A very interesting interview with Chris Spear, president and CEO of the American Trucking Association.
During a House Transportation Committee hearing on supply chain issues, CEO Chris Spear shares an internal survey showing that 37% of truck drivers “not only said no, but said hell no” to the Biden vaccine mandates.
To give some perspective of the downstream consequence, the ATA President noted that “if just 3.7 percent, not 37 percent, just 3.7 percent” of the drivers left the industry, there would be over a quarter million vacancies resulting in a “catastrophic” collapse of the U.S. supply chain. Mr. Spear also shared his opinion the OSHA rule is completely unworkable and unlawful.
The consequences are grave if just 3.7% did not work. However, if ten times that many, 37 percent of truck drivers, stopped hauling products because of the Biden vaccine requirement, American civic society would collapse within days as panicked citizens took to the streets. Desperate Americans would be clamoring for scarce products, and the impact on society could not be measured. WATCH:
As we have continued to point out, a federal vaccine mandate might sound like a good idea on a think tank, academic or white paper policy level of consideration; but on a practical level, wiping out a large percentage of your most productive workforce over a vaccine mandate is unworkable, and might even end the operation of the entire business.
It is important to note the recent NBC poll on this issue amid the outlook of the vaccine mandates. A majority of the country do not support the vaccine mandates, and worse still, the number of unvaccinated workers is essentially unwavering in the past six weeks {poll data}. Remember, the number of Americans who willingly quit their jobs increased to 4.3 million in August {link}, and then increased again to 4.4 million in September {link}. People are not f**king around now.
The number of cumulative hard “NO’s” has gone from 26 percent of the workforce in August, to 27 percent in October.
We are down to the hardened group, an educated and solid bunch of people who use common sense, and they are not going to take the forced vaccination. In quantifiable terms, the increased pressure to force the jab into the arms of the American workforce has now crossed into “the law of diminishing returns.” More government pressure ain’t going to yield the previous level of compliance. This threshold crossed is also quantifiable in the Americans who quit working: “A record-high 4.4 million people, or 3% of workers, quit their job in September according to the Labor Department’s latest Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey released Friday.”
There are 205 million legally eligible U.S. workers, between 15 and 74-years-old (census figures), with a workforce participation rate of 61% (BLS figures) which would equal 125 million legally eligible workers. However, the Bureau of Labor Statistics puts the number of working Americans at 161 million workers (BLS figures). The majority of the difference between the two figures are most likely illegal alien workers (yeah, lots of them).
Approximately 40 percent of the eligible population are not working. Some people are single family income (wives or husbands who don’t work), and some are just people who choose not to work, cannot work or have not yet started to work (college etc). With somewhere between 125 million and 161 million workers doing the jobs that keep the country functioning, there are also approximately 10 million unfilled job openings.
According to the most recent statement from Joe Biden on October 14th: “We’re down to 66 million — it’s still an unacceptably high number — of unvaccinated people from almost 100 million in July.” Approximately 60 million of those are within the current U.S. workforce.
If we split the difference (census -vs- BLS) and take the mid-point at 140 million workers, then 60 million workers refusing the vaccine mandate represents about 40 percent of the entire population of eligible workers. Put another way, in the best case scenario, if 60 million people quit working or were fired, the national unemployment rate would be at least 35% !
What we call the United States doesn’t function with 35% unemployment; systems of commerce start to collapse, then government, then civil society.
The U.S. economy is currently functioning with 5% unemployment and 10 million unfilled jobs.
Just imagine the economic impact of 35% unemployment and 70 million unfilled jobs.
Keep in mind, the vast majority of those 60 million jobs are the productive workforce that keep the entire machine of the U.S. functioning.
This is the workforce that keeps the goods moving, the lights on, garbage picked up, streets safe, shelves stocked, stuff fixed and facilitates everything that makes the entire system of society function.
It is the force of this crew or hard core, dirty fingernail, no-nonsense workers that is pushing those federal contractor companies to contact the administration and tell them this mandate is not going to work for them. If the companies have to choose between losing their ability to contract with the federal government, or losing the most critical part of their workforce, well, they ain’t going to stick with Biden’s mandate.
There ain’t no way in heck that government or private industry can function with tens of millions of Americans in the workforce getting forcibly removed for refusing the vaccine. I believe that is why you are now hearing from companies saying they will not fire the unvaccinated workers (ex Delta Airlines).
Pontificating leftists and academics, without a bit of sense for what actually happens in the Main Street economy, have no concept of what it looks like if ten million people quit or are fired from working next month…. let alone five times that many. Bottom line: THIS IS A NON-ENFORCEABLE MANDATE, even if they wanted to do it.
The power of the American workforce is in the scale of dependency each person brings to the system when they are united. It might seem like a few thousand here/there, because that’s the way the media are framing it. However, if you add up all those few thousands together, you end up with millions.
As we previously outlined, this is not about vaccines per se’, this is more about a slippery slope of having the government dictate how you can live your life and earn a living.
If they can force us to have a medical procedure, and then carry documentation of that procedure in order to work… why can’t they force us to get a small electronic implant of our identification, which would coincidentally include your medical authorizations for work?
It’s just a metal detector…. it’s just taking off your shoes… it’s just wearing a mask…. it’s just a vaccination….. it’s just a COVID passport… it’s always, “just”.
Factually, at the end of all this, I still do not believe a federal mandate for a vaccine is even possible or legal. It appears to me that all of Biden’s threats in this regard are simply that, threats.
The purpose of the threat is to push people to take the vaccine without actually attempting a legal federal mandate; and that approach so far has been successful. However, now they are going to encounter the more hard-core groups who will not concede liberty or freedom to a federal mandate.
It is obvious Anthony Fauci also knows a federal vaccine mandate on the private sector will lose in court when challenged. The fact that Fauci brings up state vaccination requirements for education as examples of historically forced vaccinations is both a strawman argument and structurally false. There has never been a FEDERAL mandate for any vaccination. All the vaccinations Fauci discusses (ex. his kids) were state mandates. Each state also has a different set of standards and laws for children and vaccines. There is nothing federal.
The federal government is attempting to set up a federal work authorization standard for private businesses. Non-compliance means you cannot work, or you lose your existing job if your employer goes along with the government demand. THAT alone should alarm everyone.
There is a particularly enraging irony in that Joe Biden’s federal DOJ and Dept of Labor do not enforce employment eligibility authorization for illegal aliens based on legal status, while at the same time the Biden Dept. of Labor is putting OSHA in charge of a federal policy that will enforce vaccination requirements. Go figure.
All of the federal exemptions essentially undermine the “national health emergency” argument, because if there really was such a public health emergency, there would be no exemptions at all. The application of the executive order undermines the actual cornerstone of the executive order itself. It cannot withstand scrutiny…. hence, Biden doesn’t actually put any rules or regulations into writing because that gives lawsuits something specific to file injunctions against.
In the interim, as the freedom coalition digs in to mount a patriotic challenge, the authoritarian attempt of the federal government, the rebellious alliance is hitting back in unique ways as noted by the Southwest Airline pilots and Air Traffic Controllers, both groups hold a significant military service record. As noted, recently American Airlines was forced to cancel 1,700 flights due to staffing issues:
NPR […] American Airlines cancelled more than 1,700 flights over Halloween weekend, including more than 800 on Sunday alone, due to weather and staff shortages, the company said. […] American Airlines says that 343 were cancelled on Friday, followed by another 548 cancellations on Saturday. Most of the cancelled flights were coming to and from the airline’s main hub in Dallas/Fort Worth, as well as in Charlotte, N.C.
