Red States, Blue States, Red Regions and Blue Regions present an incredible disparity within our republic; I’m curious what is the current status of the COVID lifestyle near you. What is going on in/around your town, city, region or hamlet?
Having traveled extensively during this COVID crisis it is quite amazing the scale of difference between cities and states. The media has been reporting in large generic terms, but the stuff that matters is how it impacts your life; your daily function. That’s what we are all interested in.
Right now those who wish to “fundamentally change” our nation are waging a full frontal assault against our constitutional republic. The bombardment seems overwhelming.
It is remarkable how different life amid COVID is within each state, even when two states are right next to each other; and often even between two cities within the same state.
…So how is it your area?
In order to support the most important political objectives of the DNC writ large in the 2020 election, COVID-19 hype is essential:
♦Without COVID-19 panic Democrats cannot easily achieve ‘mail-in’ voting; which they desperately need in key battleground states in order to control the outcome.
♦Without COVID-19 panic Democrats cannot shut down rallies and political campaigning efforts of President Trump; which they desperately need to do in key battleground states.
♦Without COVID-19 panic Democrats cannot block the campaign contrast between an energetic President Trump and a physically tenuous, mentally compromised, challenger.
♦Without COVID-19 panic Democrats do not have a mechanism to keep voters isolated from each-other; limiting communication and national debate adverse to their interests. COVID-19 panic pushes the national conversation into the digital space where Big Tech controls every element of the conversation.
♦Without COVID-19 panic Democrats cannot keep their Blue state economies easily shut-down and continue to block U.S. economic growth. All thriving economies are against the political interests of Democrats.
♦Without COVID-19 panic Democrats cannot easily keep club candidate Joe Biden heavily controlled and sealed inside the bubble; where the electorate is not exposed to visible signs of his dementia.
♦Without COVID-19 panic it becomes more difficult for Big Tech to censor voices that would outline the fraud and scheme. With COVID-19 panic they have a better method and an excuse.
♦Without COVID-19 panic Democrats cannot advance, influence, or organize their preferred presidential debate format, a ‘virtual presidential debate’ series.
♦Without COVID-19 panic the economy would rebound quickly and people would go back to work. This is against the interests of Democrats.
All of these, and more, strategic outcomes are based on the manufactured weaponization of the COVID-19 virus to achieve a larger political objective. There is ZERO benefit to anyone other than Democrats for the overwhelming hype surrounding COVID-19.
It is not coincidental that all corporate media are all-in to facilitate the demanded fear that Democrats need in order to achieve their objectives. Thus there is an alignment of all big government institutions and multinationals to support the same.
Nothing is coincidental.
Everything is political.
Every second that you live your life with thankfulness for the abundance within it; every moment that we CHOOSE to engage with fellowship; every day that we accept guidance from God – however you define him to be; and every moment we cherish this time to be a beacon of optimism; is a moment that we withstand that barrage and hold the flag in place. It is a genuinely patriotic position not to succumb to the attack.
We must withstand this onslaught and rally to the origin of our true national spirit. We must rally to a standard of Americanism and accept this is not that. In essence, we must individually take a stand. Purposefully, deliberately and with forethought, we must engage those around us to get rid of this sense of foreboding.
This approach is how we win the larger battle.
All around us, in every tribe and region, there are people who need you to show them the strength that you have. Strength of spirit. Strength of fellowship that you will not relent from expressing. No matter what noise is shouting from the loudspeakers we must withstand it; we must make eye contact and remain joyful. We cannot allow despair to be the status quo.
Our MAGA message is optimistic; and we must fight against any tendency to allow the leftist hatred and scheme against our American value system to impact delivery of that message… #Trump2020

Western NC…more people are starting to see this whole thing as a political scam. Clerk at Lowe’s wants to move to Sweden. Employee in Target saying “virus” in air quotes…other places employees joking about how they will die without a mask. These are all people in their 20’s starting to get sick of the idiocy.
People in liberal cities wearing masks everywhere…but I can go into grocery stores and other stores without a mask and not be hassled. Actually, I am saving more money because I hate being around all of those masked faces so don’t shop as much…just food and necessities.
Kids are doing virtual school and very unhappy…ditto parents. In my county school board meeting this week to reconsider at least partially re-opening schools.
Small businesses devastated over all…governor is listed as friendly to China..everyone wearing masks made in China…they know how to make a buck. Governor must hate bars…still closed and going under.
Much better in South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
Drove by Sunset Beach, Bolsa Chica, Huntington Beach yesterday, crazy hot, had to laugh about the Beach Wars of May…parking lots, sidewalks, and beaches are PACKED, hardly any masks…dont know about L.A County, and dont care
San Diego County has 3.3 million people. Since mid-March, 40K have tested positive and 700 have died. The vast majority of the severely ill cases were Mexicans with co-morbidities such as obesity, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes – all of which are endemic among them. But try saying that out loud and you might get lynched by a mob of extremely caring progressives!
All the healthy gringos with fully functioning immune systems are wearing masks in public ALL the time. I was riding my bike this morning, and a jogger coming the other way jumped into the bushes and pulled up his T-shirt when he saw that I wasn’t wearing a mask! I don’t know whether to laugh or cry about it. People here have truly lost their minds.
