The Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) of Japan, the party of current Prime Minister Kishida Fumio and former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, has scored a major election victory.
The election was held only three days after Shinzo Abe was assassinated, and the results reflect the Japanese people giving Fumio the opportunity to cement the legacy of the man he replaced. Prime Minister Abe was an advocate for reforming the Japanese pacifist constitution, which has not been modified or amended since 1947.
Current Prime Minister Kishida Fumio, the leader of the LDP, now has a super-majority in the upper house, controlling more than two-thirds of the seats. Fumio will have this majority for at least three years and will be able to structure amendments to the Japanese constitution, a life-long ambition of Shinzo Abe who was a hawk to the influence of Chinese aggression in the region.
With the people supporting him, Kishida Fumio now has a major mandate to fulfill the legacy of Abe and keep a focus in the economic and security needs of the average Japanese citizen. This is a rare moment of almost universal control within the Japanese political system. Western media are writing the typeset with furrowed brows and gritted teeth. Meanwhile, the Beijing dragon is fuming behind the panda mask.
Washington Post – Prime Minister Fumio Kishida’s ruling Liberal Democratic Party, or LDP, and its coalition partners have secured a two-thirds supermajority in the nation’s parliament, according to Sunday’s election results, a powerful showing that could allow the LDP to carry forward former prime minister Shinzo Abe’s biggest ambitions in the aftermath of his assassination.
The overwhelming victory could usher in at least three years of political stability for Kishida. It would clear the way for him to enact some of the party’s most controversial goals, including increasing defense spending and pursuing Abe’s long-running desire to amend Japan’s pacifist postwar constitution so that Japan can become a stronger global military power.
“When they get ahold of these ‘golden three years’ the focus will be on what the Kishida administration will hammer out,” said Yu Uchiyama, Japanese politics professor at the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. “If the Kishida administration can come up with policies that appeal to the people, there is a strong possibility that the administration will last long-term.” (read more)
NHK NEWS – Japan’s ruling coalition scored a sweeping victory in Sunday’s Upper House election. The Liberal Democratic Party was able to win more than half the open seats without the help of its coalition partner, Komeito.
Prime Minister Kishida Fumio on Sunday night said he was grateful for the outcome. He promised to address the biggest issues facing the nation, including the pandemic, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the soaring cost of living. He vowed to revive the Japanese economy.
The main opposition force, the Constitutional Democratic Party, lost seats in the Upper House under its new leader, Izumi Kenta. He said, “With our party’s approval ratings still low, we need to work on ourselves, and restore support.”
The ruling coalition and two other parties, Nippon Ishin Japan Innovation Party and the Democratic Party for the People, support amending the Constitution.
Together they now control more than two-thirds of the chamber’s seats. (more)

I ain’t gonna lie….
….It still hurts.
[…] Slain former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will be laid to rest at a Tuesday funeral attended by close friends and family, according to media reports.
Prior to the funeral, a vigil is scheduled for Monday night, but officials in Japan have not released any plans for a public memorial service for the country’s longest serving prime minister. (more)
Let’s hope that this victory is the beginning of the great political awakening that spreads across the globe.
Rest In Peace prime minister Ade.
Hoping for ONE thing, or one PERSON that will “turn the tide” and “make everything the way it USED to be” is understandable, but unrealistic.
Its going to be a long, hard slog, and many of us may not live to see victory; it could take GENERATIONS to restore sanity.
Its going to take WORK, by a great many people, and its goung to take TIME.
It SOUNDS like MAYBE Japan COULD be a country that rises in support of Nationalism, and against One World Government, but only time will tell.
Without hope you have nothing but empty ineffective action easily countered by your enemy.
Abe’s Leadership inspired
hope and and because of it the people in Japan who took effective action at the ballet box should be an example for others.
Abe provided leadership and the people who delivered the victory through action . All in the span of three days.
The people of the US have the ability to accomplish the same result in November. This November not one in some other lifetime.
No hopefully the US does not accomplish the same result in November.
Abe printed a ton of money and prostrated Japan further under the G7, NATO, WHO, IMF etc . That is what we want ???
A nationalist japan with a powerful military is something to ne wary of.
Yes all we need is another country to add to the impending world war. That’s all this was about, clearly.
Taiwan needs all the help it can get.
Much better to give in the the CCP.