[…] In a letter to staff sent out Saturday, the company’s chief operating officer, David Seymour, said the company “proactively” cancelled flights on Sunday because of severe winds in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and a shortage of crews. (read more)
Another group who are pushing back against the federal effort are local law enforcement and firefighters. Again, another private sector group that has a heavy percentage of former military service members amid the ranks.
The blue-collar effort to bolster the resistance by these groups does not have to be too massive to have an impact. Remember, almost all of these leftists and elite minded communists who now operate as Democrats have no capacity for self-sufficiency. If the working class stops picking up their trash; stops mowing their lawns, shopping for them, doing their cleaning and essentially facilitating their lives, this entire group of scholastic-minded knuckleheads cannot function.
From a commonsense and logistical perspective, regardless of the federal outlook, there’s no way they can pull it off. We are the quiet, and according to those who look down their noses – the “invisible” unwashed masses. However, when it comes to keeping the gears turning, we are the majority.
WASHINGTON DC – Objections among certain vendors over President Joe Biden’s vaccine mandate for federal contractors are reaching an inflection point. As the deadline for workforce vaccination approaches, some trucking companies are mulling whether to end their work with the federal government altogether, according to two industry insiders.
In an interview, the American Trucking Associations’ executive vice president for advocacy Bill Sullivan told POLITICO that some companies may simply decide that the cost of the mandate is not worth the government’s checks. Sullivan said he has raised concerns to the White House, Office of Management and Budget and other executive branch officials. He noted that if companies drop their contracts, it may be harder to get certain foods to troops, transport fuel for military vehicles, or even deploy the National Guard.
[…] interviews with more than a dozen industry advocates across the aerospace, distribution, defense and trucking sectors — some of whom have also been in discussions with administration officials — reveal they either have little confidence they will be able to meet the Dec. 8 deadline for their workers to receive their first vaccine shot or expressed concerns about difficulties the mandate would pose on their labor force.
The White House has repeatedly insisted — both in private meetings and publicly — that the federal contractors can avoid potential service disruptions during the holiday season. (read more)
We keep their shit working and just want to be left alone. The system will not function if tens-of-millions of American workers stand united against the vaccine mandate. It really is that simple.
Heee, I said the same thing when someone asked me if I had been vaccinated- “HELL NO”
And it’s stupid to require a person driving a truck all day to take the jab.
GO TRUCKERS!!
My reply is simple:
Do I LOOK like a retard who would allow himself to get shots with an untested substance without the usual 15~30 year standard testing period?
I like your response better!!
I’m gonna borrow it from ya
How’s that holistic detective agency coming along?
Talking about people who don’t have all that much human contact with people if they don’t want to or have to, my hat is off to all of you. You’ve kept & keep this country running & sacrifice a lot. And that’s most Americans I know or meet.
So if the TGP story is true that the “vax” immunities only last 2 months or so NOW, how long will it be before only 1 month, 10 days, etc.? I don’t even bring it up to my vaxed husband or friends anymore. Now they’re investigating flu cases??
You know you’re in trouble when you can’t trust getting a flu shot. In fact, what are they pumping in your arm since there were virtually no flu cases/deaths in the previous season?
Well said. With regard to the flu shot, I have always gotten it in past years. This year I refuse to do so. I don’t trust that they wouldn’t give me the vax under false pretenses.
Plus, they are changing how they make the flu shot. This year, it’s a different production method, no longer using chicken eggs. This year, they will be manufactured in cells. And in future, they are moving to a recombinant process, which to me is a no go, because it’s a not a virus found in nature, but one scientists create in the lab. Recombinant production is fast and efficient, so there’s more money to be made. From my perspective, these are unnatural and not proven to be safe or effective.
upshot – no more flu vaccines for me.
Thanks for that info. Like Mac above, I refused to get a flu shot this year, and after your info, that substantiates my decision.
The lengths these NWO cucks are taking to kill and maime people are reminiscent of the smallpoxed Indian blankets.
And the Indians survived. However, they are considered second class citizens to the gub mint. This is our fate …if we allow it.
Surely there some democrat somewhere without the slighest clue about supply chain and transportation issues somewhere with the solution to this awful mess…
Sure is, but unfortunately he’s sitting in the seat of the Secretary of Transportation, but busy trying to nurse some poor infant with a plastic breast. Letting rigged elections stand have gut-wrenching consequences!
And what if it’s the Ho’s replacement for VP?
I can only imagine the fake votes needed to counter that grand election victory. Running against that nancy would be like taking a plastic breast from a baby.
Would Michelle Obama be better? Eek, that’s another name being tossed around!
There are three categories of people that keep a society, a nation, a world, moving and alive: Those that build things, those that fix things, and those that create things.
Each of those main categories have many sub categories of individuals . All keep the machine of civilization moving.
The rest who do not fall into those three main groups, just benefit from their labor (e.g. politicians, celebrities, sports figures, entertainers).
If the builders, creators, and fixers stop doing their jobs….everything stops: no food, no shelter, no tech, no transportation, no defense, no medical care, no electricity, no fuel, etc.
It all comes grinding to a halt. Enter the life of the nomadic hunter-gatherer.
Essentially Brandon and his team of miscreant imbecile Marxists have set the stage for the largest job action in human history.
“Essentially Brandon and his team of miscreant imbecile Marxists have set the stage for the largest job action in human history.”
Precisely! Isn’t it grand!
Well said. Commies hate doers
Unless they’re doing their bidding — like setting cities on fire! LOL!
The rest should be treated as Douglas Adams fantasized: As Golgafrinchans, packed onto a spaceship and crash-landed on some other planet, never to return.
Sometimes I wonder if they think their policies won’t affect them and the fairies who provide for all their needs will continue to do their duty when everything collapses around them. I wonder what de-balls-e-o in New York did when the residence of NYC dumped their garbage on his lawn.
And the people who mostly fit into those 3 categories are MEN. Toxic Masculinity.
Easy enough, stop doing anything for them. Exclude them from your personal economy as they offer nothing worth trading for.
I know a couple of people in the trades and service industry who will not take a service call for university professors in a nearby town. They say it’s not worth the trouble because the customer 1) looks over their shoulder while they work and try to tell them how to do their job, and 2) complain about everything including the bill. One electrician told me that he didn’t care if this one guys entire wine collection just baked in the southern heat, he wasn’t going back to fix their wine cooling basement electricity ever again (apparently the wife kept turning some dial way up when it should have been left where the electrician had set it). He said rural folks left you alone to do your job and paid you in cash as you walked out the door.
The direct-to-customer/client/patient businesses will grow, and the thrird-party payment, govt contract grift will only go so far.
I traded some IVM for a basket of fresh veggies the other day. People are re-discovering how nice it is to do business with regular folks again, who will thank you & shake your hand afterwards.
There has to be a way to cut the elites off from basic necessities, food, fuel etc.. A blockade around the Beltway for instance. They are behaving like they will have a place at the table, when they have destroyed our way of life!,
Well, who has the union skills to run stuff like excavators and how efficiently could those tear up rails, roads and bridges? It’s also a lot easier to cut a pipeline or transmission line than it is to shut down the station. For most cities, they don’t do that stuff inside the city as far as I know, they do it out in the surrounding areas and then run lines in.
