Using twisted legal theories as advanced by the Lawfare agents behind him, special counsel Jack Smith is reportedly trying to construct criminal charges around a conspiracy to defraud the United States and obstruction of an official proceeding.
Under this stretched legal theory, President Donald Trump simply by contesting the 2020 election, is responsible for efforts to stop Congress’ certification of President Joe Biden’s presumed electoral victory. According to the criminal approach, contesting an election result is an effort to defraud the US Government.

They simply voted whether to accept or reject the validity of the state elector results. So, when Pence (…wittingly…) claims that he “could not unilaterally block the certification” process, inferring this was Trump’s demand, is he referring to his inability to block the (new rule) vote put before the chamber upon their return from hiding?

Yes, J6 was late in the process, but the only Constitutional remedy remaining since many of the states’ courts or legislatures wouldn’t accept any challenges by falsely pointing to “lack of standing”. If I recall correctly, there were several states that ended up with competing slates of electors but I don’t remember if both slates were forwarded to Congress or if the states inappropriately decided which slate to forward to D.C.

Thirty-seven states have so far changed their mail-in voting procedures this year in response to the Coronavirus. Despite frequent claims that President Trump’s warning about vote fraud/voting buying with mail-in ballots is “baselessly” or “without evidence” about mail-in vote fraud, there are numerous examples of vote fraud and vote buying with mail-in ballots in the United States and across the world. Indeed, concerns over vote fraud and vote buying with mail-in ballots causes the vast majority of countries to ban mail-in voting unless the citizen is living abroad.
There are fraud problems with mail-in absentee ballots but the problems with universal mail-in ballots are much more significant. Still most countries ban even absentee ballots for people living in their countries.
Most developed countries ban absentee ballots unless the citizen is living abroad or require Photo-IDs to obtain those ballots. Even higher percentages of European Union or other European countries ban absentee for in country voters. Advocates for the political status quo flog this position repeatedly, claiming that taxation and the regulatory state are all morally legitimate because the voters are “represented.” Even conservatives, who often claim to be for “small government” often oppose radicalism of any kind — such as secession — on the grounds that political resistance movements such as the American Revolution are only acceptable when there is “taxation without representation.” The implication being that since the United States holds elections every now and then, no political action outside of voting — and maybe a little sign waving — is allowed.
This, position, however, rests on the idea that elected officials are truly representative. If taxation with representation makes government legitimate — as some argue — then we must first establish that the government’s claims of representation are believable.

No way this can be considered anything but judicial harrassment, deliberate election interference and is unconstitutional as it does not represent equal treatment under the law. They are all JUNK charges, F DOJ/FBI.

But, Trump never directed ANYONE to obstruct Congress or even attempt to do so therefore, there is NO case here and we all know however, you can indict a ham sandwich as the saying goes which is ALL they need! After that, you then behind the scenes – just like they did to Supreme Court Chief Justice Robert’s in the Obamacare decision to Convict Trump. They just need to get it to the prosecutorial level with charges to do so – the ULTIMATE LAWFARE!
