Two-Tiered Justice – DOJ Informs Andrew McCabe He Will Not Be Prosecuted for Lying to FBI Investigators (3 Times, Under Oath)…

The Department of Justice has informed former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe he will not face criminal prosecution for lying to FBI investigators.  The lawyers for Andrew McCabe shared the DOJ letter:

The DOJ inspector general had previously sent a criminal referral based on the OIG investigation of Mr. McCabe leaking to the media and then lying to FBI investigators four times, three times under oath in 2017, about his activity.  [OIG Report HERE]

During an immediate appearance on CNN the former FBI Deputy Director criticized the Department of Justice for putting his “family through this experience.”  McCabe said it was an “insult” and a “disgrace” for the DOJ to put him through this for two years.

Lawyers for Mr. McCabe released the following statement:

As a reminder, this was the previous summary from an investigation carried out by the Office of Inspector General:

Sorry, folks. If you’re hoping for justice in this world, you’re gonna be really disappointed. If you’re hoping for a “Big Ugly,” it ain’t coming. If you think the swamp is gonna be drained, you’re delusional.

Truth hurts. Justice will come when Jesus returns, not a minute sooner. Trump will make America better, for a while. I’m really glad for that. But it’s a temporary respite until the nutters continue the degradation unabated.

    Good grief!!!

I would say, Now you know how President Trump feels, except that this “disgrace” was due to your own criminal actions/lying, and President Trump’s turmoil was due to no fault of his own other than competing with Crooked for the POTUS.

Arrogance, arrogance, arrogance. Like most of us weren’t sick enough of these entitled lying seditious, traitorous, conniving, scheming, plotting, evil-doers.

I feel that if this stands, all of us who were hoping to salvage America need to realize that the America which should have been salvaged is already long gone.

  4. If they aren’t going to indict McCabe, then they aren’t going to indict anybody. I wouldn’t count on Flynn or Stone ever getting a fair deal from anyone at DOJ. They will be prosecuted full bore until they die. The Clinton Obama DOJ was fully seeded, they, like the media are the legal arm of the DNC. Barr is a con, a distraction, as is Durham. All this does is make me fight harder to maintain my 2nd amendment rights…

Here’s why I’m not giving up (yet). These are *process crimes,* what you go for when you can’t find anything else. Small potatoes.

The big story is the conspiracy, fraud, lying to the court, etc. That’s what we’re all incensed about. Some of these people may plea down to lying, as Wolfe did, and it infuriates us.

Barr may be keeping his powder dry on these lying charges with McCabe and Comey. He and Durham seem to be finishing up their investigation, they publicly stated they disagreed with the IG report on predication, that investigation is where the real action is.

However, it is the height of hypocrisy to charge law abiding citizens with lying as a fig leaf to justify the fraudulent investigation that put our country through hell, and allow the perpetrators over that fraud to skate on the same charges, especially FIB higher ups who are entrusted with enormous power, who know better and should face harsher consequences. Trump’s people and families have been put through hell, their charges should be dropped.

BREAKING: DOJ Will Not Charge Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe — Attorneys Say ‘Case is Closed’
by Jim Hoft February 14, 2020

The Department of Justice has dropped its criminal investigation against former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, his lawyers said in a statement Friday.

McCabe was a frequent target of President Donald Trump, who blamed the former official for what he has called a baseless investigation into whether the Trump campaign conspired with Russians to affect the outcome of the 2016 presidential election.

“We learned this morning through a phone call from the D.C. U.S. Attorney’s Office that was followed by a letter that the Justice Department’s criminal investigation of Andrew McCabe has been closed,” attorneys Michael Bromwich and David Schertler said in the statement.

“This means that no charges will be brought against him based on the facts underlying the Office of the Inspector General’s April 2018 report.”

“At long last, justice has been done in this matter. We said at the outset of the criminal investigation, almost two years ago, that if the facts and the law determined the result, no charges would be brought,” they said.

Barr fulfilled his role: He got President Trump out of the Mueller investigation unscathed.

We need to win a big Republican majority in the Senate (non Rinos please) to appoint someone outside of the swamp, e.g. Judge Jeanine, for AG. Then, and only then will we get justice.

Quite like the rest of the federal government the Justice Dept. is stacked full of leftwing ideologues who are only interested in punishing rightwing & centrist citizens. That’s a fact and the media is part of the coverup as they are currently attacking Republicans for fighting back against the bias.