It’s also much harder to tax when you get paid in cash, that’s just a bonus.
I see on TGP, the Pentagon is threatening the Oklahoma National guard, over refusal to get the jab, downgrading them to “militia”?
HOT DAMN, NOW your talking! If they follow thru with that threat, I bet the “Militia” would be overwhelmed with new recruits, eager to sign up!
Mark Steyn likes to point out that the Second World War was won by an America where the average adult had an eighth grade education. A far higher % of those citizens (than now) made their living on farms and factories, with their hands. They were grounded.
Marshall McLuhan said the literate man was the natural sucker for propaganda. All communist governments value literacy, and they value censorship.
The Antifa savages poised to burn down Kenosha have a high % of members with liberal arts diplomas. They are educated, and they know nothing. What fool could possibly believe that America can survive without truckers? These fools.
They do not want America, as we know it, to survive.
Yes. Sadly true. Many reasonable people see this is the plan to collapse our nation and bring us to our knees. They are not stupid, they are devoted to foreign interests, corporate and domestic.
Looking at how they target the truckers and the ports and the REAL champions of infrastructure and industry, over a virus with a >98% survival rate by forcing a vaccine that has no meaningful protective activity from Delta+ variants. What other conclusion can be drawn when they march against us in lockstep like tin-pot dictators acting out marching orders from an apparent master race that is hell-bent to rule the world like the Holy Roman Empire of old by plunging the marvels of The Enlightenment back into The Dark Ages.
The only pandemic I see is a pandemic of institutional depravity and malignant administration by a global army of NGO-brainwashed Useful Idiots playing endless games of “we are better than you because.”
They have their orders. They have their checklists. They are wedded to their 3-Ring binders prepared for them and their cohorts to construct a cult of global psychopathy we have only just begun to understand.
I see the hand of Soros and China in all of this. I’m convinced that Soros is hoping to see the downfall of the US before he takes the eternal dirt nap.
The most intelligent people I know are not smart.
I ran across one trucker commenter on another thread who is so erudite, so clever, so knowledgeable about history, culture, books, he’d make mincemeat out of any liberal arts graduate. He’d chew them up and spit them out, and they wouldn’t know what hit them.
One should never EVER equate intelligence with a university degree, or any particular profession. It’s a big mistake to do so.
Intelligent and educated essentially mean the opposite of each other.
As my grandfather told me many years ago: “Education is this thing invented by the intelligent people of the world to help these other poor sons-a-bitches who can’t think.”
Don’t forget the teachings and research of Cippola.
Stupidity does not correlate to intelligence or education. No human is immune from behaving stupidly and no amount of intellect or education can protect them.
We must stop behaving stupidly. We must take full measure and stop behaving stupidly if this depraved and willfully conducted war upon humanity to erase or otherwise negate the primacy and sanctity of the human individual is to be stopped.
The human individual is the ultimate minority. We are each the ultimate minority. This is what they conspire to collectivize, to cull, and to return to a modern version of medieval serfdom.
Very well said. These most recent events would make chilling follow-up to Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged. Where is John Galt?
Goodaye Betsy,
My Father is was a good example of class verses intelligence , he was a “Trucker”yet considered one of the best War Historians of his generation.
I believe that most have the capabilities to be “smart” but are not capable to see their own capabilities, if that makes sense!
Indeed, my Dad was the smartest person I’ve ever known, and he had an eighth grade education. He read A LOT but he also had common sense and wisdom that came from living a hard life and farming, etc., although he quit farming and went into A&P. He would often correct our pronunciations or answers from his chair when we were playing trivia games or whatnot at family gatherings. Don’t discount the “uneducated”, stupid people.
You have just given a great example of my points above. How lucky were you.
I’ve said this before to you, Mungrel. I’m certain I would have loved your father. I know I’d love to know more about his life. And I also know I’d probably learn more from him than I did when I was at university.
But then as I’ve said my education began when I moved to another country, years after I received my degree.
Class and breeding tell. Smart arrives when one starts paying attention to his surroundings, and to others. And, dare I say it, opens his eyes to everything other than a cloistered self. In other words, life itself and all it’s harsh lessons.
I lived in Atlanta for decades. I remember when I first moved there a wise older gentleman told me not to make the mistake of thinking that a southern drawl meant that the speaker’s mind was slow. It was very good advice and similar to your observation.
Isn’t that the truth! Northerners often make that mistake, to their serious detriment. I was told long ago that if I ever shook hands with anyone who told me he was just a “little ol’ Southern country lawyer,” I better count the fingers on that hand when I got it back.
One other point. I remember reading a Northern baseball player recounting his experience playing for a Class AA baseball team somewhere in the South. He was in a bar arguing about something with one of the locals, and a friendly barmaid gave him a piece of advice. She said, “Look, you come from a place where people argue all night long. Down here they don’t do that. They only argue for a little while, then they start to hit. You’re almost there now. Be careful.” He said he smiled at her, paid his bill (with a big tip), walked out of that bar immediately and never forgot what she said.
Always ALWAYS listen to the locals.
Amen to that. A southern accent is a good bit of camouflage as well. Underestimate a man with one at your peril.?
Betsy jones,
“Intellect is not wisdom.”
― Thomas Sowell, Intellectuals and Society
It’s become the worst part of the “American Dream.”
I have a sister with 2 masters degrees and she is as dumb as a box of rocks when it comes to common sense.
And that is really doing a disservice to both the box and the rocks.
I have a daughter with a PhD in psychology. I was trying the other day to “warn” her gently that we might be faced with massive inflation over the next few months. Before I could barely get that out (and suggest to her to stock up on necessary items)…she walked away from me. Will not listen. She will have to learn the hard way. I’m giving her up to God and pray she awakens from her “I’m too smart for you, Mom” attitude. (I have a lowly college degree in Journalism and English).
It’s a protective mechanism. Her brain can’t handle the cognitive dissonance.
Maybe just let her know very gently that you are trying to warn her of what you see coming down the road because you love her and want her to be prepared. As any good mom would do, you are looking to protect your child. You aren’t trying to argue politics, you’re trying to help her simply because you love her.
I truly believe it is because we are so close to our children that they discount our advice. I’ve seen it with my own, though in the main they do listen, thank God.
Thank you, Meow. I agree with the cognitive dissonance. Thanks for the sweet and excellent advice. She loves me, I know that. I love her, and she knows that. She’s highly sensitive to any disagreement with me…Moms and daughters can have those. I think it feels like criticism to her–she doesn’t do well with that, even when it’s not that. I will try again and will pray for guidance.
Oh dear, Deborah. You’ve done the best thing, the only thing you can do. Giver her up to God. Your faith is strong. He will look after her.
But I completely understand the frustration you feel. Completely.
When she comes crying to you, walk away.
I won’t do that. She’s the mother of my grandson. I love her, and I pray for God’s grace to awaken her.
The one thing I could never do…turn my back on my children. Tough love.is in a category by itself. But this is NOT that, especially as you can see what she cannot. We still walk before our adult children watching for pitfalls. We can do no less.
God bless you, Betsy.
You’re so welcome, Deborah. We’re all sisters because we are mothers.
I know someone intimately who is exactly like that. A surgeon, Phi Beta Kappa. Puts Fauci on a pedestal. Has been jabbed. Make of that what you will.
These children might be forced then to get a real education in the world they’ll be living in, as children from another earlier time did. Valuable education, not the government controlled kind that does nothing to prepare them for their lives ahead.
