The History of Communist Infiltration into the US Intel began in 1942 with the creation and deployment of the Organization of Strategic Services (OSS) during WWII, to support various resistance movements in Europe and Asia vs the Axis. They were trained by UK MI-6 and Special Operations Executive (SOE), who were already heavily infiltrated by Soviet Russians (who founded and supported Asian Communism, even Mao in Red China).
Then there was the fact the Allies decided to help anybody fighting the Axis. OSS Units were inserted into major communist movements in Red China, Vietnam, Siam (Cambodia), Burma, Philippines, Yugoslavia, Greece and France. To survive and succeed those agents had to be fully immersed and go native…they were converted or arrived already converted to communism. After the war, those indoctrinated agents were kept within the CIA and rose through the ranks.

According to Mitrokhin, as related by Kengor, Kennedy blamed the increased tension between the US and USSR on the US (of course). I am saddened by the dearth of comments under this article, which hint at a lack of interest. Having read Diana West’s book “The Red Thread” a couple of years ago, I then became immediately aware that my long-term suspicions of many Democrats’ underlying ideological motivations had been confirmed in her research and discoveries. But I was also alerted that my long term assumptions that Republicans were mostly motivated by money (thus their globalist allegiances) – was not 100% true either.
I highly recommend Treepers spend time with this interview then go back to Sundance’s article (see link below) posted on June 13 of last year (2020) which contains another interview of Ms. West (actually later than the one in today’s article which was conducted on january 13, 2020) .

I believe Ms. West has proven her timeline with the evidence she has presented. She didn’t assert that her timeline starts when the communists began trying to subvert the government.
She demonstrates that they actually got into key positions and were successful in subverting policy at the time FDR took over during the worst years of the Great Depression.
