Red States, Blue States, Red Regions and Blue Regions present an incredible disparity within our republic; I’m curious what is the current status of the COVID lifestyle near you. What is going on in/around your town, city, region or hamlet?
Having traveled extensively during this COVID crisis it is quite amazing the scale of difference between cities and states. The media has been reporting in large generic terms, but the stuff that matters is how it impacts your life; your daily function. That’s what we are all interested in.
Right now those who wish to “fundamentally change” our nation are waging a full frontal assault against our constitutional republic. The bombardment seems overwhelming.
It is remarkable how different life amid COVID is within each state, even when two states are right next to each other; and often even between two cities within the same state.
…So how is it your area?
In order to support the most important political objectives of the DNC writ large in the 2020 election, COVID-19 hype is essential:
♦Without COVID-19 panic Democrats cannot easily achieve ‘mail-in’ voting; which they desperately need in key battleground states in order to control the outcome.
♦Without COVID-19 panic Democrats cannot shut down rallies and political campaigning efforts of President Trump; which they desperately need to do in key battleground states.
♦Without COVID-19 panic Democrats cannot block the campaign contrast between an energetic President Trump and a physically tenuous, mentally compromised, challenger.
♦Without COVID-19 panic Democrats do not have a mechanism to keep voters isolated from each-other; limiting communication and national debate adverse to their interests. COVID-19 panic pushes the national conversation into the digital space where Big Tech controls every element of the conversation.
♦Without COVID-19 panic Democrats cannot keep their Blue state economies easily shut-down and continue to block U.S. economic growth. All thriving economies are against the political interests of Democrats.
♦Without COVID-19 panic Democrats cannot easily keep club candidate Joe Biden heavily controlled and sealed inside the bubble; where the electorate is not exposed to visible signs of his dementia.
♦Without COVID-19 panic it becomes more difficult for Big Tech to censor voices that would outline the fraud and scheme. With COVID-19 panic they have a better method and an excuse.
♦Without COVID-19 panic Democrats cannot advance, influence, or organize their preferred presidential debate format, a ‘virtual presidential debate’ series.
♦Without COVID-19 panic the economy would rebound quickly and people would go back to work. This is against the interests of Democrats.
All of these, and more, strategic outcomes are based on the manufactured weaponization of the COVID-19 virus to achieve a larger political objective. There is ZERO benefit to anyone other than Democrats for the overwhelming hype surrounding COVID-19.
It is not coincidental that all corporate media are all-in to facilitate the demanded fear that Democrats need in order to achieve their objectives. Thus there is an alignment of all big government institutions and multinationals to support the same.
Nothing is coincidental.
Everything is political.
Every second that you live your life with thankfulness for the abundance within it; every moment that we CHOOSE to engage with fellowship; every day that we accept guidance from God – however you define him to be; and every moment we cherish this time to be a beacon of optimism; is a moment that we withstand that barrage and hold the flag in place. It is a genuinely patriotic position not to succumb to the attack.
We must withstand this onslaught and rally to the origin of our true national spirit. We must rally to a standard of Americanism and accept this is not that. In essence, we must individually take a stand. Purposefully, deliberately and with forethought, we must engage those around us to get rid of this sense of foreboding.
This approach is how we win the larger battle.
All around us, in every tribe and region, there are people who need you to show them the strength that you have. Strength of spirit. Strength of fellowship that you will not relent from expressing. No matter what noise is shouting from the loudspeakers we must withstand it; we must make eye contact and remain joyful. We cannot allow despair to be the status quo.
Our MAGA message is optimistic; and we must fight against any tendency to allow the leftist hatred and scheme against our American value system to impact delivery of that message… #Trump2020

So Cali here, masks are mandated but it is mixed use. 60/40 wearing the Mask of the Beast.
The way I see it if you willingly wear a mask over your mouth you have already said I COMPLY I WILL SHUT UP.
Stores are stocked with 99% of stuff, no shortages except Lotto scratchers….A lot of Trump flags n stickers around, a few Biden2020 stickers on cars. Not many yard signs this year, nor even election signs for those running…
Rolling brown outs are plaguing most areas thanks to our “New Green Deal” that is old and crusty and utterly stupid.
SF Peninsula here. 95% wearing masks including very young children and toddlers in strollers. Sheople everywhere. Went into gas station for 30 seconds to drop $20.bill for pump #10 and was chased out because failed to mask up. Rolling power blackouts due to excessive heat. Welcome to the third world!
Those on the peninsula aren’t the smartest tacks in the box.
Down south in CA, only a couple of people wearing masks, while LA county required masks. Two paddled kayaks on the Newport Beach bay for hours wearing masks and the gal (an athlete) took it off after she reached shore, dragged her kayak up the beach and nobody else was wearing one.
We have two scenarios at hand. Either people don’t understand social distancing, UV rays and virus death, airborne virus transmission and the absolute failure of masks in the general public to mitigate COVID-19 virus transmission or COVID is not transmitted as the CDC and WHO warned.
No epidemic in the violent protesting world. No epidemic in the congressional world. No epidemic in SF hair wash and blow world. No epidemic in the religious meetings on the beach and in LV casinos. In the infamous words of Journey, “Who’s lying now?”
Kevin Kiley, a Republican state legislator here in Calif, has gotten my household’s attention. He and James Gallagher, who I assume is another legislator, are suing Gov Newsom. I think that the lawsuit revolves around how Newsom has taken over so many dictatorial decrees, reagrding COVID, decrees taht trample both the US Constitution and the state constitution, without including the legislature. He mentions Newsom is facing thirty other lawsuits. ***** In my county, Lake County, the Registrar of Voters is refusing to send off the signatures collected on the recall Newsom petitions. Also, other Registrar of Voters are behaving in the same manner. *** Minnesota, the state of Washington and California are all circling in on the state taking possession of babies and children from their parents should the parents test COVID positive. In mid June 2020, a parent lost the children to the state, despite hiring a lawyer and despite making provisions that the children go to a relative while he or she recovered from COVID. The judge did not care – the children were ordered to become wards of the state. Here is the notice about Minnesota: https://nationalfile.com/exclusive-minnesota-plans-to-put-kids-in-foster-care-if-parents-get-coronavirus/
The state of Minnesota Department of Human Services, in coordination
with the Minnesota governor’s “Children’s Cabinet,” quietly sent a
form to child care providers informing them that parents who contract
Coronavirus might have their children placed in “foster care.”
Considering the widespread epidemic of false positive Coronavirus
tests, this document obtained by NATIONAL FILE presents the potential
for a disturbing new precedent. And once children are in the foster
care system, how soon if ever will they actually get released back to
their parents? The form even states that the kids could be moved to
another foster care placement if necessary.
Yes this is chilling. Here is H.R. 867 a Clinton-era bill, made law, which fast-tracks adoption of foster children:

I received this text, yesterday from one of my best friends/business partner. It will warm your heart….it did mine anyway. She drove from Louisiana to Georgia.
Here is the text:
I hate driving.. I hate driving across 4 states and back in 2 days.