Sorry, WWII was won by the Russians and the UK and USA muddled across the finish line and got their participation trophies.
I never knew the Russians fighting in the South Pacific, China and Japan, in addition to Europe.
And Africa
You must not know about the Pacific theater of WWII.
40% of German war production went into defending Germany from British and American strategic air attacks. Not to mention the direct aid that Russia received from the allies… from food, trucks, ores needed for weapons production.. that kept them in the war.
Russian method of clearing a mine field; march a battalion thru it.
Germany almost made it to Moscow, and would have if it had been stricktly Germany vs. Moscow.
Conmunist are not very good at warfare, they are much more adept at bullying.
RUSSIANS I have great respect for,…Conmunists, not so much.
Russians have always used sheer numbers of men to fight their wars.
For the Germans, going to Moscow was a huge mistake since they invaded the USSR because they needed the oil from the Caucusus region. Going north was a huge waste of resources.
There were good reasons for doing both. Mistake was trying to do both at the same time. Even in 42 when they focused on the Caucasus the Germans split their forces and sent the 6th army into Stalingrad.
LOL , really ??? I think the UK would have been defeated & Russia would have caught hell from Japan as well as Germany if the USA had not armed both countries as well as kick the living shit out of both axis powers.
Arch, that’s simply not true. Without the torrent of Lend-Lease aid given to the Soviets for free, Russia would never have made it through 1942. Hitler would have taken Moscow, the Japanese, instead of striking at Pearl Harbor, would have invaded from Manchukuo, and the Soviets would have collapsed, going down to utter defeat in a hail of lead.
I am not taking anything away from the Russians and their fight against the Germans on the Eastern Front. It was arguably the toughest ground battle in the history of mankind, and the Russians prevailed. They simply could not have made that fight, however, had they not had the materiel support provided by the Western Allies.
Well said. Almost half of T34s produced in 42 by Russia were because of allied aid. In 43 at Kursk Germans pulled divisions out of the battle to reinforce Italy which the Allies had just invaded.
Balderdash!
And the Russians never would have won without US support. Tanks, Trucks, planes, etc. No doubt the Battle of Stalingrad was Hitler’s Waterloo but to say that Russia won the war completely ignores America’s assistance and the war in the Pacific.
I suspect that an 8th grade education back in days of World War 2 would be the equivalent of a four year high school education today.
You are correct. They only way to achieve the marxist dream of everyone going to college was to lower the bar to something everyone could hurdle.
spot on. my Dad who was born in 1896 said he had an 8th grade education..come to find out..just recently ..that it seems
he had some college..Suspect it was a “cover” letting people think he wasn’t as smart as he was..and he was very smart.successful businessman.
Sherman tanks were modified in theater by GIs with tractor experience and equipped with blades to go through the hedges in Normandy.
Wait until the educated fools find out what happens when you try to keep a population of 330 million people fully stocked with only electric trucks for transport. LOLOL!
Especially when there’s nobody to run the electrical powerplants.
The same ones that don’t understand where leather, plastic, & electric power come from. I’m not even sure they understand where gas for their car, butane for their smokes, charcoal lighter, jet fuel, etc., come from. They obviously weren’t in Texas or Oklahoma last February when the sun didn’t shine, the wind might have been blowing but everything FROZE, including wind turbine gears.
I so agree with you on truckers. Even if you wanted to, it would do you no good if every trucker had a brand new electric truck. The infrastructure money, what little there is, is not going for electric charging stations. And even if it did, you can’t have trucks stopping every 400 miles to charge for 4 hrs or whatever. Not if you want goods anywhere on time. The traffic jams around cities???? Don’t even get me started on trains or jet planes.
But I digress. I’m just plain stupid.
That generation was forged in the fire of the Great Depression.
American boys forced to quickly grow to be men with many of the best rising to take on responsibilities that no one could ever have imagined them having or being capable of successfully fulfilling before the war.
Good morning, rah. Elsewhere on this thread I’ve given you a hat tip for your diaries on your travels etc. Expect more to see them. The are brilliant.
I will continue and thank you for your kind words.
Concerning lend lease to Russia. 30% of their rolling stock was supplied by the US, including the RR engines. Even the majority of the rails they ran on came from the US.
Radio communications were vital for maneuvering their Armies and that equipment and technology along with the knowledge of how to use it came from the US and Britain.
The Russians had no expertise in signal intelligence. That is part of the reason they were so surprised by Hitlers invasion. Britain supplied all the equipment and expertise to Russia to develop their sig int capability.
When the Russians drove over the mountains into Czechoslovakia, they did so in US trucks using Lend lease M4 Sherman tanks. Their own T34s were not mechanically reliable enough for a movement of that distance and even if they had been their all metal tracks would have had to be frequently replaced.
What a long, factual and well written post that unfortunately didn’t include a single mention of people not wanting to take the jab because they aren’t safe.
It is ‘per se’ about this ‘vaccine’.
It does not matter if it is unsafe or a placebo. The fight is with tyrants and their fascist allies in the private sector who now presume the power of life or death.
They are not physicians. More importantly, they are not MY physician.
They are but interlopers promiscuously engaged in a most seditious form of molestation and tortious interference.
The shameless assault of lawlessness is the great tell. This lawless usurpation of OUR physician-patient relationship is an affront to all that is sacred and good and true.
We are encountering the greatest coordinated and unconscionable assault on Life, Liberty and The Pursuit of Happiness the planet has seen in our mutual lifetimes.
Nuremberg 2. The time has come. Let the trials begin.
What was good for the 3rd Reich is good for the 5th Reich now emerging before our eyes.
I agree. I DO think they are unsafe, but the issue is coercion, to force people to undergo an experimental medical procedure.
Oppose the MANDATE, not the Vax. Its a matter of “framing the issue”; the narrative of the debate.
They have tried (without much success, IMHO) to frame “US” as “knuckle dragging ignorant hick anti-vaxers” which isn’t working out too well, when you have nurses, paramedics and PHD’s refusing it.
Never the less, opposing MANDATING is the way to go, I believe.
Unsafe and ineffective aren’t going to convince anyone who is brainwashed by msm, I fear.
So many people still don’t know the ‘vaccines’ are ineffective and unsafe… as evidenced by the parents of 3 to 11 year old children rushing to get them ‘vaccinated’.
Republicans should definitely be fighting the mandates but they should also be saying loud and clear at every opportunity that they are dangerous. The latter is something virtually none of the do. In fact they still say ‘vaccines’ are safe and effective.
As I informed my employer. I will not take the jabs because they have not been tested per the standard FDA protocol. But even if they had been properly tested I would still refuse because the Federal Government clearly does not have the Constitutional authority to mandate their use.
< aint moving off my stand
I drove truck for several years.
Log books. Nazi MTO officials. Scales. Speed governed to 50 mph. Insane drivers from imported nations that have no respect for heavy loads and stopping times. Waits at terminals unpaid.
Seriously! Half the truckers must be begging for a reason to quit anyway. They have regulated the fun out of driving truck years ago.
DD
Dan Dale: They regulated the fun out of everything else, too.
I hope you’ve read the wonderful weekly reports that rah, a commenter, mostly on the Open Thread and who is a trucker, posts on Saturdays.
He is meticulous in telling us the intricate details of his weekly goings on. What he writes is tremendously eye opening and extremely interesting about what the job involves. It takes a special person to do that job, a job that might go according to plan but more times than not doesn’t. I have enormous respect for those whose profession it is.
