Red States, Blue States, Red Regions and Blue Regions present an incredible disparity within our republic; I’m curious what is the current status of the COVID lifestyle near you. What is going on in/around your town, city, region or hamlet?
Having traveled extensively during this COVID crisis it is quite amazing the scale of difference between cities and states. The media has been reporting in large generic terms, but the stuff that matters is how it impacts your life; your daily function. That’s what we are all interested in.
Right now those who wish to “fundamentally change” our nation are waging a full frontal assault against our constitutional republic. The bombardment seems overwhelming.
It is remarkable how different life amid COVID is within each state, even when two states are right next to each other; and often even between two cities within the same state.
…So how is it your area?
In order to support the most important political objectives of the DNC writ large in the 2020 election, COVID-19 hype is essential:
♦Without COVID-19 panic Democrats cannot easily achieve ‘mail-in’ voting; which they desperately need in key battleground states in order to control the outcome.
♦Without COVID-19 panic Democrats cannot shut down rallies and political campaigning efforts of President Trump; which they desperately need to do in key battleground states.
♦Without COVID-19 panic Democrats cannot block the campaign contrast between an energetic President Trump and a physically tenuous, mentally compromised, challenger.
♦Without COVID-19 panic Democrats do not have a mechanism to keep voters isolated from each-other; limiting communication and national debate adverse to their interests. COVID-19 panic pushes the national conversation into the digital space where Big Tech controls every element of the conversation.
♦Without COVID-19 panic Democrats cannot keep their Blue state economies easily shut-down and continue to block U.S. economic growth. All thriving economies are against the political interests of Democrats.
♦Without COVID-19 panic Democrats cannot easily keep club candidate Joe Biden heavily controlled and sealed inside the bubble; where the electorate is not exposed to visible signs of his dementia.
♦Without COVID-19 panic it becomes more difficult for Big Tech to censor voices that would outline the fraud and scheme. With COVID-19 panic they have a better method and an excuse.
♦Without COVID-19 panic Democrats cannot advance, influence, or organize their preferred presidential debate format, a ‘virtual presidential debate’ series.
♦Without COVID-19 panic the economy would rebound quickly and people would go back to work. This is against the interests of Democrats.
All of these, and more, strategic outcomes are based on the manufactured weaponization of the COVID-19 virus to achieve a larger political objective. There is ZERO benefit to anyone other than Democrats for the overwhelming hype surrounding COVID-19.
It is not coincidental that all corporate media are all-in to facilitate the demanded fear that Democrats need in order to achieve their objectives. Thus there is an alignment of all big government institutions and multinationals to support the same.
Nothing is coincidental.
Everything is political.
Every second that you live your life with thankfulness for the abundance within it; every moment that we CHOOSE to engage with fellowship; every day that we accept guidance from God – however you define him to be; and every moment we cherish this time to be a beacon of optimism; is a moment that we withstand that barrage and hold the flag in place. It is a genuinely patriotic position not to succumb to the attack.
We must withstand this onslaught and rally to the origin of our true national spirit. We must rally to a standard of Americanism and accept this is not that. In essence, we must individually take a stand. Purposefully, deliberately and with forethought, we must engage those around us to get rid of this sense of foreboding.
This approach is how we win the larger battle.
All around us, in every tribe and region, there are people who need you to show them the strength that you have. Strength of spirit. Strength of fellowship that you will not relent from expressing. No matter what noise is shouting from the loudspeakers we must withstand it; we must make eye contact and remain joyful. We cannot allow despair to be the status quo.
Our MAGA message is optimistic; and we must fight against any tendency to allow the leftist hatred and scheme against our American value system to impact delivery of that message… #Trump2020

Dimms never consider the the untended consequences.
They cut off the stands of sports including auto racing.
But they drove many to outdoor pursuits camping hiking RVing fishing and here comes hunting season.

People get together for a weekend and talk.
Then the word spreads.
Word gets out around the “social” media.
People get together in places the limbs dont think of going.

Like Pelosi blaming the salon owner for setting her up and that the owner owed her an apology. That right there was worse than what she got busted for. That little event kicked Trump approval up a notch. Erica was MVP Trump team for the month.
The Democrat lady three three steps in succession to hold the nuclear codes was bamboozled by a salon owner. Think about that.
Someone opened up a go fund me account for her…$300,000.00. She now can start anew somewhere else. I was so happy for her.
It will be of interest to see where she builds her next shop…
Personally I’ve switched my frame of mind from the pandemic to the coming coup after a Trump landslide on election night.
Indeed, and fwiw I feel confident as to how the MSM and Democrat leadership is going to act on Nov.3.
They will downplay the vote results on election day, and emphasize that it’s only the beginning of the vote counting, with the real news being the huge mail in vote tally to be counted in the coming weeks after. They’ll act like election day barely happened.
I saw a podcast on Axios with a person interviewing Zuckerberg about what he’s doing to make sure the election result is the one he wants. Its quite creepy. He’s cheering on his facebook clients to be prepared for the election results to not be respected by his Technocracy until he and they get the result they want.
Shenandoah Valley region of Virginia here. Still go out to local breweries and wineries here. Wear the mask to get entry then put it in back pocket until leaving. Same for local restaurants.
My significant other is in k-12. It has been a stressful nightmare for her. No consistency in structure and all of the teacher gossip is about COVID fake news B.S. from loud useful idiots. She can’t say much for fear of losing job.
My kids are in k-12, and I can only imagine how stressful it is for your significant other. My kids hate it and our Governor in Michigan won’t “show her work” so to speak. She says things like, “Science shows kids need masks.” when all of the science we can find speaks to the opposite.
Not only have masks NEVER been shown to prevent respiratory infections in RCTs in non healthcare settings https://conservativereview.com/news/maskerade-covid-1984-evidence-free-compulsory-masking/

Masks are not healthy. Theyinhibit oxygen intake, inhale carbon dioxide trap and rebreathe pathogens.
===>Also serious lung infections and loss of consciousness due to restricted airflow from wearing masks.

wtd,
Thanks for this image; my heart goes out to the young lady.
I just wished to add that there is also a concern of legionnaire’s disease.