But I had a smile on my face today as I passed cars, trucks, rv’s, motorcycles, and many lines of mini parades of American flags and TRUMP Flags on the interstate!!
People getting together and just getting out there. I honked and waved at every single one and EVERY SINGLE PERSON WAS SMILING ❤️??❤️??❤️????
Now to my slice of heaven. Our electricity was restored in only 3 days after the hurricane.
My town in Louisiana is living life. The local restaurants are full, like the good old days. People are practically sitting in each others laps. Ignoring John Bel Edwards. There is a recall drive being pushed right now. They actually have petition signing sights set up all over the state.
Love it….still, I hope that Republicans all around the nation, particularly in swings states, are filing lawsuits NOW to stop mail in voting. And of course, that all those you saw driving get out and vote. p.s., bring a friend to the polls.
SE Texas. I-10 runs through my county. Busy. Normal rush hour traffic through Houston now. Alt route State Hwy 90 Beaumont to Houston less travelled.
Low Covid here in Liberty County. Most stores no mask required.
Devers ISD started in school three weeks ago. In school, mind you. No issues reported, none expected. My grandson started pre-k this school year.
Travel in Texas is safe. Avoid Austin at all costs, some protest but more riots than protests there. Mostly contained. I won’t get anywhere close to there anyway.
Traffic is as it ought to be. Congested at rush hour… Houston (Harris County) and all surrounding counties are back to normal.
Help wanted signs everywhere 🙂
You’re right about Austin. Besides riots, the used COVID excuse to re-open the city to homeless and they’re back in droves. All stores strictly require masks. Daughter started remote school 3 weeks ago. They start in person next week, but it’s optional. 60% say they will return in person. Masks required all day at school. Football is happening with 50% capacity with masks in outdoor stadium. Governor expected to announce lifting of some restrictions this week. I see about 10% of businesses still closed-not sure if permanent.
Austin,
My daughter invited me to Krause Springs this Labor Day weekend. When I informed her of the issues there she backed out of the entire trip. Tax dollars lost…
We love the place, the area, especially when the lake is up, like now. She wanted to be in the boat parade…
She came to my house instead and daddy took care of everything 🙂 Grilling and chilling all weekend and an early morning trip to Crystal Beach on Sunday.
Here in The Woodlands, TX, just north of Houston, the community colleges are just getting back to face-to-face classes on Tuesday. Face masks are required at all times while on campus. Everyone is screened upon arrival. Class size is limited to 28 with half attending on one day of the week and the other half attending on another day. Otherwise, classes are still online. I will meet students for the first time tomorrow.
Yup. Houston is largely back to normal. Except my husband can’t come with me to my OB apppointments, so unless that changes by my 20 week scan, we’ll be paying out of pocket for a private ultrasound so he can see his first baby.
Ridgecrest, CA, home of the 7.1 earthquake and very smokey skies. We have less then 90 positives cases but are in Kern County so we are punished because of Bakersfield’s high numbers. I refuse to wear a mask. I was Karen’d in Stater Bro and I just said “there are medical exemptions”. She harrumped and walked off.
I lived in Ridgecrest for quite a few years. Enjoyed my time there but was happy to leave the brown desert behind.
Had visitors here from CA (we’re in AZ) who were thrilled to be able to go sit in a restaurant and be waited on.
My personal admonition to them, and everyone here:
No one is going to tell you that you do not need to wear a mask anymore. They are waiting for we, the people, to tell them we are not going to wear them anymore, by NOT WEARING THEM ANYMORE.
Start tomorrow, if you have not already done so . . .
Live in AZ too. Haven’t worn a mask. Didn’t make it to a Drs. appt. (unnecessary) because I refused to wear a mask. Don’t wear a mask in any store/establishment. Stopped shopping Sprouts because they called the police on me when I refused to wear a mask but continued my shopping. Got out without incident, but customer ahead of me in check-out line didn’t have a mask & no harassment. I let Sprouts corporate know what I thought, and continue to do so. All the stores everyone is friendly and no one treats me any differently than the masked hordes.
I have to say I am so ashamed of my fellow Americans who are so easily cowed into wearing masks like good little sheep. Baaa!!! It appears they have no critical thinking skills. Sad really. Told a woman I saw today at the store I liked her mask, she liked mine too. We were both without masks.
Also never complied with the so-called lock down orders. Kept going out. Was creepy to be almost the only people on the streets. Now things are back to normal and it’s so great. We were in downtown Prescott a couple of weeks ago and tourists were going to get masks, but we told them, when asked, our community was free and we don’t have to wear masks.
The Lord Jesus Christ the God of all creation led me to live with joy and confidence during these difficult times because that’s what others need to see. I want my courage to be contagious. If we all did the same they would have absolutely no power over us. We need to fight and never back down, ever. This is OUR country, the greatest country on the face of the earth which has afforded us so many opportunities and blessings. We should repay our country by fighting with all of our might to protect her.
God bless America. Fight with all of your might!!!
PS Even though I’m a Nana, people don’t really mess with me, yet anyway.
Yep. Totally can relate. I walk into stores with my smile on and if that is not good enough for anyone, then they don’t have to look at me. In fact, it almost is like people do have blindfolds on with those masks because so many masked people avoid eye contact like crazy . , .
Debra, this Friday is a rally at the State Capitol against MASK mandate. I’ll be giving my mask fliers out (1500 distributed already) as it details why the masks are DANGEROUS especially the petrochemical materials that creates severe lung problems. Schools insist students wear MASKS and I hope parents sue when their kids faint or taken to the hospital which will happen especially if they’re running in AZ heat breathing in a combo of bromine, cyanide and butane ~ all poisonous … not to mention formaldehyde. Others are developing Staph infections and a local nurse disclosed hospitals are taking in patients w/lung issues due to these masks. A Prescott lady who HAD to wear a mask to work in a grocery store developed a skin infection outlining the mask which spread into her cells throughout her body. Politicians are criminal for going along w/this scheme.
Thank you for doing your part. It sickens me to see kids in masks.
I yravel extensively and have been in CO Ut NV CA and AZ. Hate to break it to you but the country is lost. People are freaking stupid steeple that are following along to get along
Me? Haven’t worn a mask since day 1. I shop online or do the pickup. When I have to go in to a store and am told I need a mask I simply respond “no I don’t and carry along with my shopping” everything the other person shrugs and helps or in some cases pulls theirs off.
Stop wearing masks. This is the flu with a great branding team courtesy of the CCP.
Tucker Carlson tonite had on Dave-something from Barstool Sports
Said he was tested recently and found out he’d had it
Awhile back he shared a 5-bedroom house on Long Island or somewhere with friends or his broadcast team or something
Said he felt worn-down a day or 3, that was about it.