It was my Step-Dad’s occupation. I recall terrible neck and back strain and other medical conditions he suffered. It’s very honest work.
The constant jiggling of the truck on uneven roads, long sitting times, does terrible things to your innards.
My son is an industrial tech for a well known HVAC company. He knows his stuff. Without him, there would be a lot of miserably hot people here in Texas. He is a wise man. I’m so proud of him, as he rebuilt his life in a similar manner to Mike Lindell.
What an amazing man your step father is. My husband is my son’s stepfather and has played a huge part in my son’s life’s turning around. Suffice it to say that my husband showed him what hard hard work was, done professionally and with honourable execution and no complaint. I credit him in great part for being the best teacher my son ever had.
And he lives in Leander?.
Its what Marxist do.
Accountability and liberty are interlinked.
You cannot have one, without the other.
By removing personal accountability, they are removing freedom.
I’d just point out the feds will clear out unvaxed truck drivers for unvaxed illegals who need neither a vax or commercial drivers license. Unfortunately, they don’t read road signs in English or any other language since they can’t read. Wishing I could laugh but unsuspecting drivers lost their lives or were seriously injured coming down the last 8% downgrade on I-70 coming into Denver.
The commercial truck driver survived but said he couldn’t read English & didn’t know what the graphics meant. Couldn’t speak English either. Buttegieg is all over this solution.
On top of all this: few workers at the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles are signing up for the new night shift.
Nothing in, nothing out. Shut it all down and make the commies pay.
The Polish Solidarity model, is an effective proven method to defeat communism.
Its the very reason the Uniparty establishment employs intersectionalism, to divide and conquer the majority of the US population.
They want the supply chain to fail. More “emergency” payouts more government dependency tighter restrictions.
Emergency payouts don’t help when there’s nothing on the shelves to buy.
At the end of the day, no matter how they try to inflate us into poverty they can’t defeat the productive class because their value lies in the work they are able to do and worst case we just barter that skill for the necessities we can’t produce ourselves.
The most valuable thing to invest in these days isn’t gold, it’s in the tools you’ll need to keep your family fed and a roof over their head. You can’t eat gold if the food runs out. A gold coin isn’t going to fix the hole in your roof if no one has the tools to actually patch it.
Amen! You are SO RIGHT, Chris Johnson!
As a bonus, they have a really, really hard time taxing barter.
Notice that the CEO of the Truckers Association appears to have a very cushy office.
This is the rule for union bosses, not the exception.
Union bosses are to their members, what Kevin McCarthy is to Republican voters.
This IDIOT and his Admin. are going to be voted out of existence, for this bullshit.
Hopefully never to hold office again…on any planet.
No, he won’t.
Who’s going to be counting the votes, anyway?
Agree. Their kind should never rise again!
We (America) won’t survive to get to the vote. See what this admin has done in 9 months. By 2024 it’ll be too late.
Out of 10 drivers at the construction company I work for, 1 driver has been vaccinated. The rest say they won’t get it. Company has been put on notice as has the Teamsters local. We’re not doing it and we’re not alone. Conversations with drivers from other companies in the area are the same.
As much as I dislike the American Trucking Association, it appears they finally got something right. It’s not just freight that will shut down. Without trucks, the infrastructure doesn’t get built, or repaired.
Wasn’t that money that is dog eared for infrastructure basically the fee for the folks who stole the election for the maggot in the White House? How much of that money would really go to what it was intended to go to?
Like water molecules starting to boil…at first a few start to rise, then bump against one another…faster and faster until the whole kettle is rolling. These tyrannical imbeciles really have not their plans through to a natural conclusion. But here it comes. They’ll learn soon enough.
And even more metaphoric is the heat of vaporization. The temperature rises constantly as heat is given into the pot, but stops rising just below boiling because the energy is going into the effort needed to move from a liquid to a gas. The graph remains flat until this heat is absorbed and suddenly everything flashes into steam.
This is how a steam boiler explosion works. Under a bit of pressure, a tank of water can absorb all this heat and remain a liquid well above 212 degrees. But if the pressure is lost, the entire mass of water will flash into steam at once, and that is an expansion of sixteen to one. Steam explosions are impressive and dangerous.
Like being confined in a tank, we are constrained by our adherence to Just Law, but just like heated water we are gathering energy until the inevitable explosion. And, unlike water where we can measure the energy going in, the exact time of this explosion is unpredictable. When we suddenly realize that the Law isn’t Just, watch out. It could happen a year from now, it could happen today.
That is so interesting, Malatrope. And yes, very much more accuate. I can feel, as you no doubt can, the rage building. The question is how much more before the explosion happens suddenly, and probably violently. I have no crystal ball for that one. But Nature’s laws won’t be denied. Though I pray not.
Be the sand in the machine….and a rock if needed….
Use your imagination….Unintended Consequences….Become ungovernable.
There are cures for covid. That they are being suppressed is the reason I will remain an anti-vaxxer. Every other disease that has cures discusses the cures. Why not this one? But I do think about what the world will be like if only the anti-vaxxers survive.
”Why not this one?” Answer: money.
Cures for Covid? Sure.
But there ain’t no cure for stupid.
What happens when Pelosi can’t get her $24.00/ pint “designer” Ice cream, at ANY price?
Dutchman,
She might have to settle for her usual “Baby soul milk shakes”?
Academics are not a part of a cohesive unit. Due to their solo nature each are terrified of being called out should they stray from their area of expertise.
What’s interesting is veterans putting a hard stop to the jab. A collective thread running through vets is an oath to the Constitution and among themselves among. Most likely they can be the core of the resistance.
I am an unjabbed Vet as is my husband and we’re gonna stay that way. Kids and grandkids too.
This good news about truck drivers and the jab, but…will the truck drivers (companies & independent owner operators) strike against the insane energy policies of this administration eading to skyrocketing fuel prices? Not renewing oil leases, shutting down pipelines, and preventing gasoline refineries, no new sources of hydrocarbon fuels, but importing ME and Russian oil is okay?
We need truckers to do something about high fuel prices.
Don’t expect truckers to do all the heavy lifting. We all have a dog in this fight. We can all participate in strikes and slowdowns. Do your part.
I had to take early retirement in August. Told the HR people, no mask and no jab!
Hard to believe that 63% of truckers are complying with a vax.
Well ya know, it’s taken from ‘Poll’ Data; and we know how reliable polls are.
I’d safely guess the percentage is much MUCH higher than what they let on.
Regardless of this obvious communist over-reach by the Demented Fraud administration and it’s potential impact on labor and society as a whole, is the fact that the diminished healthcare system, because of these ridiculous vax mandates, will soon be overwhelmed with vaccinated people getting deathly sick from the covid variants their compromised immune systems can’t fight.
Have you heard – a new healthcare system is growing out of the ranks of those who just got fired. They will be in very high demand by anyone who cares whether those people entrusted with their medical care have strong principles.
Maybe my blood will be in high demand in 5 years if I live that long! No vax for me!
I truly hate to say..or think…this…but…I hope their demise happens in time to save my ass…
The vaxxed ., I mean…I mean or wish harm upon no one..but I will not submit to the vaxx..and I pray for those who have crossed the event horizon…the rubicon….the point of no return….may God shed his Mercy upon them….
The Event Horizon….
I read a story today at the covid blog of seven doctors who have died since October. One was making his rounds in the hospital and they found him unresponsive and was unable to revive him. It is going to be a bigger nightmare when doctors and nurses are dying because if the toxic shots and their patients don’t have anyone to care for them.