I had a friend die of legionnairs disease, he was dead within 2 days of not feeling right.
Very, very sorry to hear. Will pray for your friend.
Testing is getting better, but it is a tough one to read for certain.
I too live in MI, however I live in South west Mi and can easily go to Indiana. They are still into the masks–crazy. I went to Costco (South Bend) and it was quite busy and everyone was wearing masks. I’m telling you as I looked around I said to my husband what have we done to our selves and our freedom loving culture? SMH
Not all of Indiana is this way. Rural Indiana is definitely not. I live near a small community and in the Walmart it is about 50% masks. Everywhere is town more like 10% usage. My county has had a total of 143 cases with 0 deaths. People here are way over it. A LOT of Trump signs and flags, way more than 2016.
silentmajority4life,
Thank you for this post. Might be passing through your way in the autumn, and this is helpful.
Sorry to hear about your significant other’s schooling situation; the other recent nightmare I have heard of in the Old Dominion is Fairfax County. Evidently, the kids cannot go back to school, but you can drop them off for daycare.
Please be well.

Western New York here. Mask mandate in place for all stores that haven’t gone under yet. You will be charged with trespassing if you refuse. Dining in at restaurants is reduced capacity, I haven’t eaten out in months. The only store I’ve been to that doesn’t require a mask is a local gun shop I get supplies from, an island of sanity in an insane world. Every source of social entertainment has been cancelled. Fortunately for me I enjoy gardening, hiking, fishing, etc…, but I dearly miss seeing and visiting family and friends from out of State. I’m a caretaker for my elderly mother and I can never forgive how these globalist bastards are scaring her and keeping her from socializing with our out of State family in the twilight of her life. A pox on them all.
The current madness occurring in Rochester NY, about 1 1/2 hours east of us hasn’t spread here yet, not to that degree anyway. However, Guv Cuomo is trying to spike the virus infection numbers in my county by employing these “rapid testing” machines. The media plays along and provides no context to the increase, ie insignificant viral load = non contagious and no hospitalizations.
I am sorry for the elderly as well. My mother has rapidly progressing dementia as a result of the fear tactics and the isolation consequences. Prior to covid shut-down, she was normally functioning and attending church socializing regularly. With no church and all the news on tv she first became convinced it wasn’t safe to go out in her yard.. rural Maine with no covid in this or surrounding counties. Then she stopped picking up and started piling newspapers and mail around. She started piling up clothes and talking about the poisoning and her mask. Of course the church was closed down, so no outside socializing with friends or routine. She started saying she didn’t know where she was, and I don’t know whose house this is… She developed a UTI, stopped showering or changing her clothes, and resisted eating. We got her treated for UTI, but she has not rebounded to baseline. Church started and she is going on Sunday x 2 weeks, but not to prayer meetings that she attended faithfully. What this nonsense has done to the elderly is a crime. I just thank God she is home after reading about spouses of a lifetime that can’t even see their wife or husband. It is my opinion that the democrats are eliminating the last of the greatest generation and their patriotic offspring.
Northeast Ohio suburb. I go without a mask wherever I know I can do it. Local Giant Eagle grocery store hasn’t given me any hassle at all – yet. But even though I see Trump signs all over my area, the people are wearing masks everywhere they are told to wear them!
Yesterday I went inside the Panera coffee shop where I have been able to go maskless with no problem even after DeWine’s statewide order, and the girl said she couldn’t take my order if I wasn’t wearing a mask. I told her I couldn’t wear one, but she said I would have to go to drive-through. I told her it was a take-out order but that didn’t work, and then another older employee came over and repeated that I had to wear a mask. So I left. I noticed people at tables without masks, just talking, not “actively” eating, but I wasn’t going to hassle the young girl. She was just doing her job.
I’m retired and this doesn’t affect my activities that much. My main recreational activity is walking outside on our bike trails or around my neighborhood. My only job is babysitting my granddaughter. I hate that those who still are working have to comply with all this garbage.
Shenandoah Valley region of Virginia here. Overall biggest bummer for us is the stopping of fun community events and festivals. This could be local H.S. sports or concerts. We miss the fun we had and sense of community you get from those. Next time they have them they will not be taken for granted.
For all my friends in NY, CA, NJ, PA, IL and Minn. Have you considered just picking up and moving on a whim, cutting you losses and avoiding the coming disaster? Are you there to fight the good fight until the end?
@silent4life.—I’m doing what you recommended, picking up and moving.
Just bought a house site unseen.
Don’t even know the color of the shutters.
I’m done living in Blue states (MD,/DE)
Hoping for a safe move to FL.
For all you people leaving Dem states please don’t vote for what Dem in your new state. That’s what seems to be happening in Florida and Texas. Idiots voting for what they left behind.
@bday—point taken, I’ve voted straight Republican (full ticket) in the last 11 presidential elections (44 years)

Yes, meeting the realtor this coming sat.
Have been trying to since pre COVID, but the lockdowns have made finding jobs harder. Hoping to move to SC- need to find a no-riot, quiet area with good christian schools. Suggestions are welcome!
@nepa — my daughter just moved to Aiken County SC just northeast of Augusta GA. She loves it! She took a pay cut to get out of Leesburg, VA. Shes an EMT…
Not as easy as you say. It is amazing that they can perpetrate crushing the economies of these states in order to win an election. They do not care about the citizens they pretend to protect. Here in south Jersey the hospitals are not over run by Covid-19 patients. I blame the press for not ringing out the death tolls on a daily basis as they did when the pandemic started. Now ,instead of a daily count, thy report the total count of lives lost since the pandemic started. These people are corrupt. That is about all that can be said.
I’m sure roots make it tough to leave. Well, hopefully you would at least have someone to bring if you start a new chapter elsewhere.
I have mixed feelings, really. In Commiefornia, nobody seems to have any fight in them to push back against the scam mask mandate. You’d think that it would be possible to organize a group of 20 people to enter a store in unison wearing no scam masks in order to push back against the scam, but sadly, nobody wants to get involved.
I love my home state and I remember when it was a great place to live, but that is a memory now. The communists have ruined it.