@Art Lee
It’s no longer World War 2.
In 2022, Japan is frankly a better defender of freedom than many of the Western nations that it fought during that conflict.
The world has seen the strong Nationalist Japan before and it did not turn out well.
A strong nationalist America has been invading nations and slaughtering people for decades since WWII. I love my country but at the same time have to acknowledge, my govt has done so much evil around the world and continues to do so. Do you know how many Iraqi civilians were killed in the invasion of Iraq? Tens of thousands.
I am not so sure it is a “nationalist America” but moreso an America with the CIA and NWO/Globalists leading its foreign policy adventures……I do not see Japan embarking down that road yet……Japan needs to be a little bolder in their own backyard to allow them to project and influence Chinese aggression……remember Taiwan/Formosa is a historical problem for the Japanese where we just view it from a sphere of influence perspective
Look at their birth rate… if that doesn’t change they are going to be extinct in 250 years anyway.
• Japan: crude birth rate 1800-2020 | Statista
• Japan: fertility rate 1800-2020 | Statista
So true. I love this country for what it was and what it is supposed to be. I do not love the fact that we are mercenaries for the banking cartel throughout the world. Ever heard General Wesley Clark talk about the 7 countries we will attack in 5 years? Look it up. Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Somalia, Sudan, Libya, and Iran. These countries did not adhere to the central banking system. They are also enemies of Israel, but one in the same. If we attacked for oil like people say, then where is it?
That was as an enemy to the West. Now it’s an ally. This would make it an asset to global security and stability.
Unless you are in favor of the US being the sole policeman around the world? The US is spread too thin and it’s Allie’s have taken advantage of our military umbrella to spend on social programs at home instead of spending on their own defense.
I welcome a stronger Japan and would rather they be the tip of the spear in East Asia for democracy than the USA!
If Russia can throw off the shackles of communism and become a God fearing Christian nation, Japan can also turn a new page.
But it’s different now because Japan was so utterly defeated and almost destroyed, the people realized they lost and were taught a lesson that endures today.
Unfortunately, modern wars are so “nice” that the populations don’t get enough pain and punishment to learn the lessons Japan and Germany did.
Much better to obey the CCP.
I would arm them to the teeth as well as India. But this moron missed the opposite with India.
Not for the US but for China. Germany had the largest military in Europe back in the 90s and there was no issue. Let’s not live in the shadows of the past.
I beleive our Military presence in JPN would prevent that. This isn’t 1941 anymore. It’s 1984!
Ask the Chinese. They’ve never forgotten.
I’ve been based in SE Asia for over 20 years and Japan has a very secure election process, like most here in SE Asia, except for the Banana Republics and China of course. Notice the turnout? It was just over 50%, unlike the all time high of “67%” in the US voting for O’Biden…
It’s very predictable what’s going to happen this fall. One thing I know for certain is election day, is no longer election day; it’s election month.
Yes, “it still hurts.” Ecstatic that Beijing dragon is fuming; let the fuming begin!
RIP PM Shinzo Abe. I admired and respected you!
RIP ABE: You didn’t accept the Big Pharm Payoff. I wonder why Pols who are off the Stage are getting whacked. Z next? Only a matter of time. I kinda liked Abe. When I traveled JPN most citizens thought he represented his Country with respect and dignity (Japaneese Traits) on the World Stage. Just watch my Bro’s and Sis’s. The bodies will hit the floor in record fashion!
Someone please help us (me) understand the Japanese party equivalences to our American counterparts.
PS: F#%K Dan Crenshaw!
Shoehorning the different into what we are familiar with leaves us misunderstanding.
Speaking of familiar, if I said F DC, would anybody think I mean just one congressman?
My friend in Japan who went to high school with me in Phoenix but moved back some years ago had a similar comment, but I had to ask him…surely the Japanese aren’t voting for a guy based on sympathy for his mentor? And his response was yes, but no. Not sure how to translate it otherwise, but basically…yes, there is a tokenism among the Japanese to honor a legacy, but if the pupil wasn’t right it would not exist. Or somesuch thing. I don’t know. I can speak Japanese but their idioms and metaphors are way out there so I could have misunderstood him a bit. Jiro (we called him Jill because we thought it was funny in high school) always had a real tough time with English. As we all did to be honest.