Which COVID blog?
Maybe the Biden administration wants to destroy the American economy.
The Biden administration cancels private oil pipelines, causing gasoline prices to rise and rise.
Starving people beg for communism; they beg for the boot of the State to crush their faces.
It is depressing to see what the globalist billionaires have known all this time about the average person.
Remember: they took their suitcases with them on the trains to Auschwitz. They couldn’t imagine that anyone in the government wanted to hurt or kill them.
Those starving people never had a tradition of independence nor sufficient arms to defend themselves. America is not 1920’s Russia or 1930’s Germany.
We won’t beg for communism from the very idiots who caused the problem. Honestly? King Donald I is more likely than these clowns holding onto power if things get desperate for the common man.
It’s a ten thirty three America.
FJB.
Ten four.
….c’aint nobody f s up like a trucker…even joebama…show’em what you made of boys…shut dey ass down….(drove trucks eight yrs…loved driving trucks, hated the business)….
Retired Magistrate here: I might be retired but I can still do my part by refusing to be controlled by a government that I no longer have any confidence in. I have done my research and there is no way that I am taking this shot. Neither is my husband or my brother.
As far as I am concerned it is “Live Free or Die.” Freedom is GOD given; not government given.
It is what we each must do – anyway we can. Each day the divide between between freemen and natural slaves grows sharper. We need not be the majority to win. But we must be united in our resolve to live as freemen or to die fighting.
Sticky notes, on empty store shelves; this empty shelf courtesy of Joe Biden!
Hit gas pumps, store shelves, anywhere it will be seen.

Who is John Galt?
We ALL are, and we can all do this.
Dutchman,
For the time being, I am plastering everywhere I go with…
“LET’S GO BRANDON!!!” Post-its…
And I mean EVERYWHERE!!!!

I paid my dues in Vietnam for this country, no mask and no jab!
Pa Hermit,
May I say (belatedly) ?
THANK YOU
&
WELCOME HOME!
Strength’N’Honor,

Retired Magistrate here: So did my brother, John. His entire family has ostracized him for not taking the jab; however, he is standing strong. He had covid and got over it with no help whatsoever from the VA. They told him he had it and to go home and get over it. He did.
There is strength in numbers as we all know.
There are many times when we feel alone in this. I know I do. But we are anything but. I believe the despots have underestimated our numbers. And I am with you. As I said often to my children, “No means NO!”
Pure Bloods need to unite for the coming vax -zombie apocalypse.
The Borg heart weighs heavy tonight with troubled Spirits who have come through the very fabric of space-time to warn of the future of Man. The Spirits speak to us with cries of anguish and sadness, for they know what is about happen.
We will be cast out like lepers, prosecuted and tried like witches and warlocks, forced into camps and reservations. Vast numbers of Pure Bloods will be rounded up and sent on long journeys to their new “homes”, God-forbidden Hell holes where we can easily be contained and maintained. These will be the places of our death, where our spirit dies, no one will hear our cries, no one will ever know we once walked the Earth. We will perish in a frozen place as the last Bald Eagle is shredded by the whirling blades of Al Gore’s windmill.
Such awful things have happened before, they will happen again.
We need a singular identity, a slogan, a symbol, a flag, a rally cry; something to declare our uniqueness and independence from the vax-zombies who now walk amongst us in growing numbers. Names will be taken, homes of the un-vassed will be marked as in olden times. The Spirits tell us:
You do not have a right to exist. The state will decide the degree of your utility and how best to serve the collective.
The “vaccine” is the disease.
You can’t teach sheep to attack wolves.
Trying to have reasoned discourse with the true believer is a fool’s errand.
Emotion and feelings trump logic and reasoning. The vaxxed true believer acts only on the perceptual; he abhors the conceptual. The ideal of immutable moral absolutes confounds him as he believes all things are relative. To him, even words should not be “confined” to strict meanings; the meaning of a word is relative to the context of how it’s used and the intention of the speaker. Good/bad, yes/no, right/wrong have gone from black and white certainty to milky shades of grey. Even mathematicians speak of their “fuzzy logic”.
The vaxxed true believer gladly forfeits his inalienable natural rights (per John Locke) in exchange for shinny little trinkets of perceived safety, longevity, and social acceptance. He clutches these gifts and waves them for all to see, “See! See all these wonderful things Satan has given onto me so that I may live longer than my brother.” And when thy gifts from Satan turn to piles of stink and rot, and thy body erupts into boils and pustulation, only then will thou cry and howl for those things given away with great glee only moments ago. For it is only then ye shall learn —
God forgives, Satan does not.
Should prove interesting…don’t forget to yank their chain at appropriate intervals…
We Are Borg,
Identity? Symbol? Slogan?
How about… “The ORGANICS”? vs The “SYNTHETICS”?
Best,

Having been betrayed by my USN spouse, well yes of course….we need to band together. It’s harder than hell for me to find a reason to live right now. I gave up years to his career, in 2019 gave up literally everything I ever worked for and earned to follow this backstabber to Hampton Roads Va. Only to find out he caved like a cheap Chinese suit in Norfolk, Jan 2021. And lied lied lied about it til last week after vowing he would NEVER take the poison jab. I am down. I am not out. I find solace in knowing this brings me closer to our Creator, no matter how I feel I cannot go on.
cymrufem,
There is life after betrayal.
I know..
Please be thankful that you are now “informed”?
And “organic”..
“What doesn’t kill you…” and all that…
He doesn’t deserve you.
Now YOU know that…
he might take a while to figure that out..
My Mumm used to say.. “I Wish them well…”
Best,
skipper
Betrayal may be hardest to overcome.
Please “ hang in” there are many who will encourage you.
Cheers!
Yes, cymrufem. Please please continue to join in here. There is so much support and friendship available on this beautiful site.
I for one am extremely interested in your name. It caught my attention straight away.
Cymru…Wales…if there is a connection I’d love to learn more, as it was my home for 2 decades. In the meantime you are among so many here who could offer much moral support and perhaps help. You just never know. God be with you.
Not sure if you’ll ever return here, but I wanted to drop a few lines anyway.
There’s nothing I can say to lessen the pain of betrayal. There’s always a reason to live, why did you allow this obvious sack of steaming horse apples to bring you to this point? You need a healthy dose of Ayn Rand. Love, true love, is not based on self-sacrifice.
One should never live solely for the sake of another, not even in marriage. That’s not to say we can’t make little sacrifices, even major ones, so long as we do it as an act of love and derive pleasure from that act. Likewise, those we love should willingly return the favor. Seems to me you may have made too many sacrifices for all the wrong reasons.
Let’s suppose you planned a fishing trip Saturday morning with your father but forgot your daughter has a soccer game. Dad lives on a lake and goes fishing all the time, it’s not a bit deal, you can catch up with him later. So you take the kid to her game, you sacrificed your fishing trip. Why? Because you derive great pleasure of seeing her kick in her first goal. You derive great pleasure listening to her post-game analysis at Pizza Hut. It shot the whole afternoon, but it was worth it. There’s plenty of time to go fishing with dad, how often does your daughter score the winning goal with mom there to cheer her on?
But if your father is terminally ill, that fishing trip takes on a whole different meaning and priority. This may very well be the last time the two of you will be able to do this together; it’s important for you to be there because the two of you have lot of things to say to each other. You sacrifice being at your daughter’s game to be with your father.
