I looked at the 31 nations in and around Africa where Ivermectin is used regularly on a prophylactic basis for onchocerciasis — a nasty parasitic infection that used to blind people (along with infecting their skin) all the time, and is now basically endemic and reasonably well-controlled in those nations. The people in these nations take regular but infrequent doses of Ivermectin; typically a dose every six months or thereabouts.
But what hasn’t been talked about — at all — is that not one of those 31 nations is in the top 50 for cancer rates. I remind you that there are 195 universally-recognized “nations” in the world today.
Again: Not one of these 31 breaks into the top 50 nations for cancer.
NOT ONE.
Can you conclude anything from this natural experiment in terms of [cancer] prevention? The evidence does not support conclusions but it is damned suspicious, especially when coupled with the admittedly-light scientific evidence on adjuvant efficacy.
Again: Is that why none of those 31 nations are in the top 50 for cancer?
We don’t know — and the reason we don’t know is that we haven’t looked.
There’s no billions of dollars to be made selling a $2/year pill (literally $2/year) and if it cut the rate of cancer even by just a couple of percent the amount of money that would take straight out of the pocket of the medical system in this nation alone would be in the billions each and every year. I remind you that just in the US alone direct treatment expense for cancer is about $160 billion annually and on-patent drugs are the largest component of that expense. If it cut that by 10 percent that’s sixteen billion not extracted by the medical system every year forever into the future.
If it works [against COVID-19], even somewhat, when used immediately on first hint of infection then billions of dollars don’t get charged during the pandemic as people don’t go to the hospital, get treated there and ultimately die.
If it works, even somewhat, then at the same time Remdesvir is worth an effective zero, none of that money would have been made and that is not only bad for the drug company but the thousand dollar+ infusion charges disappear too, all of which go into the hospital’s pocket.
But much worse, if everyone was going to get this virus, and that was known in the first couple of months that eventually basically everyone would, then even if the drug does not work against Covid-19, but it has an anti-cancer impact of any magnitude when used as a prophylaxis on six month intervals, if at first hint of trouble people gobble just one $1 pill that data will show up over the next couple of years in materially lower cancer rates across the board in America which has NO other rational explanation — and that, IF IT HAPPENED, and the EXISTING medical literature says indeed it might, would cost the drug and hospital business hundreds of billions of dollars over the next 20+ years.
The thing is, WHY does Ivermevmctin appear to have a phrophyliactic, preventative effect against cancer?
If Fauxi had been funneling reasearch $’s at finding out, instead of torturing beagles and funding G.O.F., we might learn that its BECAUSE Ivermectine is an effective anti-parasitic, as well as anti-viral, and Cancers are “caused” by parasites, viruses and bacteria, as Dr. Rife maintained and proved back in the 1950’s.
Early in the pandemic I was perusing NIH’s website and found many studies on Ivermectin and cancer. This was before Ivermectin was mentioned in regards to C-19. They have known about it and studied it for some time. I don’t know if google will let you see those studies today.

Use caution though. I for one am allergic to Ivermectin and develop nerve pain when taking. HCQ which I can take has similar benefits and does not impact me. As with all drugs use caution and be aware of interactions and side effects.
Always use caution, but it’s safer than Tylenol.
My guess is that if certain breeds of dogs cannot use ivermectin, there would be humans who genetically cannot use it as well.
One of those things that should be studied.
The only contraindication in animals is one bloodline of Collie’s(Lassie type) ivermectin will cross the blood brain barrier at standard worming doses. The heartworm preventitive Heartgard is such a low dose it doesn’t affect them. On the large dog size there is a Collie on the package. Competitors took it out of context and made a big deal about it. It’s been well studied.
Our vet will not prescribe heart guard for collie breeds. Interceptor is what he prescribes.

Most reputable breeders of susceptible breeds, can either verify the absence of the MDR1 gene mutation by the breeding/testing history of the parents and grandparents etc…others will have the litters tested for the genetic mutation before sending pups off to forever homes.
Ivermectin is not the only medication that can cause problems. There are some other antibiotics too, but I forget which ones. Flagy can…l and if I am not mistaken a form of vancomycin and erythromycin can too…