Why is propaganda so much more successful when it stirs up hatred than when it tries to stir up friendly feeling?
Bertrand Russell
Should have stopped to chat for a while…
You need to cough when going by. Make his efforts seem worthwhile…….it’s the least you can do.
?
I guess my courage failed me.
I SO wanted to wear a jock strap, as intended, but outside my pants.
“Haven’t you HEARD? They just figured out, its NOT transmitted by coughing,…
Its a,SEXUALLY transmitted disease!”
But, I haven’t. 20 miles north of town in northern Az. I have seen masks on lone drivers in cars.
Stores sometimes have mask nazis half-heartedly enforcing at entrance, but once inside pull it down or off and no one says anything. Thats in town, out of town not any enforcement of Gov Ducey CCP edicts.
Most think its a joke, a few scared into compliance. All shortages seem resolved.
So stocked up we are only buying perishables this month. Milk and bread, mainly.
Dutchman, I’ve been mask free for going on two months now. When questioned, I reply “medical” and that does it. This goes for the big box stores as well as the grocer stores . . . none have dared to challenge this little froggie . . .
two small retail shops have brought my items out to the car rather than allow the exception.
Used it, and for me its valid.
“Its right there in my parole papers! Wear a mask, into a business, they send me back, and I AIN’T GOING BACK!”
Said with urgency and sincerity, it works, too. 🙂
In a 2A sanctuary county, so the State is already on notice, that we take Doozey Ducey, our Rino Gov. edicts, more as,…suggestions.
Wearing a mask while driving solo is like putting on a condom and going to bed alone.
The jock strap as a mask might be fun. Woman’s panties even better. The mask Nazis would go mad.
dutchman
WTH
is that a joke or are they now saying that for real.?
If they are it is because they do NOT want people to MAKE LOVE , MAKE LOVE , MAKE LOVE , MAKE LOVE
these demons are sooooo transparent. Get thee behind me SATAN ! ass***loes !!!
Thanks for all you say,
I was JOKING!
;Hi dearest Dutchman
I know that you know that they feel that LOVE is their poison. And that it truly is their cryptonite. The power of LOVE is the power of Almighty GOD ! It would be no wonder that they would now go against LOVE to the youths ( youtts ).
LOVE is the most powerful force in the Universe. LOVE comes from our beloved Eternal Father GOD who flung the stars into being as well as everything else. If they ever would let their demonic possessed followers know that the power of LOVE is the answer, then they would all be undone.
I pray for our youth. But anymore, I pray for the sheep that know the voice of their Shepherd. I don’t know what will happen to the goats, but if they’re hell bent on being goats, so be it !. I think that at this time, Jesus is saying to us that either you’re with me or without me. Like in the movie with Tom Cruse, ” Night and Day” You’re either WITH ME OR WITHOUT ME ! That is it !
Yes, I think any who believe in God, can not help but see how this, ultimately is a battle between God and Satan, playing out in the earthly realm.
And ultimately, LOVE is the answer,..
I did a search on YouTube
Dr Fauci had been VERY busy last few days-weeks.
Seminars, interviews, webinars, @ academics, non-profit, networks
there are others lectures that do not showed on the search results because his name is not on the title but it shows on the YT right panel
I wonder……..

Logan, UT – Schools are open and I hear there is HS football. No Football at the University. Seeing more products in the stores. Masks are encouraged in stores and Churches. While masks are the rule in town it is not enforced. No riots. I don’t eat in restaurants I only do drive thru. Understand there is limited seating. I am on Jury Duty but no Jury Trails. I have always felt that people are wearing masks around here because they are available and the courteous thing to do.
Christian County, Missouri. No masks required except at Walmart and Walgreens. Some stores have signs that ask for masks to be worn but not required. My city of Ozark had a vote on an ordinance to mandate masks. It was defeated. The mask wearing is being pushed by county health departments, not city leaders here. I would say about 40% of the people voluntarily wear them, but they don’t say anything to the people that are not. The local mom and pop restaurants are open with 100% of tables being used, but still for some reason won’t put salt and pepper shakers on the tables. The fast food and corporate restaurants are still at 50% inside seating except for Mickey D’s and KFC which still are drive through only.
Schools are open with 5 day in schools classes, but masks are required for the older students. Gyms are all open as all of service businesses.
We have had about 150 positive cases and 3 deaths, but as all across the country, those numbers are highly suspect. I still don’t know one person whose has tested positive.
My husband and his pop were driving in the arid backcountry of Grand County (think of the arches and spires and buttes of Moab).
No one for miles.
Then a car appears on the horizon.
Nears.
Passes.
Two occupants, both wearing masks.
Bet the license plates were either the California’s County of San Francisco or Utah’s Salt Lake County.
Plenty of mask nonsense here in MA. The best is when someone is driving in their car by themself with a mask on!!!
Just like wearing a prophylactic when you go to bed alone………………..
The power of the talisman. Like fat people who buy exercise equipment and put it under the bed.
The Nordic Trac was a good place to hang your jacket…FYI.
Just returned from a week at the Cape. Masks, indoor/outdoor, with some stores requiring gloves. Lines outside stores as customers waited to enter (except large box stores/supermarkets).