Others said same, they were all younger, he’s early 40s he said
So for healthy, strong people, not so much a big deal
‘Great branding team’ like you said
Portnoy, I dhink – Dave Portnoy
People with the immune systems of youth are not the best indicators of the covid disease, it turns out. I am 72, have not worn a mask throughout, and have therefore been in both the most vulnerable group and the most vulnerable to casual infection. I learned many years ago how to stiffen up my immune system against any such infection; I used to get a cold or flu routinely, every yerar to year and a half, until I learned the key for me (mass dosing with echinacea with goldenseal). Since, I don’t even think about the cold/flu “season” — and certainly not yearly exhortations among the sheeo for vaccinations.
This year, being vulnerable as I say, I caught a different kind of bug…twice, once at the end of January (minimal effects, with the echinacea, for a week) and at the end of March (just 2 days, again with dosing). What was different about this bug was the quickness with which it got past my nose and throat and into my body. I jumped on it quickly, and found it as easily conquered as any cold or flu. But I have read any number of reports, of people who DIDN’T jump on it, for days or even weeks, and with serious, even deadly, results.
Everyone should have known early on that the disease was easily beaten, if properly handled (and properly, as I learned from my own experience, means QUICKLY handled, especially for us old folks), because we were informed early that it only killed oldsters and a relative few younger (though not kids!!!) with seriously compromised systems. I still don’t really understand why many “experts” did not bear down on that knowledge, as it ABSOLUTELY denies the disease should be so universally feared as it has been throughout.
In short, even a man in his 40s should not be waiting around for “3 days” to treat this disease. What has been missing in all of this was really good information for people to know how to back up their immune systems, and quickly, at the first sign of a covid19 attack. I just happened to have learned that on my own, many years ago. But for 98% or more of the population, even that wasn’t necessary, because they are just too healthy to be seriously bothered, period. The political and/or fearful lockdowns have prevented the mass of people from learning about the disease and their own bodies. It has been a nightmare, and like any actual nightmare, it has been a fearful lie. (I had nightmares as a child; I took them seriously, and I learned how to kill the monster in dreams, and have ever after HATED “nightmare” movies — with helpless people doomed to die — as contributing to the delinquency of a sound mind in a sound body.)
…darn ol’ typos…
thx for that testimonial, harry
I’ll be checking out that echinacea on the pharmacy shelf, I’d heard people mention it before but never heard a strong testimonial like yours
Chester Co PA here. It is still unbelievable. The sheeple are wearing masks everywhere, in stores and outside. I don’t wear them except when on medical appointments where they make me. Usually I am the only one in stores without them. Most places have the mask nazis: it seems to be getting worse. If they try to nab me I just say I don’t wear them and keep on going in, I haven’t had much trouble. Checkout people don’t say anything to me but the other day I was in a store and a checkout person was very rude and harassing.
I don’t know too much about the restaurants because I seldom eat out. I procrastinate on going to stores because I hate being made to feel like a third rate citizen.
My family drive me crazy. They are still falling for the fraud, wearing their masks and avoiding a lot of people. My daughter was unhappy that I attended a baby shower the other day and told me I should get tested. I should have asked for what, pregnancy? (I’m 75).
All our schools are opening virtual per edict of our county board of health, after all of our schools had made plans to open as hybrid, going some days and virtual some. Stupid. They need to all open up fully just like the day they were all shut down.
I’m hearing a lot of people say they are sick of all this but are the ones who continue to comply to the tyranny. Enough already!!!!
“I should have asked for what, pregnancy? (I’m 75)”
Line of the day!
My neighbor is 95 and goes where she dam well pleases.
Drives her kids crazy.
Virginia Beach, VA. I gave up on paying attention to the China Virus anymore. I don’t feel like I find credible information anywhere.
When I am at work, people are masked… Which they should largely be if we want to stay open after shutting down for 3 months, but they’re hard to understand and I find them annoying.
I’ve worn a mask riddled with hole punches a few times (required), but generally don’t bother. It isn’t always well received, but it’s a good Democrap identifier.
A BLM leader was arrested over the weekend at the Oceanfront. He probably was given some cash and a hotel room, but I don’t care enough to find out more. News of the “peaceful protests” here have been obsolete so I don’t even bother with local news.
Goofy mask requirements are in place if you want to dine-in… Wear it to your table; then you’re ok. If you dine outside, put a mask on to enter the building to use the restroom with the unmasked diners already seated, because… I don’t know why.
You’re welcome here (my house, specifically), if you’re looking! It’s just ridiculous in Virginia!
(I’m overly crabby about the China Virus… I feel like, “Why are we still talking about it like it’s a death sentence?”)
Ad rem, Sundance, et al:
I’m under fire, literally. Been dealing with local Police all evening.
Scary for me. You know where I am, but won’t divulge it here. Prayers welcome, just do it.
Praying. God is with you and in CONTROL!
About to go to bed, you and yours will be in my prayers.
Thank you. You can’t even imagine my life right now. Prayers so appreciated.
Prayers going out for you and your loved ones Peoria. Will relay this to SD and the other admins.
No loved ones…just me in this. Spent the majority of the day in Urgent Care problems, just to come home to this.
Can barely move, but my local Police are wonderful and doing the best they can. I made a extra call at the private ph# to express my gratitude for their service, and especially on Labor Day.
You are such a courageous person Peoria. We pray for your health and safety.
PJ, you are NOT alone, even if you feel that way. Number 1: God is always with you. If you need human back-up, I am with YOU! You can have ANY of my information. You have loved ones who care!
I’m fortunate to have been blessed with an earthly mother and father who were wonderful.
In the afterlife, the Mother and Father will reign supreme. 🙂
Many Blessings! I am your sister in Christ, and so happy that you were blessed with amazing parents.
Praying for you..that it will be resolved in the way you want it.
Thanks, G-ma. If it gets resolved in “the way I want it”…it will be resolved in the way that is fair, just, and equitable. We shall see…and at this point, I will check back in.
Thank you ALL for the prayers. For now, it has quieted. Maybe I can rest my issues and get some sleep.
It’s not just me, though I desire your personal prayers. This problem is bigger. Prayer for my bigger community (largely conservative) is needed.
We have much more to do, but we can always fit in some prayer! 😉
I read your comments all the time although I don’t know that I’ve ever responded.
Prayers are the easiest thing in the world.
By Father’s Grace, May you rest blessed in His arms and protected in His Love. In His name. Amen ❤️
Not sure I’ve ever responded to yours either, but have noticed and appreciated your posts. So thank you for this acknowledgement. And, of course for the prayers. Back atcha!
Peoria Jones,
The thread has gotten so long, that I am only catching these posts now.
You are in my prayers PJ, and I hope you got some rest last night.
Please keep us all posted.
All my best,
Simple Citizen
Praying for you and your community, Peoria Jones!
These face burka “police” are so clueless. They do not realize that the face covering means for them to keep silent, lol!
Praying for you, Peoria, that God will protect you and give you favor with those around you.
“I should have asked for what, pregnancy? (I’m 75)”

FWIW
“Hub City”, West Texas. Lowes & Home Depot – 99% compliance. RoadHouse – Wait outside until table is ready, mask required. Petsmart- mask required. Went to a birthday party last night, no one wore a mask, about 30 people, all are very MAGA. Included recent arrivals from CA.