Z and anyone else in Cali, the U.S. and around the world, all are welcome to FIGHT BACK! You all will love Peggy…

I see Virginia heading the way of CA soon in the next 20 years if not sooner. DC / NOVA and immigration changed the state forever. Shame on all of them. The question I’ve been asking myself is where would I flee if I need to.
I’ve lived outside of VA before but this is home. I havent seen the ruin yet but hopefully you have someone you could start a new life with elsewhere and aren’t alone.
I wish we could leave but we take care of my wife’s elderly mother here in Upstate NY.
Southwestern IL (Madison County) here. Pritzker has designated this county and three contiguous counties as “Region 4”. This “region’s” positivity rate is higher than JB The Hutt will allow. Therefore bars must close at 10 p.m. You’re safe in a bar until then. Covid arrives at 10 p.m. All indoor dining is forbidden by our rulers in Springfield. Masks are required in stores and gyms. If you want to buy something or work out, you must comply. Schools are not allowed to open. Because Orange Man Bad.
Why doesn’t all the bars put BLEACH ON THEIR STOOPS like when Jesus warned the Israelite’s to put the blood of a young lamb on all the stoops….before the “black death” arrived??? Historical Perspective dontcha’ know!!!!
In Philadelphia the Biden signs are everywhere. Masks are required. Restaurants in the suburbs are open at 25 percent capacity. Inside the city indoor dining starts back up today at limited capacity. My gut tells me most people aren’t that worried about contracting the virus anymore but that libs are VERY pumped about voting Trump out of office. I’m not seeing any converts.
Connecticut here. Schools are starting to open some are totally remote
some are hybrid. lots of people doing outdoor things with no masks
pretty much most everything is open, some on limited schedules, But
being a cold weather state, not sure what will happen to restaurant
when the cold weather, by the end of October, it will be too cold to
eat outside, so that may be a problem. Bars are still closed and sadly
lots of outdoor fall festivals have cancelled..Manchester Road Race
cancelled. but our local farm/orchard is having.. pick your own apples
so I guess that will have to do for outdoor Fall activity. pretty much all stores
and other indoor places require masks.
Some places are getting creative.. Our church fair usually held ( and a big
money maker) in November is now going on line.. a bit slimmed down as
no food items can be sold but still, good for them coming up with way
to still have it.
Our Governor decided himself to extend his emergency COVID declaration
till FEBRUARY.
Drove out to Danbury (from NY) this weekend to Stu Leonards grocery for the first time since the plan-demic. We typically shop local to us but decided to venture out and see how CT was doing. As we were about to cross the threshold at the entrance, the hired ‘mask nazi’ approached and handed me a mask and lectured me about the uselessness of the full face shield I was already wearing. We turned around and drove back to NY.
I am arguing with a friend for five months. This is the latest EM to him. You should go to the article to see the graphs.
Is the Corona virus pandemic ending?
Well according to an article I just read, yes, it is.
What I found interesting about the article is that the author bases his conclusions on total deaths, not just coronavirus deaths. Here are some pull quotes from the article:
Covid19 has already passed through all 50 states as a single major contagious wave in each state. There were 33 early states where the epidemic was over by June, and 14 late states where the epidemic now is ending.
Every week in America about 51,000 people die from all causes. This number rises and falls during the winter due to flu-like illnesses and goes back to baseline in the summer. No one panics about it, and most people do not even realize that it happens. This year was worse than normal, but we have almost returned to baseline.
The author argues that total deaths is a hard number that cannot be manipulated. Coronavirus cases and deaths can be managed. Remember that the CDC counted deaths with coronavirus the same as deaths from just coronavirus. The scarf Queen mentioned this in April in one of the press briefings. She also expressed distrust of CDC data and exclaimed that they may be overstating deaths by 25 %.
Back to the article:
The 11-year weekly deaths from all causes graph (below,) shows that the 2020 flu season was about normal until it spiked for eight weeks in April and May due to Covid19). The April high of 78,000 was significantly higher than the previous multi-year high of 67,000 in 2018, but just as in previous years, the temporary spike rapidly declined toward baseline.
The 11-year baseline increased from about 45,000 in 2009 to about 51,000 in 2019, generally because of increasing population. After this year’s April spike to 78,000, the current weekly all causes deaths number is down to 55,000, about 4,000 higher than the projected baseline. We are at week 32 of the year, and flu season is about to kick in. What does this mean regarding the Covid19 epidemic?
The Covid19 attributed deaths can be divided into two groups: early epidemic states, and late epidemic states. There were 33 early epidemic states where the majority of deaths occurred before June 1, and where the epidemic peaked in April and May. There were 14 late states where most deaths occurred after June 1, and where the peaks were in July and August.
Among the 33 early states, seven states in the northeastern region of the country contributed 71% of the early state’s deaths: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Michigan.
The majority of the 14 late states were southern coastal states: South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, Texas, Tennessee, and Arkansas. California was the other coastal state where the main epidemic peak occurred after June 1. Nevada and Arizona are contiguous with California and peaked after June and were included in the coastal group
This second wave is not just happening in the USA. It is happening around the world in such places as Australia, New Zealand, India, Western Europe, Mexico, and other countries.
It’s also happening in Hawaii, our isolated state, that has been locked down tight since March.
The author
The author continues:
If the late states death rate drops to below 1,000 per week in September, the yearly deaths from all causes will be about back to the 11-year projected baseline. It will have been a bad year, but not as bad as the 1968 Hong Kong Flu or the 1957 Asian Flu. No one panicked then, and no one should be panicking now.
Nevertheless, the hysteria and panic over Covid19 has not abated. And you can expect it to get worse. We are at the beginning of flu season. Deaths from all causes will begin to increase, and you can expect all deaths to be conflated with Covid19. Former CDC director Tom Frieden was leading the way when he recently was quoted as saying,
The second wave is a misconception: It is the omnipresent risk of explosive spread … That is what we are facing.
This is ignorant fear mongering of the most vicious kind. As the data show, the virus is not omnipresent and ready to explode everywhere. The virus faces natural barriers, just like all infectious pathogens, and dies out as it crashes into each successive barrier. The virus has hit its final barrier, the oceans, and is dying out there.
