President Trump Announces 25 Percent Tariff on all Mexican and Canadian Imports, Effective January 20th – Until Border is Secure

There is another caravan of illegal aliens approaching the U.S. southern border through Mexico.  President-elect Donald Trump wants the Mexican government to stop this nonsense immediately.

To put teeth into his demand, President Trump has announced a 25% tariff on all imported goods from Mexico and Canada until they secure their side of the border and stop illegal aliens from getting here.

[SOURCE]

President Trump has multiple economic arrows in his quiver that can be easily and immediately deployed via executive action, this is one of them.  The U.S. Treasury can also block any public money service payment transfers into Mexico/Canada from the United States.

This announcement should get some attention.

Jack Smith Files Motion to Dismiss Case Against President Donald Trump

Be of good cheer, the insufferable Lawfare attack was always going to end thusly. Special counsel Jack Smith has filed a motion to dismiss his criminal case against President-elect Donald Trump surrounding J6 and the proclaimed to subversion of the 2020 election.

In a 6-page filing [AVAILABLE HERE] Jack Smith says, “Justice Department policy prohibits him from continuing the case.” Smith is using the election as the justification to save face.

[Source]

The case was never about the merits of unlawful conduct targeting President Donald Trump.  The case was always about Main Justice, via Lisa Monaco and the crew of lawfare ideologues, trying to influence the election outcome of 2024.  The dismissal of the case was a foregone predetermined conclusion that was always going to surface after the election.

The reality behind this non-pretending perspective is exactly why the DOJ insiders were very nervous about Matt Gaetz.

Following President Trump’s Brilliant McMove, DC Targets McDonalds

President Trump really screwed up the DC October agenda with his brilliant McMove, and I’m loving it!

The overreaction from the corporate division of media with the (1) John Kelly fabrications and the (2) Epstein model accusations are what happens when the leftist rapid response team is desperate and running out of reasonably believable fake material.

Accordingly, when those specific DC leftists get angry, they react against any interest that is even tangentially aligned against them. The timing here is in no way coincidental. They have these operations prepped in the kitchen and trigger them when needed.

[…] “In a letter sent late Monday afternoon, Sens. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, Bob Casey of Pennsylvania and Ron Wyden of Oregon demanded that McDonald’s President and CEO Chris Kempczinski explain the chain’s pricing decisions.”

Profound Implications – Trump Transition Team Likely to Refuse Federal Assistance and Transition Funding if President Trump Wins Election

This is an inside baseball story that will be overlooked by most, but it carries profound implications.

The winner of the presidential election usually merges the president-elect’s transition team with the federal transition system.  Current government bureaucrats then begin a process of briefings, agency/institutional transfer coordination and funding to assist the incoming president’s team.  However, as we saw in the aftermath of the 2016 election, the government side of the transition worked behind the scenes to impede Trump’s ascendency into office, and factually supported the corrupt government IC officials who were targeting Trump.

For election 2024, President Trump’s transition team is now saying they are likely to go it alone and skip any federal transition assistance in advance of inauguration day.  That decision is making the deepest parts of the Deep State apparatus very nervous. That decision has major ramifications and could, likely would, include the incoming Trump administration setting up offices outside Washington DC.

WASHINGTON DC – Former President Donald Trump is weighing a go-it-alone approach to presidential transition planning, which could dramatically slow his takeover of the federal government if he wins in November.

The Trump transition team has yet to sign two agreements with the federal government to receive transition funding and planning assistance and to share information — a break with modern precedent. Instead, transition co-chairs Linda McMahon, who served as small business administrator in the Trump administration, and investor and GOP mega-donor Howard Lutnick are plowing ahead with their own processes for vetting potential political appointees and preparing policy plans.

Tucker Carlson and Mark Halprin Pretend 2024 is really 1998

In this interview Tucker Carlson talks with Mark Halprin, a well-connected journalist that Tucker Carlson cites as the epicenter of all political power and journalistic knowledge since the mid-1980’s. Accordingly, the magnanimous and enlightened Mark Halprin knows more about the institutions of electoral influence, political power structures, people and organizations of political influence than most journalists, so sayeth Carlson.  And so, their discussion follows along.

If you are nostalgic for the time before you saw the strings on the political marionettes, and/or you like to remind yourself how you viewed politics in the era long before elections were decided by ballots instead of voters, you will enjoy this satiating conversation of how things used to be.

Both Halprin and Carlson pretend things are just like they were, while they apply 1998 political insight to the 2024 election year, and -for some reason- people discuss it.

However, if you have stopped pretending and you understand that modern political outcomes are determined by ballot systems, local ballot printing, fraudulent voter rolls to give the illusion of attribution to the locally printed ballots, and tabulation centers that conduct the necessary scanning of unattributed ballots to a number needed to generate the outcome, then this food-filled discussion about political sides between Halprin and Carlson ends up leaving you somewhat hungry.