Tomeka Hart, foreman of the Roger Stone trial jury, apparently lied during the jury selection process to hide her own political activism and democrat bias in the Stone case. Hart, former congressional candidate and member of the Memphis school board, has recently worked for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. She tweeted anti-Trump and pro-Hillary Clinton material —> while the Stone trial was in progress <— and she also previously re-tweeted a hateful comment about Stone from CNN’s crazed commentator Bakari Sellers regarding Stone’s arrest.

To the average person her actions would seem to be obvious grounds for a mistrial but the (leftist)prosecution is still pushing the (leftist) judge to put Stone behind bars for the rest of his life. For what? Call it "two-tiered" or call it two-sided; it is all politically based and Lady Liberty is apparently no longer blind. Justice is meted out depending on political whim instead of pure law.

I wrote a week or so ago that Trump should basically give Barr/Durham until June to produce results. If they don’t produce actionable results with indictments, Trump should start ordering the direct release of certain documents one at a time. Start with the ENTIRE Page/Strzok/McCabe/Clinesmith text message archive. Then a about 10 days later, release the Rosenstein scope memo to Mueller. Then 10 days later release the next one. Declassify EVERYTHING. Then, authorize the GOP to release the ICIG Atkinson testimony by declassifying it. (recall the Nunes memo was declassified by the White House, not be Congress).

        And so on.

If the DOJ won’t release it, send the United States Secret Service or the US Marines over to the DOJ to retrieve the documents, and then post them on the White House website.

Justice Department Drops Case Against Former Acting FBI Director McCabe
BY JACK PHILLIPS February 14, 2020 Updated: February 14, 2020

But the DOJ’s inspector general, Michael Horowitz, recommended criminal charges against McCabe in 2018 for allegedly misleading investigators when he was asked about providing information in 2016 to a Wall Street Journal reporter about an investigation into the Clinton Foundation.

For several years now, Trump has called for the prosecution of several former FBI officials, including McCabe and Comey. Trump has argued that the FBI under their watch initiated politically motivated investigations into his 2016 campaign, including seeking a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant to spy on former campaign aide Carter Page. Horowitz, in a separate report released last year, found there were “at least 17 significant errors or omissions in the Carter Page FISA applications and many errors in the Woods Procedures.”

Very interesting. Barr could claim that he can’t have DOJ or FBI employees talk about an ongoing investigation (Rosenstein certainly used that excuse).

However, Comey, McCabe, Yates and Rosenstein are not under DOJ control, and could be subpoenaed.

If they show up, they take the Fifth or talk (and anything they say could be used in a future prosecution). If they don’t show up, their lawyers will have to come up with some credible legal argument in case the committee tries to enforce the subpoenas.

This is the true issue that must be confronted. Talk of open borders and free health care for illegals, talk of foreign aid, talk of tax cuts, on and on. The federal government has swollen beyond the limits of human imagination.

Federal employee is now a synonym for Democrat voter. Of course, the McCabes of the world will fight ferociously to advance the interests of the Democrat Party. That is their true job, their true role.

This is the hill to die on. Shut down the government until we have huge staff cuts. Somehow, we’ll survive without the Vindmans of the world. The purge can happen now, or it can happen when we go completely bankrupt. If we wait until then, the world economy will collapse, and Granny’s pension will stop coming. That’s all.

Millions of jobs in the private sector are going begging, now, thanks to Trump. Let the dilettante leftists in government jobs hold their noses and go to work for private businesses. Wah wah.
Now is the time. Please, Donald Trump. Restructure our economy and our culture now.

This may well be our last chance.

Barr has the audacity to complain about Trump tweeting about the egregious injustices coming from the DOJ, and the very next day they toss this garbage at us??!! So wrong, so disgusting, and so damn frustrating.

Barr is getting flak from the crooked Press and is not as skilled at dealing with them as the president. Thus he feels he has to say something about the unconventional outspokenness of Trump. We Deplorables love DJT for his honesty whereas normies the deepState despise him for it.
Now, at the very least the DOJ should have proceeded with the prosecution of McCabe; forcing him to spend his was into bankruptcy just like they did with Lt Gen Michael Flynn.

Maybe Lou Dobbs will recommend it to PDJT.

POTUS needs to grab the Mueller Report, both IG reports, both FISC reports, counterintell report, and start tweeting ALL the redacted portions.
      Start tweeting today.
Tweet NOTHING else. Until EVERY report is out in the open.

