In an effort to keep the Daily Open Thread a little more open topic we are going to start a new daily thread for “2016 Presidential Politics”. Please use this thread to post anything relating to the Presidential Race and/or any of the candidates therein.

This thread will refresh daily and appear above the Open Discussion Thread.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.

For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

Day #3 and the DNC is working overtime to control the optics of a divided Democrat National Convention in Philadelphia.  The latest efforts are some of the most ridiculous.

In an effort to keep the Bernie Sanders contingent in the dark, the convention handlers turn out the lights on a large portion of the attending delegation:

Anyone watching current events who claims these two events were not strategically timed to occur sequentially is being obtuse.

Baltimore Mayor Rawlings-Blake is the DNC Convention Chairperson by design. The timing of the press conference, by Baltimore Attorney General Marilyn Mosby, was also by design.   The Democrat party is notorious for framing the narrative and the optics which fuel the media cycles.

We predicted this sequence of events.

We predicted this exact sequence of events.

A sequence which will culminate in the use of another intentionally delayed racial criminal justice event; the trial of Officer Michael Slager in South Carolina (begins, October 31st 2016 – Halloween).
