstructionist and likely threatened with court actions costing them their life savings and the ability to work.
Being drug into court was a lawfare basic weapon and it worked. Unless you have the finances of PDJT what are you supposed to do? So many of the J6ers got hit with this same tactic.
Why not prosecute them now? What is the SoL for that particular activity?
Even on the Right…if we had a free press Ratcliffe, Stefanik, or Nunes would be asked and follow up……Why did you not expose the Sedition? Why did you turn your back on the President and the Country. The only person that has spoken up is SUNDANCE.
They ought to ask the Democrats that too…but they were the ones to put the plot together and need to be arrested.
IMHO Johnny didn’t bark because at that time and even in 2020 when he was over DNI, Johnny had no bite.

^ Explains to me what needed to be done to get through the silos and Trump made it possible for the new DNI, Tulsi. Read to see how hard it was before that.
JMO
I smell a Rat…
This is a harrowing indictment of John Ratcliffe’s competence, character, or both.
Trump should ask his CIA Director two direct questions:
a) If this was a closed-door, unclassified testimony, why didn’t you disclose it?
b) Why didn’t you release the CIA/ICIG report as soon as you took office as DNI in 2020?
Then fire him immediately. He’s either a moron, a coward, or a snake.
But guess what — Trump won’t do it. I bet he doesn’t even know…
“The Lawfare impeachment crew, led by Adam Schiff, Jerry Nadler, Mary McCord, Dan Goldman, Barry Berke, Stephen Castor and Norm Eisen also weaponized the “ongoing investigation” classification to keep the CIA/ICIG report hidden during the impeachment effort.”
“Ratcliffe questioned both Dan Goldman and Stephen Castor who were part of Adam Schiff’s staff and present during the October 2019, testimony of ICIG Atkinson. “
I’m confused, Stephen Castor served as Republican staff for the House Oversight, Intelligence and Judiciary Committees. This is his opening statement from the Dec 9 2019 hearing linked above…
Wasn’t so sure about Tulsi, being a Hawaii Democrat and all, but she’s been surprisingly competent and awesome. Outstanding job Ma’am!
There is no statute of limitations on a government coup. Which is still ongoing. Things are going to get kinetic. Pray my fellow creepers.
government coup

In the United States, there is generally no statute of limitations for the most severe crimes associated with a government coup, such as treason or rebellion/insurrection, meaning they can be prosecuted at any time.

While most federal crimes have a five-year statute of limitations, major offenses against the state are treated differently.
Crimes with No Statute of Limitations
Treason (18 U.S.C. § 2381): Defined as levying war against the U.S. or adhering to their enemies, treason has no time limit for prosecution and can be punished by death.
Rebellion or Insurrection (18 U.S.C. § 2383): Inciting, assisting, or engaging in rebellion against the authority of the United States has no statute of limitations.
Capital Offenses: Any federal crime punishable by death has no statute of limitations.

Related Offenses and Time Limits
Advocating Overthrow of Government (18 U.S.C. § 2385): While the crimes listed above have no time limit, advocating the overthrow of the government or conspiring to do so carries a 20-year maximum sentence.
Conspiracy (18 U.S.C. § 371): For conspiracy charges, the statute of limitations begins to run on the date of the last overt act in furtherance of the plot, rather than the date the plan was initiated.
General Federal Crimes: If a coup attempt does not trigger treason or insurrection charges, other related acts (like wire fraud or destruction of government property) might fall under the general five-year statute of limitations.

Key Considerations
Continuing Offense: A conspiracy is considered a continuing offense, meaning if actions to further or conceal the coup occur years later, the time limit has not started.
Fugitives: If the accused is a fugitive, the statute of limitations is tolled (paused).

How might these facts, and this evidence actually convince the left wing, liberals in the nation that their party is a bunch of crooks?
They remain in denial!
Yes. Why didn’t Ratcliffe come forward. DC has deep corruption in every corner.
I suspected John Ratcliffe to be a fence straddler who wanted to play both sides when he kept postponing that report which he was to provide shortly before Christmas of 2020 and Trump didn’t receive it until shortly before Biden was to take office. I can not recall the name of this very important xocument/report.
Two reasons Johnny didn’t Bark
He was either told to go along and was restrained or he is no different than all appointed to his positions who have spit in the Oath they took and this country.
I wonder what Trump thinks about all of the back-stabbers he is surrounded with?
Ok, so at least one of the right questions to ask is what does the IC have on Ratcliffe in order to control him?
Well, there is one good thing about this
Ratcliff knows where the bones are buried
Tulsi is digging up those bones as Ratcliff shows her where they are
Is the only thing that makes sense to me
