You may have heard of the protests in Tbilisi, Georgia recently. The protests are framed around what the State Dept and CIA call “Russian favored” legislation.
The Georgia legislation essentially says that domestic lobbyists, NGO’s, entities, groups and individuals who are funded more than 20% by foreign interests need to register as such.
Essentially, the USA law we call the Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA), is what the country of Georgia is enacting in their own political landscape. However, the USA is not happy about the Georgia law to disclose the source of foreign funding (most of it anti-government) because the USA (specifically the State Dept and CIA) is the source of that funding.
This Georgia political scheme is yet another U.S. led color revolution in the same hues as 2014 Ukraine.
As noted by Global News, “in Georgia, protests have erupted over a proposed law requiring organizations with foreign funding to register their activities with the government. Critics compare the bill to similar legislation used to silence opposition groups in Russia. Thousands of Georgians marched through the capital, Tbilisi, on Sunday to voice their opposition to the bill, with opposition parties and civil society groups calling for mass protests against its expected passage.” WATCH:
TBILISI, Georgia (AP) — Dozens of people have been arrested in Georgia after police in the capital used tear gas and water cannons to disperse protesters who rallied outside Parliament to protest a controversial bill which they argue limits media freedom.
Georgia’s Interior Ministry said 63 people were arrested Tuesday while they took part in a demonstration in Tbilisi. Levan Khabeishvili, an opposition MP, posted a picture of himself on his social media accounts with a bloodied face and heavy bruising. Members of his party said he had been assaulted by police.
Those arrested were taking part in the latest in a series of protests against a bill which would require media and non-commercial organizations to register as “pursuing the interests of a foreign power” if they get more than 20% of their funding from abroad.
The protesters have denounced it as “the Russian law” because Moscow uses similar legislation to stigmatize independent news media and organizations critical of the Kremlin.
It is similar to a bill that the ruling Georgian Dream party proposed and then withdrew under pressure last year after large street protests.
If the bill is adopted, protesters are concerned that it will allow the authorities to more heavily control the media space as well as derailing integration with the EU after Georgia was granted candidate status in December 2023.
We know the US State Dept and CIA are behind this because we predicted it and wrote about it two months ago.

So why is Samantha Power targeting Georgia now? Well, like Hungary’s Viktor Orban, Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili does not want expanded war with Russia. Therefore, just like Viktor Orban, the prime minister of Georgia must now be removed and replaced with a pro-war leader.

Mims: I do know something about protests and this is far too large to be a CIA organized protest. If there is no popular support they could only raise at most a couple of hundred and there would be no large overhead shots of thousands. During the Viet Nam War the average protest usually consisted a couple of hundred or less of actual protestors.. I saw one that only had 6 SDS members involved but they held it at noon in front of the Student Union noon when most of the student body was walking by on their way to eat or changing sides of the campus. The local press hoping to gin up a news story took pictures of the crowd passing by to try and pass it off as bigger than it was. However it was obvious looking at the picture that the crowd protestors was just bystanders to anyone familiar with the campus. Granted the CIA could have faked the News story and used similar tactics to fake a mass protest but the Georgian Parliament would have quickly figured it out. This is obviously not what is happening in Georgia.

The hypocrisy here is the EU / US is funding protests so that NGO’s funding for regime change can remain hidden; All the while the EU is passing legislation to mark every cash payment over ~ 400 euros a reportable per default suspicious transaction / terrorism.

So the U.S. government has no problem funding a violent insurrection in Georgia or elsewhere if that nation introduces legislation that makes it more difficult for the U.S. to manipulate their political systems and leaders. At this stage the U.S. government is more reckless, dangerous and evil than even the former Soviet Union were weren’t nearly the power mad control freaks as the activist billionaires and intel agencies that drive our policy.

I believe NGO’s are actually GO’s supported with taxpayer dollars. Many get highly visible grants to “do good” and others are funded by numerous transfers of money from numerous other NGO’s. The beast feeding the beast.

Same thing with many so-called charitable organizations that find loopholes in order for them to do the bidding of their leftist masters. Many, not all, of these groups are simply a way for corrupt government to manipulate and control without it being directly tied to government.
This is the money behind the evil we are up against. Anybody got any ideas how we step forward to help anyone trying to disrupt this? How do we find like minded volunteers?
I think any entity that accepts more than 10% of its funding from a foreign entity of any type, ought to be required to report it publicly and advertise it publicly, and register as a foreign agent.
And if such an entity accepting foreign funds is a college, university, hospital or government agency, then they lose all taxpayer funds and are taxed doubly on money received from foreign entities.
I also think that any politician who accepts money from any corporation, foreign government or NGO needs to be tried and convicted of treason.
the USG is the frontrunner for making enemies at home and abroad. they are an enemy making machine. their arrogance and narcissim does not permit an outlook that doesn’t infer massive amounts of meddling at all times. for every temporary friend the USG makes, they also pick up 5 to 10 permanent enemies. that is what meddling abroad gets you. not to mention they have turned somewhere north of 30% if US citizens into enemies. there is not another organization of corrupt human beings on earth that deserves total annihilation more than USG.
