FBI Director Kash Patel has selected Dan Bongino to be the Deputy FBI Director. The position does not need senate confirmation.
President Trump praised the selection on his Truth Social account [SEE HERE] and it will be a selection very well received by the conservative base of support.
President Trump: “Great news for Law Enforcement and American Justice! Dan Bongino, a man of incredible love and passion for our Country, has just been named the next DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF THE FBI, by the man who will be the best ever Director, Kash Patel. Dan has a Masters Degree in Psychology from C.U.N.Y., and an MBA from Penn State. He was a member of the New York Police Department (New York’s Finest!), a highly respected Special Agent with the United States Secret Service, and is now one of the most successful Podcasters in the Country, something he is willing and prepared to give up in order to serve. Working with our great new United States Attorney General, Pam Bondi, and Director Patel, Fairness, Justice, Law and Order will be brought back to America, and quickly. Congratulations Dan!”
The Fourth Amendment has been destroyed by legislative permission, and a complete lack of accountability for violations of law. Americans are no longer “secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures,” and “reasonable cause” warrants are no longer needed.
It should not be too much to ask for an FBI Director who respects the Fourth Amendment. Alas, in the real world of the Patriot Act, pragmatically we are well aware that every sub-silo and contractor within the FBI toolbox has access to this unlimited surveillance library.
Perhaps unbeknownst to most, the people advising President Trump on IC nominations also hold a vested interest in making sure the candidates continue to allow exploitation and position for the next phase, the introduction of AI.
I prefer an FBI Director who does not support FISA-702 warrantless searches of U.S. citizen data. Unfortunately, everyone in the orbit of President Trump providing the advice and recommending the candidates, do not hold the same view. Not a single one.
Support for the American surveillance state, is the common thread that runs through every nomination and selection.
I am used to being well outside the wire, looking at how the IC is weaponizing systems against us. I can assure you; they do not view Patel or Bongino as a threat.

Who would they view as a threat?
Us, probably.
Correct. Many years ago, I heard from an acquaintance that when he went to an FBI office for some reason I don’t recall and saw the security, he asked, “Who are you so afraid of?” and the person he asked pointed at him.
FIB office in Dallas used t/b right downtown in a nondescript office building. Abt 25 years ago they relocated to a geographically isolated complex built over by old Texas stadium about 25 acres w no local streets near it.
It’s gonna have to go. It started out corrupted!
Good question.
he could have easily picked Matt Gaetz
The word is Matt Gaetz is destined to be a Special Counsel.
Sources?
Gaetz named special prosecutor.
Who is a threat?
The ones they go after and take down, or attempt to take down.
Trump himself, Flynn, Giuliani, Bannon, Stone, et als.
People they wanted imprisoned and/or destroyed. Or dead.
I have always been ambivalent about Bongino. But time will tell.
He’s definitely a get things done guy.
Is the DOJ NSD still in place and manned ?
Is the FISA court still in place and manned?
Are the contractors still
working forusing the FBI/IC data bases?Has the SCOTUS called out and shut down radical federal judges legislating from the bench?
Is the CIA still using the FBI to circle around spying on Americans?
Eliminate these and slash the Executive bureaucracy by at least half and put the rest on notice as Elon is trying to do.
Now there is backup. They take down Patel they have a hardnosed backup to contend with.
I don’t believe Dan Bongino is a crook or will become a crook.
Comey and McCabe were disgusting dirty cops. Wray is a squirrelly rich guy., smug and arrogant.
If the FBI actually starts investigating real crime instead of creating crimes and then pretending they caught someone, it will be a step up for them.
Bongino takes a pay cut to take this job.
He’s not there for the money.
I wish him the best.

Someone that:
Who is that person/people?
People like Ken Paxton, John Eastman, a healthier Rudy Guliani….people the DS tried to completely ruin.
The reinstatement of Robin Gritz to head the FBI Academy — which in better days tried to instill values like honor, etc. — would be incredible. Along this line of thought, agents such as Peter S never went to the Academy but like many other FBI Agents went thru a back door from a certain other agency.
The ruination of the FBI was another institution on the Long March through so many of them, especially after the promised Fundamental Transformation.
Good info on how FIB was subverted….I don’t know how long it will take to fire the 30-40-50-60% that are corrupt….
We The People who just want to be left alone.
The quiet men
1. Authentic Christians
2. Authentic supporters of President Trump and the true MAGA agenda.
3. People who are willing to fight for enforcement of the plain language of the Constitution and Bill of Rights.
4. People who believe in the self evident truths expressed in the Declaration of Independence.
5. People who peacefully protest against rigged elections and the murder of babies.
I’m sure the list is longer but this will do for a start.
Congratulations to Dan Bongino on his appointment a great pick.