For the whole cycle to start over again, the virus will have to find a new susceptible population of elderly, and then attempt to repeat its first exponential expansion. But this time, we know who the most vulnerable are, there will be immunity in the larger population, and we know how to stop the spread. Quarantine the sick. If we act rationally, there is no reason to expect a repeat of this past April.
Nature controls the virus, not the politicians. The ignorant will always be with us, just like the virus. But the virus is not that hard to figure out. Do not panic. Keep the big picture in mind. Quarantine the sick. Protect the elderly. Let the rest of us free breathing Americans live our lives.
The most vulnerable are the elderly in nursing homes with other health issues. It has been pointed out that this group of people account for about 45% of the total US coronavirus deaths. Also note that this demographic group comprises only 0.6 % of the total US population.
And I would like to remind and reiterate that there are four incompetent blue state governors who signed executive orders forcing Coronavirus infected patients back into their elder care homes. These facilities were not equipped to care for these sick people. As a result of this incompetence somewhere around 15,000 to 30,000 of such people died, just in those four states. That would be Cuomo of New York, Murphy of New Jersey, Wolf of Pennsylvania, and Whitmer of Michigan.
And that’s just direct deaths.
How many hospital attendants and other staff were infected? How about the nursing home staffs? The people that moved them. What about family and friends?
And how many others did these newly COVID infected contaminate? And so on?
Millions of people may have been infected? And tens of thousands may have died?
We will never know!

Small town Eastern North Carolina here. Comrade Cooper still has us in a semi-lock down. As far as the little town I live in and the other I visit from time to time, not much has changed from the ‘old’ norm. Our local sheriff’s department and police department said at the get go they would not be enforcing any mandates such as the mask junk (thank God for some common sense!).
If a store doesn’t allow me in without a mask, I don’t spend my money there.
Most of our little main street stores are open and doing well!
Our idiots on the county board decided that our schools should open yet remain as online classes for the first 9 weeks. They claim they will reevaluate at the 7th week mark to decide on whether to allow classes to return to campus. I have a gut feeling that our county/state will never return to ‘normal’ schooling, choosing instead to remain online for the most part (look at the $$ saved in not having to feed students or pay for transportation). They are allowing students with IEP’s (individualized education plans) and those needing tutoring to be on campus for what’s needed.
Thankfully, most people here around this area couldn’t give a flip what Cooper is trying to enforce and we are just going about our normal lives. ?
I’m in SE North Carolina half way between Pinehurst and Myrtle Beach, SC. Unfortunately our town was devastated 20 to 30 years ago, first by NAFTA with the loss of textile plants and then the demise of the tobacco program which effectively took the profit out of farming in our area. Welfare is now our major industry with all that that implies.
COVID has hit a local retirement home with a rash of infections among staff and residents. There have been few other cases locally. Being historically democrat the area is mostly compliant with Cooper’s rules, but there are signs that it’s beginning to wear thin.
My wife and I are retired. I am 70, she’s a bit behind me. She will wear a mask when required. I only wear a shield if I need access to a particular place that enforces masking. Those places are few and far between.
Having time on my hands, I began to research this virus back in the spring, trying to learn how best to deal with it since I have two co-morbidities, overweight and high blood pressure. About six weeks ago I found something called the Zelenko Protocol, which was used by a NY City doctor to treat his COVID patients. After researching I felt that this was something I could do proactively to protect myself.
You can google this yourself, but here’s what I take WITH MY DOCTOR’s APPROVAL. Quercetin 500 mg daily; Vitamin C 1600 mg daily; Zinc Gluconate 50 mg daily; Vitamin D 4,000 IU daily. This is the prophylactic dosage. My wife and I will continue taking this indefinitely, and I will continue to be maskless.
Don’t take my word for this. Google (or DuckDuckGo) is your friend!
I’m in a country suburb east of Charlotte. I finally met a young man who tested for the WooHan, took 14 days to get his test back, to find out he was positive. He was already past his quarantine, he went thru the symptoms for 3 days. fever was the worst of it, when it broke he was fine.
My wife’s restaurant business is in the twilight zone. She is the head acct.. They lost 5 stores out of 30,so far, but their debt is in the millions already, that is un-paid. They make enough to operate at 2/3’s capacity. The school schedule is so confusing, working parents are getting hammered. I’m still walking into box stores Lowes and such, full of old folks, to me and I’m 65. Our Nursery Home deaths match NJ and NY per capita at 63% of the deaths have come from there. Our Hospitals are still empty. I can’t get my 75 year old Father-in-law, who’s a vet, into the VA Dr.’s, won’t see him. The Hospitals are still empty.
The highest Hospital beds Covid related have been at (5%) the entire epidemic. that would be 1,000 beds for 22, 000 available. Bars are closed, they opened the gyms this past weekend. This Friday we go to ‘phase 2.5’, bars still closed and state wide mask mandate still in effect. Per capita , we have the least problem with COVID in the Southeast and the only state not open. Gov. Cooper is running this year, he is going to loose and the President will take this state because he put millions of black Americans back to work. We’re a big government state, but RINO’s have made it that way. They do better than Democrats at running government.
A reminder, Roy Cooper barely won NC, and it was specifically because his opponent Pat McCory,
Refused to open public bathrooms and high school locker rooms to transvestites.
We have sophisticated voter fraud entrenched in this state, Cooper would have lost otherwise.
This has been, the cruelest acts I have witnessed, by American politicians, in my lifetime. Anyone who supports these criminal acts of abuse, murder, fraud and deliberate mis-information, for the sake of power, are my enemy, not my friend. We are no longer talking about, differences in policy, but life and death. These abusers of human life, are running out of rope.