As far as I can tell though, Abe and the LDP weren’t quite what we here in America would call “in line” with our values, but maybe as close as the Japanese equivalent can get without going full Tojo. But from all accounts, Abe was a good guy. I really have no idea about Fumio. I usually kind of keep up with Japanese politics a bit, but he sorta just slid in when Abe left. I suppose he’s ok. I hope for Japan he is ok. A lot of challenges face Japan in the coming few years. But I don’t expect the LDP to really solve issues like racism and the Ainu or get too up in the CCP’s face. Kind of a milquetoast party to be honest. Still probably better than Republicans without Trump.
Hey WSB, long time no see. But what’s with the random lamp light?
I found the same photo here.
8 Gorgeous Japanese Lantern Festivals | All About Japan (allabout-japan.com)
But their caption failed to say which festival.
I can rule out three. Not the ice festival. Not the lamps flowing on water festival. And not the lamps floating in the sky festival. Also probably not the lamps so big you have to climb in them to light them festival.
But so far, the photo is still random to me.
No student will be above his master. But once he is fully trained he shall be like his master.
Pretty sure Einstein was way better than his math teacher.
Einstein was a physicist, not a mathematician!
Physcis IS math. Thsoe students who think otherwise are already dink in my clsas.
Most of the physics majors I knew at the university also got degrees in mathematics. I think they only needed an additional 6 math credits to get it.
In college, I had a prof with MS in Math and Ph.D. in Physics and another with MS in Physics and a Ph.D. in Math…..not much difference but both were impresssive
and one of us dyslexics, and that is why he was mediocre in college, and not out standing.
This comment cracks me up
Silly. A student, if well taught and talented, should eventually surpass the master. Nothing will improve if you only churn out inferior disciples.
Yup, master + student = progress in the +
I suspect the teachers are not as smart as they think they are.
Wow. So you called him as soon as you heard Abe was assassinated? That’s a really close friendship after all these years.
I found your post helpful and informative overall but I’m always rolling my eyes at politicians who promise during their short tenures to “solve” eternal defects of human personality like “racism.”
Why not go all the way and also promise to solve jealousy, greed and lust?
Seems to divert our attention while our constitutional pockets are being picked.
God bless the Japanese people.
I love Japan. I was born there, learned the language along with English since my nanny knew only Japanese. Just dived straight into their culture as I was growing up, even convincing my parents to accept some Japanese exchange students (who were girls, of course heh), and taking Japanese language in school…cheating sort of. I pretended I was just a gaijin learning it.
But the Japanese made a decision a couple centuries ago to turn their backs on any mention of God. Even any form of Japanese religion is met with a certain formality reserved for business meetings, not piety.
Japan is a nation of true atheists. They have nothing to believe in and want nothing to believe in, and their suicide rate is (possibly as a result) one of the highest in the world. Their men put all of their worth into what they can achieve in the business world. Not in self-worth. Not in family. Not in any belief of a God or anything else. And when they don’t make it to the point they think they should be at by a certain point, which is definitely cemented by their own media, they simply check out.
The Japanese people are an amazing, wonderful people that have a very serious problem. Desperate for a mission but resistant to it at the same time. It would take a true visionary to really spread any sort of message there. I hope, but I do not expect it.
The Japanese are, IMHO, the most pragmatic people in the World.
They are also very ethnocentric and uniform.
But, their pragmatism trumps everything else about their qualities.
Oh, they are religious alright, but their notion of religion is quite different from the Judeo-Christian-Muslim traditions. Just think, Buddhism has no Gods… and Shinto has spirits. The Japanese are most definitely not atheists… just… different from us.
I should clarify. Modern Japanese are absolutely atheists. Maybe their grandparents, or further back, truly believed in spirits and practiced ancestor worship. Today they go through the motions but don’t even believe that much.
Interesting insights. The Japanese are truly unique. On the individual level they can be really adrift. My ex is definitely a mess. I dealt with one guy born and raised there who lived in the USA. He spoke spanish fluently and could pass for Mexican. For the most part he pretended to be Mexican and dated Mexican women. I found it so odd. Pray the Chinese do not forget how monolithic and devious the Japanese can be. No one needs the war that the Japanese can bring. To poke that bear is unwise.