As a former USSS special agent he wrote a book on how to reform the USSS which he says is in need of radical reform. He should have been appointed to THAT. We’ll see if the guy who was follows his advice for USSS reform. Wanna’ bet he doesn’t?
Kash Patel had nothing to say when the 702 was renewed by congress. Total silence.
I would imagine there are some serious shock waves…on a Richter scale level…shaking the ground at the FBI. Their world is being turned upside down. “Not one of us” is how the conversations are probably going right about now in that tight community.
Patel and Bongino…the price paid for pawing through Melania’s undergarment drawer.
Godspeed, Dan. You’ll bring something to this fallen organization which has been missing for a long, long time. Watch your back 🙏🏻
I hope you are right.
There’s the word, Wvvet….
Hope.
Must not lose it under any circumstances, dear sir.
‘ Kash Patel had nothing to say when the 702 was renewed by congress. Total silence. ‘
SD:
‘ I can assure you; (the IC) do not view Patel or Bongino as a threat.’
So all is theater, producing uninformed MAGA exultations and fear in the uninformed on the other side.
Seeing this is a starting point to understanding what is really behind all that is happening.
Keep going, there is more to the picture…
There is no more of the IC that was.
Do not allow the perceived threat to your security to live rent free in your heads.
We The People are the IC.
I am confident that the guy who got shot in the head, and had to endure a FBI frat boy panty raid on his home, understands what is really happening.
The bastards hit me in ’99…
I want my personal documents back, you mf’ers…
You know, the one signed by President Clinton…
May God have mercy on their souls…
I have absolutely zero mercy for evil…
Kash Patel and Dan Bongino at the FBI…
Both of whom I trust to carry a firearm on behalf of the United States.
All good.
No pearl clutching here…

I upvoted you as your commenting has been articulate and measured. Here you are more passionate and though I don’t know your story on this I fully trust your opinion
This is what restoration of the rule of law looks like. It is not retribution. It is not personal. It’s just business. It’s a restoration of our Constitutional Republic, plain and simple.
It only appears to be retribution to those who have weaponized the very “law and order” that is being restored.
It’s not a revolutionary idea. It’s a counter-revolutionary idea.
The bad guys have been trying to overthrow our Constitutional Republic for decades. President Trump, a bunch of behind the scenes Patriots and we public out in the open MAGA supporters collectively said, “Not so fast.”
Only to those bad actors who are getting exposed and purged does the following statement apply:
“You tell them I’m coming and hell’s coming with me.”
MAGA uninformed is so right. On X the so called MAGA influencers are not only uninformed they are now MUSK. He pays them and they fawn over his every word. It’s sickening. Yep! Money changes everything
My viewpoint is, we are a little over 1 month in, and Trump is only now getting critical staff approved. So Patel didn’t skate through like some did.
Part of the game is to get the Executive picks through an approval process. If Kash was confrontational before getting approved, the media would attack and galvanize the politicians. A revolutionary candidate may have been rejected. Once through, they can be their own person, and we’ll see how reformist Patel can be.
The IC/702s and Patriot Act are like Tolkien’s One Ring of unimaginable power. Each new king thinks they are stronger than the last, but it eventually corrupts, and the only true win is to destroy it. It is so tempting to use the 702 back on the Democrats… I hope that is not Trump’s goal.
Many miss that Tolkein was writing about human nature. It will take some bravery and a good team to go after the illegal warrantless searches that the IC uses to gain power. FISA 702 may not be the One Ring, but it could be analogous to the Palantir which is just as capable of corruption in the wrong hands.
Cast it into the fire!
One ring to rule them all. Great analogy. Throw it in the cauldron of Mordor.
At the beginning, how many of these folks did we actually believe Trump would get in? Or how many would McConnell, Thume, etc. allow in?
We are definitely winning!
I have wrestled with this. The only rational thing I can generate is maybe they plan on using 702 process to keep tabs on the Deepthroat State as they are purged from their ratholes.
G’morning Jinxy, food for thought and to add an angle. IF 702 searches are able to stand up to rigorous legal scrutiny, then they can be used to entrap the deep state operatives. I’m okay with that. Hoist on their own petard and all that. Get them to squeal about the whole of the 702 program thereby getting both sides to agree that the program is shit and thereby easier for the program to be excised. A classic Trumpian win-win. Sure it’ll hurt the Deep-Snake F’ers but I won’t shed a tear for those bass turds.
Just some mental musings.
…steps off soapbox…
The way to end this crap is to turn their tools against them…
Screw them to the wall with them….
And once screwed….
NO MERCY!
Then the question becomes, do they have the courage to do that…….knowing the “7 ways to Sunday” and all that.
Don’t get out much, eh?
