FBI Director Kash Patel has selected Dan Bongino to be the Deputy FBI Director. The position does not need senate confirmation.
President Trump praised the selection on his Truth Social account [SEE HERE] and it will be a selection very well received by the conservative base of support.
President Trump: “Great news for Law Enforcement and American Justice! Dan Bongino, a man of incredible love and passion for our Country, has just been named the next DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF THE FBI, by the man who will be the best ever Director, Kash Patel. Dan has a Masters Degree in Psychology from C.U.N.Y., and an MBA from Penn State. He was a member of the New York Police Department (New York’s Finest!), a highly respected Special Agent with the United States Secret Service, and is now one of the most successful Podcasters in the Country, something he is willing and prepared to give up in order to serve. Working with our great new United States Attorney General, Pam Bondi, and Director Patel, Fairness, Justice, Law and Order will be brought back to America, and quickly. Congratulations Dan!”
The Fourth Amendment has been destroyed by legislative permission, and a complete lack of accountability for violations of law. Americans are no longer “secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures,” and “reasonable cause” warrants are no longer needed.
It should not be too much to ask for an FBI Director who respects the Fourth Amendment. Alas, in the real world of the Patriot Act, pragmatically we are well aware that every sub-silo and contractor within the FBI toolbox has access to this unlimited surveillance library.
Perhaps unbeknownst to most, the people advising President Trump on IC nominations also hold a vested interest in making sure the candidates continue to allow exploitation and position for the next phase, the introduction of AI.
I prefer an FBI Director who does not support FISA-702 warrantless searches of U.S. citizen data. Unfortunately, everyone in the orbit of President Trump providing the advice and recommending the candidates, do not hold the same view. Not a single one.
Support for the American surveillance state, is the common thread that runs through every nomination and selection.
I am used to being well outside the wire, looking at how the IC is weaponizing systems against us. I can assure you; they do not view Patel or Bongino as a threat.

You are too harsh on Bongino.
From the very beginning Bongino was one of the few who really tried to get to the bottom of the Spygate scandal, the illegal spying on Trump, Flynn, Papadopoulos and others.
in the early years of his podcast he dedicated his podcast almost exclusively to exposing spygate.
That’s why I became a regular listene although later I didn’t listen that much to the podcast.
I think he can be a great asset
Bongino is THE expert when it comes to Spygate aka Russiagate, the corrupt Mueller investigation and the deep state witch hunt against Mike Flynn.
Also, because of his Secret Service background he can help greatly in investigating the 2 Trump assassination attempts.
I followed Dan Bongino during Russia gate. He was good on that. It was in his wheel house. Last 4 – 5 years I only catch his show when the topic covers something he would be considered an expert on. In the end, for me, he is to intense as a daily show.
Both Kash and Dan have hit on the issues of 702 being weaponized against Americans, and any political voice that puts sunlight on the issues in this country. In Bonginos case, it has been a regular theme of his. He is just a podcaster, the best he can do is call out the issues. I think he has done that.
the reality is this. If you go out and declare you will dismantle the system, in this case the fisa court, you are not getting the job. That’s not happening.
Dan has said repeatedly that we have to get to the bottom of what happened and show the American people the truth. The only way we get real reform is by doing this.
I don’t think Dan Bongino would have taken the job, if that wasn’t what the result was going to be. Time will tell I guess.
One additional thought. I still have friends that believe trump is somehow a Russian agent. There are huge sections of our population that still believe this, and another huge section who don’t know the truth.
we’ve been giving a second chance with trumps 2nd term.
The reason why the American public is not fully aware of what has taken place, is because like me, most people hear posting probably haven’t done enough in the real world to tell their neighbors and fellow citizens the truth.
we have been given that second chance. Better start doing something with it.
Thanks for the reply.
We both know that we live in an imperfect world with flawed people.
Donald Trump, Elon Musk, Cash Patel, Dan Bongino or Sundance.
All of them come with flaws and errors and with things we disagree.
It’s not fair and not realistic o expect them to do the impossible. It’s fair to expect them to do their best.
I never was and I never will be a blind follower of anyone.
For example, Dan Bongino, told us to “take it ease” and to trust Jeff Sessions.
Big error but as far as I can see, he has learned from that error.
Sometimes we have to make a compromise to get 80% of what we want to achieve done and hope that we can deal with the other 20% later.
As long as there is a sincere effort to do that, I can live with it.
Yes, the people have to be shown the truth first before substantial change can happen because it’s only the people that can pressure and incentivize politians to enact that change.
If the people wouldn’t care enough about illegal immigration, not even President Trump could do anything.
I love this magnificent. Go kick some butts!
I respect Sundance, but I doubt he has read Patel’s book “Government Gangsters” or listened to Bongino’s podcast over the past several years. In the immortal words of that “great” Senator from New York who is currently under DOJ investigation, Chuck Schumer, I think they will both, with help from the DOJ, go after the IC, Deep State and other criminals “six ways to Sunday”. I just hope Sundance does not refer to them as “stupid” as he did last year to Senior Counselor to the President for Trade and Manufacturing, Peter Navarro, who so far has got Apple and others to invest over $1.6 trillion in the US over the next five years.
See ShipwreckedCrew’s Bongino endorsement below.
I doubt Navarro really had too much to do with Apple and others investing in the U.S. If you’re that big and want to continue to make the kind of money you are making you go with whichever way the wind is blowing. It’s a no brainer, just like last time Trump was in office, to invest in the U.S. I’m pretty sure they already had this figured out, probably didn’t take too much arm twisting.
What are you talking about? Navarro has been Trump’s senior economic advisor since 2016, except when the corrupt DOJ/J6 panel threw him in jail for four months. Dr. Navarro is one of the smartest economists around and Trump didn’t just come up with reciprocal tariffs and new tax cuts without Navarro’s blessing.
After reading this article, its pretty obvious Sundance has never listened to Bongino’s podcast. Bongino is the perfect man for the job.
I now have BPWS (Bongino Podcast Withdrawal Symptoms)!
He literally isn’t. Literally. Think about it.
Just an observation Bongino has read and cited CTH. I did not like his reply to Sundance on Parler…. If he gets nothing done in the FBI he’ll be as irrelevant as Fugazzi.
So, here’s this live show being pushed out.
It’s Demon Damon whatever his name is from Live From Studio 6 B, doing his part to help Dan humanize himself.

