Queen Elizabeth II has died at the age 96. She was the longest living monarch in history. At 6.30pm her death was confirmed. A Buckingham Palace spokesman said:
‘The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow’.
Her son Charles, the former Prince of Wales, is now King. He will address the shocked nation imminently, as the world grieves Britain’s longest-reigning monarch.
Queen Elizabeth’s children, and Prince William and Prince Harry, had rushed to her bedside at Balmoral after doctors became ‘concerned’ for her health. Hours later she died, surrounded by her family.
The Queen’s death will see Britain and her Commonwealth realms enter into a ten-day period of mourning as millions of her subjects in the UK and abroad come to terms with her passing. And as her son accedes to the throne, there will also be a celebration of her historic 70-year reign that saw her reach her Platinum Jubilee this year – a landmark unlikely to be reached again by a British monarch.
The Queen’s passing came more than a year after that of her beloved husband Philip, her ‘strength and guide’, who died aged 99 in April 2021. Since his funeral, where she poignantly sat alone because of lockdown restrictions, her own health faltered, and she was forced to miss an increasing number of events mainly due to ‘mobility problems’ and tiredness.
But she was well enough to meet with Boris Johnson at Balmoral to accept his resignation, before asking the 15th Prime Minister of her reign, Liz Truss, to form a Government.
Her Majesty, who stood with the support of a stick and smiled as she greeted Ms Truss in front of a roaring fire, had not been seen in public for two months. It would be her final picture.
As stuffy as the Royal family could be she seemed to have a great sense
of humor with her jumping out of the plane with James Bond at the Olympics
and her revealing that she keep a jelly sandwich in her purse with Paddington.
I expect you are aware that it was a double of the queen jumping out of the helicopter, but she had to approve the stunt with the people that planned it, and she did.
Sundance, thank you for a nice article. She has been queen as long as I have been alive. Her honor, grace and hard work will be missed by her country. She was truly a great example of a Queen.
What a blow to the country. Elizabeth was a formidable and steady figure.
What a beautiful last picture! Such a lovely smile.
She always rose to the occasion. Her like will doubtless never be seen again.
You can say that again, Queen Elizabeth was a class act all that is left is a hollowed out monarchy.
I love that picture and did you notice the classic handbag? She never went without a handbag. Since it was an official act meeting with the new PM the handbag completes the appearance. I remember the time when, in England, girls were encouraged to model the queen’s civility and grace. Ah some good old days….
Sadly the British have to now put up with a total moron who speaks to trees and plants as their king as well as pushing the climate change scam at the WEF. I was born in London. I left for the US (legally) when I was 21 years old. I once had the great displeasure of meeting Charles in Manhattan in the late 1970’s, he really came across as a being a complete moron.
Just like King George III, but without the disease that made him crazy.
George III was a great and kind King. His reputation has been besmirched. Charles on the other hand is mad as a box of frogs and a Weffer. God Save The People from him.
Charles was not the Queens favorite. Andrew was!
“… Platinum Jubilee this year – a landmark unlikely to be reached again by a British monarch.”
Certainly not by her son.
She came of Age in WWII.

Seems we had the same idea…
The Queen was a lady, but also, reportedly, a quite smashing (not in the literal sense) truck driver and mechanic in WWII.

On top of all that, she was pretty darn cute..
.
She loved dogs too
Yes, especially her beloved corgis.
I remember her coming to Lexington, KY to view horses at several of the horse farms. I can’t remember now if she made a purchase or not.
And horses!
She had a good eye for horses as well. Princess Anne was on Britain’s Equestrian Olympic team.
And horses.
Margaret was the hot one.
Saw her once upside a hotel in Hungerford. She was stunning.
RIP Queen Elizabeth
It’s too bad her worthless son will now become King. Poor Diana.
Poor Great Brittan.
Reagrdless of your opinions on the concept of “royal family”, condolences to our British friends are in order. This Queen may be the last of the dignified, honorable, decent women of the old order. With her passing we move another step closer to the many tyrannies of today’s progressive young leaders.
May G-d bless Her Majesty and accept her in Heaven. She is an example for all British monarchs going forward in these dangerous times.
May G-d save the Queen!
You might wish to edit your post, it seems out of place in so many ways.