Try to at least frame the problem statement in context.
There are threats.
There is technology that collects, parses, analyzes, communicates huge amounts of threat data.
There is the Constitution that includes the Fourth Amendment.
There are Privacy Laws direct and suffused through major legislation.
There are political institutions and actors who use the threat data:
One. For situational awareness.
Two. For decision making.
Three. For risk analysis.
Four. For reactive and proactive action.
The threats do not go away regardless of the state of technology. And therein lies the fundamental problem: there is no absolute solution. The existence of these tools traces to real world security and safety risks. Shift the pendulum too far in any direction and, almost guaranteed, the risks and real world consequences escalate to unacceptable levels – one spy balloon at a time, one mass murder at a time, one Maidan Coup at a time, one fentanyl smuggle at a time, one illegal alien at a time, one USAID fraudulent money transfer at a time, one false FISA submission at a time, etc., etc.
There has to be a societally legislated and judicially supported concept for deciding where the fault line falls between security/safety and rights guaranteed in the Constitution. That does not exist presently outside the absolutist views that are all in or all out.
One. There has to be independent oversight
Two. There has to be process that is enforced
Three. There has to be societal discussion and voting for responsive representatives that establish the risk tradeoffs and consequent institutional direction.
Four. There has to be Constitutional review of the legal and institutional “implementation”.
Five. There has to be leadership and government operatives that follow the rule of law.
Palantir monitoring scale is not the primary concern. It’s secondary so long as there are external and internal threats and societal risk tolerance. What does the threat curve (as it relates to risk) even look like? That’s a starting point for assessing whether a given technology undermines Constitutional rights to a degree that is unacceptable. These considerations are inherent to the logic of situation.
Our political and judicial colossus has failed miserably in defining and controlling this risk challenge. In fact, it has been corrupted in service of completely un-Constitutional objectives. I agree that the 702 about query/database and associated FISA processes as currently practiced are not only un-Constitutional but are clear indicators of a serious breakdown in rule of law. It needs to be controlled or dismantled. That, however, does not relieve anyone of the responsibility to provide security and safety – do away with 702/FISA and something else will take its place. We live in a world of real threats.
Society and its political arm are going to have to tackle this bargain with the devil. If it doesn’t do so in a reasonable fashion that addresses the inherent trade-offs the system, our society will turn on itself. Risk analysis and trade-offs are challenges that confront all of us, every minute of our lives. We need to evolve a societal solution that at least creates a stable if dynamic political equilibrium in respect to these risk trade-offs – one that addresses both rights and security/safety. The political arm of our society needs to conduct this discussion/risk assessment openly and honestly.
Sundance you are usually right…I have followed this site since the Treyvon Martin case.
In this case I hope you are wrong…I hope Kash and Bongino do Gods work in restoring our rights under the US Constitution.
Maybe that restoration is a process.. They have gone so far down the rabbit hole. Getting ducks in a line, with the ultimate goal of undoing the warrantless fisa searches. It is hard to protect something not visible.. Going into a house without a warrant is a no no.. but data, on a vast computerized sea of information.. That is something most people are unaware of. Yes our data is ours..just like a house.. SMH.. If I have learned one thing here, SD is pretty much spot on.. whether I like it or not.
I agree
But how do you get someone they *would* view as a threat through the senate?
Seems like that’s the check
The Deputy FBI director does not pass senate confirmation
Hence, PDJT’s sidecar strategy I mentioned here a while back.
Cabinet level selections requiring confirmation are almost always a political compromise.
Deputies and others in the periphery of power are not. PDJT is quietly doing this throughout the departments.
Rubio did not orchestrate Gaza, and he is not orchestrating Ukraine. Look at those Trump sends there who are. Witkoff in foreign matters, Bove at DOJ, and many others, in other places.
Bongino has talked a tough game, on podcasts that do not threaten power. Now we’ll see where he really stands.
Tough talk on podcasts sells Merch. $$$
Like the red MAGA hats?
Purchasing MAGA hats from donaldjtrump.com are legal campaign donations.
Oldersoul is right-Bongino talks a tough game, but trust must be earned. Tough talk is useless unless it’s backed up with tough action.
I don’t trust Bongino yet, but I’m willing to keep an open mind about him. Bongino’s actions in this position will clearly demonstrate whether or not he is worthy of our trust.
We must remain prayerfully vigilant and patient.
I don’t have a problem with Dan Bongino in this position. Am I supposed to? Who else should Kash Patel have chosen that would be better than Dan? As I understand it, Dan loves our country, our Constitution (including the 4th Amendment), liberty, and true justice. From my point of view this is good news.
There are no other LEOs in the entire country qualified for this role?
Joe Arpaio still around? At least as a consultant…or thought leader…
Where did SD say he had a problem with Bongino in this position???