On my morning walks, I am noticing more and more Trump signs and flags.(So awesome, had to throw that in)
Had my annual physical last week, wore mask as requested, temp taken prior to being seen, had to fill out the usual form asking about previous 14 days/travel/exposure to anyone Wuhan positive, blah, blah, blah. Once inside the exam room, mask off, nurse taking my blood sample was not wearing a mask, said she thought it was BS. Three of her relatives had tested positive, minor fever lasted 24 hours, that was it. She told me 99% of patients are on the Trump train! Doc is pro-HCQ
My Bride is in Spokane on assignment until January. She reports it is about the same.
God Bless and protect this Treehouse.
Amen. And God bless and protect our friend, Peoria Jones.
i don’t like to give out my exact location…northeastern seaboard, the city is a ghost town, the surrounding countryside is carrying on just fine without it. Masks required for grocery stores and Walmart that’s about it. Bars open you have to wear a mask when you come in and when you get up to go to the bathroom.
At my 90 year old Mom’s place yesterday watching the ballgame. Temperature outside is 104 degrees and the power goes out because in Commyfornia you can’t get a new electric power plant built.
Drove my Mom to my house to keep her cool.
California can spend a billion dollars to build a bullet train from Bakersfield to Merced, but we can’t keep the power on and we don’t have enough water for the farmers. Heaven forbid trying to build a new reservoir.
You need a mask to go into any store. Restaurants open for outside dining, but not much business when its 104 degrees. Inside is limited to 25%. Churches still very limited. Beaches are open.
Traffic is about 50% of normal.
NE Tacoma, WA. We are under mask mandate, but you can only tell if you go inside a business. They are open, but no church or school. People out doing their normal thing. Yes, there are some who think that they are a danger to themselves alone in their car.
We walk our neighborhood every night. People are maskless, happy, and not jumping to the other side of the street when they notice someone.
Although this time has been difficult to stomach with our “Sleepy” Governor, I feel blessed that I have not had to endure the garbage going on in Downtown Seattle, where I normally work.
LA County. The schools are shut down. The only schools that are open are a few private pre-schools. No indoor dining at bars or restaurants. Every parking lot and sidewalk – and even street parking lanes in some areas – are full of tables. I’d say that the outdoor seatingvranges from 15% to 30% of the indoor capacity under normal circumstances. The dine-in restaraunt industry is going to be destroyed. People are wearing masks everywhere, even outside when riding bikes, walking and jogging. It’s been in the 80’s by the beach and in the 100’s inland and everyone of the leftist sheep arewearing masks. In fact, when I hear leftists complain about people not wearing masks, I look around and see everyone wearing one. Outdoor shopping malls are open and so are most, not all, retail stores. Apple still hasn’t opened it’s stores. Driving down Wilshire Blvd heading east from Santa Monica you see dozens and dozens of boarded up stores that are now permanently closed. Westwood (by UCLA) is pretty much a ghost town except for the In and Out drive thru. Newsom and Garcetti are committed to squeezing every ounce of this manufactured crisis into new powers for them. Churches are still closed and abirtion clinics are still open. One of the most despicable things is that the LA Arch Diocese of the Catholic Church is totally on board with the shut down. There is nothing to fight for.
State legislator Kiley is suing Newsom for his overstepping his powers and ignoring the US Constitution as well as that of the state. I wrote at geater length about his in a comment above yours. Hope that makes you feel a wee bit better. The economic impact is going to be horrendous for Californians. Everywhere, so many [places re shut down, except the big big established entities like WalMart etc.
In my town (central California) people are sick of shutdowns, masks and democrats. Never see anyone really get at one another. I guess they just share the misery together in respectful silence. I haven’t talked to anyone who does not know the real reason we are all having to go through all this and it is Politics.
I’m in NorCal.. Great Niece went to the emergency room with a burst appendance… Scary stuff… her Parents couldn’t go in with her and waited hours in the parking lot…. Guess what… She tested positive for covid… No symptoms whatsoever… Thank goodness she will be fine but I personally would question the covid diagnosis
healthy people and young people get it and don’t even know – the most minor of symptoms
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2020/09/07/rebel-alliance-ground-reports-whats-your-current-covid-status-2/comment-page-5/#comment-8736996
I bet if everyone was tested for the common cold or flu virus, about 90% (at least) of the people in this country would “test positive”. So all these freaks on TV going on and on about how many “positives” we’ve had with COVID are spewing garbage that means almost nothing. What they SHOULD be talking about is how miniscule the ratio of positive-to-illness is. For most age groups, the chances of being infected with COVID and dying from it is less than 100,000 to 1. And that’s people who ARE INFECTED.
Only other time I’ve posted on a website was back in the summer when I saw Sundance ask for updates on how people were faring in their respective parts of the country. Saw his ask and figured the least I could do for all the information I’ve received here is to post again.
I live with my wife and three children in a beach town in So. Cal. I inherited my childhood home and we are surrounded by liberals. My 17 year old son wears his Trump-MAGA hat proudly and has said that he is getting less dirty looks than usual and actually getting some thumbs up as he walks up the street to go surf. Our city requires masks to walk to the beach and around town. I’m having none of it. My family goes to the beach daily and we’ve had no trouble. We literally walk by the police station and city hall to get to the beach and nobody has said anything. I’ve talked to the lifeguards about the mask stuff. My favorite response from one was, “I’m here to watch the water, not masks. You do what you’re gonna do.”
My wife and I go on at least one walk a day and usually do it twice. No masks. Most of the other folks we see are not wearing masks either. We do encounter some that have masks on and we simply walk by. Haven’t had any confrontations or problems. With the heat wave there have been lots of people at the beach. Most are wearing masks to the sand, but then they come off and everyone has a good time like they used to. The key is the kids. Kids don’t know how to stand 6 feet apart. Most people, except the lost causes, are not going to light up a kid for sharing their beach toys with another kid. Once the kids are playing, conversations among the adults start up, and everything proceeds like normal.
We took the family out for my daughter’s birthday last Friday to a favorite Mexican place, The Riviera, in Redondo Beach and the place was packed. No indoor seating allowed, but the converted the parking lot to add to their outdoor patio. Its funny to see people line up to get in with a mask on, but the moment the get seated the masks come off. Where we sat was less than 6 feet from where people were waiting for a table. People have just not thought this through.
Anyway, don’t want to bore everyone. Life here, for us, is pretty normal. Politically speaking, I would have expected a ton of Biden signs. Haven’t seen any “official” campaign signs, but have seen 3 homemade ones in people’s windows. No Trump signs anywhere around here (I can’t have a molotov tossed through my front window), but lots of “talk” among friends and people who are like minded. Had a plumber out to the house a week ago and got to chatting. He said something, I picked up on it and hinted a little, and within moments we were talking about the coming Trump landslide. Lots and lots of that going on here.
Don’t give up on all of us here in California. We are definitely in occupied territory, but there are LOTS of us on board the Trump train.
Trump wins California with the legal vote. Can pretty much tell the democrat mask wearers by their eyes. If their eyes has that dead, gloom look they are most likely democrats.