People riding bikes are masked. Everyone was compliant.
We avoided any place that had a line outside, or where you needed gloves.
One positive…..in a sea of Biden signs, we spotted a pickup truck flying huge Trump and American flags crossing the Sagamore Bridge.
Santa Barbara. Masks everywhere, on everyone- even just to get their mail or drive from Point A to Point B.
I’ve tnoroughly enjoyed these past months quarantining at home with my bestest friend. For real. Things have been A-OK for us.
We don’t venture beyond our neighborhood that much. We used to live downtown but never go there now. There’s a pedestrian promenade with outdoor dining but it’s no big whoop. The vibe is off. And, the homeless are there doing what they do.
I love living in Santa Barbara. When things get hairy, I just dig in my heels and push back. I won’t leave this place or forsake this state.
Good for you. The Marxists just follow if we leave. We fight for our homes. Antifa can have American land. Seven feet by three feet by six feet deep-each.
As a prior SB resident dating back to when the 101 had traffic signals, I am sure the bulk of those residents would gladly have a mask surgically installed. The flower children moved in back in the 70s and the colleges churn our progs like candy. The presence of Oprah just echoes the proggy nonsense of the town.
It just sucks because that has to be the most beautiful city in the west. It’s worth waiting out the moonbats though, right?
What’s Your Current COVID Status?…Im surrounded by libtards. Imagine what that looks like and thats my status.
40 miles out of the MPLS epicenter of all things FUBAR… Almost zero cases, however one close to home; My 20 yr old daughters friend has immune deficiency issues and has the Chinese pox. Slight head cold issues and after two days is fine. Strap on the steak feed bag and all is good.
May God bless you fine Americans!!
Danial28, Chinese pox is a good one! Here are some others I’ve “caught” from around the web: Beijing Bug, Chop Fluey, Chi-Com Lung AIDS, Democrat-Wet-Dream-Flu, General Tso’s Sicken, Kung Flu, Kung Fu Grippe, Oriental Lung AIDs, Oriental Distress, Peking Pox Pandemic, Peking Pulmonary Pox, Sino Sinus Syphilis, Sino-Lung-Rot, Shanghai shivers, Wuhan Flu, Xi’s Disease, Xi Pooh Flu
Great list.
What about Wu-Flu.?
Great! Add and keep the list going!
Bradenton Beach,fl. Island as crowded as I have ever seen. Most stores still require masks. Restaurants not so much. Can’t eat with a mask on. Beaches no masks. Did see a woman in the water with no one around her with a mask on. Gun stores busy, as of 2 weeks ago good inventory still available. Personally don’t know of anyone who has gotten covid. Prayers to all and try to stay positive
Northern part of Kentucky. Governor’s mask order expired yesterday. Will see tomorrow if he extends it another month. I have yet to wear a mask and have only been questioned twice. Never been refused service. Hubby and I have been out and about with no problems.
Private schools open with students in masks. Public schools online. Local university mix of online and in-person classes. Total # of CoVid deaths around 950.
Pa.
Pa.
SE VA. My mask reads ” I HATE wearing this”. No Karens. Lots of “love your mask”. Eat out st least once a week. Restaurants as busy as all ki wed to be with social distancing. Sense oeople are dick of the constant hair on fire fear mongering. Am old so in high risk category but am not willing to stop living for fear that I might die.
NE Ohio. Recently attended a wedding. Guess of more than 100 people in attendance old and young alike. Very few face masks and nothing was said either way about them.
I don’t wear a mask at all and I go wherever I want. I was kicked out of 5 Guys awhile back. I went back the other day without a mask and placed my order they guy told me I had to wait outside then A downpour came and he said nevermind and he let me wait in the store.
I go to this specialty liquor store where they have this a great selection of German beers. I have been going there for a few years as a regular customer. Never once did I wear a mask. Well the other day I went and this Karen at the counter all dolled up like a mummy kicked me out. Said I had to wear a mask. So I left. I won’t be spending money there anymore.
Nothing but doom and gloom from the MSM so I have pretty much stopped watching all television. This is a good thing.
On the positives there is now a group that has filed a lawsuit against Tyrant DeWine because of Covid fraud. This is what this is by the way the biggest fraud ever committed. Knowing that they can’t turn back now and they have to keep the pedal to the floor. How can they explain that they made a mistake this far into it.
My son who is 19 tells me that all his friends are disgusted by what’s going on both with the rioters and what they are doing and the Covid scam. These are young kids who normally wouldn’t be political well they are all getting red pilled. So these are good things.
Due to the Dempanic, Leesburg, VA’s Ladies Board cancelled its enormous rummage sale, which has been held for 82 years! Last year raised $140K+ in Inova nurse scholarships. This year, nada for the students.
“DEMPANIC” = + 100%
They say they hate inequality.. And at the same time do their Best to add to it!
In the gulag known as NYS in the western part of said state, we are experiencing a little uptick in positive cases. This is not sitting well with wannabe king Andy. He keeps lecturing us and telling us he is “watching” us. We are at 1.9% positive tests today. Whoohoo.
