Following a widely watched assembly of EU leaders, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announces that Britain will lead a “coalition of the willing” and the U.K. will put boots on the ground and planes in the air to create the “security guarantee” for a potential Russia-Ukraine ceasefire.
The Prime Minister did not specify any other European country who will align and join their military forces on the ground in Ukraine; instead outlining that additional military elements will be rapidly organized. PM Starmer stressed that U.S. military forces “must” backstop the EU military members and implied that Italian PM Meloni will only align with the principal of Italian military use if the USA is involved.
As secretary Rubio mentioned earlier in the day, the Ukraine/EU phrase “security guarantee” is more honestly described as “deterrence” or an insurance policy. Prime Minister Starmer and this EU ‘coalition of the willing’ are only willing to put their military into Ukraine if the USA will be guaranteed to come into the conflict if the ceasefire falls apart. This should not be a part of any reasonable consideration, given the 3rd parties (not Russia) that would intentionally seek to disrupt a ceasefire to suck the USA into battle. WATCH:

The NATO Charter specifically states that provisions of the treat activate ONLY if the territory of a NATO member is attacked.

It will require a Unanimous VOTE by NATO members to sanction a mission outside the physical borders of NATO. The US votes NO and Veto’s every motion that can be vetoed. Also, put European NATO members on notice that no US ASSETS supporting NATO can be used; i.e. money, troops, equipment, ships, bases, logistics, et al.
This removes even the remotest possibility of anybody using the NATO Treaty as a way to drag the US into a European lead disaster.
Now let the discussions and maybe negotiations begin on the “European Plans”.

From what I have read, Britain has something like 75,000 soldiers in their entire active duty army, not counting marines. France more like 120,000. How many troops do Starmer and Macron think they can send in?
I would be surprised if either could get more than a couple thousand troops deployed. I doubt they have the airlift and sustainment capability to do more even if they could muster the troops.
So what they would be sending would be a tripwire force that would be fodder to get the US pulled in.
And they are all trained in NATO tactics which the Ukrainians bitterly complain have not been helpful to them. UK, US, EU, and NATO have no troops that have ever been in a hot war with a near peer adversary. None have experienced a drone war. Their equipment – tanks, artillery, air defense systems, armored vehicles, missiles – has been able to be countered, even if any of them had sufficient numbers of war materiel.

Alex Krainer podcast and was quite impressed. I have been reading about the supposed rare earth mineral deal Z was going to sign Friday. Very intriguing, the duplicitousness, back stabbing, set ups, Starmer and Macron coming over to meet with Trump to show solidarity. Macron actually reached out and touched President Trump’s shoulder 4 times while he was sitting there, to convey such warm, palsy, fuzzy, feelings. All the time they both knew that Starmer had been negotiating the 100 year rare earth partnership with Ukraine and had Zelensky sign it 4 days before Trump was inaugurated. Might have been diplomatic if when it was brought up to trump by Zelensky, yes he suggested it to Trump, not the other way around, that it might be the moral thing to do that the Brits had signed the deal back in January. And basically we’re would be needed to for money and boots
on the ground.The Trump administration would be incredibly dumb to get into any deal with this band of desperate thieves, who would just as soon stick a knife in your back as speak to your face. NO! I am no legal rxpert but it seems common sense that if a NATO nation on its own or with cohorts decides to protect a nonNATO member they are on their own and if they bumble into war the rest of NATO is not obligated to join in the stupidity. Just a layman’s opinion

Zelensky admits that if Ukraine gets NATO membership, then he has “fulfilled his mission”. His mission is not to govern Ukraine. His mission is NATO membership for Ukraine, which would immediately trigger WW3.
The reason his mission is WW3, is because that’s the only scenario where he MIGHT survive. His only way out is if NATO comes in and takes over the fight with Russia directly.
That’s his plan, but realistically he would need the US in order to pull it off. Zelensky, and his Deep State handlers, are literally trying to initiate full-scale WW3, in an effort to cover up the largest money laundering scheme in history, and crimes against humanity for bioweapon development.