SD and Bongino had a falling out a while back. Bongino does not like SD and I assume vice versa.
I think some of Bongino’s “research” came from reading here at CTH. He did not give credit.
Bongino has never researched anything. He has only repeated the research of others.
And yes, most of his early research was taken without attribution from CTH.
Bongino was mad about me saying Rebekkah Mercer was using Parlor for a data-mining operation. He denied her money was behind it.
Eventually it came out that I was 100% correct. Dan remained angry about it.
Dance, love ya but have heard DB attribute you/cth more than once
If memory serves there were even clips posted on here of him doing so. Now, what might’ve happened since…
😉 And that is when I stopped
listening to him.
That said a lot about his character..😖
I haven’t forgotten. 😡
I watch his show every day and I read you every day. I remember him referencing/quoting you several times.
“Support for the American surveillance state, is the common thread that runs through every nomination and selection.”
and
“I can assure you; they do not view Patel or Bongino as a threat.”
But they SHOULD view them as a threat, for precisely the reason in the first quote. Now WE have access to the surveillance libraries. Now WE can rummage through THEIR NSA files, their phone calls and emails and text messages and bank records.
They were so sure they would always be in charge that they abandoned discretion long ago. Thus the flop sweat panic in their eyes. Soon many of THEM will know the sound of that FBI battering ram crashing in THEIR door at 3 AM. And all that laundered Ukraine money will not only not save them, but the records of it will convict them.
I bet many of them already have open-ended one-way plane tickets out. Get the tipoff and they’re gone. Sing it, “Don’t you know we’re riding on the Marakkech express ….”
If I had watched the deep state unconstitutional over reach, and suddenly found myself in a position to use those same authorities to get justice, and did not have an otherwise effective means of achieving justice, I would consider using those same tools against them, and perhaps later figuring out how to reinstate said protections on a more permanent basis. Could that be happening here?
Spot on. I did not see your post before I made mine.
Dan gave up millions in future income to take that job. He is a PATRIOT.
And the fact that Director Patel and the POTUS felt they had to recruit outside of the agency to get a Deputy Director they could trust speaks volumes about how corrupt the leadership in the FBI currently is.
Unless Patel and Bongino go out to the most remote FBI posts and select supervisory personnel who were blacklisted by the DC fbi “leadership”, they’ll continually deal with half effort and slow walking trash.
The same agents who lied about investigating the raping of little girls.
The same agents who “investigated” Donald Trump over an accusation they knew was utterly false.
The same agents who ignored Antifa.
The same agents who thinks it’s ok to knock on someone’s door to ask about words on a twitter post.
The. SAME. Agents.
Yep, Ka$h has THEIR backs.
Sundance, daily reader for 10+ years here.
Honest question: Can we exist as a superpower moving forward if we aren’t at the forefront of AI? Might other countries steamroll us?
I don’t quite understand it all, but it sounds like a humanity changing moment, right?
I’m as much of a ‘Don’t Tread on Me” as anymore, but if AI’s going to radically change the world forever, who do we want be in charge of it?
If AI & the surveillance state are inevitable, are we better off with Trump & a Trump SCOTUS here for it?
His stance is more against it being pointed at the American people
Lifecoach point is never the less valid. Elon wants open source not for profit, and understands that this is only, at best, and aid to preventing abuse. So yes, it is a very valid question as to how to prevent AI programs from tampe;ing human privacy and rights. Yet we must develope and understand it well, as it will be happening and at an exponential rate.
The TV series, “Person of Interest” was excellent by the way, and got into the power of information, and potential abuse of it. It is curious that is was canceled and rushed to a conclusion, when it really could have continued it very popular streak.
AI will be George Orwell’s Big Brother on steroids. Can the matrix be far behind? They will digitize the money system and voila we are now slaves to the state. Getting off the grid will be nearly impossible. Wow I was hoping it wouldn’t come in my time. I wonder how long it will take? Even Trump seems complicit in the process. I hope I am wrong, but only time will tell.
Ai and the surveillance state is inevitable.
It’s pretty much already here.
I keep telling everyone to stop bitching about whether you want it or not, start figuring out how to get around it.
You’re wasting time and energy on trying to fight through the blob.
Go around it.
It’s when President Trump leaves that’s the problem.
The surveillance state effectively removed the 4th amendment, with Crapweasel Congress’s Patriot Act, with the lack of action on FISA-702 searches now turbo boosted by Palantir’s AI.
And every single person in President Trump’s IC orbit is perfectly fine with that.
Exactly
Good question.
AI (ChatGPT) is just a tool for processing text, like the search engine improved on the phone book, like Amazon improved on the Sears Catalog. It found new relationships that we didn’t intuitively see, and it will branch our society in a fantastic direction.
