Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †
Campaigning in North Carolina today, candidate Donald Trump began his campaign remarks by speaking about the horrific devastation in Louisiana:
[…] We are one nation. When one state hurts, we all hurt – and we must all work together to lift each other up. Working, building, restoring together.
Our prayers are with the families who have lost loved ones, and we send them our deepest condolences. Though words cannot express the sadness one feels at times like this, I hope everyone in Louisiana knows that our country is praying for them and standing with them to help them in these difficult hours. We are one country, one people, and we will have together one great future.
Louisiana residents are a strong and resilient people. They help each other, friends, neighbors, strangers, it matters not. All Americans.

Unfortunately, 13 people have been killed.
As anticipated, National Media (MSM) has essentially ignored this catastrophe because the local constituency and affected community doesn’t fit the pert box, the profile, the correct personage of victim for the media to support.

However, there are groups making a difference: (more…)
The Iranian government specifically said –and broadcast on their television network (Feb)– a $400 million cash payment to them from the U.S. was a successfully extorted ransom payment to secure the release of American hostages.
However, on August 4th, the White House immediately claimed the $400 million cash payment made as part of the “Iran Deal” was not a ransom payment to secure the release of the U.S. hostages. President Obama went on television to state: “no ransom was paid”:
Forget the classless, inappropriate and tacky aspect for a moment. This is a stunning lack of customer privacy for any professional business entity. Typical liberalism on display.