Hi dbob,
We’re about 10 miles outside Pinehurst NC. Gov. Pooper-Scooper-Cooper better get voted out! My husband just had an out patient surgical procedure done. I had to be on site for 4 hours IN THE CAR, in the parking lot. This is on a 90 degree NC summer day. I have delayed a mammogram because I cannot bear to wear a mask for the 3 hours in would involve at the hospital. My son-in-law is at risk of fungal and bacterial infections because his job as a kitchen manager requires him to wear a mask 8-10 hours a day in a hot, humid kitchen. My daughter is lucky that her job lets her work from home the 3 days a week that she has to do remove classes for our grand daughter. I feel so bad for the poor parents that can’t work from home or aren’t skilled enough to do all the computer stuff necessary to coordinate with the teacher. I am so sick of this Scamdemic and Cooper’s coordinated cooperation with it. ?
oops. Remote classes.
Please go dine at the Char Bar 7 and Hickory Tavern for dinner if you get a chance
That is us. 2 of my daughters live on the NC coast. It’s Trump country. but my middle daughter is an animal groomer and they shut down the business. My youngest is still at home, in school. My oldest lives near the white water center.
They’re like their scruffy old man, I don’t were a mask, except for the ABC liquor store, my only sacrifice.
We are ready explode economically.
We will be back stronger and much tougher.
In 2008, I was one of 30 cabinet companies to close, because of the AAA mortgage scam. There was nothing to come back to until 2016, the year, I turned 61. President Trump and Charlotte has kept me busy in carpentry, working at 90’s wages but busy. I lost everything I had including my lovely children.
When my, now, wife came home and told me they laid off 3,000 Employees, her included, from a job she has been working at for 25 years.
My skin is elk, leather thick, that almost took me down, but it didn’t.
So now it just eats at me, every day I wake up, tyranny wants to be fed.
God Bless Charter schools, thanks RINO’s, Roy Cooper has destroyed our lousy public school system, RIP.
Our colleges have been exposed for what they’re not, higher education.
I could go on for days.
Thank you for sharing, Gracie.
My Dad told me this, often. History will not fail you, over and over.
The votes are already cast, in the minds of the many, who like our Republic, just the way we are. This will be one big a__ whippin’
Prays to you and yours
Thank YOU for sharing. God Bless you and your loved ones. We will get through this and be stronger for it. It’s just in the mean time that I want to kick someones bootie. LOL
Topeka Kansas, Governor Kelly Is Seeking To Renew The “Emergency-Order” She’s Really Pushing This B.S. As Well As The Social-Justice Lunacy… https://www.cjonline.com/news/20200907/governor-to-seek-renewal-of-covid-19-emergency-order
I’m in the nanny state of Northern Virginia. Its basically 100% mask compliance here. The schools are closed; however, my 8th grader’s private Catholic school is open for 100% full-time in class learning!
I spent Labor Day weekend in Central VA (Keswick). Here, its about 70% mask compliance. The big difference is, here in Central VA, people seem much more pragmatic about mask usage. For example, literately no one is wearing them outside b/c that would be silly (duh)…lol.
West Texas – most of us wear our masks. In our county, Brewster, there have been a little over 200 cases of the Chinese virus with 2 deaths. Some people are overly zealous about staying home and preach that on social media. Some people are blase about it. Most of us just wear our mask in the stores and go about life.
Lexington, Kentucky. University of Kentucky President Eli C. sent an email yesterday alerting students/parents of the significant budget shortfalls that were expected next year including an 8% reduction across the board from state governmet budget. No indication if this would result in layoffs, higher tuition, dropping offered courses or any and most likely all of the above. This on top of charging students $30/hour MORE in tuition for online classes (they didn’t sign up for).
The most likely outcome will be all of the above with the state raising taxes to cover the shortfalls . . . and keeping them raised in perpetuity. Who knew shutting down businesses, and keeping them shut down, would result in certain consequences like tax revenue shortfalls. Still masks in retail and in/out of restaurants which are still at 50%. It’s a shame for business owners and citizens at this point but they voted Daddy Andy into office because they were upset that our former Republican governor had hurt teacher’s “feelings” by trying to fix their pension system from one that is a trillion dollars in the hole to one which might actually work. “Not the teachers!” Don’t touch their pension, they are altruistic angels teaching our kids . . . nonsense drivel . . . via ZOOM because it’s too dangerous to be in the classroom because of CV . . . but we’re all meeting for drinks/dinner after class. Nonesense!
I live in Steuben Co. in the southern tier of NY. The total deaths are at 42 and have not budged in a long time. Several restaurants have closed since the shutdown; they couldn’t last until they were allowed to re-open. Movie theaters are still closed. Most places go through elaborate means to keep things clean. Here is the link to our county’s stats: https://www.weny.com/story/41947030/interactive-map-displays-confirmed-covid-19-cases-in-steuben-county
Northern Illinois here – Sheeple everywhere – some sheeple even wear masks when outside walking their dogs biking, and driving their cars. Pritzker has got to be smiling when he goes out and sees all the sheeple obeying him.
Rural Nevada here. Heavily Republican area but the local politicians are collaborating with Democrat lockdown order. Need to primary them but it’s too late for this cycle. Useless masks mandated everywhere indoors.
Western North Carolina here between Asheville and Charlotte. Lots of people in Charlotte wearing masks – even in parking lots. Round here (Hickory) not so much. Went downtown for the first time last weekend and ate outside at a brew pub. People wearing masks inside per mandate, but not at tables. As Luke says, “Situation normal.”
Kinda.
I am in blue Broward County, Florida. We went to the beach yesterday. As we approached, a road sign said masks required. My wife said: I don’t believe it! Traffic at about 40% of a normal holiday. We parked, gathered our beach gear and walked with masks in our pocket to the beach. I would say one in 30 were wearing masks. The mood was relaxed. It was like we were in another reality from what is constantly reported else where. We also went to a buffet sushi restaurant earlier in the week. Very clean. Masks when not at the table and gloves provided to retrieve the food.
In the neighborhood, everyone is relaxed and not wearing masks. The ones that do wear a mask portray incredible fear when approaching but no Ken or Karen push back. My wife attends church services regularly. Florida CDC reports around 4% infection rate in this county. We are one of 3 counties with the highest rate. Death rates have plummeted. My neighbor is an EMT and he has been warned by law enforcement to prepare for the worst come Nov 3rd.