Maybe make one other tweet, before he starts.

Nothing will be done. Durham is Huber 2.0.

Barr was installed to protect the status quo after Trump, who must have thought at that time he was going to be charged and removed from office by Weissmann-Mueller Special Counsel, threatened DS with a full and immediate declassification.

All this talk about Trump’s tweets and how they prevent the DOJ from operating with integrity from AG Bill Barr is a straw man argument. DOJ cannot operate with integrity – it possesses none, ZERO!

DOJ is a corrupt, highly politicized institution that is entirely virtue-free and, along with the Director of its Federal Bureau, refuses to admit that the lawyers and agents committed, and are guilty of, very serious crimes, crimes that warrant serious jail time.

If they are not charged, and they most certainly won’t be, Barr should stop talking about the integrity. He is in charge of a rogue organization that poses a threat to the Republic.

I know that these unaccountable, unelected career lawyers find that any criticism of DOJ or FBI is tantamount to insubordination and raises to the level of a rebellion, because they deluded themselves into believing that we need their consent to pick and choose the president, and they may remove any person on trumped up charges if they feel that he or she may not be willing to put up with their built-in corruption and abuses of power.

I therefore believe that the criticism and mockery of these crooks and frauds has become a necessity and should intensify until DOJ and FBI change their corrupt, lawless ways, which is not going to happen without an intervention from outside of the DOJ and its law enforcement agencies.

To hopefully clarify; these clowns are incapable of policing themselves and they have long figured out how to evade the congressional oversight by blackmailing our corrupt or compromised politicians.

    …unsaid,
maybe they (DOJ ) found that McCabe was set up (and he did not know that he lying)?

    p.s.
yesterday there were articles that dems were after (as in wanting to impeach) the U.S. attorney general, Barr.
Maybe the AG is setting up things up for March 31 – a review with Congress.

    p.s.t.
    and hopefully it’s not for
‘just us’ pay back for honesty about the unprecedented length of a sentence – for lying, by another person.

    Because,
    2 wrongs,
do not a make a right.

They make 2 wrongs. Simple math.
(unless one is a double standard Frank Davis – Bill Ayers- Jeremiah Wright – Saul Alinsky – Clinton – Obama – Sanders – mis-follower )
    What does that mean?

There are caveats to this dismissal.

First, it specifically refers to the OIG referral.

Secondly, the letter uses the phrase. “at this time“.

The judicial system is far from done with Mr. McCabe.

I wonder how James Comey is reacting? Rod Rosenstein?

Trump and Barr lambasted for sentencing change after DOJ is sandbagged by 2 Mueller attorneys and 2 abettor attorneys who quit when their recommendation is called into question… justice and rule of law are under assault, per Schumer and Pelosi, and will not foreclose more impeachments to come. The foreperson on the Stone jury is an anti-Trump activist who tweeted about the case during the trial. Jessie Liu resigns without being questioned about James Wolfe and SSCI. Barr says tweets make his job harder. McConnell supports Barr.

After all those trivialities, McCabe walks for lying about something unrelated to what? Trying to destroy a sitting President.

Weeks ago here Sundance wrote about “cold rage”. I read the well written piece and figured it best to keep my powder (and opinions) under control. But that control is starting to wear really thin. I read above the “Justice” Department dropped these charges because they may have bigger ones coming later. Bet they’ll find them and roll them out a week or two after the statute of limitations on McCabe expire.
I spent yesterday preparing our federal tax return, all the while thinking how what I and many others have paid these liars and traitors has come right out of my pocket. And we’ll continue to pay them until the Grim Reaper cuts off their federal pensions.
Hope I can set aside this anger before church on Sunday. Thinking the kinds of thoughts I have about these criminals are not the kinds f thoughts one should have in a house of worship!

Hillary. Comey. McCabe. No one is going down except patriotic Americans, and they are going down hard for nothing. This is very, very bad.

I sincerely hope Barr reverses this. Or Barr is revealed for something unexpected. Fix this.

I keep hearing around some conservative circles “just wait until Durham,” implying that it is somehow strategically important NOT to indict McCabe for the sake of the larger dragnet. But why? This makes no sense to me. Why does ignoring McCabe’s repeated, objective lies to investigators matter to a larger investigation? It would seem the opposite, that it matters to prosecute McCabe as a preparation for the larger prosecutions. But I see people cling to this strange notion, which really feels like a justification for Barr’s total failures and yet another “3D chess” delusion.