…as soon as King Charles renounces globalism and Climate hysteria and pledges to do all he can to promote sound science and governance and put his people ahead of his WEF masters. Respect is earned, not conferred by a title. Queen Elizabeth earned the respect of generations, but sadly her offspring have earned only contempt.
TRUTH

Melania and I are deeply saddened to learn of the loss of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Together with our family and fellow Americans, we send our sincere condolences to the Royal Family and the people of the United Kingdom during this time of great sorrow and grief. Queen Elizabeth’s historic and remarkable reign left a tremendous legacy of peace and prosperity for Great Britain. Her leadership and enduring diplomacy secured and advanced alliances with the United States and countries…
…around the world. However, she will always be remembered for her faithfulness to her country and her unwavering devotion to her fellow countrymen and women. Melania and I will always cherish our time together with the Queen, and never forget Her Majesty’s generous friendship, great wisdom, and wonderful sense of humor. What a grand and beautiful lady she was—there was nobody like her!……Our thoughts and prayers will remain with the great people of the United Kingdom as you honor her most meaningful life and exceptional service to the people. May God bless the Queen, may she reign forever in our hearts, and may God hold her and Prince Philip in abiding care.
Rainbows over Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace. Long Live the Queen.
I saw these photos on TGP site. Lovely!
Even the heavens pay tribute!
Well done, Queen Elizabeth.
Well done.
That expresses how all MAGA Patriots should feel. Not the vile nastiness that oozes out of the mouths of some of the idiots who post here for the sole purpose of tearing down, attacking and disrespecting authentic class and leadership. Eternal rest grant to Elizabeth, Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul rest in peace.
Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump
King Charles III, who I have gotten to know well, will be a Great and Wonderful King. He dearly loves the United Kingdom and all that it represents to the World. He will prove to be an inspiration to everyone. Queen Elizabeth has been, and will be from above, very proud of King Charles III.
Wait for it…….wait for it…..
IT WAS DONALD TRUMP AND THE RUSSIANS!!!
I don’t mean disrespect can you please be serious for once?
I am serious.
It’s not just a sense of loss for the departed, but also a palpable sense of dread for the couple who will be stepping into her place.
Queen Elizabeth always seemed to able to connect to real people with compassion.
Charles and his wife? Not so much.
Prince William and Harry are the sirlings of NOW King Charles and Princess Dianna NOT Queen Elizabeth II…….the Queen’s children if I am not mistaken along with Charles are Prince Andrew and Princess Margaret
The Queen children are Charles, Anne, Andrew and Edward..Margaret was her sister.
is Anne the crazy one?
No, Anne is level-headed, hard-working and a credit to her mother and father.
The only crazy we have is the loonie from Modesto who did her worst to make the Queens last few years as unpleasent as she could.
Meghan is wondering how to steal the spotlight. Too bad she quit the family.
No. She was very, very, very close to her mom, who happened to be The Queen. This is going to be very hard for her. As Anne was in the news a little more in recent years, I liked her. Very much like her mom.
You forgot Prince Edward……
Princess Margaret was her sister. Princess Anne is her daughter.
Godspeed, Lillibet.
My Queen and she was the backbone…sadly no more.
(She was actually the second longest serving Monarch my wife tells me…the longest being Louis XIV of France)
Your wife is correct. HM was longest serving Monarch for Great Britain, Louis XIV longest globally.
King Louis XIV was king for 72 years.
Playful Prince Phillip as palace guard before The Queen.

I messed this up. Very sorry. It’s a cute picture of The Queen.
I know the picture you reference. I always like it! It caught them at a funny moment.
She represented Britain well with class and dignity. Now they will get the woke idiot Charles. My prediction is that every time he opens his mouth, it will be a negative for the United Kingdom. Like with the Pope and Catholicism.
Agree 100%, and I’m a Catholic.
Or Biden and the US.
Imagine if you will a world where Prince Charles is King of England
I’m already in a world where Joe Biden is POTUS. Nothing can beat that.
I don’t and serious people who look at the world falling apart and want to survive will think Charlie who!
So Charles finally becomes king, just in time to preside over the collapse of the Uk, in large part due to the very green agenda that he so adores.
Man plans, God laughs.
Chuck will be 74 in November and at the rate their collapse is going I think he may just live long enough to see it.
Lord Malloch Brown & Soros were congratulating each other when Biden got elected. This points to the Privy Council, maybe MI6, & who knows, maybe even Charles, involved in trying to get Donald Trump out of power. Trump’s mother was Scottish & Trump held a great respect for the Queen. Charles is a WEF stooge. I will say, chock your feet for fireworks. God help the people of the UK.
A Rothchild telling Charles who is boss.
And a beautiful picture of her it was.
Doing her duty until the end.
God bless her.
I,an American, can admire a woman who was until the end,an example of dignity and doing what you have too, even if you don’t want to.
I pray the Ole Lady (God rest her soul) 😬 has left a Zip drive for DJT with “all” the receipts of where all the bodies are buried to help him and us save humanity.
Just Sayin 🫵🙌🏼❤️🙌🏼🫵
Jack Posobiec posted a pic on his Twitter feed of QEII with Prime Minister Abe. Maybe he had it.
Her Majesty’s a pretty nice girl
But she doesn’t have a lot to say
Her Majesty’s a pretty nice girl
But she changes from day to day
I want to tell her that I love her a lot
But I gotta get a bellyful of wine
Her Majesty’s a pretty nice girl
Someday I’m going to make her mine, oh yeah
Someday I’m going to make her mine
John Lennon and Paul McCartney
That song was a song of my youth. Cute tune that sticks in the brain. It was quite controversial at the time. Something about the Beatles disrespecting the Queen.
Any time a world leader dies, we should be empathetic with those that mourn the death. That is even more so when that people has been an ally for many years. My thoughts and prayers go to our British friends in your time of national mourning. May God bless you give you comfort.
I was thinking the same thing, catchy tune.
I remember reading articles that her hands were blue and that it was a bad sign for her health. She must have been very ill during that meeting, but she kept smiling. She was a great Queen. God Bless her soul.
Duty. To the last.
Look at the pic. Her feet are swollen, the right foot worse than the left. Her hands are discolored. The top of her right hand looks like she might have had an IV infiltrate or a vein was punctured during an IV placement. Getting dressed and standing up to pose for that photo must have taken quite an effort for her.
Sorry, but I’m just not upset. She died. People die every day. Nobody notices them.
Yeah, I guess she was a good soldier during WWII but beyond that she was really just an actress that inherited a role.
Sympathies to her family, but I have a much sadder heart for Warrant Officer Ramirez and her helicopter crewman– and until yesterday I had no idea who they were.
Sure, she was born into privilege.
But she was also a rare gem that was able to live a life filled with dignity, grace and compassion for all, despite her privilege.
Being dignified is the least one should expect of someone in that role.
I think you are a bit of an ass.
I’ll second that.
You miss the whole point of how she truly held the UK together. With her gone, the rot will proceed at great speed I’m thinking. She commanded respect and she put her country first. She had much more political power than you are giving credit for. Without this strong woman at the helm, yes in charge, that country is teetering on the brink of some terrible things and crashing. But hey, she was just an actress playing a role.
I figure the Commonwealth will break up.

Queen Elizabeth had a deep faith. She was chosen for such a time as this, the time after the Great War until today. This was her purpose as guided by God. She faithfully served God, her country, her family.
She did not choose her role. It chose her via her father who didn’t choose it either. But for her uncle’s (via Wallis Simpson) abdication, she never would have been The Queen.
But, for God.
I concur with your opening word….sorry. Yes, you are sorry, but, maybe some day you won’t be.
More insight into her amazing compassionate soul and forward thinking of others, even her pets…it will be missed….
And here I was worried she would be leaving her pets behind and how much they would miss her. I wonder who got the pups she bred?
She actually was given I think 2 pups from Prince Andrew..not that long ago..one died at about 6 mo..but the remaining one she loved and I am sure gave her comfort to the end.
Andrew’s gotta be sweating bullets. Lol
Rumor is that Charles would cheerfully tie an anvil to Andrew’s feet and drop him into the Mariana Trench. I would prefer that he do that to Harry. God Bless the Queen. At last she’s now with Phillip.
And Diana
I like Andy. When he was younger, he used to be called “Randy Andy”. He was very much a ladies man and a prime target for someone like Epstein. The fact that he has been the only person names as a client should alarm all of you.
Why is Brit the only one charged?
He was never charged with anything and I believe he only got outed because the girl in those pics pushed it.
How naive.
How am I naive?
Ha ha, there are 5 others in line ahead of him, so….maybe he should go buy his own island.
Oh it’s got nothing to do with that. A lot of people thought that as long as the Queen was alive he would never get taken down out of respect for her. Think Fredo.
A lady of great strength and purpose from which she never wavered. What intrigues went on behind the walls we probably will never know but she kept a steady and strong hand on the monarchy and she had a good sense of humor too. God speed Elizabeth.
God Save the Queen.
The world will never see the like of her again.
I wonder if Meagan’s queen bashing is over.
Waiting to see how she turns the Queen’s death into her own “victim” pity party. What a piece of trash.
Since Meagan is a toxic narcissist she probably will.
Has Obama tweeted out a pic of the Queen gazing at him yet?
Ouch…but oh, so very true!
Heck, at the first gift exchange between the Heads of State, the Queen gifted I believe a desk set made also from the wood planks of the HMS Resolute…… whereas Obama, ever thoughtful, got her an iPod with all of his lame speeches recorded on them. Class!
Pretty safe bet she never listened to those speeches.
I would bet that ipod contained info that was not to be discussed in the news. I always thought that was a data handoff.
May have had spyware inserted IMO
Obama spied on everyone.
When, exactly, did she become Queen? Was it 1952 or 1953? If the article above mentioned it, I missed it, sorry!
1952 when her father died. She was crowned at the coronation service in 1953.
IIRC, Elizabeth’s father died while she and Philip were in Africa on their honeymoon.
Yes, staying at Treetops on safari in Kenya. I stayed there. Literally, you are up in a tree, overlooking a watering hole, and can’t speak above a whisper so as to not scare off the animals. Staff says up 24/7 logging what animals they see.
As my group was escorted from our transportation to Treetops, there were baboons on both side watching from what I’d say was somewhat close since I could see the whites of their eyes!! The guides were armed and saw their every move. No baboons were shot!
Also, Treetops is so “rustic” that I slept in my clothes.
Of course, beyond being Treetops it’s real claim to fame is that’s where Elizabeth was when her dad died and she became queen, in name, like Charles. Coronation came in 1953.
I saw a pic of the place, where/how are the toilets?
It was like being in a treehouse with toilets (somehow). I don’t even remember. I just remember hearing “things” crawling around on this treehouse. Whenever the staff saw one of the big 5 animals at the watering hole, they ran down the hallway knocking on your door to wake you up to come out to see the animal!
i doubt most of us Americans understand what it’s like to be born into a job – and what a huge job she had to assume. I can’t imagine it was easy – despite what might have appeared to be so much luxury it also had to be terribly confining to not really be able to chuck it all and do what you want. Queen Elizabeth did her duty and didn’t disgrace herself – unlike others in the family. She fulfilled a destiny she didn’t ask for with such grace.
Unfortunately her successors are a pitiful lot. Maybe someday William will surprise everyone. Who knows.
Her coronation was in June 1953.
I wasn’t interested too much in the royals one way or another, but Queen Elizabeth seemed like a steadying influence on the world.
I liked her sense of humor and the way she carried herself with honor and dignity.
She made England proud.
RIP
anyone here have a link to any prophecies about her death and what it may imply? I thought i had heard some but cant find any. I think this will not bode well for GB
Thanks.
RIP Queen
Well I did have a dream I ran into some guy at a mega church (I don’t attend any church in real life) & I commented to him how the children’s church teacher was wrong about Revelation they just taught.
He turned & looked at me, & it was old Mitch the Turtle! He then lifted his nose in the air, turned & ignored me. He sat down in a chair in front of the class.
I walked away & said loudly, “waste of time talking to you!”
I woke up & the tv had just announced that Queen Elizabeth had died.
My son commented about the Queen, “first Gorbachev now Queen Elizabeth. It’s kinda weird.”
Prophecy? Maybe old Mitch is NEXT!
RIP Queen Elizabeth!
I was thinking Pelosi, but Mitch is a better choice, he still has a long time in his term left to go.
10 days of darkness
That was taken at his Manson House Speech.
As evil as Charles Manson is, I have more respect for him than I do for the WEF monsters and their puppets. At least his actions had a basis in his twisted logic. Theirs is rooted in the most evil of all causes, domination over others and inflicting misery and death on a large portion of the world.