As with all the folks President Trump has brought into the fight or allowed his appointees to deputize … it all comes down to what those folks PHYSICALLY DO with the authority of their office.
Same goes for the Congress Critters. There is what they say to the other boys & girls in the locker room (good and bad) but it’s how they vote when it counts, which matters.
For myself, roughly June 2025 is the cut-off for assessment, which aligns with the hard start of the 2026 Campaign season.
All the actors are being placed for the dramatic production. I think when the curtain falls many will see we have been taken for yet another rhetoric filled ride. Not many options left after that.
Former DOJ prosecuting attorney weighs in.

“Bongino is the equivalent of chemotherapy for the body of the FBI.
“The SACs of each of the 54 Field Offices are going to report to him. I expect much of the bureaucracy between him and the those SACs is going to be wiped out — forced retirements and no replacements. A small handful of new FBI executive positions might be retained with new people in place picked by Patel and Bongino.
“But the Special Agent work force is going to shrink significantly as I think there could have been no stronger message sent to that work force that their jobs are not going to be what they have been for the past 10 years. Either get on board with the changes or get out.
“You are about to see play out — in a very compressed time frame — the real world version of “You got to break some eggs to make an omlett.” “
All of the back seat drivers disapprove. Nothing satisfies people these days. It’s not good enough that Trump won, the GOP has the House and Senate majorities, and people who are loyal to Trump are in the highest positions (unlike the first term). Well folks, if you’re such perfectionists and you’re unhappy about the choices, then run for President so YOU can pick the perfect people. Right? Aren’t you all tired of being negative about everything? Wasn’t the past 4 years, and the 5 before that, enough to make you sick of feeling miserable? Life is too short. Nothing is ever going to be perfect. Just appreciate better, for once.
Easy to be euphoric about this duo, but there must be prosecutions with results.
Dan will follow the Constitution. And he will take no shit from any corrupt bastard.
They’ve underestimated Trump this time. If Patel and Bongino aren’t the right people for their jobs then the right ones don’t exist. They’re certainly preferable to whom they’re replacing.