Meanwhile, here on the ground, people enjoyed their weekend, many get togethers, masks are being worn at stores etc. but not so much elsewhere. People are eating in restaurants and out doing all kinds of social things. More and more people I have talked to are finally starting to question the covid and mask issues and becoming more skeptical than I’ve heard before. Patience with this virus is wearing thin I think.
Parents are preparing for the start of school tomorrow which is kind of all over the place as far as remote, hybrid or in classroom educating. Many public school teachers are not happy about going back because their unions are not happy. It’s kind of a mess so it should be interesting to see what happens. The supervisor of the largest suburban school district here has been suspended by the school board because he couldn’t figure out how to open his schools. Unreal.
Otherwise, life rolls on and people make the best of it all.
cjzak ,
Please be very careful of Baby Doc Cuomo; if you upset him then he might dispatch Fredo for intimidation. Don Mario was never afraid to send enforcers if he thought you were talking back. = )
Best,
Simple Citizen
I always say that if a teacher is uncomfortable about going to school then they can voluntarily quit and the position will be filled. When challenged, use the European studies and examples where they are all in person school. Then call them superstitious science deniers.
It’s all about the teacher’s unions here. The teachers in the city school district did not want to be told they had to report in school 2 days a week. The word mandatory tripped up their teacher’s union president. Mind you, this is with NO students in their classrooms, only the teachers. Students are still on remote learning. They can’t go into their classrooms, teach remotely from there, all alone, because it’s not safe. So they say or should I say the union Pres. says. Ridiculous to take this kind of stand and it’s the kids who are losing out, many who are poor minorities. The teacher’s are getting paid still.
Pa here, Gov Wolf kill 5,000 in nursing facilities, and his sidekick Levine too his/her mother and put her in a nice hotel, we opened in stages, the lower burbs opened in June, stores at 50%, restaurants were 50%, knocked down to 25% because 1 restaurant got a complaint, no bars can open unless they have dining services, no restaurant can have bar seating, Philly will open dine in on friday, the mayor was dining in in Md, masks are mandated for businesses, masks to enter a restaurant, take off when seated, back on when you leave, then the commissar just extended the emergency order until JANUARY. Our commissar governor is out campaigning for Biden, but won’t meet with the Harrisburg Assenbly, Soros owns the Pa supreme court, the DA and every elected dem.
South central PA about 12 miles north of Hershey, semi-rural area. People wear masks in stores just to protect business owners from being screwed over by the big bad Wolf. Otherwise it is a joke. Nobody wears masks when outside in their neighborhoods or talking with friends. This is MAGA country; Trump yard signs outnumber Biden by at least 30 to 1. People wearing masks while driving alone in their cars are at risk for being flipped off by the cruder elements here. I wouldn’t do it, but I’m not turning away allies either.
Great job, Linda. I was getting my thoughts together for a PA report. You did it better.
I will add: the supermarkets, liquor stores (state owned system), and big box stores all have signs posted inside their entrances that “face coverings” are mandated for everyone by the PA Dept. of Health. This is how Gov Wolf has tried to deflect criticism away from himself. Designated employees will stop you just inside the entrance if you’re missing a mask over your kisser. Last week, during a polite but firm exchange with the Mask Captain of my local liquor store, I told him that his inventory is a product that is optional for us, and that he lost a sale. Buh-bye.
Most people seem oblivious to the political currency of being forced to keep their faces covered in public. The effect on shoppers inside the supermarket is awful – it is eerily quiet. They proceed without complaint, like good lemmings heading over the cliff in droves.
I’ve mentioned here previously that our Harrisburg region late afternoon talk radio program host is Ken Matthews, one of Rush’s program subs. Last week a local resident called in to Ken’s show with news that our Governor is legally bound to give public notice at least 20 days before Nov. 3 if he’s going to close the polling places and force everyone into Mail-in-Ballots or Absentee Ballots. No Cinderella midnight escape for him. That being said, I fully expect him to spring his own version of an October surprise.
The most recent attempt by the General Assembly failed to override the Gov.’s veto of their legislation to end the State of Emergency. The R’s hold majorities in both Chambers, but not large enough to override vetoes without significant D’s to vote with them.
PENNSYLVANIA HELD HOSTAGE: DAY #184. As Linda mentioned above, Wolf extended the Dec. of Emergency for another 90 days. At present, everyone is consumed with the varied circumstances of re-opening our schools. I wonder how many have looked ahead through 90 days on the calendar to figure out their holiday family plans.
The Pennsylvania Governor has effectively cancelled Thanksgiving and Christmas family gatherings, particularly for families whose out of state relatives travel here for those occasions.
SE TN. Local mask mandate ended today. Most people weren’t wearing anyways, particularly the last couple weeks. Kids have had no problem at school, our church is meeting again in person, and we attended a fairly good size dinner/party today. Overall sentiment is it’s time to return to normal.
Our mask mandate was set to expire at midnight tonight but has been extended for 30 days by Health Commissioner. Go to Lowes, everyone in mask. Go to Lowes in next county over, no one is in a mask. I’m seriously fed up with it. Most church ministries have stopped – like our outreach tutor ministry to elementary students with English as Second Language. You can’t see people’s faces, hug them, greet them normally.