That’s unfortunate because very few people are allergic to it. In parts of Africa people take a low dose every month. Medical teams go to each village each month and hand out ivermectin. People readily take it knowing it prevents blindness in their area. Merck provided and set up organizations to do this free of charge. They knew the people couldn’t buy it.
My reply is not directed to you personally:) This news is not a “bombshell.” These possible results were previously well documented. I’ve spent many hours researching alternative treatment options and found peer-reviewed articles published over 20 years ago. And it’s not just Ivermectin that proved efficacious in trials. Many other supplements did and are now in my personal “arsenal.”
What leads me beyond cold anger is that nearly every study concludes with “Based upon these trial results, further study is warranted. ” And then further trials are dropped. Why? Because the particular supplements worked, and there’s no $$ in it for Big Pharma. There are some remarkable natural supplements readily available, yet every other year some a$$ in DC tries to get them removed from OTC status. Why? Just one more way of controlling our lives. Literally. (No surprise that the two people who keep pushing for removal are Durbin and Gates. Right now it’s diet pills; next year it will be all supplements. Have to give them credit for sheer persistence…)
Dr. Ruddy should not have been surprised. If this humble layperson could find the research articles, well, so could she. But, yeah, now that the tide is turning and it’s okay to speak out loud in favor of Ivermectin, it appears she’s on that bandwagon.
We often ask how many people died during C19 who might still be alive if Ivermectin had been offered. I would add to that: how many cancer patients might still be alive, going back at least 20 years?
Cautionary note to people considering Ivermectin: consult with a naturopath. Have him/her prescribe it. Let your oncologist or other specialist know what you’re taking since the latter might interact with surgery meds. I do not recommend getting this from a pharmacy in India. Mine had black mold. $200 worth in the trash, which is how I ended up with a board-certified naturopath as my PCP. In case of a medical emergency, she knows everything I’m taking, and at what dosage.

Totally agree! Let the buyer beware – if you are getting something dirt cheap, from another country, you may not be getting what you are expecting! Get a prescription from a naturopath or an ARNP and look for a local compounding pharmacy!

Perhaps you didn’t! There are quite a few pharmacies in India selling Ivermectin. Other treepers here have attested to the quality. I just happened to get a super bad batch. I sent pictures to the pharmacy showing the black stuff beneath the sealed plastic. They immediately sent a replacement but … well, it’s a fool me once sort of issue:) Sincere good wishes that I was unlucky but you won’t be!
And frankly, Spirit does work in wondrous ways. Had it not been for that bad batch, I’d never have reached out to a naturopath.

Something just occurred to me, while reading J.B. Shurks article in todays AmericanThinker, where he is reviewing what THEY did to us, during the plandemic.
THEY get a flunking grade, at “handling” a Worldwide Pandemic.
What I mean is this; suppose the virus was, being novel (and so with humans having no innate immunity, etc) highly contagious and highly fatal.
Many instances, with Covid of one member of a household getting it, and others not. Suppose it was virtually guaranteed if one got it, all would?
And, suppose the lethality, for young, healthy getting it wasn’t 0.001%, but was instead 10,20 or 50%?
With the half assed measures implemented by our Giverment elected officials, and Public health officials from WHO, to National Govts, to local Govts, from the piss poor attempts at messaging which SHOULD have attempted to A) allay panic while B) earning confidence and so compliance so that C) measures could be implemented that would insure the greatest # of people survived (and instead did just the opposite) to the arbitrary and capriscious half measure attempts at isolating some but not others, which only highlight how, in our modern society with our dependence on supply chains and distribution systems, what preppers/survivalists have long said, is absolutely true;
IF our modern system ever “breaks down” 100’s of millions who are utterly dependant on it for the necesities of life,…will die.

Awhile back I reviewed the commonly available primers on political parties, which explain how they are formed, their structure, purpose, etc. which are common to all parties.
The single uniting factor is SUPPOSED to be the party platform, composed if different planks, each detailing a public policy position i.e.what the party wants to see the vovt do/not do, with regard to a certain issue.
And, everyone who associates with the party, is SUPPOSED to endorse the platfirm, in exchange for which the party endorses them.
PDJT’s policies, while in office were fully in keeping with long standing policy positions, expressed in Republican party platforms going back many, many years.

Princeton’s student exchange program first took off in 2014, when a prominent Iranian-American scholar and future Biden administration official, Ariane Tabatabai, connected the Iran center’s then-associate director to Mostafa Zahrani, a senior Iranian foreign ministry diplomat with strong ties to his country’s elite military force, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
“I wanted to introduce you to a friend who is in Princeton, and you will see him in Vienna in three weeks,” Tabatabai wrote, cc’ing Kevan Harris, the then associate director. “He is interested in sharing with you a plan to send Iranian students to Princeton and to send American students to Iran.”
Harris jumped at this opening, according to correspondence seen by Semafor, and arranged to see Zahrani in Austria two weeks later on the sidelines of the nuclear negotiations that were taking place between Iran, the US, and other global powers. The follow-up took time, but by early 2015, Princeton welcomed its first candidate for the Iran program: a Chinese-American graduate student named Wang Xiyue.
Wang was hesitant about going to Tehran, he told Semafor in recent interviews. He didn’t speak Farsi, and his Ph.D. work initially focused on the Soviet Union’s role in Central Asia, rather than issues related to Iran itself. He also raised with Princeton his concerns about security, given Iran’s history of abducting American citizens and the fact Tehran had no diplomatic ties with Washington.
On Dec. 1, 2015, Wang emailed administrators that he felt he needed to be as specific as possible about his scholarship with Iranian officials to protect himself once on the ground. “[A]s a US citizen of non-Iranian descen[t], I think it would be preferable for me to be as transparent as possible so that I would not be deported from the country for doing things my visa does not prescribe me to do,” he wrote.
But Harris and other Princeton officials reassured Wang about his safety and the importance of learning Farsi in Iran, both for his dissertation and future academic work. “It’s a good time to go [to Iran] — looks like they are in a good mood over there,” Harris wrote to Wang in the weeks before his January 2016 departure. “Take advantage of it.”