NW Georgia, 30 miles from ATL, a few of us go about our lives without masks. I will make an exception for health care providers, clinics, etc. As I steamed into Sam’s Club the other day, a voice behind me asked if I wanted a mask. Nope, I said, and went about my shopping/checking out without another word said to me about masks. Yesterday I marched into the Home Depot right past their stupid sign requiring masks. The guy stationed just inside the door with a box of filthy Chinese made masks offered me a mask. I politely said no, thank you, and went about my shopping/checking out the same way I did in Sam’s Club.
I am generally a law abiding (ok, maybe I push the speed limit a bit) citizen. I served honorably in the Marines. I have toed the line, but this mask thing is over the top. Masks are now more of a symbol of subjugation than a protection against some bug. I am disappointed in my fellow Americans that have adopted the face burka as symbol of how woke they are. Fools!
Ohio: The biggest thing is that the governor, DeWine supposedly a Republican, lied to us and the country when he said he would reverse the ban on HCQ but the regulation is still in effect: OAC 4729:5-5-21. I don’t recall the regulation going through the normal process of public comment. He acts like this regulation is controlled by the Pharmacy Board, but the Board is a state board and he appoints all of its members. It is a board in the executive branch of our state government and he is the head of that branch, but he acts like he can’t reverse it, but can only ask the Board to do so which is a lie.
Our college students at our state universities, Ohio State and Miami of Ohio, are reporting that they are essentially prisoners in their dorm rooms, even while Ohio’s mortality rate plummets, their age group has a 99.9% recovery rate and most people that are tested are asymptomatic.
In response our tyrannical governor who has abandoned the rule of law and the Constitution is setting up “isolation” camps for people who are asymptomatic but “cannot self isolate”.
And a man in Cambridge, Ohio is charged with a misdemeanor of the second degree which carries a possibility 90 days in jail and would be a charge on his criminal record for failure to enforce “social distancing” in his business. In Put-in-Bay, Ohio [a resort area] liquor licenses are being suspended for failure to impose social distancing. In one case a business is told that although it can seat 200 people for dinner on a Thursday night, it can only seat 50 on a Saturday night for a wedding reception.
Our General Assembly is apparently powerless. How is that in our country? As the virus weakens, the governor doubles down every time. He has imposed a 10:00 pm bar last call even while the Mayor of Cincinnati has implored him to reverse it because it is causing public safety problems.
One thing I have noticed in Ohio is while the 21 day average of daily ICU admissions for coronavirus is only 11, the 21 day average of daily deaths due to coronavirus is 20. So that tells me that on average 9 people are claimed to have died due to coronavirus but were not admitted to the ICU. Considering the perverse incentive to put someone on a ventilator in an ICU before they die supposedly of coronavirus, I find this strange. This substantial discrepancy between the ICU admissions and deaths has continued for at least a few months if not longer.
I am very suspicious of the reported numbers. I suspect that many of the 9 daily average deaths supposedly due to coronavirus are actually due to practically any other cause, but if they can get away with claiming it as a coronavirus death, they do so.
I don’t trust dewino the rino. He tries to act like a good guy but is getting county health boards and others to do his dirty work for him. He through the counties is starting attacks on in-person church services.
Oklahoma City, Ok.
Social Distancing encouraged, but no other restrictions for restaurants. Malls are open, but empty. Folks are still a little afraid, but wearing Trump hats and about 20 negative in our restaurant business. Masks mandatory.
Norman, Ok. –the mayor is a leftie and screeches in her speeches (online and in council chambers). Restaurants are not in good shape. Today, we expect to go back to 50% occupancy restrictions. The police have had money/police jobs taken away from them –that were specifically voted in by bond election. For that reason, the mayor has been recalled. The election is in January –and she is expected to be gone (Praise God!!). Until then, she screeches on! Two other council persons will be gone with her, plus one retired, plus one more quit –citing Covid concerns (after being arrested for climbing a flag pole at Trump’s rally in Tulsa).
Edmond, Ok. Reason prevails and “Stand Up For Your Country!” signs are everywhere. Trump hats, bumper stickers are found, but not as many as I would expect. Flags and SUFYC signs have become the stand-in for Trump signs. It’s a Trump town, though. However, masks are mandatory.
Middle Tennessee here. We met friends for breakfast last week; it was the best two hours I’ve spent in a long, long time! Nobody had masks on and it was wonderfully normal! Most businesses have “masks required” signs on their doors, but most people remain unmasked. There are still those who are frantic about new cases. However, when pressed about actual sickness from the new cases, they are unable to answer with anything other than gobbledygook about asymptomatic spread. Sadly, we have had our second death (out of a population of 22,400).
Im in w mich and I am pulling my ma
Mesa AZ. Pretty quiet. A bit angry schools are still arbitrating opening dates.
The Red for Ed Commies in Arizona seem to have a lot of control over the state. The majority race of school age children is Hispanic in Arizona.
Fleeing taxachussetts soon just bought a house in the red state of South Carolina
Spent the last 5 weeks in NC SC and Florida looks like about half masks half without but back here in mass the sheep are wearing masks in 90degree weather while riding a bike walking and even driving alone in a car it’s kind of troubling
Another extremely odd fact I observed in the liberal sheep stronghold of mass black lies matter signs are everywhere at least 1 on every street usually a lot more but thru out our house hunting excursions thru 5 southern states (most with higher black populations than mass) we did Not see ONE single blm sign although it seemed very strange I am not complaining ?
Looking forward to fitting in nicely in my new red state
Long over due
Good observation: 5 to 1 ratio of common sense to indoctrination. I just don’t see a lot of independent thinking in these deep blue states. There used to be a lot in some formerly red or purple states but the mass evacuation from the crazy blue dictatorial governors and mayors has turned some red states purple and some purple states blue. Don’t those idiots realize that the states they fled to for freedom are now losing it because they still cling to their BLM and AntiFA roots?
Testing
Fayette County, Tn. On the border of Shelby County, where Memphis is. Those people in Shelby are mask crazy, scared to death…especially at the VA hospital where you can’t park in the lot…it’s now used for a auto waiting line for blood draws (in an outdoor tent) in advance of annual exams by telephone. I’m going to assume the hospital is empty, since the parking lots were. However, in Fayette only Kroger and Walmart insist on masks….everyone else is chill…like the Southern Ax, where ax throwing is the Activity and the de Terra winery whose owner said plainly, masks are bs. Still have no personal knowledge of anyone I know having contracted the China virus.