Central FL. School was open for a week, then my granddaughter’s middle school had 12 staff test positive, so school is online for 2 weeks. We’re starting week two of online. Students have to be online for the regular school day, attendance is checked, and there is zoom-type face-to-face instruction most of the time. WuFlu testing was offered the day after school closure, but we’d rather not be inoculated, thank you.
When school was in person, students had to wear masks at all times, even outside, and stay 6 feet apart. Not cool when you’re starting a new school. Singing in chorus was limited to 30 minutes, followed by 20 minutes of no singing to let the WuFlu particles settle to the ground (not kidding). I’m glad no one was exposed during the 30 minutes of singing. ?
One of the charter schools has moved to online only until further notice. Supposedly 6 schools in the county have cases, though only 2 have closed so far.
I’ll be shocked if my granddaughter’s school reopens in a week. If they do reopen, I expect it will be on again, off again throughout the year until they finally move to online only. Five janitors tested positive at one school, and one died. That school remains open, near as I can tell.
So far, the cases seem to be mainly among the staff. With school only open a week, it appears they were probably infected before school started. The school district posts statistics weekly, so will be watching that.
Masks have been mandatory in our county since April. Back then they tried to institute a $250 fine for non-compliance, but that was dropped after pushback on the constitutional grounds. In July, they added penalties of warning first time, $25 second time, and $50 third time. I guess the constitutional issues evaporated.
The same day the county implemented the fines, I spoke to a city worker who had had direct exposure at work to a confirmed case. He works out in the field. The city did not quarantine him or suggest testing. He says his department is short-staffed, so he can’t be off work. Thank you county government for keeping us safe with your silly mask fines, and thank you city government for not quarantining your exposed city workers. ?
Walmart continues to close at 8:30 pm so we can mitigate the spread by compressing more people into an enclosed area in a shorter time span. Thanks for keeping us safe. ?
Our county has 11,542 cases with 133 deaths.
I’m ready for the aliens. It’s about all that’s left.
The Wuflu choir rules has me in stitches ? this is great stuff- letting the particles fall for 20 minutes!
Really loved your post- really good chuckle amongst the frustration- thank you for that! Must be awesome at your house for Thanksgiving ?
In Pa all schools are virtual, but sports are allowed in some high schools, 250 outside gatherings, Insane.
Not all schools. Our school is split onsite 2 days for M T then nobody Wednesday and the other students Thursday and Friday.
This is Lancaster county.
The thing you have to understand is this thing is not contingent on data or even facts. There is a technological agenda that has been preplanned which has nothing to do with current reality. See it in those terms …..
The elites don’t like people. Not sure who appointed them and why they think they are in charge. But Jesus came to deliver and destroy. He’s ultimately in charge.
In a small town 90 miles southwest of St. Louis in the Ozarks things are pretty much the same as this time last year. Some people wear masks at Walmart some don’t. The sign says it’s required but no one stops people from entering without a mask. That’s the only place I have seen people with mask. I wear my Trump 2020 mask when I go to Walmart and get a lot of thumbs up and winks. I have only seen Trump signs in yards so far.
Chelan County, WA – center of the state, apple capitol of the world!
1,768 confirmed cases (15,740 tested)
73 hospitalized, 12 deaths
For these numbers we are in a modified stage 1a re-opening, which is the least open in the state. A number of counties are at stage 2 or 3. None are at stage 4, which is the stated goal…and the governor has extended a mask order and limitations “indefinitely”.
In WA State a total of 77,545 confirmed cases: 40% are 20-39 years old; 29% are 40-59.
And in the State there have been 1,953 deaths: 38% are 60-79 years old; 51% are 80 or older.
https://www.doh.wa.gov/Emergencies/COVID19/DataDashboard
Have any media reported if the migrant farm workers are bringing covid to your county? Doubtful if reported but a possibility that is happening.
I did find this in an Aug. 30 article in The Wenatchee World:
Since the pandemic began, one in five people who have tested positive in Chelan and Douglas counties works in agriculture, according to health district data. 94.6% of those diagnosed workers are Hispanic.
The numbers don’t mean anything. Jefferson County has had ZERO deaths from COVID-19. ZERO! We have contact tracing and a volunteer informant squad. The county public health dictator claims not much will change until there is a safe and effective vaccine. He denies there are any cures. He doesn’t appear to have much knowledge of epidemiology, immunology or basic physiology. Dictatorships are terrifying.
Northeast PA…masks to go to your table in restaurants, for shopping etc. but most people in my neck of the woods, Wayne County, think it’s all total bullshit.
Wayne County;. God’s country. You are populated by real Americans.
SW Utah here. I haven’t bothered to keep up on our covid stats here — they were always low. The county commissioners just unanimously voted to request the RINO, mask-loving Governor to go to green status this week. Up north in liberal Salt Lake it is much more restrictive than here (always had much higher case/death rates). On Saturday there was a big rally at the state capitol in Salt Lake on removing the mask mandate on schools throughout the state and there was a new lawsuit filed against the governor.