Former military officer married to a Japanese stationed in Tokyo for 4 years in the mid-90s. Made friends with many Japanese officers. Let’s not forget the Japanese were some of the most fierce soldiers known to man… China felt their sting during WW2. This has the possibility to unleash the hibernating dragon… China has reason to be concerned…
what the Japanese soldiers did in China was terrible yes, but they moved in after chinese society was already destroyed by the British .
I’ve often warned people of the same, with respect to Japan ever fully mobilizing a military. They are a people who can be deeply kind and warm outwardly, but inwardly can be very insular, extremely racist, and capable of great acts of evil if led to it. They do not believe in soft war or even the concept of “war crimes”. It is total war or nothing. They currently are for nothing. If they ever are pushed to a “total war” mindset, this world would be shocked.
and what’s wrong with us atheists????
Assuming you’re serious, your cosmology, and therefore your philosophy spawns an upside down conception of reality that places man, and consequently self, at the peak of the chain of being. From there, it’s easy to justify anything, natural law having been denied. Dostoevsky put it well, that without God everything is permitted. That’s why the most murderous regimes in history, those of the middle of the last century and, strikingly, the abortion industry (killer of over 60 million in the US alone) are always atheist in essence.
I mean, your response sounded more affluent and educated, but I still like my voltage analogy. 🙂
GOD still loves you. You just don’t receive HIS blessings. Meh, who needs THAT? ME!
Atheists suffer from the same vulnerabilities as cultists…no anchor in a set of principles, beliefs, and morals. Either swayed by the whims of a cult leader or by the wind. And worse among atheists is no grounding point for the belief in the inherent value of human life. Anything is possible under an atheistic viewpoint. Even mass murder. You cannot objectively make a case against any crime really if you have no clear standing on why a human life is valuable. If you follow the atheist path using logic, human life is a tiny spark of nothing in an infinite nothingness. No meaning, no value.
An atheist opining on human value is like an electrician trying to measure voltages with a single lead. And people who do that scare me the most.
modern leftists are probably atheists in this country
No question. Even though many will say, even think, that they are people of faith, they build their world view around what they want to be true rather than what really is.
Modern Leftists in this country absolutely have religion. They believe in The Woke. They have their own values system and concepts of morality. I’m just waiting for whoever their Twitter God is to tell them to drink the special Kool-Aid.
The Japanese have a ethnocentrism of culture that can stymie conversion or acknowledgement of a Judeo-Christian view. Their culture is old and has so much Buddhist and shinto philosophy mixed together and mixed in with how everything is done and celebrated within the culture – touching all aspects of daily life.
My personal observation was seeing her biggest obstacle in accepting Christ and Christian values was the worry if having to “give up” being Japanese and reconciling her growth toward Christ versus her families Buddhist beliefs.
God calmed her heart and she got past that worry and became Christian after accepting Jesus as her Lord and Savior.
Now I have met many Japanese Christians.
But I think its a similar process for any Japanese is general.
Yes but this was a conscious decision made some centuries ago. Christianity was sweeping across Japan like a wild fire along with European trade, until the Bateren Tsuihorei. The reasons were political, but the lingering effects are still felt today.
It wasn’t that Japan itself was resistant to The Message, or not in need of Christ (even the famed Oba Nobunaga converted and protected the Christians), it was that their political leaders at the time saw Christianity as a political threat, in their minds leading to becoming yet another puppet state of a European power, and it had to be squashed. Even a short civil war was fought over it.
I would say the Shogunate’s fears were valid. European countries were using religion as a sledgehammer to gain global power. But nowhere that Christianity has been spread has truly rejected it from a cultural level. It’s always been political actors that do so, Japan included. There has since been a hesitance of missionairies to go to Japan, but even now Christianity still grows, albeit slowly, in Japan.
33 days 2X in Sasabo. Cherry blossom time in April (stunning) and brutally hot in August. The Japanese people (not bragging, 70 yrs. walk-about) are gracious, friendly, courteous and above all ‘Anti-Yankee Imperialism” We infect their culture with our ‘Western Judeo-Christian’ (World’s BIGGEST Oxymoron) culture/value system. They all go for the pop culture of the West but by and large still remain a homogenous Society. I just can’t get Fukushima off my ‘Bad Japan’ list.