Yesterday we stopped at a gas station/store in the urban sprawl of a major city: in front of us at the cash register was a large woman buying $50.00 in lottery tickets and assorted packets of overpriced junk food.

Upon closer inspection, they were slavering over “vaping” materials, which apparently come in cone shapes and are expensive enough to be locked up!
We had no idea! Anyway, I was reminded of one of the first rules of thrift:

In the last decades of my teaching career, I discovered that we teachers were at odds more and more with parents who – sometimes openly ! – cheated for their children or pulled them out of courses which their children were failing, or simply did not want to take.

Russian economic growth hits 5.4%
The economy expanded in the first quarter despite Western sanctions, according to the national statistics service
According to the estimates, Russia saw robust growth in retail turnover (up 10.5%), manufacturing (up 8.8%) and construction (3.5%) in January-March.
The positive data comes despite multiple rounds of Western sanctions introduced since the start of Russia’s military operation in Ukraine in February 2022.
The measures have ranged from blacklisting most Russian banks and cutting them from the SWIFT interbank messaging system, to freezing some $300 billion in Russian foreign exchange reserves.
As a result, GDP suffered a downturn in 2022, contracting 1.2%. However, data for 2023 showed that the economy has recovered, posting growth of 3.6%. Many analysts have attributed this performance to Russia’s trade pivot to the East, and economic policies implemented to offset the effect of restrictions.🤷🏻♂️
In April, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) said it expects the Russian economy to grow faster than all advanced economies in 2024. GDP is forecast to expand by 3.2%, exceeding the expected growth rates for the US (2.7%), the UK (0.5%), Germany (0.2%) and France (0.7%).

Of course deleting the account meant, well, “deleted.”
Now here’s the really ugly part of it: It appears that Google in fact deleted it all, including across all their regions and they had no independent backups.
To be an independent backup it has to be, well, independent. That is, for some period of time (usually governed by statutory requirements by the way in the form of the “statute of limitations” for business records and such) the backup has to be segregated such that anything in normal operations (like deleting an account) or even a natural disaster, perhaps not including a nuclear war or similar large-area case of physical destruction does not result in unrecoverable loss. In a business you might take tapes or backup disks to a safe deposit box. In a larger installation you might have a second installation to which such backups are sent and then taken offline so that even if you give a command to “delete” them that backup is still there.
Google does not, it is apparent, do this and I must assume neither does Amazon’s AWS or any of the others.
This is something I would not have expected as an IT professional going all the way back to literal floppy discs and even cassette tapes. Here’s one of the largest companies in the world when it comes to IT infrastructure and yet the firm has no independent, offline backup strategy.
What the actual ****? Google could not restore the customer’s data from backups themselves within a few hours as they didn’t have any backups?

Frankly, I am amazed that ANY company would handle such a major financial operation in this way. I just don’t think cloud storage is the way to ensure security. It should be onsite data infrastructure and offsite secure storage for the nightly backups. Outsourcing this to the likes of Google is asking for trouble.

Update(1315ET): Several hours into a massive search and rescue operation and things are not looking good as Iranian officials have been issuing ‘thoughts and prayers’ statements amid reports that severe fog and bad weather have prevented a proper aerial search for the downed helicopter of President Raisi and those with him. Deep uncertainty looms as Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, was reported as holding an emergency meeting with the National Security Council in Tehran (follow-up reports from state sources have downplayed or contracted this, however). The Iranian population is on edge as speculation grows that the president is feared dead:
“Nobody knows what exactly has happened and how the president and other local officials, because the situation is quite complicated,” he told Al Jazeera.
“As time goes on, hopes are decreasing because the conditions are getting much worse and it’s getting darker,” Aslani, a senior research fellow at the Center for Middle East Strategic Studies, noted.
“What is being felt here in Tehran [Iran’s capital] is mostly that feeling of uncertainty.”