The point is this: you choose what to sacrifice to fit the priorities and needs of the moment, not because of someone else’s expectations or some moral obligation. You derived a greater pleasure on that particular day knowing you had one last father-daughter talk while he’s still cogent. You wouldn’t have given that up for all the money in the world — and I think your daughter would understand. There will be other soccer / softball / basketball games.
But enough philosophizing! I hope my ramblings didn’t drive you into deeper state of depression, I sometimes have that effect on people.
Oh, it may seem like an odd time to bring this up, but — that is one UGLY cat! I’d be depressed too if I had a cat that looked like that, LOL! You’re emotionally beat up, but you’re gonna be ok (not sure about the cat).
Wrong!!!! ? That cat is adorable…. He looks like cookies and cream ice cream!!!!
Sorry for this, can’t imagine. Stay strong, someone else needs you, even if a friend. Find these people, several of my friends surrendered. Others havekids in college that we’re forced to get the jab. Ivermectin was sent immediately. I found an Indian pharmacy here that worked with no prescription. Takes 1 month, get it now.
https://www.alldaychemist.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=Ivermectin+
Don’t need sheep to attack wolves. That’s why we incorporate guard dogs!
Good luck with trying to round up the unvaxxed when your clot-shotted stormtroopers drop from heart attacks the first time they try to hoof it in full gear.
There are also way too many unvaxxed who the lynchpins of functioning society for them to pull it off. Civilization collapses in a week if they removed all the unvaxxed and those elitist billionaires will find out that money is only useful if there’s something to buy with it.
These pampered infantile elites have zero clue what happens when civilization stops functioning. When civilization breaks down it’s those skilled in physical violence who end up atop the new social order.
As one person put it, when civilization falls we’ll see real alchemy in action as those with the lead also end up with all the gold.
Interesting take, we should know in about 6 – 18 months. The multiple”boosters” are going to do most of the damage, from what I’m reading.
Why mandate any kind of shot where the protection wanes after two month? This doesn’t make any sense at all.
Well, that’s why. It stinks. If it was any good, they would not have to mandate it.
Yep…
Its not SUPPOSED to make sense, in fact the more nonsensical the better, from the enemies point of view.
Does chicks with dicks, make SENSE?
Does the whole Climate Change hoax, make SENSE?
Does Critical Race Theory make SENSE?
Does Russia, Russia make SENSE?
How about the 2020 election?
Its not supposed to make sense, its supposed to divide us, because if we are divided, and fighting each other, we are not united, in fighting THEM.
Divide and Conquer is their strategy, the false narrative their tactic.
THIS ^^^^^!!!
Instead of saying “Thank you for your service” to those who have been in some branch or other of the military, it would make more sense to say it to a trucker.
The old school truckers were the Knights of the Road…these days not so much…
They seem to be shaping up as King of Battle.
…and I stand as their trusty squire…long out of the business but chomping at the bit…regulation is the friend of the marxist and the enemy of the free man…that said…I got out of it because I had to work 120 hrs for a forty hour return…wasn’t worth it
In those older days, it was demanded to defend your country. The draft caused 6 years of your life, 2 as active duty! Vietnam was a hell hole! Chickens ran to deferments or Canada!
Not trying to yank your chain, I was a student deferment guy in 1970. The damn war was STILL going on in ’72 when I receive a friendly reminder from the draft board that the clock was ticking, had one year left. I seem to recall the draft ended in ’73 (could be wrong on that). The point is it was a DEFERMENT, not a get-out-of-jail-free card.
The irony of the whole thing is I actually looked into a naval career near graduation time. I saw the last helicopter take off from the roof of the U.S. embassy in Saigon while watching a TV in the recruiter’s office — April 15th, 1975. I could’ve had my choice of virtually any career path I wanted — and as an OFFICER, to boot! They sent me on several free trips to a couple of naval bases to see all kinds of cool stuff. I was even allowed to set foot in an L.A. class attack sub and a missile boat, got the gold-card tour of everything except the reactor spaces.
I came to the conclusion the military really sucked, saw some stuff on one of the tours that really soured me on the whole adventure. Another problem was my medicals were sub-par due to chronic high-blood pressure issues.
The tiny thing that bothers me about your post is you call people like me “chickens” while YOU allowed yourself to be DRAFTED! Why didn’t you join? Maybe you tried and were turned down by Navy or Air Farce. The Marines tend to be a bit more picky, the Army will take you if there’s a sustained heartbeat for more than 30 seconds.
Not trying to pick a fight here, I get where you’re coming from, but the whole getting-drafted thing didn’t seem to jive with you’re calling everyone else “chicken”.
It’s very encouraging, seeing Patriots who have jobs that actually make a difference in the country, telling the illegitimate administration, to stick the experimental injection where the sun don’t shine.
This is why they will unleash smallpox and only give treatment to those who have taken the covid vax. Smallpox has a 30% mortality rate it will have a 100% mortality rate against the vaxxed who killed their immune systems.
My fear is Marburg. 88% mortality.
Get some IVM, and other recommended anti-virals. A nebulizer with Lugols. Extra parts. The IVM should work against almost any virus.
As a child, I was vaxxed against smallpox.
Me too, but I read some years ago that our immunity may be less than 10% now.
Same here, and I have the mark to prove it.
“ Southwest Airline pilots and Air Traffic Controllers, both groups hold a significant military service record.”
Most of us are pure civilian. You can’t dismiss us and our patriotism just because we are not vets.
Without civilian aviator buy-in the bite would be nowhere near as big since we make up over 2/3 of active commercial pilots.
A lot of the pilots ARE vets. They paid their dues in full!

I am wishing not merely for resistance but some strategy too. Where are the strikes. How about refusing to work in certain places or for certain groups.
Concentrate on things like Pelosi’s ice cream and Biden’s adult diapers.
…or the third Barack Hussein Obama admin….
Us? Or them?
IMO the 27% that are saying “hell no” are the ones with options. These are people with skills that will leave and land somewhere else in 10 min. Yes, it’s a PITA, but they would rather do that than risk permanent health damage. I fully support their right to choose without being told they can’t work. It’s BS.
Gonna come a day….reply intended for outhouse too…
SD,
May I offer an “un” or “under” measured “demographic”?
The “gig” or freelance worker.
At least at the present, as a freelance contractor, I am “allowed” the option to take (or not) employment of my choice.
As a consequence, this virus BULLSHIT has cost me an estimated $40-$50K.. (but I am probably not included in their phony, cooked “numbers” of unemployed)..
As I have said many times..
“It’s not about the ingredients, nor the possible adverse reactions..
It IS about the agency and autonomy that EVERY citizen, nay, HUMAN is given by GOD!!!”
I WILL NOT COMPLY!!!
If “they” want to jab me? “They” will have to come to my door…
“Go ahead! PET the cobra!!”
Warmest Best,

Having worked in clinical research and been a study subject in many legit FDA clinical trials dating back to 2007, yes indeed it IS about the ingredients, adverse reactions, and absolute cluster F of this entire human experiment. GOD HELP US!!!!
cymrufem,
Forgive me. I might have qualified my comment with “Speaking for myself”?
I meant no offense.
There’s a little more than a cobra waitin’ when you come knockin’!
Pa Hermit,
Copy that.
“Cobra”..
“Python”…

We are the majority. I swear they know this is real fight they don’t want. There are more of us than them.