Here is an observation by Cambridge anthropologist Alan MacFarlane that has helped my thinking about the Far East in general, but especially Japan. It has to do with Karl Jasper’s Axial Age historiography and how that relates (or rather distinctly does not relate) to Japanese culture. The audio quality is not great and he has a voice that belongs on Pure Unintentional ASMR , but it is quite revelatory, as is the whole video if you can stay awake. It should be cued to the 50:00 mark.
Thanks for linking. I watched from your cued point to the end but will return to the beginning. The audio was not as bad as you feared.
Two thoughts on this: I heard that MacArthur essentially put out a call to American religious organizations to have different level of engagement post war, but that call went largely unheeded.
also, I recall a conversation with someone whose parents were in missions there. It was indicated that the language didn’t really have a good word or concept for defining sin, which was seemingly one of the challenges for those in missions there.
I’m just curious, when I saw the picture I thought the people were praying to God.
I’m sorry to say as a person of Japanese ancestry, the majority of the people of Japan practice idolatry with their many gods. They have been anti-Christians since the Shogun declared Christianity to be banned in Japan. When the Americans occupied Japan I believe they banned worship of their many gods, according to a documentary I watched on TV recently.
Many Christians were matyrs when the Shogun executed the missionaries.
However, my heart goes out to the people of Japan and I pray for PM Abe for peace.
Imho, as an American and a Christian, I feel it is not imperative that the entire world is either “American” nor Christian. Let Japan remain Japan.
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Correlation: As the actions increase in magnitude, so will the reactions.
Hat tip to Sir Isaac Newton
Something touching
Beautiful. Made me weep. This must be just terrible for President Trump.
Was always wonderful to watch our PDJT and PM Abe together.
Sayonara, Mr. Abe, from your American friends.
sad that I saw an article saying the assassin only went after Abe because he was a softer target than the religious target that was his primary and the security team was slow to respond after the first shot and could have prevented his death had they moved quicker
A great man of many talents who will be sorely missed. Just beautiful, thanks for sharing.
May God bless Shinzo Abe.
I hope the loss of Abe was not in vain. The best outcome would be for Abe’s hopes for his country to be realized with the outpouring of outrage and grief at his pointless assassination.
Haven’t responded direct to you in a while. Just wanted to say Hello. And also…this assassination is very disturbing. Very disturbing. The likely candidate is the CCP, but no clear motive other than being the CCP. I don’t see a material gain in doing it. Yes, yes, Abesan was a leading figure in the LDP. But that hardly would change Japanese politics much. Certainly not in favor of China. They truly do not understand the Japanese if they think assassinations work.
Maybe some Japanese made him do it…but frankly they just aren’t that imaginative. Japan is gripped by a weird stifling of new ideas caused by an extreme desire to fit in. Bushido applied to business taken to the nth degree. It’s bizarre and is currently destroying the country in many ways and few are willing to even acknowledge it.
This assassination, if it isn’t a one off crazy (still possible) is a conundrum. I cannot think of a single enemy or ally that would want it .
Keln, the motive they claimed was even weirder for me but I had no time to dig into it over the weekend. Abe wasn’t even the original target? Then who is this mystery religious who was? Saw your post above about Japan’s lack of religious beliefs and agree, so why is a religious leader targeted for assassination?
Any insight? This one bothers me.
Are you taking Fake News into consideration?
The shooters’ family went bankrupt giving all their money to a religious cult. Shooter thought Abe supported the cult.
Well, there have been a few cults in Japan over the years. To be expected with such a giant lack of faith in a country. And yes, the biggest violence has been from these cults, such as the poison release at a train station some years ago. It could be that is all this is. I don’t know. I haven’t seen much said about it since this assassination. And it is true that the last major acts of violence in Japan also massively missed their targets.
Their issue of aging population is acknowledged and then ignored. The meme of Abe encouraging marriage and childbearing was only that, a meme. Changing a culture means changing hearts and minds and politicians are unable to do so.
At a time in which the West appears to be seeking conflict with the PRC, a beloved Japanese politician is assassinated in a country in which gun violence is extremely rare, days before an election…
and because of that assassination, the Japanese people hand the government a mandate to rewrite the constitution which will allow Japan to rearm and become a military power after eight decades of pacifism…
I intend no disrespect to Mr. Abe, his policies, or those of his successors. Nor I am not debating the merits of a revived Japanese military.