We can’t eliminate or ignore AI, it is just a computer program that is really good at analyzing and summarizing large volumes of text into categories. And you are right, the neural net training techniques weren’t hard (the math was there in the 1970s), they were just expensive and needed special computing hardware. Then Bitcoin came around, where you could make money off of number crunching, and people were willing to pay for that special hardware. We hit that magic price point where the economy of scale busted through, Nvidia won the first lap, and now there’s a new tool in the toolbox.
And tools are only reflections of the users. Guns don’t kill, people do. Google went evil when they realized they could manipulate the search engine result. FB went evil when they filtered and hid inconvenient speech. Amazon went evil when they chose not to police Chinese imports in their catalog.
So the best we can hope for is a fair regulatory approach that introduces checks and balances into free use of AI tools. The Biden camp wanted total control, which scared the tech community into finally reacting. In a way, it is an “arms race” because this is a transformative information processing tool in an infant stage, with tons of strategic improvements ahead on cost reductions, energy use, and use cases.
Time and time again, we (the US consumer) have benefitted by open technologies and allowing competition. We will mess up as we learn, but it is in the US’s net benefit to embrace and adopt, with the fair level of controls to prevent abuses — intellectual property in the training material, political filtering, and what we choose to do with the outcomes.
Heres a tissue, you have a little drip on your chin.
I AM STOKED by this appointment.!! I mean who coulda pissed off the left more…Matt Gaetz…? Maybe…..
But to me…..I HOPE the left felt like the worst of the beatings were over…nothing nuclear on Friday for the weekend news cycle…..then BOOM !! THIS….. 🤣🥳🤪🍿🍿🍿!!
Gotta love love it….. but I’m too old to be all-in just yet, so SHOW ME !!
I HATE to SAY IT….but with this current team on the field…..THERE ARE NO EXCUSES….
Zounds…!@@!
This is really big news…!!!
Bongino dot com is one of the main podcasts every weekday.
Looks like he will have to make some big changes to his podcast.
I frankly think it will be a very good move for the US and for the FBI in particular.
I can’t believe he accepted and put his business on hold.
Wow, really big news.
Prayers of protection for all the new administration.
It would seem that we dug up another Patriot that is willing to sacrifice for what they believe in. I was not a huge Bongino fan. Nothing against him. I agree with most of what Bongino talks about. I at first wondered if Bongino was qualified to run the FBI and he seems light in that area then I realized that he was not hired to RUN the FIB but instead to help dismantle/retool this monstrosity. For that purpose you just need the right attitude & passion that Bongino exudes.
These two men have spoken truth to power when it was dangerous to do so. They have been very vocal as to the corruption and duplicity in the Government for several years.
If anyone knows whom the bad players are it is Kash and Dan. They have written volumes about them to let the world know whom these players are, the deep complex web they operate within our system and how it works.
I am looking forward to see amazing results. I do hope I am not disappointed.
I as well. Yes, I keep in mind that as DC is 95 percent plus globalist democratic and somewhat crazy (Mordor on the Potomac) then those hired within these agencies are likewise a major problem.
Their work is cutout for them. I do hope that they have a great plan to cull the betrayers, and somehow hire and operate our justice system in the Americn spirit. I do think that having Elon as a tech guy to figure out where the rank and file stand is hopeful.
I like the additions of both Kash & Bongino. I see them as far from perfect, but as hard nosed, common sense & well-intentioned patriots. They’re tough, they don’t care if DC likes them. That’s a good start.
I LOVE Sundance’s purity, and skepticism about the Fox News types. That’s real, that’s needed, and I come here for it. I want to understand it all.
As I see it though: At this moment we’re figuratively charging the cockpit to stop the terrorists from nosediving our plane. Anyone who’s running in the same direction as us is on my side right now. We’ll sort that other stuff out later.
Perhaps the IC doesn’t have to lug around a toolbox very frequently-not when they can simply use tech companies as their proxy.
Dan Bongino……..
I do know that he used to follow
Sundance here at the Treehouse.
He even gave shout outs to Sundance
on his podcast.
Then……he got too big for his britches
and I stopped listening to him.😖
Other than that —I am….🤐🤐🤐
“Too big for his britches” because he fought back against attempts by the left(Google, Facebook and You Tube, etc.) to censor and de-platform him. So he went around them and invested in a conservative platform and became one the the most listened to conservative/MAGA podcasts in media history!
I’ve read here since 2015 and my take is that Sundance is a realist.
Everyone appointed so far is a massive upgrade on what has been.
That being said, without permanent correction to personal liberty/freedom from snooping by the systems of government – the inevitable pendulum swings back.
Let’s face it, real change appears to need a DJ Trump type person at DOJ, FBI, NSI, CIA etc.