I do at times ask a democrat; “Do you know it is like to live under communism”? They will always say no. Then I ask, “Why do you find it so necessary to find out”?
The lack of oxygen from wearing masks, tends to glaze the eyes!
Happy to hear your report. We are from Redondo / Torrance (now in CO). Our families are still there and we have postponed visiting due to this craziness. We usually stay in hotels because we no longer fit in my in-laws wee house. Our parents our older and it has been hard to not make the trip.
Hey SandDollar,
I hope you get a chance to make the trip out sometime soon. Being from here, you know the deal. The politicians and news say one thing, the reality on the ground is different. My family will be at 14th St. lifeguard tower in Manhattan Beach surfing and keeping an eye out for ya!
Nigella, you’ve reminded me of a slogan from the late 60s: “Question authority.”
Manhattan. In my little corner of the city (East Village), street dining is hopping, but alas, many small businesses continue to close permanently, the latest being our favorite neighborhood restaurant (which didn’t have street dining).
Everyone continues to wear a mask. It’s like a mark of pride and fashion. “I”m SO hip!” /s
There are several city housing projects where I go for my walks. Ominously, today – for the first time since Covid started – there was a distinctly aggressive vibe in those areas. I haven’t had that feeling since the 1980s…. (pre-Giuliani)
I don’t see how the city is going to come back anytime soon, if ever. Asking price for an empty store at my corner, formerly a coffee shop, is currently $20,000/month. Insanity. The city is going to see a huge real estate adjustment downward.
DeBlasio may as well enshrine “Après moi, le déluge,” now as his motto.
Ev222- your post brings back a lot of memories for me as I remember what it was like in the East Village back in the Bad Ole Days.
I don’t believe NYC is coming back this time. The liberal Commie voters are just too stupid and self destructive. They will never elect another Rudy.
ev222 and Seneca the Elder,
Yes, I am from the area as well and was there during the bad old days as well (left a bit after 9/11). It is beginning to seem like the 1970s all over again and the city will eventually be headed for a Chapter 11 at a minimum. Certainly, the current “fearless leader” will pull a Beame and ask for handouts.
Although Wall Street might float for a bit, it will become a museum. The big houses (think banks and traders) have all gone to Greenwich, Princeton and other parts of the surroundings. Eventually, no one will even care to see the trading floors or the bell in the future (CBOT and the CME will follow suit since Chicago is in a similar situation).
Also I know of two places where I think you could be walking, and I understand the level of tension you have described. Many of those apartments are occupied and grandfathered through families that have lived in the city for decades. My guess is that they are none too happy about the current state of the world.
Also, I would guess is that many of the small cafes, that do not have the space for outdoor seating, will fold. My heart goes out to you and NYC as a whole.
Best,
Simple Citizen
One could presume that is the intention, so that increased foreign investment can sweep in and reinforce the Marxist doctrine imported from ME and China. Simply recall the influx of ME influence upon much of NYC in the post 9/11 period.
(just one random example… link)
Or Minneapolis is coming to Manhattan and there will be crossings of the protected groups in Brooklyn and Queens (the ones the FBI and cops will not even go near), for new acquisitions, along with Sharia. Lest we forget that the “fearless mayor” does not pay too much attention as to where his own funding is coming from (details are for little people in his mind, also he is always too high to count the money).
If the prices plummet, then the Saudis can fund (by proxy) new Mosque construction. This would be considered the “greatest accomplishment of modern Islam” if they were able to pull it off.
Now if I am even vaguely correct, then you know that some of the alphabet agencies are turning a “blind eye” at the minimum.
I’m in the San Fernando valley, Woodland Hills. Masks to get in anywhere. Can shop retail, groceries, restaurants, salons, Med Spas. Seen lots of Trump gear around the hood lately- that’s a new, positive development.
Same here in Miami . Seeing a lot more pro Trump signs , but in the wealthy areas lots of Biden ones . Useful idiots . Anyway that mask situation is still going on as our RINO mayor is just hopeless . Still doing good with the police for now . Rumour has it that Bovo won’t beat the Dem candidate for Miami mayor . That’s going to be terrible . Better start planning for plan B if you live down here .
Of course here in NY we remain at 50% capacity for businesses. We have a mask mandate in place. They have state police stopping out of state plates, to check to see if they quarantined, also have checkpoints at our borders. Gyms just reopened however at very limited capacity and mask at ALL times. Canadian border remains closed.
South central MA; masks required by governor’s edict in stores. Most people put them on when walking in and take them off immediately when exiting. Limited indoor dining; restaurants with the room in this suburban/rural area put up large tents, which made the day for tent-rental people because they lost all the rentals for weddings, parties, and fairs. Very few people drive with masks on. One senior group has their morning coffee outside Dunkin’ (used to be inside) – they bring their own chairs and sit close together under a nearby tree every day it doesn’t rain and they don’t wear masks. Traffic is moderate, and picking up slowly. Everyone is bored with the whole thing. Not much political signage this year, but Trump is seen way more than Biden here. Dem-rats chose Markey over a Kennedy in the Senate primary just to show you how low this state has sunk.
Southeast Alabama here and I believe the governor has a mask order. She keeps extending it, of course. I have been to Publix, Walmart, pet store and local vet. I have not wore a mask since this crap started. I sure don’t plan to start anytime soon lol.
I’ve mostly been avoiding going out because it’s not enjoyable anymore, it sucks. I haven’t been to Sams club, don’t know if I could get in without a mask. I will not comply. I like my oxygen. And I don’t like anything touching my face.
The virus is real, I think I had it back in February. I’m one of those people who just doesn’t get sick. Never had the flu and never had a flu shot. I coughed for a week and had painful body aches. No fever or sick to my stomach feeling. Then I felt fine, or so I thought. I got a really bad head cold that lasted two days.
So yeah, I believe the virus was out there. But now, as summer is coming to a close? I just feel like this is all political now. And it’s interfering with our pursuit of happiness! I can’t believe people would be willing to wear masks the rest of their lives?!
Oh, and since the governors mask order went into effect, I see way more people masked than not.
I just wish people would stand up for their right to choose. And I’ve encountered no Karen’s, no complaints for no mask. All is peaceful here.
North Texas.. it’s been a wild ride. I make Costco run every 12-17 days.. Hubby does wallyworld weekly. Everything is well stocked.. We have a nice garden that feeds us well.. Masks are required everywhere, we get out as little as possible these days.. gas is running 1.90 to 1.97.. we are back to “rush hour” traffic hassles twice a day. Long lines for inside banking and pharmacy drive thru is a nightmare.. Most all mom and pop eateries are gone, done, closed forever..my donut shop is still open they want you to call your dozen donuts in and they will have them ready for pickup.. They allow one person at a time in the store and no kids please..
There was a “walk away” rally Saturday that got a little stupid that won a few people stupid prizes.. A friend of ours went said it was great.. We could not go due to upcoming travel plans..
We have a new grand baby we haven’t seen. She is her mommas’ first so there are viewing rules that must be followed.. That’s a story for another time.. I feel like she will be walking and talking before we can make the trek across the country to see her..
I’ve seen a few nuts driving around with masks on, there are no political signs out in my area for any race.. Dr office has been doing COVID antibody testing since early August.. Dr says it’s been very reliable/helpful for him to weed out truth from fiction..
Central Valley, CA – we are still considered a hotspot but CA’s number-keeping system has been so screwed up from the beginning, I doubt it’s correct.
I think the only number we can count on is the number of people who have died, which is 296 out of $1m people.
Churches, gym, bars and indoor dining are still closed. Virtual school only. And we remain under a mask mandate.
Two family members, under age 30 who live in southern CA, tested positive but recovered. And a friend’s husband died after testing positive but had several co-morbidities.
I wore a mask once – way back in March well before the mandates or we knew what the hell was going on with the virus. By the end of the month I had figured out it was a scam/moral panic. Other than that one time, I have not worn a mask and only once has anyone even mentioned it – a clerk at a store, as my purchase was almost complete. She handed me a mask, I accepted it but didn’t put it on, and that was that. Pretty sure she was just CYA for corporate policy and didn’t really care either. Upstate SC.
Arkansas here. Our ‘Republican’ governor basically said we will be wearing masks until there is a vaccine. It’s ridiculous. At least he let the schools start back and people who wear masks can enjoy indoor dining. Still can’t put on a mask and visit/care for a loved one in the hospital. My 66 year old neighbor recently died from a heart condition. Her death might have been averted but she put off going to the hospital for a couple of weeks because of the visitor policies. When it got too serious her husband dropped her off at the hospital and two days later she was gone. Who know what really happened. It is so frustrating how people just shrug their shoulders about the unintended consequences.
We live on Lake Eufaula in SE Oklahoma.
Saturday we had a boat float for Mr. President; flags and Trump 2020 signs were everywhere the eye turned. Attendance was over 2,500 by registrations w/ thousands more lining highways, roads, and pullouts.
We love us Some President Trump.
Most businesses in my area have muzzle signs on the entrances. Some enforce the mandates other do not. Since we do not submit to the muzzling, we frequent those businesses that leave their customers alone. We have not encounter any Kens or Karens.
There was a boat parade near us on Sunday. We did not get to see the parade but we went to the after party. It was fantastic and encouraging. Fantastic because we were surrounded by fellow patriots. Encouraging because of all the new faces there. The silent majority is out there.
Family members living in NY and NJ are still living in fear and diktats.
South Jersey a different planet than North Jersey / NY

Thousands attend Jersey Shore boat parade to support cops, President Trump

Beaufort County South Carolina requires everybody to mask-up. There are lighted signs along the main roads that say mask-up. Masks are required inside stores and restaurants. The local slim paper, The Island Packet and The Beaufort Gazette is lamenting the fact that fewer people are having covid tests. There is lots of advertising for covid testing.
Many people are sick and tired of the mask mandates. There are still some nervous nellies scared silly. You know if it is ok for Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi to go to a beauty salon without a mask why isn’t that ok for us.
There are multiple stories in the local paper that there is a need for poll workers. IMO this is an effort to promote vote by mail.
A large tech company is canceling their new lease on a substantial portion of a new high-rise in San Francisco.
The cost to back out? $86 Million.
California hasn’t been as nimble as Florida, which reportedly took advantage of the shutdown and lack of traffic to fast track high way projects. No CA highway work for months, and now just minor projects. Missed opportunity.
Unreported Newsom Backfire (literally). Gov Newsom released thousands of prisoners early. Unfortunately, a law enforcement officer I know said it just so happens the Gov inadvertently released about 80% of the prisoners who are trained to fight fires. And they do one of the tougher jobs, frontline shovel work.
FedEx – printing down; shipping up. Newly expanded hours.
Chic-f-let (sp?) and In and Out going gangbusters.
Tip – no one is talking about – these “forbearance” agreements on mortgages and car notes – for up to 6 months – have to be paid in full. Some consumers may not understand that, or won’t be able to make the payments. Two friends in banking say they’re estimating
the potential fallout.
Newsom is a disaster.
https://recallgavin2020.com/petition/
P.S. In a small (40,000?) upper middle class burg, ONE Biden sign I can recall. Zero Trump.
“no one is talking about – these “forbearance” agreements on mortgages and car notes – for up to 6 months – have to be paid in full.”
So are you saying there’ll be a wave of car repossessions and home foreclosures when owners can’t pay?
Central IL here, so there’s a Pritzker-shaped blimp hovering over us. There are still a bunch of “mandates” in place, but even here in my fairly liberal city, more and more people are getting sick of it. As I’ve mentioned, my wife and I don’t play the mask game…. we’ve worn them ONE time, when she had to go to the doctor. And there for awhile it seemed like we were nearly the only ones refusing. But things seem to be changing. Before, when we’d try to just walk right into a store or restaurant we’d get looks, if not outright told we couldn’t come in. But now we get barely a glance, and quite a few others are starting to do the same.
I’m thinking that MAYBE people like my wife and me, and the few others who’ve been fighting this from the start, are starting to have an impact. It’s well-known that there are psychological barriers to refusing to “go along to get along”… but once a few people stick their necks out, a few more decide to try it themselves, and then a few more, until… So yeah, it seems to be moving that direction here.
If anyone objects, just tell them you’re on your way to have your hair blown out
Or hitting the only open (government run) gym in town!
USVI here …. 17 covid deaths since February, average age in the 80s… we were on our way to ‘the New Normal’ (God I hate that phrase) when a seniors facility was ‘decimated’ with the deaths of 4 people at 101, 92, 88, and 86 years old. Back to complete lockdown…. the black dem gov lives for his weekly presser as he randomly makes up new EO’s seemingly off the cuff… he and the black dem legislature have granted themselves unlimited power and we will probably be in a ‘state of emergency’ forever if they can pull it off…. no bars, no hotels, they have effectively destroyed the tourism economy which is the life blood of these islands…. masks aren’t required outside yet, but the beaches have specific hours they are open, and masks are needed to go into any establishment… no haircuts allowed, etc etc…. It’s looking like South Dakota is going to be the last bastion of American freedom, but I enjoy the weather too much here 🙂 anyway, like Sundance says, keep your chin up, smile, make eye contact and be the positivity this world desperately needs right now… and vote like your freedom depends on it… (we don’t get to vote for Pres here, so if someone wants to vote twice for me, that would be great 😉 JK
Hi Everyone, this is my first time ever posting.I hail from Stillwater, MN. We are now on day 107+days shutdown with our power mad Govenor Walz. There is a petition circulating to recall him and I have seen some yard signs to that effect but month after month little seems to change. Republicans hold only the MN Senate. They have been reluctant to stand up to Gov. Walz because they do not have the House and the House keeps extending the Governor’s emergency powers. The way MN law is written they have little recourse.