However, I have to ask the question: Qui bono is the assassination of Mr. Abe and a rearmed Japan?
I can almost feel Suspicious Cat’s eyes glancing towards Ukraine…
Looks like we are the only ones that can see this is obviously a US plot to get japan involved in ww3. I think this venue is being polluted in the same manner as twitter.
I dont disagree that there is something off here, but I dont know who benefits or doesnt at the end of it. Certainly, China would not like the rearming of Japan. Thats clear.
Ron Disantis made (public) mention of the planned November meeting
regarding Asia Pacific and South-East US doing business
~ and that Abe will be missed.
~🤔
I hope there are no RINOs in the LDP.
There are plenty. I think Abe’s immediate successor Suga was one.
Shinzo’s often subdued and appealing smile and other expressions often seemed to communicate his thoughts better than words.
It does “still hurt.” I hope this election landslide will greatly benefit Japan and that his family will find peace and happiness again.
According to the translation of 小林弘明
“The lyrics of this song have no subject. The reason is that no matter who listens or sings this song, it is possible to empathize with it. This song is a masterpiece that Japan is proud of.”
I’ve enjoyed listening to it off and on since childhood and I hope it is a fitting emotional tribute for Shinzo here. The translations of the songs lyrics are varied but the 1st line is often similar to:
“Let’s look up as we walk, so that the tears don’t spill”
Very beautiful tribute. Thank you for sharing.
Ahem….He died doing what he loved. He died for his country. I won’t! Uncle Sam and the USN you missed your opportunity. I ain’t marchin’ anymore.
love that song.
Still makes me sad, I am truly sorry for his loss.
I’m so sorry Japan, thoughts and prayers for your beautiful country and people!
It is good to see evil plans thwarted, even if a good man has to die in the process.
Since Abe is a martyr, i would bet on more than 3 golden years.
And that was the point.
I have not felt this kind of affection and loss for a foreign leader since the assassination of Anwar Sadat.
I guess the leftists haven’t gotten around to stealing elections in Japan…
George Bush vs. Hillary Clinton. You choose
Both families have a kill list. The Clintons’ is considerably longer.
Wasn’t Abe the fella who said: “Old people, hurry up and die” not so long ago?
No. That was Taro Aso his finance minster.
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/jan/22/elderly-hurry-up-die-japanese
Archduke Ferdinand assassinated in 1914 sparked WW1. Shinzo Abe assissinated in 2022.
Let’s pray….
Well now, ain’t that interesting.
Stop the election steals and watch what happens here in America.
Japan is fertile ground for a Great Awakening of another kind, may the Lord move in mysterious ways.
RIP, PM Abe.
I am confused people can’t seem to join that the event enabled sympathy to gain the required 2/3 majority in the voting (which they would not have achieved) 3 days after, which then allows the constitutional changes to enable Japan’s armed forces to be used outside Japan to be part of the US planned war with China and Russia from the east.
Does this not seem strange to people?
Ok now there’s three thinking people here. Good to hear!
Just in time for the new Pacific NATO.
The CCP owns or at least is leasing Washington DC? Why would DC want a war with them? Pretty sure I don’t agree.
I agree. Abe was a good friend of Donald Trump and a popular leader. I see nothing in the actions of the Uniparty to suggest they want a war with China. What they would support is the removal of someone who was both a strong, international supporter of Donald Trump and a thorn in the side of China. This could have been a random act by one disturbed individual, but if it was something else then I’m looking at 5eyes.
What were the polling results regarding this election before Abe was assassinated? Was Abe’s party heading for a big win regardless?
Why? Why was Abe assassinated? Personal vendetta? Or was the assassin programmed for the hit job? Was this incident designed to garner the sympathy vote to victory? Was the political opponent too radical? So many questions.
And now we have motive, and thus we know who did it: it was the IC…. Again.
This benefits the US and the US only. So abe was murdered so that his party would win, and by winning, Japan can now be involved in war with china and Russia.
Just reading up on the assassination. The assassin appears to be a disturbed 41 year old man who targeted Abe in retaliation for Abe’s ties to a religious group (unnamed by Japanese authorities). The man blames the group for financially ruining his mother and breaking up the family.
IOW another crazy who murdered a public figure for his own crazy reasons. He used a two-barrel homemade gun built from pipes. From descriptions of the shooting it seems he also made the black powder and projectile as well. Essentially a home made blunderbuss.