Why are we not rising up in the streets as are countless other countries?
Our timeline is different. Were not quite there…yet.
Remember we were late to the party in WWII. But when we arrived? Boy oh BOY! It will come.
Our Safeway has no regular or organic milk since a few days. Did not look today.
It’s upsetting but I am with the Rock Solid ones and I stand with them.
I will not be forced.
Well, it’s even worse. Today, Sam’s Club was out of Kettle One.
Regardless, love the truckers.
That’s ok, try “LEVEL.”
A relative of mine owns an engineering/survey business. A competitor of his decided a vax mandate would be a good idea & imposed it on their company. The entire survey department (100%) QUIT. They were all hired almost immediately by another company & competitor in the business. No survey department is going to cripple this mandating company – consequences of a stupid, unnecessary decision were swift & brutal. We’ll see if they survive going into the future – they’re going to have a hard time hiring new crews.
We need SO much more of this.
I hadn’t thought about this since I don’t fly. Thanksgiving travel via airlines I don’t think is going to be fun. It would be a great time for more pilots to have a sick day, or two, or three.

Always have loved that film. Kris K is an inspiration!
My husband works for a federal contractor. In the last 2-3 weeks 3 people have died after they received a toxic jab. I learned about the third one today from the Schwann man. He’s very upset because the last gentleman was his friend.
On problem these contractors are discovering is they cannot replace those who leave because they are highly skilled. Like my husband, who is an engineer, is working on a building project, if he leaves because they want him to take this jab their program grinds to a slow trickle until they replace him, which could take many weeks. Others work directly for the navy and they are said they are not taking this jab so they can just fire them, but the navy has said they can’t afford to lose those people. So the next few months could prove very interesting.
The vaxx are killing people…outright and immediately sometimes…A co-workers healthy mother in law collapsed in the pharmacy 15 minutes after her second jab…she died one month later after twitching on the bed…for one month…true story and I can and will back it up….
She died twitching on her bed…A formerly healthy woman….65? Years…
Kirbyville TX
….the poor woman twitched on her bed and died after doing so for one month…that was her sad fate….and this isn’t fake news…it’s reality…in living color…
USN is brutal. No religious exemptions. I am divorcing my spouse for caving in Jan 21 and lying to me up til last week, after solemnly vowing to never take the jab. F* THE USN and the gutless worms that cave to them. At least now I know. Knowledge is power.
I’m sorry about your marriage. May I ask if you still love him? I understand how awful you must feel that he lied to you for so long, but has he said why?
My husband got the vax because his work place went ahead and set up appointments for everyone, sorta very pointedly. Then he got COVID 5 days after the first shot. Still foolishly went and took the 2nd shot, even though he knows he had antibodies. He didn’t want to rock the boat because he was the new guy at work, was fired from his former company during the pandemic and as a man in his 50’s, knows it’s hard to find a new job in his field. So a lot of fear overrode his better judgment.
What I learned, sadly, is that my husband is not as strong as I am. I have faith in God that everything will be okay. He doesn’t have that faith. I’m under a mandate at work, seeking a religious accommodation, but I’m going to force them to fire me if they deny it. And then I’ll file EEOC against them and take it from there. I’m at peace realizing I may never get another job in my field. Heck, I thought about doing trucking myself! New career?
Anyway, sometimes those we love are not as strong as we would like them to be. I have continued to work on my husband, and am seeing him now start to agree that these shots don’t work and it doesn’t make sense to do boosters. I consider that progress.
Some of us have the gift of discernment. Actually, it’s why I like this website so much. Lots of great discerners here. That may be maybe 20% or so who can easily discern issues, see problems and flaws, etc. Your husband and mine are likely not good discerners. That does not mean they’re stupid or bad, they just have different gifts.
Please excuse my butting in, just wanted to give a different perspective. I don’t like divorce and hate to see COVID tearing families apart.
Many blessings to you, whatever you decide and whatever path you take.
In marriage, we take our spouses as they come…faults and weaknesses included. You obviously know that per your very good and honest post. I’d be in a lot of trouble in mine if my husband required I had to be perfect. But we are partners in this life, each walking the other home.
We didn’t vow to love and support one another unless. There are hills, and, yes, valleys, some very deep. But we travel them together. I’d have it no other way. Nor would he. He is my earthly rock, and should the worst happen, I know I have someone who will stay with me, have my back, and who loves me. He knows the same.
Bless you both.
Please don’t act in haste. I admit we have only a snapshot of your circumstances. We are headed into unknown territory with all of this. God provides a way when there seems to be none, cymrufem. Can you hold tight for a while? It might be the best thing you can do for yourself at this point. I offer this impertinent advice out of concern.
How about only 3.5% of jabs transported in 3.5% of the truck. That would be a good start.
I like your math…
‘I still do not believe a federal mandate for a vaccine is even possible or legal. ‘
But by the time a decision works its way through the courts, the country collapses.
Once again we see it . . .

It’s frightening that anyone would think that way…and even more frightening that others follow them.
The working class is just beginning to flex their muscles.
This was a fight you never should have picked.
And they won’t get that toothpaste back in the tube.
The truck drivers should embargo Washington, DC and its surrounding metropolitan area. No deliveries in. No deliveries out. As for Washington, DC, itself–take a page out of the BLM/Antifa playbook and stop their trucks at all entrances to the city. Block the highways and bridges. Block any streets as well. Let the democrats see the results of their fascism.
While I’d love to see it, they will simply use the military to air lift supplies in. It would be great if the military would simply refuse, but I don’t know that that would happen.
If it’s inevitable so be it. Bring it on. Let’s roll!
Methinks these arrogant, holier-than-thou child molesters have bitten off more than they can chew. Let’s hope they choke on it, HARD.
I edited my comment.
WHERE is John Galt? Or George Washington? Or William Wallace (“Unite the Clans!”)? Or Mahatma Ghandi? Or MLK, Jr.?
Shut. It. Down.
Bring the tyrants to heel with unconditional demands and surrender … or we Burn. It. Down. and Decorate. Lamp. Posts. owing to starving citizens who finally find freedom because “Freedom’s just another word for nothing left to lose.”
For years, even before the escalator ride, polls (for what they are worth) showed clear majority wanted secure borders, voter I.D.etc. and yet the elites kept giving us b.s.
The thing is, except for the few citisens who went down to the border (and got labeled “vigilantes”) there wasn’t much the “average american” could DO about these issues.
THIS is the Hill to make THEM die on, because A) its very personal and direct, B) we CAN do something about it.
Yes, its a sacrifice to take being fired, over the mandate, yet with the employment situation what it is, most CAN find other jobs, where the mandate isn’t enforced.
A job is just a job, but the jab is your LIFE, and being forced to take it, is surrendering your liberty.
I actually hope they continue to push the mandate (I don’t see how they can back away from it now, nor do I see any evidence they are) as this MAY be the catalyst, where all the cold rage thats been building for YEARS, since Fast/Furious or longer, finally is focused, and released.
In which case these athiests better give their souls to Jesus, cause their *ss is ours.
They don’t care what you want…
Or millions of you…
Get a copy of the Cloward-Piven Strategy, read it and you will understand why the Biden gang is creating the crises that are meant to destroy our economic system.
OSHA already has indicated that most truck drivers would be exempt from the mandate.
“… the number of unvaccinated workers is essentially unwavering in the past six weeks …”
And will increase when the CFC redefines “fully vaccinated” as having taken booster #X.
