Elise Stefanik has written a book, “Poisoned Ivies.” It is about how our great American universities have become left-wing academies. It reveals how all the big wigs from the Obama administration got cushy jobs at Harvard, after he left office.
This lady is a rising star in the Republican party. It was a shame the president passed her over for his endorsement for Governor of New York. And it was a shame she decided to quit her seat in Congress, partly as a result. We need to support voices, who can effectively confront the left in this country, and do it so well.
It was more of a shame for Ms Stefanik to have firsthand knowledge of the coup against President Trump with the phony impeachment in 2019, then pretend for the next 6 plus years that she didn’t.
That is the real reason her $tar is rising.

I don’t think it is President Trump’s position, to attract supporters who follow him, that then turn around and attack the Republican Party and Republicans. For him to succeed, we need to build up the Republican Party, not tear it down. We need to win a majority in the House and Senate this year. Applying purity tests, that change from one minute to the next, is no recipe for success.
You may not like Stefanik for one reason or another, but she is one of us. And she wrote a book that exposes the left. If she was a closet leftie, would she have written such a thing? No. The major mistake she made, was believing and repeating some of the things certain people on this site were saying about Speaker Johnson. Felix, while the tackling of vote fraud remains a big issue, there have been multiple people here the last couple weeks wisely pointing out that the typical or “classic” factors of predicting a midterm election are very much in flux. so many of the usual signals are strange or contradictory and there are so many unprecedented events occurring in real time (and probably over the summer)… that we really cannot say, other than our own guts, what is going to happen in november.

LAW SCHOOLS AND BAR that teach lawyers – who eventually become judges – to align with criminals rather than uphold the law.
A report prepared to advise Congress in 2015 by the Congressional Research Service called “Impeachment and Removal” included “Misuse of Office for Improper Purpose” as one of the offenses that can result in impeachment and removal of judges. One of those improper purposes is when “behavior involves vindictive use of the office”. The reasoning used by the appeals court in slapping down Boasberg sure does sound like he has been engaged in using his office for vindictive purposes against the current President and his administration. So when is someone in the House going to write articles of impeachment against Boasberg?
Boasberg’s order to turn the aircraft around and return the illegal immigrants to the United States was overturned as illegal by the Supreme Court so Boasberg wants to prosecute DHS Officials for not obeying his illegal order!

One poor man was running ragged among three stations: the dining room itself, drive-through, and online/pick-up ordering.
He had no help: he took orders and filled them by himself!
His badge said “District Manager.”
We waited politely for a good time, although one person walked out, tired of waiting.
When he finally took our order, I said: “We admire how you are handling everything by yourself. Did three or four employees call in sick?”
His answer was appalling: “No, it’s Tax Time.” (???)
We were confused: “I am not sure that I understand.”
He sighed: “It happens every year. They get their tax refunds and they quit their jobs. Just the way it is ’round here.”
Unbelievable! So get your check from “Uncle Sam” and then live off that for a month or two!

My wife had a similar story happen with a “poor woman” who lived in squalor with 6 children. The woman had obtained a position at a local motel as a cleaner.
However, when she received a Social Security check after the death of her second husband (there were two, plus two other men, who fathered the 6 kids: the one was anonymous, as he was never seen again after the (drunken?) one-night stand), she immediately quit the motel job!!!
“I don’t need it no more ’cause I got this check!”
She could not understand that the check PLUS staying with the job would help to alleviate her poverty!

I was later indicted by Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel because I filed a lawsuit in Antrim County in 2020. One of her prosecutors told me directly that I was charged because I “started the train rolling.”