We need to be vigilant – there are dark forces in America who will do ANYTHING to keep power to maintain their status quo.
?? They’ve already ‘done anything’….Election steal(s), rounding up their political opponents, show-trial, imprison people with no bail and no charges for a year, destroy our economy, lock us down for a year like sheep, and etc.
maybe he can get rid of the US military bases in Japan/Okinawa. Per reports there are 23. (faint hope)
China’s celebrations of Abe’s assassination appear ironicly premature…
Makes the prospects for the USA more and more “interesting.
Couple Japans election with ongoing “protests” in Sri Lanka and developing events in the Netherlands, i.e. Bill Gates fake meat and bug food stores spontaneous combustion, we may in fact be “living in interesting times”
https://thecountersignal.com/gates-funded-picnic-facility-burnt-to-the-ground/
That list falls very short compared to all the food and fuel “accidents” that have occurred the last few weeks. We better hurry up in counter-measures!
Recently, Japan has reduced their dollar reserves, maybe $100B or so. Be careful what you ask for. As the petrodollar slowly fades, our fiscal sins will surface, and I suspect Japan will protect themselves.
The fall of the petrodollar is inevitable, and is the only way we can take back control of our tyrannical government. We just need smarter government to manage this. We’ll need to experience true fiscal crisis before we can force smarter people into office. That will come with the fall of the petrodollar.
Japan is an indicator of what is to come. Their nationalism will evolve to self interest, as ours should. The key is having smart governments recognizing this.
When I read the explanation for the killer’s motive it sounded as ridiculous as the video explanation of Benghazi – but what do I know?
I Don’t Think China is Upset.
Prime Minister Kishida of Japan Outlines Vision for a New Form of Capitalism
Geneva, Switzerland, 18 January 2022 – Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio called for a new form of liberal democratic capitalism, balancing economic growth and distribution, in a special address to business, government and civil society leaders taking part in the World Economic Forum’s virtual event, the Davos Agenda 2022.
…
The prime minister called for Japan to lead the world in green transformation. He said investment in green technology “will be more than doubled” and become an engine of growth. He also announced that a carbon pricing system will be introduced as soon as possible and Japan will continue to support the Asian emissions trading market.

https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2022/01/japan-new-form-of-capitalism-revive-economy/
Well that’s discouraging. Would think the nationalist Japanese citizens would object to WEF control (IF they are paying attention). Sound familiar?
Globalist tool. Just look at all the people in Japan wearing masks exactly the way the CCP wanted it.
All made possible by the PANDAemic
Thanks for keeping it real.
I agree that any Davos participant is a globalist fool. ✔️
However, my understanding is that masks throughout Japan were a thing long before COVID-1984.
In the past, masks would have been used mainly because of air pollution and in Japan on a much smaller scale due to overcrowding while using public transportation. It was never a thing on this scale. As is the case even in the USA, masks are now a thing due to a fake pandemic.
Government mandated and advised Mask wearing and covid testing due to a “pandemic” is what keeps the hoax alive. It is the single most powerful tool the BBB cabal is utilizing to transform the globe.
Then Japan will slowly go broke. Get woke, go broke! it really is that simple.
Let’s hope Kishida Fumio doesn’t go Boris Johnson on us.
His top priorities look exactly like Bidens. Boris probably was removed because hes not radical enough and has a conscience. I recall Boris kicked off the end of citizen lockdowns in the UK while other countries were doubling down. In fact, Trudeau was going full communist on the truckers when Boris did that. That set off a chain reaction and made countries like Canada and Australia look like the CCP. Schwab must have been furious.
Right after that Operation Ukraine hoax was manufactured.
Terrible what happened to Abe, but worse might be that his legacy lives on. The U.S. was trolling for another proxy-war partner now that Ukraine is going down the tubes, and Japan’s now super-majority powerhouse, elected in sympathy to Abe’s demise, looks to fit the bill, unfortunately. Japan’s new government proclaims support for western alliances, to include the war in Ukraine–and the drumbeat of war in China via Taiwan. This is not good, not good at all. The U.S. tried to make the Philippines their proxy to instigate a war with China over Taiwan, but the recent Philippines’ election did not produce the compliant government the U.S. needed to do its dirty work. Not to worry. Looks like Japan is stepping up. All I can say is stock up on food, medicine and batteries.