Masks are Walz required every where here even though it’s against MN statute. I’d say about 98% wear them. Yes,I have seen people wearing a mask jogging uphill in 90 degree weather and sitting alone in their cars. I wear a face shield and pretty much get dirty looks or stared at. People are so frightened because they’ve been lied to. People who were once MN nice won’t even talk to each other any more.
Even golf courses were shut down and the campgrounds. So many businesses are failing here because of Governor Walz lock down. Most restaurants are still drive through with a few open with very limited seating with masks and social distancing. Many businesses never reopened. Some restaurants tried to stay afloat by creating outdoor seating because they had no drive through capabilities. Gyms are trying to reopen but people are frightened. Much of outstate MN economy is tourism driven. I don’t know how they will recover from this.
The Chinese virus death numbers are going down but all we hear is how many new cases they have and how horrible it is. If that wasn’t enough all the protesting, riots ,violence in Minneapolis has caused irreparable damage to our state. Every time there’s even a rumor of racial injustice it’s like a powder keg here ready to go off. We heard that most of the rioters were from out of state.
Churches just started to reopen with masks, social distancing and reduced capacities but a lot of people are just worshipping with their Church online. Churches were told not to sing because it could spread the virus but BLM and other organizations could gather and shout their messages day after day.
On a personal note we lost my Mother in-law in a nursing home after 8 months of not being able to see her. We could not see her in person not even when she was on hospice. Even after she died they would not let us have just a half hour to say good bye as a family in her room without saying that only two could be in there. There were Five of us.
On the positive side I have seen Trump signs popping up and in outstate MN too. I havent seen any Biden signs. However, there have been some Black Lives matter signs popping up in our City and there have been a couple of BLM demonstrations. We had aTrump floatilla of 500+,some say up too 900 watercraft last weekend that went up the St.Croix River through Stillwater. Many people are praying here and it seems like the political winds are shifting. We have hope. I hope
I live in Portland….sigh….
Masks required at stores. A self-proclaimed Antifa woman is running for mayor. At least they haven’t come for my neighborhood….yet.
Windy here tonight and lots of haze from fires in the air – my dog is restless.
Is this the gal? Sara something or other… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBImGRR-ABo
What lunatic. The darting eyes are weird. Short of critical thinking and full of hate, she just oozes it in that interview. She projects it like a pro and plays the victim too. Sick. I like Watters, always looks like he’s about to burst out laughing.
Yes, that’s her. She looks like she’s been eating lemons. No joy, no happiness. I bet she doesn’t have a boyfriend.
southern NH…no state mask requirement. 11 cities/towns have their own mandate. enforcement is spotty, but I avoid those towns and I hear what businesses are open in those towns they’re barely hanging on. other places are doing better, but still no indoor dining unless you mask going to and from your table or talk to your server, which creates the ridiculous situation where the sever will stand there with her back to you until every person at the table has a mask on, turn, ask how you meal is going, and walk away. because the act of saying “it’s fine” creates more of a hazard than normal conversation while she’s walking by. or something.
reopenNH is doing a good job. went to a protest about the proposed mask mandate in manchester on tuesday. 7 out of 12 of the city council are anti-mask, so the democrat mayor will not get what she wants. they postponed the vote because the pro-mask were afraid to come out of the building and face us after voting for it.
Karen Testerman is the anti-mask candidate who is primarying john sununu. the man is good on guns but little else.
Lakes region here. Our town asks that people wear masks because we get so many people from out of state hot spots! Several Karens on the FB page trying to make others feel badly about their personal choices to go without. But push back is steady.
Most restaurants open with plenty of outdoor seating (we are on the big lake, after all),
But I must take task with your support for Testerman. Seems all she wants to do is remove all the COVID restrictions without understanding that there are so many law suits waiting to happen if she does that and even ONE person gets sick.
Sununu didn’t drink the mask cool aid or shut the schools, so he gets my vote.
My in-Laws live in NH. Near Sunapee. I love NH. Such a beautiful place. Last time we were there we spent a day at Lake Winnipesaukee. Hubby’s high school buddy’s family owns a restaurant near the lake. We usually spend Thanksgiving with my mother-in-law. Not sure we are going to get there this year.
Sundance, mid-NH is fine. Low Covid numbers in most of Carroll County and north country; requests to wear masks in most stores, but they don’t say anything if you don’t wear one. Restaurants open full (with distancing between tables). Sununu has played this one right!
Warhorse, I have to agree with Alison; Gov. Sununu has done A LOT. He alone stopped income tax, additional spending, more liberal bills than one can count. If you go to the state govt. site and look at all the bills the liberal State Legislature passed that then had to be vetoed by Sununu, I think you will change your mind about him. He has been strong and stellar in his performance.
I disagree on sununu…the bathroom bill, letting men who happen to “identify” as women that particular day into women’s bathrooms is not a good idea. it happened to my girlfriend in a Hannafords grocery store, now she is scared to death to shop there.
he refuses to enforce the residency law about college students voting here…sununu has been asked about it multiple times, and he says each time he won’t enforce it. which means we’ll lose by margins again this time.
https://granitegrok.com/blog/2016/11/trump-actually-won-new-hampshire
2,573 votes. do you think we have that many out of state college students voting this time around? how much does that effect all the local races?
not enforcing state rule has allowed this patchwork that changes seemingly from day to day. I drive up 495 and don’t know if I’m going to get a ticket for getting out of my car with a stupid facediaper from one town to the next.
I’m in North Idaho – Coeur D’Alene.
Masks are “required” in most stores. But I walk on thru without, along with ~25% of my fellow constitution-loving compatriots (I’m assuming). I’m a bit disappointed there are not more of us rejecting this nonsense, particularly in this state.
On the upside, I haven’t ever seen anyone disparaged or shouted down for not being muzzled.
For me, it’s not just a refusal, but a “peaceful protest”, hoping it quietly inspires others – especially walking into a store despite the verbal and written “warning” that a mask is required.
Reject this nonsense thru both action and your wallet!
Forgot to mention, but a few days ago a neighbor had a medical/mental issue that required the cops getting involved. Three cars, an ambulance, and a firetruck hung around for about an hour. A couple times some of them came over and talked to me, 3 or 4 cops at a time. Of course I didn’t have a mask on, but what was great was that none of the cops did either. And we weren’t anywhere near 6′ apart. And remember this is Illinois where Pritzker (and many mayors) think of themselves as dictators.
Studio City, California. Part of The City of the Angels. Funny thing: I have lived here 46 years now and I have never met an Angel. Not once. Ever.
Covid Report: No one I interact with on a daily basis is panicked about the Covid. None of them ever were panicked. This is probably due to the type of people I would choose to be around. I smoke cigars with a fine group of gentlemen. Many times there are 20 or more of us, not social distancing, together for half the day. None of us wear masks when around each other. This is from the beginning of this thing. We frequently remark that through all of this none of us has gotten sick. If this was a serious concern it would seem that somebody would have gotten sick. I have told the boys, “Breathe deep. You’re gonna get it. And you have a 99.9% chance of not even knowing you have it.” So far, so good!
