Earlier today President Obama pulled the progressive tribes together and told them to support West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin’s manipulative deflection/amendment. Manchin is trying to defend himself against West Virginia backlash by clouding the intent of Democrats to forever takeover federal and state elections. Democrats want to codify permanent “mail-in ballots” into federal law to ensure they can duplicate the 2020 election outcome forever.
Using professional political parseltongue “Manchin said Tuesday afternoon that he would vote with the rest of the Democratic caucus to advance the bill. “I’ve found common ground with my Democratic colleagues on a new version of the bill that ensures our elections are fair, accessible and secure,” Manchin said in a statement.”
The Democrats now have enough votes to begin advancing SB1, the full takeover of U.S. elections with Democrats in control over every rule and process. However, the Republican wing of the UniParty cannot give Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer 10 votes to overcome the filibuster without the GOP base knowing their intent. So McConnell has vowed to filibuster the bill.
Progressive leftists will want Chuck Schumer to get rid of the filibuster and use a simple majority vote in the Senate to pass the “Take Away The Right to Vote” legislation. However, if the Democrats fail in cheating on a massive scale in 2022, they could lose the Senate and House, and SB1 could be reversed and leave Biden to stand alone vetoing the bill to undo the election takeover.
It’s a calculating game of political scheme and fraud, where the DC elites (both parties) are trying to determine their odds of pulling off the plan while simultaneously keeping the American electorate from seeing what they are doing. Pelosi has the military defenses around the Capitol prepared to keep back any revolting peasants; but that security only works if the politicians don’t leave DC.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid famously sequestered the Senate in December of 2009 to block any senator from returning to his/her state where they would face the fury of their electorate and likely recant support for Obamacare. Unfortunately, Senate Majority Chuck Schumer doesn’t have the benefit of the calendar to jail the senators from leaving DC, and simultaneously tensions at home in every state are unseasonably hot.

It would also require that most states establish independent redistricting commissions.
The bill as written also contains sweeping campaign finance and ethics updates, like a public financing system for congressional races, which have often taken a back seat to the elections portions of the law.

We must not let this happen! If the Senate eliminates the filibuster we are doomed. Mark my words, the travesty committed by the democrats in 2020, abetted by RINOs and Deep Staters in the Republican Party (Romney, Collins, Graham, etc.) will become a recurring event until the last conservative voice is finally silenced.

This would be a huge story if anyone broke it. These. Recalcitrant Republican Governors are most likely working hand in hand with McConnell and other never Trumpers. The truth is most likely McConnell intentionally threw the Senate to assure the departure of Trump. As far as the sixth of June, no doubt the decision to turn down national guard troops that Trump offered was a concerted effort between the leadership of both parties to set up the insurrection argument that is providing the impetus to the trashing of Americans constitutional rights. This was a bipartisan effort , similar to the war on the tea party was a bipartisan effort. Get the communications between senate Republicans leadership and these Republican Governors and you will find the answer. Every last one of the Republican establishment should be soundly beaten in their next primary. That is America’s only chance. That includes them all. To think that Rubio is going to get a free pass as the Republican nominee in Florida sickens me. Americans need to wake up and fast.
SB1 represents a direct conflict to the Elections Clause of the US Constitution, and would require a Constitutional Amendment (and 2/3 vote of BOTH Houses) to implement. SB1 cannot be enacted by simple Congressional majority.
Of course, even though the conflict to the clear and plain language of the Election Clause is abundantly clear, the Roberts Supreme Court has proven to be an unreliable protector of the US Constitution.
I’m afraid that isn’t true. Although the Elections Clause makes states primarily responsible for regulating congressional elections, it vests ultimate power in Congress. Congress may pass federal laws regulating congressional elections that automatically displace (“preempt”) any contrary state statutes, or enact its own regulations concerning those aspects of elections that states may not have addressed.

Joel is right about Obama. He understood that the only way to win was to damage our republic to the point of no return. Everything he did was about politics. The American people, especially blacks, continue to suffer from his presidency. Trump was a direct result of Obama. The American people spoke loudly in the last election but were played by big government “rules” that allowed for legal cheating as a direct result of exploiting COVID. This was abetted by the Media. American people know that big government and big business no longer represent their interests. We are cynical because we know the FBI allows them to line their pockets with Chinese money and looks the other way at money laundering schemes like selling shitty art for millions. It is just a matter of time before Obama figures out that codifying ballot harvesting is a just going to alienate voters. When that happens, he will go back to tactics of threats and intimidation. That will signal a tipping point that will sadly lead to much Darker times as his goons like Bob Cramer start agitating mobs again.
Not that it would matter, but there is zero percent chance of the Republicans winning the Senate in 2022.

Of the 20 GOP seats up for grabs I’d expect at least some incumbents to be challenged by Trump backed MAGA outsiders, which, if in marginal states, could swing things to the Left. Further analysis on specific races needed. Also it appears in four GOP incumbents aren’t running in 2022, MO, NC, OH, and PA. As one example, would Trump mount an attack on Marco Rubio in his home state? Little Marco. IDK. I doubt Trump would run against him but that would be epic press for sure.
The good news from the Trump era is at least more of us know what the Uniparty is and how that affects our real lives. It’s good information.
Trump should get a strong primary challenge against him in a heartbeat. Rubio was on the Senate intelligence committee that investigated Trump knowing there was no predicate for the Russia hoax within days. Yet that went on with their star chamber and the Mantra to a person that Mueller needed to be protected at all costs. Rubio is a two faced fraud, just like Graham. The establishment GOP had best hope a law and order neutral DOJ does not appear in the next several years. The entire GOP leadership would be at risk of very long prison sentences. Their is not one that could withstand the scrutiny Trump has. Just a fraction of an investigation that Trump has on him would land most other politicians in prison within months.
Trump already endorsed little Marco from Cuba.
It’s a tossup at worst if they can get a handle on election fraud.

Our once great nation will be dissolved within the next 10 years if democrats and RINOs continue their corrupt ways. This bill will enable illegals to vote multiple times, mail-in ballots will flood the nation once again and be returned in numbers far greater than the voting population of a district just as we have seen in this past election. Our elections will be as reported in Iraq, Iran, Russia, China and other communist/dictatorship with democrats winning all of the major political seats and a non-democrat candidate winning an occasional seat here and there.
