Christopher Marquez is a decorated war hero (Bronze Star), he was recently attacked by a group of Black Lives Matter supporters and advocates. The story of his attack is outlined in this recent ABC News report:

The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in identifying and locating three persons of interest in reference to an Aggravated Assault and Robbery (Pickpocket) incident which occurred in the 900 block of E Street, NW, on Friday, February 12, 2016 at approximately 9:40 PM. Friends, this is so unprecedented and so unbelievable we had to insure accuracy with direct sourcing for context, via exact quotes, and comprehension, via video of events.

For the vicar of Christ, Pope Francis, to say another man “is not Christian” entirely because the pope disagrees with a specific point of political opinion – is unprecedented in historic Catholicism, Christianity and ancient-to-modern expressions of faith.

It is almost certain the Vatican will try to clean up this political mess with intense urgency [opinion follows content].  The Pope was asked the following question by a Reuters reporter, Phil Pullella:

Phil Pullella, Reuters: Today, you spoke very eloquently about the problems of immigration. On the other side of the border, there is a very tough electoral battle. One of the candidates for the White House, Republican Donald Trump, in an interview recently said that you are a political man and he even said that you are a pawn, an instrument of the Mexican government for migration politics.

Trump said that if he’s elected, he wants to build 2,500 kilometers of wall along the border. He wants to deport 11 million illegal immigrants, separating families, etcetera. Six months ago every talking head on TV and print media was decrying the Trump proposal to build a border wall as impossible hyperbole.   It is amazing just how far the conversation has turned.

Yesterday CNN ran a segment on how the border wall would possibly be constructed, what materials would be used, and how much it would potentially cost.

However, what CNN apparently missed was a December explanation where candidate Donald Trump actually explained exactly what products would be used to build the Southern Border Wall. (more…)

“Reports of Donald Trump’s imminent demise as a candidate are clearly and greatly exaggerated. Like a freight train barreling through signals with his horn on full blast, Trump heads down the track towards a possible nomination,” said Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll.

The insufferable agenda poll pushed by NBC/WSJ (constructed by a political PR firm) is rightly dispatched into the land of outlier irrelevance by a much larger sample (four times larger) Quinnipiac poll (full pdf below) released last night – showing a much different result.  The Quinnipiac poll is in alignment with all other recent national polling.

The top-line figures provide further evidence of a continuing trend.  As the field is reducing, Trump and Rubio are gaining support while Ted Cruz continues slipping backward.

These results are in line with other national and South Carolina polling and ground reports which reflect the top three race as #1 Trump, #2 Rubio, and #3 Cruz.  As a direct result the exasperation of Team Cruz will increase exponentially. (more…)

Radio and Media personality Glenn Beck has been campaigning heavily in support of Senator Ted Cruz for president.  Previously, Beck stated Ted Cruz’s birth was driven by divinity comparable to the birth of Christ; that’s creepy.  Beck increased the creepy quotient last week when he proclaimed Senator Cruz as the guiding hand, the resurrection, to take us through the rapture.

However, the latest Glenn Beck point of advocacy takes the creepy factor even higher than previous divine proclamations, if that’s possible:
