Joe Biden has pledged to increase his use of executive power in order to deconstruct the U.S. energy system and recreate a Green New Deal energy economy using windmills and solar power to generate electricity. Today, Biden kicked-off the first round of executive orders [READ HERE].
The first round of executive orders is essentially payments to low income Americans for the increased costs of Biden’s new energy programs. However, for those paying close attention, I would direct you to notice this predictable aspect in the “Fact Sheet” provided by the White House:

Overlaying the COVID-19 mandates and executive orders as a guide, I think everyone can see where this is going.

We’ve had a normal summer so far in Florida’s Big Bend. Daily temps between 88 and 95 most days. And humidity. Did I mention humidity?
Still I have to repair fence, mow grass, feed and clean animals, repair the house. So what if it’s hot? They still make water and shade trees like in every generation prior to mine. They still make apple cider vinegar, ginger, and molasses. I can still drink my haymaker’s tea and work without worry.

It’s over 80 degrees inside my workplace so Biden is going to jump in and save the planet by mandating that my employer spend money earmarked for my salary on an electrically operated room air conditioner. The primary result being that we’ve just dumped an additional load of air conditioners onto the struggling power grid, with no plans to build more generating capacity, and to sweeten the deal we now have millions of additional air conditioning units that require climate damaging refrigerant poised to eventually spill that refrigerant into the atmosphere. I think joe’s plan is to force employees to go home once it gets too hot at work, and not for companies to pump-up the evils of air conditioning. Like meat, air conditioning will be for the elite only.

Sounds like the desert Southwest to me. My historical shop was located in the irrigated desert of California and my solution was flipping the days and nights during summer and working mostly from sundown to sunup. Helped customers too since most breakdowns occurred during the day so I could turn around repairs at night for their next shift.
However, not an office job, rather machine work, welding and fabrication. Brutal in a hot steel building with nothing more than a fan and swamp cooler. One large reason, along with over-regulation of industry, behind leaving California.
When there’s no place left to run to, people will turn and fight, and in large numbers and unexpected ways. Expect it. Just stay out of the way and survive, that’s my advice.

I see that “global warming” is still the operative mindset (as opposed to climate change), given that OSHA will be checking only on “hot” (>80F) days. I presume no military operations will take place at this elevated temperature. The US Army base in Djibouti (and other >80F locations) will have to shut down….or be completely maintained indoors with air conditioning and a huge carbon footprint. I’m not quite sure how to launch aircraft off the deck of a carrier operating near the equator and maintain gentle temperatures, but I’m sure the Biden Administration will put someone on it. Half of the South will be shut down. Ha! But this will impact Disney and other tourist attractions. I wonder if lifeguards will have to go naked to comply with these new standards?

Where is this money coming from? I thought only Congress can appropriate funds. Is there some sort of slush fund that will be used for the payments? Or maybe if the executive branch is creating money out of thin air, it doesn’t need to go through Congress.