Philly here:
Families are leaving, houses selling very quickly, seems to be an exodus. Restaurants still not open for inside dining, when they do will be at 25% capacity. Seeing/hearing about business closures. Synagogues and churches also have insane 25 person rule! Downtown was ghostly, better I am told, though there will be a glut of unused office space while people in burbs avoid the city. Without theatres and sports folks less likely to come in. Large homeless encampment by Art Museum, believe still there, and loud ATV vehicles roam residential neighborhoods all hours of night. Not a good scene at all. Oh, of course children and college students all home learning “remotely.” The disaster of that will unfold.
Who is purchasing the houses in Philly? I wonder also who is purchasing the houses in California as well.
Lake Charles, Louisiana here. I can assure you that Hurricane Laura blew any single thought of a COVID virus right away. NOONE is wearing a mask. EVERYONE is nose down, butt up trying to clean up and repair our homes. Love and assistance pouring into the area has been incredible. We live in a very good country.
in W Mich I am no longer wearing my mask over my nose inside retail places, nobody is social distancing on makeshift dining patios or the beaches, for months now, and nothing has changed with outbreaks as a result, making me feel in public like/that I am playing some stupid kiddie game.
I wonder when the lib crowd is going to start winking to each other when crossing paths with masks in public in some warped solidarity gesture. If you seriously cannot see by now that the most vulnerable are the only people needing to be this cautious, you’re a moron.
I’m noticing lots of teenagers around the beaches with backpacks and black attire…
predictably and unfortunately.
NW Florida coast here, between Destin and Pensacola. Summer tourists numbers were the same as far as I could see. The beaches weren’t necessarily packed and plenty of space to keep some distance between groups. Mask wearers were in the minority though some actually wore them out in the surf. Lots of boating and Trump boat parades- no masks. Restaurants have been open with mask required postings but not strictly enforced. I don’t wear a mask when I go out and haven’t been questioned. All in all things seem normal but I fear the real damage has been done and will manifest in ways we may not appreciate yet.
We’ve been raising 2 of our grandkids and have decided to keep them home and home educate them. Initially the decision was weighted more towards concern over Covid but that’s changed after learning more about what the State and liberal teachers have been teaching in the classrooms and online. We will educate them ourselves and decide on the curriculum starting with 4th and 6th grades and on through 12. We’re retired and have the time but it’s not something we would have dreamed we’d be doing at this point in our lives.
I went to Homie Depot on Saturday. I hope you enjoy they massively crazy decorations.
We are stocking up too…. I am hoping to gather up about 3 to 6 months worth of provisions.
Reason? I don’t know, just feel I need to prepare for something post election.
Halloween Decorations I mean….. 😛
Northern Minnesota where socialists are fierce.
Had a garage sale this past weekend and tourists from other states stopped by. My ad for the sale said we would not be wearing masks and we would not ask shoppers to wear masks either, but if anyone was nervous about the virus that they should definitely wear their mask.
A few people showed up with masks on, then took them off.
One couple from South Dakota stopped by. They are from the land of common sense and told us about a restaurant in Duluth they’d stopped at and were shocked by.
People eating at At Sara’s Table were pulling their masks down to shovel food in their mouths or take a drink, then pulling the masks back up as they chewed and swallowed. So no one ever totally took their mask off. When the couple saw that all the wait staff were wearing buttons that said there was no such thing as men or women, but a vague ‘sexual identity’, and then saw the BLT sandwich was called the LGBT sandwich, they decided to go eat elsewhere.
They invited us to move to South Dakota.
Minnesota is a hot mess.
We live In a Dem run state and it’s pretty awful. Rhode Island is only big enough to rival a city in other states so it affects as as a whole.
Out here on TN Cumberland Plateau – haven’t seen a change in life in response to fake flu. Initially liberal Dimwit retirees who relocated here from blue states were on the mask and social distance bandwagon but I along with many other people never put on a face diaper. Local Walmart tried to impose mask policy but only those Dimwits wear them. Lowes, Rural King, Tractor Supply, hasn’t changed much other than social distance tape on the floor that no one pays attention to. I don’t watch network MSM and turn off news from Nashville/Knoxville when they get into their 20 minute CoVid reporting. I’ve pretty much ignored the whole pandemic and it would seem my neighbors have done the same. It’s almost like there’s two Americas – life in rural America where people still think for themselves and life in fear driven urban/suburban areas under the spell of propagandized totalitarianism.
Suburban Milwaukee here. Plenty of sheep wearing masks driving, outside, etc. Went to the grocery store today where masks were required, sign tjat masks must be worn not there today, most wearing masks but a few aren’t and they are not getting questioned.
The masks are just to get us conditioned for mandatory vaccines. Although the government might not make them mandatory, private businesses will, cowering to the Left, or else you can’t shop. be employed, etc.
Northeast Florida here. I refuse to wear a mask and have lost work because of it. Employers don’t agree with the mandates but follow them anyway. I just reminded them as I walked off, ” No person can buy or sale without the mark….uh mask. I’m now not allowed to sell my labor, I can’t go into a store to buy, how far away are we ?” ” You are being groomed for what is coming, if you cannot resist this, well ???
The freedom to travel by automobile or motorcycle still exists folks. Do it!
Much like speakeasies arose when our grandparent’s or great grandparent’s betters thought we shouldn’t drink booze and beer, I have found in my recent road trips (20 states generally east of the plains states, and from top to bottom) places where people are saying screw you to the Karens and fear porn addicts.
For instance, there are VERY clever bar / restaurant owners in a certain place who had serious training in camouflage and deception. Invite only, but they’re packed and happy. Others are just flaunting the “new normal” with full knowledge of local LEOs who have far more important public safety issues to deal with than some whimpering, not-at-risk 24 YO Karen triggered by mass civil “disobedience”.
Assuming this is bigger than I saw, it’s possible that the over-reaching with Kung Flu edicts are uniting the country like nothing else could do at this moment.