A kick the door down type character who understands the core threat .
Knowing the Deputy of FBI is free from senate confirmation, my selection would be either Sundance, Matt Gaetz or Clay Higgins.
👊 👊 👍 👍
We can’t keep taking good people out of office. What does that leave behind? And we risk leaving creeps being installed in their wake.
But the President, Bondi and Patel selected Bongino. Get over it!
How about this.
We have no secrets big data took away anything personnel. Our friends, wants, fears, kinks, and follies are all in the big book of meta data ready to be mined and searched.
When the worst of government wanted to know who was in DC on j6 it was not the huge pile of Data Government has that provided that info, the phone company was the source. Genies out of the bottle.
Sundance has made a good point regarding the connected being made invisible in the data fog. That makes the playing field uneven.
I see two potential answers and i bet no one will like them
1 All Data goes to public domain everyone knows every ones secrets. I don’t know how long it will take but eventually criminals will go to jail, and we will stop clutching our pearl and realize we are all lost and thank God for Jesus.
2 We accept that elites who are presented to us as polished and flawless are the worst of us and have been elevated because they can be controlled. We question everything and dig deep for truth and trust our imperfect friends and family as they are the best of us. We accept we will be lied to demoralized and undermined but that truth is organic. we have discernment.,
If #2 sounds familiar it is because we are already there. It is the path we have organically chosen. I refuse to live in the dark imaginings of what might happen. Ahead of us as it has always been are the great challenges of the day. We cower or we rise and defend our brethren. Man is a define creation he never fights alone.
I hope FBI brass and Christopher Wray realize they ended the agency the day they authorized the Mar-a-Lago raid.
Salt the earth, gentlemen.
They are tools.
As long as they served their purpose, slide into a high-paying law firm, and collect their payoffs– all is good with them.
This will never end if there is merely exposure.
Restitution and prosecution of individual “blobsters” must occur
(the governor of Maine may be referred to as a lobster)!🦞
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Debbie_Downer
I wake up every morning and thank GOD it’s not Kamala. We can deal with these guys who have a sense of loyalty, patriotism and accountability that will get us forward. Let’s hope for the best.
AI as a technology is leading humans as a species to confront the greatest question of all. Just because you can do something, does this mean it should be done?
How we, as a species, not as Americans, New Zealanders, or any other nationality on earth, but as a species, answer that, will determine if we descend into an Orwellian nightmare never to emerge, or ascend into the stars and join with other species, who have confronted and won the same question, that once upon a time, was posed to them.
🤣
Bongino has friends in the FBI and Secret Service who know where the bodies are buried. He often speaks of inside knowledge on his radio program. Both agencies need a complete cleansing.
I am waiting and watching. 👀
How does anyone at the top clean up this agency without eliminating the rot?💩🪠
Moving these bad apples to different sites spreads the rot.
I am waiting and watching. 👀
It moves them out of their comfort zone, and forces them into a role where they cannot perform past harms, and limits their communication to new and monitored channels. It may also expose them, if the top five percent is replaced and properly monitors them.
Just as Elons simple question to list five accomplishments from last week, can give one tremendous leverage, as those five accomplishments must be truths, or they become grounds for dismissal. Yes, for “Intelligence” reasons the IC had to exempt their employees from that, but must then do the same thing internally.
There needs to be more whistleblowers who give up the goods in open court before public pressure forces 702 change. Let’s give Batman and Robin a chance and re-evaluate in a year.
Dan Bongino will be feared by some for the knowledge he has… along with not caring wha others think of him. He is there to clean up in aisle 9, along with Patel. Good cop. Bad cop.
I will really miss Bongino’s daily podcast and radio show… but he wants to serve his country once again. He is also taking a pay cut to do so.
The bottom line is that if that if Dan Bongino was considered a serious threat to the system, then he would have never been allowed to have a Fox News TV show and then a successful podcast. They don’t give threats a platform. Heck, even Bongino’s podcast logo uses the same Chinese Three Red Banners symbolism that the Democrats and Communists, if it wasn’t already freaking obvious that he’s controlled opposition (at minimum).
Controlled oppisition?
Never listened or read his stuff have you?
Lotta CTH commentors have a stick up their butt.
Must be hard living amongst mere humans.
You do realize that Fox cut the strings with him or it might have been vice versa. Whichever, he has not been on there for a long time.
Good grief. I can’t think of a better pick. A return to common sense.
Let’s see what happens when people finally understand how 702 authority was weaponized against a favorite Presidential candidate. Coming soon it seems. No more pretending.
If true, then we’re headed in the right direction.
So President Trump’s Advisors have given the masses 2 shiny objects… Kash & Bongino… who will perform the theatrics to please the crowd…. And meanwhile… AI Surveillance gets permanently imbedded..
