Special Counsel Jack Smith held a press conference today following the unsealing of a federal criminal indictment alleging four counts against President Donald J Trump. [Full Indictment pdf Link]
The four alleged criminal counts are: (1) Conspiracy to defraud the U.S Government; (2) Conspiracy to Obstruct an Official Proceeding; (3) Obstruction of and Attempt to Obstruct an Official Proceeding; and (4) Conspiracy against Rights.
Interestingly, nowhere in the indictment is anything criminally alleged relating to the January 6, 2021, events at the U.S. Capitol building in Washington DC. However, you will notice in the Lawfare delivery of the remarks, Special Counsel Jack Smith factually speaks almost exclusively of the January 6th events.
The absence of a criminal charge (ie. seditious conspiracy or insurrection) when contrast against the extreme verbal emphasis of the event as outlined by Smith in the presser, will be missed by most. Speaking of the non-criminal event as the context for a fabricated/stretched criminal allegation, is Lawfare in action. Why emphasize but not charge? Because the DOJ/FBI does not want the risk of litigated discovery and evidence of coordinated government activity therein, that’s why.

The DOJ has always been corrupt. They have used their bottomless purse to force innocent people into to plea deals as they knew they could not win against the federal government’s endless money to prosecute (persecute) them.

Coming too Firefox not going to support OS prior to Win 10.
Every update I go through checking for changes. Invariably the setting to “check for update but let me decide to download” gets changed to “update automatically”. The day they won’t allow rolling back to previous version is not what I want to happen. Looking to switch. Too bad a couple of others work well but lack some important usage features.

First of, now that Apple in iOS and iPadOS 14 allowing third-party apps to be set as alternatives to the default mail and browser apps. Illusion of choice. The claim is that DDG is now able to be set as default browser app.
The browser wars are escalating, not waning. There are so many variations and it’s like Android, one has to be careful what to allow or not allow for those we choose to use to function properly. Google has always had its tentacles but on Android, it is possible to resist and block their strong-arm tactics e.g. have a gmail account and logging in to just access google Play Store or check and choose which App or system updates to allow updating and to delete/block those we know to be total nos nos.
Serving as an alternative to Safari, WithDDG set as the default, with illusion of informed choice and links that you tap on an iPhone? or iPad? will open in DDG instead of Safari.
DuckDuckGo says that setting the DuckDuckGo browser of default will provide protection from trackers by blocking third-party tracking requests outright as well as offering greater privacy for web searches and browsing.
Why would a third-party add-on or Search app replace my chosen default browser? DDG has gone from search tracking to monopolize what to show to being a browser, sanctioned by the Bad Apple.
There are many reports of much more to do with DDG and how it has become Apple’s third-party app to be default browser and mail apps.
There aren’t too many blogs that used to carry updated news and solutions/how-tos. Tech news companies also seem to tilt toward promoting more than workable solutions that people need to fix their problems. Lots of $ talk, product ads and such.

I know an attorney who worked for a big law firm and took a pay cut to go to the DOJ because he wanted to go after rich people and their businesses – he freely talked about his motivation. After several years, he used his DOJ creds/connections to score a better gig at a more prestigious law firm.

They don’t seem nervous to me either. So what is the endgame here, SCOTUS eventually smacks down Jack Smith and his lawfare thugs *after* all of this garbage runs its course through the courts? Too bad they can’t do it proactively.
