The White House trotted Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm to the microphones today to tell the DC stenographers how brilliant, beneficial and strategically necessary it is to release 50 million barrels of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve in an effort to lower gasoline prices. The enthusiastic Energy Secretary read the script, gave her talking points and then took questions.
However, after spending 15 minutes talking about the strategic brilliance of the 50 million barrel release, one of the stenographers accidentally asked: “that said, how many barrels of oil do U.S. consumers use every day?”… Granholm paused, looked down and said: “I don’t have that number in front of me, I’m sorry“… WATCH:

One would expect a competent Secretary of Energy to have daily use stats on hand, for oil, gas, coal, and nuclear power at a minimum. Annual use stats, annual imports, and relative cost data too. That’s just basic data for her department.

IMO, this release from the SPR is mostly to degrade our military readiness.
During the Trump administration, we found out that, under Obama, military pilots were having a hard time getting in their required flight hours because the military did not have enough extra fuel for them to keep up their competencies.
Now the Obama administration 3.0 is taking away the cushion in the fuel feedstock. I don’t think this is about driving to grandma’s house. It is sinister and treasonous and fits the pattern of goals and methods.

BTW, can anybody explain to me why the GOP is not calling for Biden to be impeached? Trump was impeached over a phone call that didn’t hurt a single American citizen. Biden is causing the suffering of millions of American citizens. In what universe is that not a far worse offense?
Personally, I think the Afghanistan debacle should have been more than enough cause to impeach that hateful POS by itself. He basically murdered 13, US Marines, maimed many more, and oh BTW, he also murdered innocent Afghans and left thousands of American citizens to the mercy of the Taliban and ISIS. Of course, the MSM completely ignores those Americans who were left behind and the suffering of millions of innocent Afghans, as a result of Bidens’ idiocy.
