Earlier today Democrat Senator Harry Reid (NV) announced his intentions not to seek re-election in 2016. Moments later Harry Reid announced his preferred selection for his replacement within Senate leadership, Chuck Schumer (NY).

WASHINGTON DC – Harry Reid endorsed Chuck Schumer to succeed him as Senate minority leader after he retires in 2016.

“I think Schumer should be able to succeed me,” the Nevada Democrat said about the New York Democrat in an interview Friday with the Washington Post.

Reid, 75, whose Senate career has spanned three decades, has led Senate Democrats since 1995. He announced Friday he would not seek re-election in 2016. (more…)

Several media sources have stated over the past two weeks that France is not happy with the rushed acquiescence inherent within a dangerous nuclear deal with Iran.

Last week, citing her own first-hand (eye-witness) information – CBS’s State Dept. Correspondent, Margaret Brennan, who is traveling with the negotiation team, stated the French contingent was highly concerned about how Secretary Kerry seemed to be rushing for a deal regardless of consequence.

It might seem odd at first to see France being the least favorable to a nuclear deal with Iran, but it’s really not surprising considering how France is positioned politically and militarily.

Current French President Francios Hollande, a self-described socialist, is at his weakest point since election with conservative electoral sentiment surging in France. French nationalists are benefactors from the reality of failed multi-culturalism – especially as it pertains to Islamists who refuse to assimilate and/or accept traditional cultures of France.

It was specifically because the Obama administration predicted French reluctance to engage in diminished nationalist sentiment the Clinton led U.S. State Department launched “The Rivkin Project” in 2010. (more…)

LAUSANNE, Switzerland (AP) — The United States is considering letting Tehran run hundreds of centrifuges at a once-secret, fortified underground bunker in exchange for limits on centrifuge work and research and development at other sites, officials have told The Associated Press.

The trade-off would allow Iran to run several hundred of the devices at its Fordo facility, although the Iranians would not be allowed to do work that could lead to an atomic bomb and the site would be subject to international inspections, according to Western officials familiar with details of negotiations now underway. In return, Iran would be required to scale back the number of centrifuges it runs at its Natanz facility and accept other restrictions on nuclear-related work. (more…)

This guy cracks me up. At the 0:50 second mark you see the White House parseltongue (aka. spin). Essentially stating the success of U.S. (Obama) Foreign Policy cannot be measured against the outcome of the government the policy is directed toward.

Just because the destination of the policy collapses and doesn’t deliver the desired outcome, does not mean the policy itself was unsuccessful. It merely means the recipient of the policy has failed, not the originator.

Doesn’t that explanation encapsulate the entire Obama outlook toward everything? Such an outlook reflects the perfect cognitive avoidance mechanism which demands consequences are never blamed on the originating action.

FUBAR NUTS – not only is the U.S. facilitating the Iranians to gain the capability for nuclear weapons – but our U.S. Air Force is now conducting air strikes to benefit the Shia Army of Iran and General Qasem Soleimani. Why it was only a few days ago when Petraeus was asked:

QUESTION – What are your thoughts when you see Qasem Soleimani, the IRGC’s Quds Force commander who funded and armed the militias who blew up U.S. troops [killing and wounding thousands of U.S. soldiers] and shelled the U.S. Embassy while you were in it, taking battlefield tours like you used to?

Don’t be fooled by media reports claiming the Iranian’s are to blame for the “nuclear deal” not being formally written down. This is absolutely a McDonough, Jarrett, Blinkin and Rhodes type of proposition. 

This approach absolutely reeks of Denis McDonough strategery.  This verbal-only construct benefits the White House FAR MORE more than the Iranians.

By agreeing to something that is not technically written down and bindingly agreed to, and by relying only on spoken acceptances of what constructs the agreement, the U.S. electorate and congress is forced to accept the word of President Obama and John Kerry for what the agreement actually entails. This is highly strategic maneuvering to avoid sunlight upon the agreement itself.

PARIS (NYT) — If an agreement to limit Iran’s nuclear capability is reached by deadline in the next seven days, one thing may be missing: an actual written accord, signed by the Iranians.

Over the past few weeks, Iran has increasingly resisted any kind of formal “framework” agreement at this stage in the negotiations, preferring a more general statement of “understanding” followed by a final accord in June, according to Western diplomats involved in the talks. (more…)

In order to fully appreciate the insufferable political logic of the Obama administration two videos should be fully watched.

Keep in mind the White House position, to explain their anguish, about Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is to say “words matter”, yet when confronted with the words of the Iranian Leader Ayatollah Khomeini it appears the emphasis is on an entirely divergent belief.