It’s becoming clearer to many different countries leaders the time to put their country and their interests first is now. Citizens see it too.
They know where things are headed and understand the less reliant you are upon others, the better.
the globalists may assassinate the new PM,,,,just to get what they want
I ain’t gonna lie…. ….It still hurts.

He promised to address the biggest issues facing the nation, including the pandemic, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
His two biggest issues were manufactured and are not even real. So sad.
Emotions aside, hopefully Fumio will at least put an end the Panda Pandemic hoax and get rid of the ridiculous masks everyone is wearing.
If not, hes just another globalist tool and slave to the CCP.
Here is a very interesting observation by The Duran that provides some historical context:
For the sake of insight, I would welcome some clarity. When I run the final numbers on the tote board illustrated above, I see that the coalition (LDP+Komeito) has only 57.85% of all seats, with all votes in. This is a happy majority, but it is not two-thirds. Comments anyone?
You probably forgot to add the Japan Innovation’s 21 seats and the Democratic Party For The People’s 10 seats to the LDP’s 119 and the Komeito’s 27 which totals 177 and is 71.37%. The paragraph above the woman’s arm touching Abe’s portrait explains it.
Is Fumio the real deal – or a puppet? Question everything.
So Japan returns to intense nationalism.
Anything is better than globalism. Anything.
Leftism combined with self-destruction. That is globalism.
Northern Europe and Canada will be the last countries to self-destruct.
While the Germans are motivated by justifiable self-hatred, based on their history, Canada struggles to find vague reasons for this self-revulsion. So Canadians offered themselves up for the slaughter to free Northern Europe, they must now be apologetic for.. something. I doubt it, children, I doubt it. But Trudeau the imbecile can’t tell the difference. And Leftism teaches all children are the same. Imbecility!
In my eyes Fumio always seemed a bit to the left of Abe….hopefully I am wrong
Based on WWII (tyrannical Japan), there is understanding by many that Japan would go the route of a pacifist constitution direction.
Maybe the ‘liberals’ in Japan, in this case, can find a more appropriate balance to allow for stronger self defense – with re-swinging the pendulum towards all of the way towards going tyrannical?
Easier said, than done (because of human egos, that often need to be checked, and balanced…and a system of people and laws that can accomplish the task).
imho
Love thy neighbors
I would wory far more about Germany going tyrannical than Japan. Japan needs a strong military to counter China and isn’t part of Germany’s NWO/one world gov crowd.
…’without’ (not with) re-swinging the pendulum…
It is still not entirely clear about what led to the assassination of Shinzo Abe. Saw one report that indicated Abe was involved with a religious group who took the mother of the assassin for a great deal of money. The assassin couldn’t get to the leader of that group but noticed Abe was coming to give a speech so he targeted Abe instead. The firearm was home made with two pipes that were capped at the rear a pistol grip and triggers plus wood and electrical tape. Apparently they found a similar earlier design with smaller pipes that could have fired 5 shots from 5 barrels. The device had a black shoulder strap and was apparently kept inside a 35mm camera case designed for a long lens. Security didn’t catch the man so he managed to get close with the disguised firearm. It sounds like a mentally ill perhaps schizophrenic individual who was highly motivated and spent a great deal of time preparing an attack. The media reports that the shooter claims it was not a political attack. Don’t know what to believe. The Japanese are very tight lipped per their entire culture.
My only question is… shouldn’t the Chinese have known this would happen?
Did they screw up? OR did they want this guy in office?
Maybe he’s going to flop.
Keeping in mind that the greatest of leaders of Japan many times took their own lives so as to perpetuate their plans in the face of their opposition And that Shinzo was enduring some very agonizing pain with a hard fight ahead to keep the country on track while China literally hovered around like a buzzard, suddenly an older man appears, makes his way thru security and brings to bear vital shots that helps insure the solution of many problems and is taken into custody with little struggle.
Kishida Fumio is a victory for nationalism. I also see Japan moving close to the BRICS orbit or at least multi-lateral orbit than remaining an occupied nation of the West. I don’t think Xi is too upset about Fumio’s victory.
Why was Abe murdered? Anyone know?
Kishida better watch his steps….
