Several people have asked for opinion about the ‘insurrection’ information group provided by X-user account Data Republican.  I have spent some time reviewing the information but still hold back from too much opinion on the overall network because these groups are assemblies of people, not systems.

Each deep state participant has a footprint and the only way to make sense of their assembly is to track their former and current pathways – that takes a lot of time to assemble.

Erica Chenoweth, Rear Admiral Michael E. Smith (Ret.), Danielle M. Reiff, Dr. Paul Zeitz, Maria J. Stephan, Julia Roig, Walt Roberts, Brendan Halloran, Laura Adams and Zoe Marks appear to represent the core leftist group.  These interests appear to be the ones defended by The Washington Post.

Former CIA operatives who entered congress in 2018 and 2020, ex. U.S. Sen. Elissa Slotkin – part of the IC freshman class, also seem to represent the action group, executing the agenda of the planners.

Former ODNI Chief of Staff to Tulsi Gabbard, Alexa Henning, has a good name for the group overall, “The USAID Alumni Network.”  That representation is the best encapsulation, as the motives and intents of the group seem to center around former USAID funding, NGO’s and direct finance.

This USAID commonality appears to be the central component that triggered the leftist opposition toward a more forward stance on action against the Trump administration, and by consequence toward the 2026 midterm election.  Factually, if you want to determine the motives of people within any organized system, track their finance component.

Alexa Henning (Via Daily Wire) – […] The plotters are clearly rattled that their planning has been exposed. So they did what those determined to overturn the electoral choices of the American people always do: they ran to a friendly outlet and secured a puff piece designed to run top cover and blame Trump.

If you read the Washington Post piece, it does not describe a conspiracy to declare the federal government illegitimate or rewrite the constitutional order. It describes a group of well-meaning, patriotic, anonymous ex-national security officials simply trying to protect America from the supposedly authoritarian Trump destroying “our democracy.”

That framing is itself a classic color-revolution tactic: propaganda engineered to condition the public to accept illegitimate actions as necessary defense. The Washington Post is not covering the story. It is participating in the operation. (read more)

One other point of commonality within the group (still being researched), is what appears to be a unilateral alignment with the interests of Ukraine.  These are all pro-Ukraine advocates, and that seemingly makes sense against the backdrop of USAID and the role the CIA cover agency within the state department played in the overall Ukraine govt construct.

I’m still tracking the overall presentation to see if there is more than just a typically aligned leftist agenda.  What matters to me is how this ‘insurrection’ group planned to jump from theoretical discussion to actionable relationships on Capitol Hill. Meaning, who were the politicians they were meeting with.

Remember, when it seems like it’s glowing – slow down and take everything with a grain of salt.

The Intelligence Community has ways to control sunlight, playing to their own interests, by making it look like they are being exposed.  However, often in reality the sunlight just makes the shadows darker.