Mask Report: Most everyone here wears masks religiously. And The Religion part is key. Virtue signaling rampant. It was 111 degrees in downtown and 121 degrees in Woodland Hills yesterday. They still wore their masks. My wife and I do not wear masks outside ever. We never have. We do mask at the last second entering a grocery store or other retail. We do this to avoid unnecessary conflict with the mask bigots. It IS fun the last three feet to the door. The Mask Cult panics!
I take a vigorous walk each day in the neighborhood South of Ventura Boulevard at 4PM. No mask. Under the mask orders in LA I am exempt from mask use. I am “Hiking”. Urban Hiking. So far no one has dared challenge me. Some glare the “Glare of Shame”. No use. I’m SHAMELESS!
CHARLOTTE, NC, SITREP: Scrolled down the comments a bit, didn’t see many entries from east of the Mississippi, east coast in general, so here goes:
NC in general has been spared most of the China Virus craziness but, sadly, we have a Dumbocrat Governor (Roy Cooper) who is the walking embodiment of the old screen goof Joe E. Brown, but FAR less lovable, who blew the RNC out of Charlotte, and has levied mandatory masks and restrictions statewide without much evidence to support it. Schools are due to reopen but folks are totally confused as to what to do, how and why and generally, WTF.
Wearing masks in public outside in CLT is near zip 10-20% wearing them outside, but stores are mandated to insist, so inside stores masks are up to 90% or 100% They come off pretty quick outside. If I see idiots wearing them in cars I just laugh. Charlotte is still the south, though, so tolerance is pretty high and folks are amiable – it’s the transplants from NYC and elsewhere (CLT is a huge banking center) who are crazy-compliant.
Charlotte is, of course, a Blue dot on the Red map of NC, just like Raleigh and Winston-Salem, or anywhere there’s colleges or government. In the near city suburbs BLM yard signs are in abundance, as if the signs will ward off rioters and virtue signal for the occupants – I find it disgusting.
This week off to Ft. Bragg, will see first hand how the state is complying. MAGAA all the way.
West Virginia Commissar Dem/Repub/tyrant Governor King James Justice (what irony) still has his mask mandate with no penalty in place. Most Sheeple buy the nonsense and comply. I have not, will not and have not had tell off any Karen’s yet. I carry a tape measure with me and if anybody says.anything, I will pull out 6 feet and tell them to “stay back”
King James has instituted a stupid hot zone County color coded map to designate “breakouts” and in class school openings or closings. He is catching hell from a lot of citizens. Many small freedom “prepper” groups forming in counties all over Southern WV, Eastern Ky and VA counties close to WV. Also keeping in contact with each other.
Except for the mask and map BS, all is still normal., Remember BLM/Antifa punks. In WV the “hills have eyes”, lots of abandon mines, labor war history and feud tradition. Lots of constitutional oathkeepers around also. Montaini Semper LIberi
Metrowest MA here. Under mask mandate. Have to wear one all day at work unless we’re “dining”. Lots of snacking going on. Have had complaints at work about people not wearing their masks when they should, causing others to not want to enter rooms after them, so we’ve got plenty of Karens here.
No one really wears them outside, just a few nuts. But we do have to wear them at stores. Irritating as a hell, but I’ve gotta get groceries.
Can’t visit a doctor without one. If you have a loved one go to the hospital, you can only visit at very limited hours with mask. No more sitting in waiting rooms. You wait outside in your car.
I even had to wear a mask to get my hair done. Got dye all over it. Silly.
Most irritating, I see a number of BLM signs outside people’s homes on my drive to work. These idiots don’t really know what they’re supporting, just virtue signaling. Occasionally, I have to drive through mostly white fools in rich areas protesting about it.
Traffic still down. I heard we had the highest unemployment in the nation? I’d believe it from the traffic. Maybe everyone is working from home. I know I do as much as possible so I don’t have to wear the stupid mask.
Went to Trump rally in NH. Much freer there. They came on the speaker and said everyone had to wear a mask and were roundly ignored.

▶Ducey Doubles Down, Issues Extension Of COVID-19 Surveillance Executive Order | Arizona Daily Independent ~ 9/8/20 ~https://arizonadailyindependent.com/ducey-doubles-down-issues-extension-of-covid-19-surveillance-executive-order/
We live in Northern Alabama. If you can avoid the “big cities” there has been virtually no change to our daily lifestyle since this crap started. Other than restaurant closures and no barber shops/beauty salon visits all was pretty normal. This past weekend we had some business in Huntsville/Madison County. You would have thought we were in California. And by the way we saw a huge number of BLM signs and Biden signs. Huntsville like so many other places in the South has been invaded by Yankees and foreigners that vote. I’m glad that it’s on the other side of the mountain.
I live in Little Rock AR and masks are mandated. I have lost my job due to my refusal to wear a mask. I can not shop in most stores and labeled a nut for my beliefs. Sadly I am surrounded by military bases and worked with a large amount of veterans which surprised me when the mandate went into effect and Everyone said the same….. I don’t like it but I have to have a job! It is very disheartening to see how far we have fallen. My entire family has fought for this nation only to see this evil. Is it not extortion for states to demand businesses to follow unconstitutional laws or be closed? Americans do not even realize they are selling their souls for a bowl of soup!
Sorry to hear that you lost your job :(. What is left of the Republic is in the balance between now and Trump’s inauguration. Still he might just be a cork in the bottom of a barrel.
Please do not despair! I think you are very brave. Take the job issue to Almighty God and He will work it out. I venture to say that if you leave the greater Little Rock area, that there are mom and pop feed stores, independent grocers and produce stands that do not require face burkas and would love having you trade with them. Granted that the smaller stores may be more expensive compared to big box stores. Yet, the freedom to not have to cover your face is worth it to me at least. The huge store chains would like nothing better than to see small businesses dry up.
Lawrence KS, liberal mecca of KS. Masks required to enter any business. Noticed something on Saturday, went to Walmart and since this has been going on, they have closed all entrances but one and they move all people in and out of that entrance. There has always been a person or people set up to count those going into or out of the store for social distancing reasons. On Saturday, they had a person there waving to people as they entered but not counting them. Better be opening up the other entrances soon. I wonder if other people notice this or have they gotten used to it and it is now “NORMAL”?
It is why I stopped shopping at my local Walmart. Isnt it a fire hazard? If not one would think it is a safety hazard. It is creepy what is going on.
Iowa, masks in some stores required but Walmart said they can’t make anyone wear them. Mostly not many masks around. Just attended a convention on a private property (4 days) and saw maybe 10 masks out of 500 people. State was never shut down. Death rate for Iowa is 1/990 people or .0010%. Many people say this is (bull s…) and all political. Very few signs, I have a Trump but have seen maybe 4 Biden signs.
Dimms never consider the the untended consequences.
They cut off the stands of sports including auto racing.
But they drove many to outdoor pursuits camping hiking RVing fishing and here comes hunting season.
Dove, other birds, then squirrel and rabbit, then deer camp.
People get together for a weekend and talk.
Then the word spreads.
Word gets out around the “social” media.
People get together in places the limbs dont think of going.