I remember when I liked Bongino and then he showed his lack of class over Palour… and of course, he read CTH about Russiagate and did not give credit for the research to Sundance, and ran his loud mouth like it was his work..that’s when I saw the weakness in the man.
Holy Cats!
This isn’t true, I’ve heard him numerous times mention Sundance by name
Same with bannon, navarro, digenova, etc. SD is on the map!
Asking anyone with access to the “unlimited surveillance library” would be like asking little kids not to peek at the presents under the Christmas tree…There has to be a firewall between the kid’s and the tree I’m afraid & it has to be made a physical wall rather than a written one….Now that this genie is out of the bottle (Raw Data), it’s contents needs a more limited access, ie. director, deputy director.
Patel, in my opinion, will be a disappointment to those who expect accountability from the FBI. Been a while since I’ve listened to Bonjino but I seem to recall him being against the 702s. Once a positive toward the FBI, he seemed to have had his eyes opened. Time will tell.
When I see the scum that’s destroying our country in prison.
When I see the scum that’s destroying our country leaving this country to avoid prosecution.
When I see “news” organizations losing their license to broadcast propaganda.
When I see State Government Officials charged, convicted and sentenced for aiding and abetting foreign criminals.
When I see what is vs what can be so often talked about.
When I see fair HONEST elections – local to Federal.
When I see blatantly obvious Judges legislating from the bench removed and barred.
When I see the Constitution being interpreted as the founders intended.
Then I will begin to believe…
As of now none of the above has happened. There’s a lot of talk and hopeium being doled out. I’ve seen this play before.
Agree with your points, especially the honest election part. Trump touched on it as he spoke to the governors. It needs to be prioritized immediately. Put DOGE in charge of finding the dead & illegals on the voting rolls. It will be super significant. I see a red California.
Alright, this is it. The final countdown. If these agencies can’t be reformed this time, there’s no saving them.
(Time to cue the meme of Lucy holding the football for Charlie Brown) Yeah, we’ll see
Who wants to save them?
Andy Griffith and Barney Fife to fight Al Capone?
We’re not in Mayberry anymore Toto but Pam Bondi does have a glimmer of Aunt Bee about her.
Ratcliff plays a fine Floyd the barber and Hesgeth a Gomer Pyle.
These are all “talkers” when I wished for a Stephen Miller to show up at the FBI with the DOGE crew in tow.
Pardon my skepticism but I remain figuratively in Missouri…….”Show me!”

Director Patel will need an A-1 ball breaker like Mr. B on his flank.
Imagine having to deal with the govt gangsters, DEA groomed Cartels, Domestic Hoodrat Ne’er-do-wells and International terrorist groups simultaneously.
These dudes need some help. I wish I were in physical condition to join in.
Great choice ,congratulations Dan Bongino,
I have to admit that after a lifetime of law enforcement, I think Dan Bongino is an excellent pick. I think that one of the first things you have to do to clear the SILO is to get rid of bad actors. Dan Bongino will have no problem with doing that.
Now let’s begin this new career with a thorough investigation of the J6 pipe bombing incidents.
The FBI laid the faked pipe bombs. Everyone who does not pretend knows that.
It was the insurance policy in case the FBI could not successfully herd the protesters into the Capitol building on January 6.
I’m pretty happy with this lineup of Bondi, Gabbard, Ratclfiffe, Patel and now Bongino. With Elon and DOGE turning over all the rocks and exposing what appears to be massive fraud and waste throughout government it will be interesting to see what is given the highest priority for investigation and potential prosecution.
There is so much to do! We need a major player just to prioritize who does what when. It could very well be in the process now, fingers crossed. I keep remembering — how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. We need lots of people to eat all of the gigantic elephants! Praying for discernment and speed along with “git’er done” attitudes. Thank you, Jesus!!
Don’t know how Kash and Dan will work out in correcting the IC. For me they seem like good choices mostly I don’t know anyone better. I’ll trust but verify. For my part, over the last few years I’ve been writing my congress critters about the Patriot Act, FISA, 702, the 4th, etc. All while trying to learn more here and other places
FISA is TOTAL tyranny and our founding fathers would be doing more than ruffling a few feathers, they would be tar and feathering the bastards….need to find out whom i9s o0n the fisa court and dox them.
Why when there is so much corruption in politics – with party members from both parties vying against their own to advance themselves – as well as in government offices and throughout American society would we not expect even more in the three letter agencies including the FBI and not only in their top ranks? Transparency is desperately needed and every sector of law enforcement to focus on real crime and not controlling the thoughts and preventing publicly expressed opinions of patriotic Americans. We need to engage in vigorous debate, to be able to call evil evil, to punish bad conduct and to protect good conduct. We need to be able to call out the politicization of judges and courts, of the security agencies and push for real justice for the whole country.