In the SW, most local, non-chain restaurants open with no mask requirements (haven’t eaten at a chain restaurant for ages so don’t know about them). I actually am enjoying the six-foot distancing between tables with less ambient noise which makes for a better dining experience. Would say 70% of these restaurants customers do not wear a mask. More and more stores which required masks are not hassling you if you do not wear one. The only exception is a yuppie grocery store where my Liberty Coalition buddies and I protested at a couple weeks ago over their policy of calling the police on bare facers like me. We also protested at the county school admin building (in the hundreds!).
Newport Beach, CA including Crystal Cove Beach State Park to the south and Laguna Beach, all as crowded as I have ever seen them. People out and about some with masks others carrying them but not wearing. Lots of people dining outside restaurants. Trump boat parade apparently in the harbor Sunday, not sure #s but likely well attended.
GA here. If it weren’t for the mask requirements in stores (and the media harping on CASES), I’d forget there was a pandemic where I am. I go into stores without a mask even though they are “required” and no one ever says anything to me. There are a few others but mostly people comply with this rule when it’s literally 90+ degrees every day. The sweat factor alone is enough to make the mask useless to me. All I do is wipe sweat from my face. I think it’s abusive to require masks 6 months after the “pandemic” started.
Restaurants are busy, the malls are busy, people are out shopping and buying from what I can tell. I’m seeing organized football being played at the parks on Saturday afternoon with lots of people attending. Some kids are back in school but lots of people have chosen to home school due to the way the whole thing has been handled and the disruption in children’s lives. I’m still seeing a lot of elderly walking in the park with masks which can’t be healthy. There’s an older gentleman I see often and when he passes by me he steps off the paved path about 10 feet to avoid me, I guess?
I still think they are doing quite a bit of testing in GA. I know they even opened a testing place at Hartsfield Jackson Airport.
Traffic has picked up considerably so people must be going back into the offices to work again. I still know no one who has had coronavirus after all this time.
In far North of Dallas, going to stores without a mask. The majority of people are obedient and will wear one. So far, I have only been challenged when entering Sam’s Club. The person, at the door asks if I need a mask. I just say thanks and keep on walking. No one chases me down to stop me. I’ve not been challenged anywhere else. It’s rare to see anyone else disobeying the edict.
It’s pretty depressing to see my fellow citizens oppressed with something they obviously do not want to wear. Many have them pulled down below their nose, some down on their chin.
Other than all of this, everything is going on pretty normal.
Franklin TN (20 miles south of Nashville). — Our County removed the mandatory mask req Sep 1, and immediately my local Publix grocery store went from mandatory face diapers to “recommended”. They also removed the one way aisle markers. However, the local Home Depot is still requiring them as company policy.
Nashville itself is still in virtual lockdown. Run by Dems, of course. When the NFL season starts this week, the Titans can’t have any fans thru Sep. Neither can Vanderbilt. All local high schools have been playing football now for 3 weeks…..except the Nashville schools. And attendance is open, but restricted to 30% capacity.
Dining in restaurants except in Nashville is easy….we’ve yet to be turned away for no space.
Finally…the local Nashville news media is very leftist and is still treating COVID like it was the Black Plague ?
Howdy L4. Another Williamson County resident here. 😉
Spokane, WA here….most sheeple wearing masks and somehow believe they will live forever. Went for a drive to Coeur D’Alene Idaho this afternoon and was greeted with a nice pro Trump rally on Sherman Ave across from the Resort. Most were not wearing masks. Going to east Texas next month to look for a new home.
Augusta GA area. Light pandemic spread. No one much cares. Been a good summer.
North of Nashville, TN. Our county nazi extended the masks until the end of the month. At the grocery today more folks not wearing them or half-assed complying. I sense people are over it. Our schools began all grades in person this week. Churches still not very well attended but more members willing to “take their chances”. Nashville nazi mayor declared no school sports and parents are very pissed. This weekend saw several young people driving with Trump flags and signs up and down the Main Street. Made me happy.
Northern Minnesota. Not many wearing masks. Stores not being enforcers. Tourist Karen’s and Ken’s are confused.
Jacksonville, Fl. here. Grandchildren have returned to in school learning. All must wear masks (I bought gaiters for them) except during lunch and recess. All desks have plexiglass surrounding them, to cut down “on the spread”.
Mask mandates are in effect for indoor shopping, Walmart has staff at the entry doors to assure customers are wearing them. Most restaurants have indoor dining, but at 50% levels and of course masks are needed. Pick up seems to be more prevalent. Convenience stores are iffy, some require masks, others do not. I carry a mask in my purse and only take it out if I have to and never cover my nose. When I am through at the check out line, I remove it and walk out of the store. Lots of people walking around the parking lots or waiting for the buses in 90+ degree weather with masks on. Sheer stupidity. I’ve even seen people with masks on IN the pool or even in the water at the beach.
I will be thrilled when this crap is over.
It’ll be over November 4th.
I don’t think it will be over in early November. I think we’ve got this shoved down our throats until the EC votes in December.
If we are able to defeat the Establishment’s election theft ops, they will attempt to keep things locked down to whittle down the number of visitors for the Inauguration – complete with social distancing.
IF this plays out, it will be interesting to see if all the pussy-hats arrive to take over D.C. in droves to protest in close quarter formation again.
to protest….. on January 21st.
East Boston, MA here:
Everyone wears masks inside stores, restaurants, etc.
On the street, it seems 50/50 wearing masks.