Queen Elizabeth and her stabilizing influence on the UK will be sorely missed, and now as the attack by the WEF is intensifying is the worst possible time to lose that influence. Only time will tell whether Charles is up to the task and which side he is on, his people’s or the WEF globalists.
I saw the Queen bow to only one person, the late Diana, Princess of Wales. RIP Queen Elizabeth. God help your people now.
Rest in peace, Queen Elizabeth! Rainbows over Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle made me shed a few tears.
A dutiful and faithful servant of her people.
It feels like the end of an era – and the world has changed forever.
The era had already ended.
This sad day just puts en exclamation mark on the epitaph.
Wow! Funny you should say that… I had written, “and she just added an exclamation mark!” but didn’t think anyone would understand what I meant… so changed it.
Great minds… and all that 😉
I feel for her family just like I do when anybody dies, but I will never understand why so many Americans go gaga over British royalty. They’re just people and they don’t even really run anything anymore do they?
Queen Elizabeth seemed different.
She had PRESENCE.
Through all the tumult of the post-war era, her engagement with everyday people gave a sense of calm.
She may have been “just” a figurehead, but not all figureheads have the same impact on their country or the world.
You’ll see the difference when Charles steps up.
Frankly, I don’t care.
“her engagement with everyday people gave a sense of calm”.
Maybe Charles will be an improvement then , it’s about time everyday Brits got riled up
Unlike politicians in the U.S., she actually brought in a lot of money to the country as a huge tourist boon. At least she had value.
She is finally free at last to join her true love. RIP
Retired Magistrate here: I remember watching her coronation on TV. My father had just purchased our first television set and I sat glued to the TV to watch the entire proceeding.
If I remember correctly not only did she work on transport vehicles during World War II she also addressed the nation several times in order to bring a sense of calm during the Blitz. Also, I believe she and her family stayed in London during most of the Blitz and afterwards.
It is always sad to see the end of an era pass. She is at peace now.
First marker, next possible arrest of Trump. Optics
RIP Queen Elizabeth II.
Duck and cover. King Charles will push hard for the bogus green agenda. His mother, the queen, protected the world from Charles by living so long and never abdicating to him.
Charles has no idea what being King actually consists of, and he is certainly not prepared for it.
If only she had outlasted Charles.
pity,
I wanted her to outlive Charles
Seeing as the queen mum made it to almost 102 I thought it might be a possibility that her daughter could live as long. However, Philip’s death last year was, at least partly, a cause for her declining health.
William & Harry are the Queen’s grandchildren, not her children. They are Diana’s & Charles’ children.
Everyone knows Will and H are Charles kids not the queens .Why do people keep pointing this out??
Probably someone waaaay up thread made the error.
The much loved Queen Mother, I believe, had a huge part in raising her daughter to be Queen.
She had a great smile that lit up her face.
I watched a lot of her Jubilee in June. It was fun to watch, the people of England showed the upmost of respect to Queen, something you’ll not see in this country with the likes of hate speeches given by a pedophilic wanna be potus….
Anyways…I watched her face knowing she must have been in some pain and those eyes radiated so much joy. You could see just how much she loved her country and loved her family.
The world has lost someone very special and I’m going to miss those hats!
I will also miss her smile and the gorgeous hats!
Her quiet strength will be be sorely missed. Rest In Peace Queen Elizabeth.
Wow, look at you parse a photo from a place of ignorance. Here, learn: https://www.biography.com/news/queen-elizabeth-ii-mechanic-world-war-ii
Uncalled for.
Why do you assume she was pretending?
Did you know Jimmy Stewart and Charles Bronson flew REAL combat missions in WWII?
Heck, even George McGovern was a war hero, no matter what you think of his politics
Did you know Elvis was a Tank driver?
I assume you yourself must be a war hero to pass judgement on others who served selflessly, despite the risk or personal sacrifice.
Beat it!
Mr. Jones, get help.
The Queen’s service to the war effort had very little to do with changing a damned tire. More so, it was the fact that she and her family stayed on that island during the withering attack by the Nazis!
The Queen mother said it best when asked if her daughters would leave for Canada during the German blitzkreig…..
“My daughters will not leave without me….I will not leave without the King….The King will not leave!
She served her country as a mechanic during WWII.
What a rude comment, but, obviously you don’t have her humility.
Tire inspections?