On the surface of it all: I like Bongino; I like Patel; I like Bondi. That said , how long must we wait to see if we’re being sold another “pig in a poke”?
6 weeks? 3 months? 6 months?
How long before we truly know?
What is a reasonable time line?
Thank you for your honesty Sundance! Get ready for the 4 syllable word laden, airily-sniffed dismissal of your research, and more so, of anyone who agrees that there is massive pretending within the Trump administration, because Trust The Plan or something equally stupid.
If one of the objectives of the Trump 47 administration is to neutralize and vanquish the Marxists that are so deeply embedded here, then retaining the 702 authority makes sense. It’s a weapon of mass destruction that can be aimed at the other side. Get that little chore done and then repeal it.
It amazes me…how on X and everywhere else people are praising and yelling KASH and DAN WOWZERS, watch out bad guys! You are in for it now! RFLMAO. I am so thankful we have SD and CTH..otherwise I would truly think I was living in bizarro world…….literally NO ONE is fearful of these 2……it is actually almost farcical the reactions of people on both selections….thank God for the community here of eye opened non pretenders …..SD said this at the beginning of DJT’s administration…our best expectation is for an economic boom…as for our rights and liberty, that horse has left the barn….
I am tired of the hand wringing. And the arming of the trolls on this site, Want to fix FISA Require a warrant and close all the contractor hubs FBI SCIF only. Will people cheat YES. Does your Local PD cheat YES same/same. BUT you limit exposure. The founders understood that only the willingness to follow the rule of Law made it effective.
What most are looking for right now is a take down of the machine, That’s a bigger job then the legislative or SCOTUS fix for FISA.
There is no shutting down of data collection Some one, some where will be collecting your data Other state actors and commercially it will be collected regardless. BUT it is completely do able to not allow its mining by law enforcement without warrants.
Any controls require compliance to the rule of law that is why I support all the IC choices so far. They all have respect for the rule of law. Change the law they will follow it. We are wasting our powder worrying about who will be using corrupt laws. Put your energy into changing the F-ing law
I’m skeptical of any positive effect from these appointees. They’re not committed to the 4th amendment. They have other priorities.
+99% of these search warrants get whooped through by that FISA Court. Many are flat fraudulent, proven so. An extra-Constitutional court violating the Constitution cannot stand.
Roberts has direct charge of that FISA Court, meaning it’s him that’s heaping dung on our Constitution.
Trump should have been sworn in (not by Roberts), then immediately called for Roberts’ resignation. Root cause lies with him. Then, try those who falsified all those warrants.
The Uniparty will protect Roberts, but for the rest of his days he’ll carry that stigma.
Trump doesn’t work that way. He always gives people a chance to get on track. Commendable, but without public exposure of these Constitution destructors, that practice will stay mainstream.
Bongino is a great pick and will balance the equation as is humanly possible in the coming months… Like Yogi Berra once said: “Nothing is like it seems, but everything is exactly like it is.”
The team we want is in, so now there should be zero delay on release of all reports, documents, and any other stuff on:
Its a start.
I would feel much more optimistic about our future as a functioning Republic if they’d already released these items for public consumption.
And what are the odds that the most damaging stuff wasn’t destroyed a LONG time ago. As Mike Benz has said, the FBI is where secrets go to die meaning expunged.
On the JFK thing being exposed… good luck with that:
2005 CIA interrogation videotapes destruction
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2005_CIA_interrogation_videotapes_destruction
Hey, on that expunging thing, where are the updates on the two Blob assassination attempts against Donald?
I agree. I get the feeling that we are in a “waffling” stage.
Good list. It will take about 100-200 agents to thoroughly get to the bottom of your list. Good luck in finding qualified agents to enthusiastically investigate.
Kudos. We’ve only just begun. People need a bit of patience, and with the speed with which President Trump and Elon are moving, it won’t be long.
Trust his team to work together to spot the bad players, most of whom we know. The bad players have already hurt Giuliani, Flynn, Stone, Bannon, Navarro and Melania’s pantry drawer. Now, it ‘s our turn. Patience, please!
Maybe the best thing about We the People having Dan and Kash as our top 2 LE officers is they both have written books about the DS. They know who the players are and which crimes they have committed.
They know that the DS tried to take down a sitting President, they know J6 was a setup, they know about election interference, they know about the IC and Senate Select committee, they know about Ukraine, they know about the money laundering and they know who is the key leaders who have orchestrated this attempted destruction of America.
Now we just need they to announce the many investigations.
It is time for Justice.
Intresting how all that got lost in the discussion here of “not really the perfect choice” spit!