Schools are offering remote learning for the first few weeks of school, then implementing a phased in approach for each grade to hybrid (two days a week). Families can opt for full remote if they wish, or full attendance for high needs.
We chose hybrid. Then, I see on the news that DPH wants to make flu shots mandatory for All children returning to school and many are protesting it. So, should they insist it is mandatory, we will switch to full remote. I am not against vaccines, if they work, but I am not injecting my children with guesswork, which the flu vaccine is. I told the principal as much, but have yet to receive a reply.
A lot of my patients (elderly) are tired and worn out from being cooped up.
It’s a congested area where I live and about 7 of the consecutive towns have “high numbers.” My employer has set up free covid testing sites in partnership with DPH to help service those areas.
My employer has requested ALL staff (its a lot of people) to be retested this week and to speak with management about any objections to doing so. I have had covid and don’t want a repeat test up my nose… And part of me fears it coming back positive… But I feel fine, so my fear is probably residual damage from this psyop.
A lot of restaurants are closing, but some are making it work, now with a focus on investment to keep sidewalk dining open through the winter: setting up heaters, etc.
Black/Hispanic leaders are calling out local gov for their muted response to a Caribbean shindig held near Franklin Park: 100s, maybe 1000s having a street party, full on with alcohol, weed, and dancing without “proper attire.” Why didn’t the cops do anything, they ask. The governor had a great response to that – along the lines of LE having to gently enter said party and persuade the party to end peacefully and “… maybe that took longer…” ??
The affronted community leaders are also wondering why the gov/mayor had strong rebukes towards large groups of people in Chatham and other places… Well, duh, community leaders, it’s because those groups were largely white. That double edged sword is poking them in the rear – whites are privileged and must be called out; yet, calling out all the other colors is racist. What’s a rino governor and dem mayor to do??? Lol
That’s all I got.
Boston here, too.
Hospital #s remain low: Mass General: 23, Beth Israel-Deaconess: 8, the Brigham: 11.
Quiet for this time of year, usually streets clogged with college kids , U-Hauls.
Hearing a lot of complaints about flu vax requirement for school kids. Mandatory ANYTHING seems to be the wrong approach, here in the USA.
Hey there,
I don’t like it – mandatory vaccines in this fake news climate. The problem is that I do not trust that they are working in good faith. Its selfish on their part, “we don’t want to deal with flu and covid,” ??
They’re saying – get this – the coronavirus could “mate” with the influenza virus in a human patient. Then something REALLY novel, infectious, and SUPER-lethal could emerge…
Houston Texas. Life is essentially back to normal but with masks. No one likes it but no one wants to be an ass to retail help. Patience still there but not for much longer.
CT shoreline last week-no beach walking allowed [germs Atlantic Ocean];, no parking on state beaches. Restaurants outside service only. Central CT- College town: Supermarkets require masks, occupancy controls, PA systems announcing social distancing requirements like Running Man [Cadre Cola!].. Pedestrians wearing masks; people wearing masks in cars. Sheep dip everywhere. Dumb a**es all around. New Mayor [20+ y/o] wearing a mask in his car! I can’t stand going out. I feel like a member of the underground.
One other thing of note in GA. I see so many TRUMP signs that I’m actually amazed. They are everywhere. Back in 2016 I saw one. I’m seeing Trump signs and American flags. When my heart is heavy over 2020 in general, seeing them lifts me up.
Before too long, the president should start mentioning that deaths are falling. People need to understand that we’re 2/3 done with COVID, which will make Biden/Harris’ obsession with it seem passé and stupid. Who would vote for more lockdowns?
Didn’t it start to sharply go down around the first of July? I’m wondering why he hasn’t mentioned it weeks before (unless I missed something). What I did hear was touting all the (damn!) testing.
He should also cease and desist the vaccine promotion. I can’t imagine that he’s going to receive it himself. Stop it already!
Central KY…King Andy is still at it. Bigger cities, from what I hear, are all in. Bowling Green is probably half and half. Rural areas have more common sense people but the majority still believe the news and Andy. However, was in Meijer last week and saw more men without a mask than previous weeks; didn’t see any women without a mask but have seen groups of women talking and they had pulled their masks down to do so. In our church only a few people wear them but we’re not the norm. At WKU they have started cancelling some of the “hybrid” classes and going all virtual. Also know some local teachers. Most are against being in school and don’t want to be back in and are pushing and complaining. And last but not least, our Amish friends think the English are all nuts. Maybe we should just go Amish.
frog010, the Amish simply trust God, not Government, to guide their lives. You need not ‘go’ Amish to learn from them. Some people still utilize common sense.
SOS down here in Bayou country.. Bar owners are enraged they’re being put out of business by our (D) Gov’s arbitrary continued closure edict, while restaurants serving alcohol are allowed 50% indoor occupancy and grocery stores selling hootch are all wide open!
I hear His Illustriousness will speak to us peasants today – to extend that shite, no doubt…
Southeast Georgia here. I feel like things are almost back to normal, so to speak. Our only two grocery stores (Walmart is one) require masks. Our restaurants are completely dine in now. Our schools started back two weeks ago in person. If your child has issues, we have virtual learning. Our high school football starts this Friday with a shorter schedule. Our nursing homes are still restricted, of course. But, one home has set up a glass partition room outside so residents can feel better about their families’ visitation. Overall, our town doesn’t seem as panicked as before. And of course we have Georgia football to look forward to. Go Dawgs!
