Following a widely watched assembly of EU leaders, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announces that Britain will lead a “coalition of the willing” and the U.K. will put boots on the ground and planes in the air to create the “security guarantee” for a potential Russia-Ukraine ceasefire.
The Prime Minister did not specify any other European country who will align and join their military forces on the ground in Ukraine; instead outlining that additional military elements will be rapidly organized. PM Starmer stressed that U.S. military forces “must” backstop the EU military members and implied that Italian PM Meloni will only align with the principal of Italian military use if the USA is involved.
As secretary Rubio mentioned earlier in the day, the Ukraine/EU phrase “security guarantee” is more honestly described as “deterrence” or an insurance policy. Prime Minister Starmer and this EU ‘coalition of the willing’ are only willing to put their military into Ukraine if the USA will be guaranteed to come into the conflict if the ceasefire falls apart. This should not be a part of any reasonable consideration, given the 3rd parties (not Russia) that would intentionally seek to disrupt a ceasefire to suck the USA into battle. WATCH:

What I like are all the Ukrainians who “fled the war,” out marching and demonstrating in the street in the US, in support of US troops going to Ukraine to fight the Russian invasion. My first reacton is always “… and yet, here YOU are.”
Deport them back to Ukraine is what should happen to these cowards who fled.
UK can send all their new, fighting age males who have swarmed into their country by the millions in recent years.
Send them to the front lines and let them prove their allegiance to their new homeland.
It’s pretty obvious how the deep state is going to play this. There is absolutely no prospect of peace whatsoever as long as American money is flowing to Ukraine. But the deep state is going to tell Trump that a deal can be had without stopping the funding, and keep some sort of sham negotiation going on, all the while knowing that there will never be a deal, but telling a Trump that a deal is in the works.. This is how they hope to run out the clock on the Trump administration. Trump can stop the flow of money, and get a peace deal, but only by vetoing Ukraine spending.

That may be the deep state thinking, but the reality is that Ukraine is going to run out of soldiers at the rate they are going right now. Today 1300+ dead or wounded. Some days there are 2000+ casualties. Ukraine is scraping the bottom of the barrel on conscripts, giving them minimal training. Ukraine has run through 2 or 3 armies with the most well-trained soldiers gone except for some of their elite neo-Nazi regiments which have kept themselves alive and well behind the front lines.
I don’t think that Ukraine will survive another 3 years of fighting, no matter the plans of the deep state.
They were already on the verge of extending mandatory conscription to the 18-24 year old cohort.
Due to previous shenanigans, that cohort is extremely small.
Putting them into play takes them out of creating another generation of Ukrainians, and their society would be demographically doomed.