“The bombardment seems overwhelming” Americans withstood the bombardment of Ft McHenry and others in our history. This so called bombardment is desperation on the left not on the side of the constitutional republic. Our Constitution was made for times like these not the easy times. What has happened is that the underbelly of the Liberal/progressive/demorat/left/confederate LPDLC has been exposed with much more exposure on the way and they know it. If Trump wins they are doomed for some really bad consequences and they know it. CT has been bringing us this information and we know that even then this is much broader deeper and more evil than anything imaginable. On an FYI I have family west of the cascades in Washington, deep blue territory and daily I get reports from them of people, life long democrats saying they have left the demorats. That is an earthquake worth talking about.
Manitoba Canada. Schools are set to open normally today. Kids have to wear masks. Teachers are upset and must mask. Children with specific health issues can get exemptions for full homeschooling. School bus drivers are supposed to go on strike in the city. Masks are mandatory everywhere and most people are complying. I wear mine. Not worth not doing it as it is the law and I don’t want to throw some poor star clerk into hysterics over something she has no control over.
Listening carefully between the lines, I get the impression the provincial authorities here have decided to let the bug go through the population. I keep hearing about how we have to learn to live with COVID and those who are at high risk need to isolate themselves because we can’t keep the lock down, especially the schools, going for ever. Stores are currently well stocked but with a lot less variety. Home canning supplies are in very short supply as gardening and home canning have suddenly become incredibly popular after a summer of everyone gardening.
At the Federal level we have an extremely corrupt Marxist wannabee in charge who has a minority government propped up by the far left socialist party and the separatists in Quebec. He’s talking about a fall budget that will include all kinds of goodies like massive tax hikes on undefined “the rich”, huge increases in carbon taxes and subsidies for a wonderful new green deal that “will bring prosperity and jobs”, much more gun control because Canadians don’t need guns, open borders, as well as extensions of all the emergency current supports that will basically give everyone a low-level minimum income. Even the Federal bureaucrats of our version of the swamp and members of his party are quietly sounding the alarm about this plan because it promises to fundamentally change the nature of Canadian society. CERB, the latest income guarantee of an extra $600/month no questions asked brought in temporarily for COVID, is set to run out soon. We have been told by assorted experts there will be a huge crime wave because all the homeless junkies will have their income cut off. I am praying Trump gets in because it might be time for me to take my American citizen wife and go south with her if Trudeau’s budget is as bad as the rumors say it is.
Heard from a friend in India by Skype yesterday. Her entire family got COVID confirmed by positive tests. Hers is a four generation household with an infant, and two elderly people with health conditions that place them at high risk. Everyone survived after the equivalent of a nasty flu. Her mother (who has hypertension and heart failure) had some breathing trouble but she was prescribed dethomexazone and recovered without hospitalization. They were all on hydrochloroquinone, zinc and vitamin D prophylactically as well. Everyone she knows has been sick but none have died.
Boise Idaho here. All stores have the masks required signs but many ignore them. Most stores will not confront customers who do not wear masks. The ones that do, like Walmart, I refuse to shop at any longer.
In Idaho, last I checked, we have had about 35,000 cases. If we can believe the numbers. We have had about 360 deaths, if we can believe those numbers. So this is a moderate flu season.
Central Florida, people follow rules, wear masks. People seem like robots going through ritualistic motions. Don’t go out much to restaurants, can’t be bothered following the rules and having food served as if it were radioactive. Went a couple of times but it is not relaxed or comfortable environment where you want to spend money for enjoyment. Several people on block clearly out of work, this area heavily dependent on tourism directly or indirectly. About 40% of students have opted for in school experience. My impression is that too many people are still overly concerned about the virus. More concerned than facts should dictate. Neighbor across the street put up BLM sign, I took a picture and sent to people to let them know our neighbors are idiots. Fortunately by the next morning it seems someone pull the sign out (no it wasn’t me). If the game plan for Covid is to make people dependent and miserable for the longest time possible, it appears on the surface to be working. It’s not normal to wear masks, have businesses 75% closed etc. That’s not freedom and having a little taste of less freedom is not a good feeling. Can’t imagine if we adopt the leftist dream for the future.
Savannah, GA here:
No mask mandate in Georgia, but our illustrious Mayor said thou shalt not go mask less in Savannah.
Went to a BP last Friday for gas. I saw at least six (6) people of Black, White, Male and Female that were entering and exiting the store WITHOUT masks!!!
O, the horror.
P.S.
Being mask less myself, I congratulated a couple of them, they smiled and thumbs up!!
Bucks County, PA…northeast of “Philth”adelphia, the armpit of Pennsylvania.
Masks mandatory in some grocery stores, however, a growing number of establishments not demanding a mask. Even some elderly have had with it as physicians have cautioned about oxygen depletion.
Increasing support for no masks as outlined in the New England Journal of Medicine May 21st, 2020 publication, where it stated the masks we are all being asked to wear are useless for THIS virus.
“Cases” are down, as are hospitalizations. BUT, you can’t believe anything coming from the PA Dept of Health or the CDC, for that matter. All fake numbers for the sole purpose of election interference.
Eastern WV, masks required if you cannot distance. Tractor Supply requires a mask so no more TS. Aldi requires one but if husband goes in, they do not harras him any more after I called corporate to complain about an employee’s attitude and a possible HIPPA violation. Our Walmart requires one but after an incident over an open carry and no mask family, they no longer say anything if you do not wear one. I also called corporate over an employee trying to give medical advice per a mask. I recommend that unless the employee was going to be designated under HIPPA as a provider the employee should not be dispensing medical advice.
I have a friend who still wears her mask in the car.
Gradually seeing more maskless people. This area has a lot of DC people and you can easily spot Democrats. Tons of Biden signs in town. Trump is everywhere else.
Dane County, Wisconsin, the heart for Progressivism. Masks required at in door public places. Schools are all virtual, even private schools. We meet friends at our favorite brewpub, outdoors, we avoid going inside. Went to our weekend getaway, 2 hour drive north – counted about 60 Trump signs to 15 Biden signs. Mask wearing is more relaxed in rural areas.