First, thank you for this thread Sundance; much appreciated to read how the nation is living in this time.
Second (and humbly), I am just going to add that this whole situation not only supports the Democratic party in our own nation, but globalists around the world. The economic reset will be discussed, planned and begun (although much that has already been done for decades now) outside of United States borders. The second shoe to drop will originate, much like the first, in foreign nations and will then be introduced on our shores. So while it is true that the Democratic party is the bully in our own neighborhoods there are other bullies, across the borders, that are also planning to cause various forms of harm (political, economic, and the like). This just hit me as I read the thread and I thought it could be a supportive addition to the topic.
Now to the thread specifics:
What I can provide is a Southern Maryland, NW District of Columbia and Northern Virginia perspective.
From the standpoint of masks the most restrictive area is the District of Columbia. Mayor Muriel Bowser keeps issuing more edicts and modifying her positions on restrictions. There is limited indoor dining at restaurants. A mask must be worn in all communications with a waiter or waitress (sever sounds too much like servant to me, so I do not use the word), but may be removed while eating or drinking.
Standing outside, on a sidewalk in the sun, now requires a mask unless you are engaging in exercise of some sort. Most people are wearing masks, with only a few exceptions of outdoor activities such as running, walking or cycling. Even a young lady who often is out sunning in a nearby park wears her mask while doing so. Businesses require masks and seem so afraid of our litigious society (please recall that Ronnie McDonald was sued multiple times because coffee is “hot!”) that they may not let up even if it was declared all over tomorrow (instead of 2025 as the WHO has indicated).
Although I will never DOX anyone, ever (because I do believe people deserve privacy), we know where Dr. Fauci lives and have been in his neighborhood since CRAZY began. As his neighborhood is an older, wealthier area of the District, you tend to have older residents in the houses, which range from one million dollars upwards to twenty million dollars. Those residents are 100% masked, often when simply driving alone in the automobiles. The fear in their eyes and disconnect in their soul is alarming to say the least. Conjob 19 may not be what causes these citizens to have a shorter time on Earth, but the sheer fear of house arrest and a disconnection from the community (as well as reality) could very well be a detriment to their immediate futures.
Most of the signage in the entire NW DC is either for Biden / Harris, BLM, Hate has no place here…, Thank you Dr. Fauci (I think he had these signs made himself and may have even handed them out), and / or RESIST (yes, on the million dollar plus home lawns). As his neighborhood has a lot of private physician’s offices, Conjob 19 testing offers are everywhere.
There are more moving trucks than usual in NW DC, but it is hard to tell if that is just because it is the four year cycles (which is normal) or if people are fleeing. Believe it or not fellow CTH friends, DC is both a very seasonal city (normally everything in the city picks up after today’s holiday) and an extremely transient city. We are no where near NYC or San Francisco levels.
We have been a home school family for a while now, and friends who were in both the private and public school systems, who found us “unique” when we began (we had been patrons of a private school and then changed), are now asking us a lot of questions. The private school friends are very upset that they are paying thirty to forty thousand dollars in tuition for the year and their kids are sitting home on the computer, with very tough restrictions, and no clear plan for a return to their campuses. Our public school friends are infuriated by how bad the District has prepared for the acquiescence of Mayor Bowser to the teacher’s union in keeping the schools closed for the entire year. It is ugly and normally very happy citizens (many who would say they are liberals) are quite upset (especially when they realize the year is just getting under way).
Yet, I do wonder…
You see the District is well advertised to be under siege beginning on September 17, 2020, by the “peaceful protestors”. Thanks to that “cut out”, Mr. Dorsey, we know that this siege is proposed to last at least fifty days. Outsiders are already beginning to flow into areas in and around DC and you can easily tell. Many groups are supposed to converge here and disrupt a whole lot of the city (no, they will not hit any real targets of oppression, but they will make life really dangerous and hard on the average citizen here).
Now as an avid student of history, I can state for a fact that the Irish had the most negative feeling toward the IRA when they blew up a school bus (evidently by accident, but who really knows). Perhaps Mayor Bowser does not want the kids on the streets when the mob begins the work. Certainly, I do not know for sure, but it is possible.
As for Maryland and Virginia, I will use different posts for those areas.
We now need masks in western Oregon. Smoke from unfought out of control cascade fires have literally blocked out the sun in the last hour. The crazed B*tch in our statehouse extended the rona “crisis” to November 4th. Won’t condemn Antifa violence. Needs to be taken out of office. At this point don’t care how it is done. Big pro PDJT car rally in Portland today. Five miles of cars 10K estimated participants. No injuries, looting or destruction.
Hey Pinot,
I’m out in the gorge with the same smoke and same frustrations! Great to hear about the car parade. No TV in our house, so I didn’t know anything about it.
Best, Indi
Greetings Indimex, No Tv in our kingdom either. Oregon Republican League on FB (I know, I know) does a good job of keeping up w/the rebellion against Kate. Hang in there!