Here’s an example.  Within the interview Mark Halprin notes that Kamala Harris campaign has raised over a billion dollars, and that’s just the money from inside the campaign; there’s much more from “outside groups and interests.”  With jaw-agape Carlson curiously asks where that money came from?  Halprin replies, “I have no idea,” and they simply move along.

Jack Smith Files 165-Page Re-Re-Revised Indictment, Weaving a Lawfare Story For Media Consumption

The overall prosecution attempt by Jack Smith was fundamentally deconstructed when the Supreme Court ruled mostly in favor of President Trump carrying ‘presidential immunity’ for officials acts while in office.  The ruling meant Smith had to go back to Judge Tanya Chutkan’s court and work through a process of outlining what is and is not an ‘official act’ according to the DOJ.

The result of that approach was made public yesterday, when Judge Chutkan revealed a new 165-page indictment [SEE HERE], essentially a list of evidence the DOJ claims as proof of “unofficial acts” allowing them to jump the hurdle of “official acts.”  However, the reality of Jack Smith’s filing is a story without much legal value. Instead, it is a 165-page Lawfare story created for media promotion.

Many followers have accepted that Jack Smith is not necessarily the person constructing the legal filings. There is a solid argument to be made that Andrew Weissmann, Norm Eisen and Mary McCord are the Lawfare allies tasked with writing the material.  When you read the filing, the manipulation of legalese to shape a narrative story is clear.

As former DOJ Asst AG Jeffrey Clark has noted, the filing attempts to obfuscate the legal requirements of “state of mind” by projecting what President Trump must have thought, as expressed by the opinion of unknown advisors.  Jack Smith says President Trump thought this, without actually providing any evidence of what President Trump thought. Additionally, this Lawfare approach toward including redacted quotes amounts to written testimony, which would never pass muster in any court.

The accused has a right to confront witnesses; however, in written text that questioning becomes impossible.  In essence, Jack Smith violates the principle and stated purpose of the sixth amendment.  This is one of the ways you can tell the filing itself is not intended to outline evidence, but rather to outline a story.  The claimed “evidence” is simply a story the Lawfare team want to deliver in October of an election year.

Simple, Basic, Georgia Election Ballot Rule Sends Left-Wing Activists into Apoplexy

A very simple ballot counting rule was affirmed by the Georgia election board on Friday in a 3-2 vote.

The “hand count” ballot rule (183-1:12) is very basic and simple.  Essentially it says all the paper ballots must be hand counted and matched to the number of people recorded electronically to the vote.  Example, if 1,000 votes are electronically counted, there should be 1,000 physical ballots to match.  This is not complicated and will not take much time.

The ballots are not being checked for voting accuracy, or vote recording/candidate specifics.  Only the number of ballots, the number of physical ballots, that should match the number of recorded voters.  Easy peasy, very simple. Not complex.

However, despite the simplicity of the new rule, the DNC and left-wing activists are furious about the simple process. “This is nothing more than an 11th-hour effort by Donald Trump and his ‘pit bulls’ to slow down the counting of ballots so they can attack and undermine any result they don’t like,” Jamie Harrison, chairman of the Democratic National Committee, said on Friday afternoon. [LINK]

What Georgia election rule 183-1-12 does through the hand count is stop the issue of scanning a ballot more than once to count a single ballot (or batch of ballots) as multiple votes of the batch.  One ballot, one vote, one voter, match the counts and easy peasy.

If you count 100 one-dollar bills, you should have $100.  However, if you count 100 one-dollar bills and your sales report shows $500 sold there’s a problem.  Ballots are the same.

Seeing the leftists go bananas over this single and simple rule enforcement, makes me wonder how much the Clyburn team need to scan batches of ballots multiple times.  If they lose Pennsylvania (Philly and Pittsburgh) as a fraud vector for success, Georgia becomes much more important.  Clyburn has spent a lot of time and resource energy in Georgia.  Suspicious Cat remains, well, increasingly suspicious.

Peter Thiel Gives His Perspective on Election 2024 and Various Geopolitical Aspects

Ordinarily the opinions of one tech billionaire would, perhaps, not matter much to the life of an ordinary American.  However, in this era of 2024 election and the Technocracy influence, maybe this interview discussion carries a different set of values.

Tech entrepreneur Peter Thiel, the founder of Palantir, an AI enhanced data processing system that streamlines the organization of technological surveillance methods, gives his views on a variety of current political aspects.

I find the interview as little interesting from a few perspectives.  First, while generally supporting President Trump, Peter Thiel says he is choosing to stay out of the political influence game in the 2024 general election.  Considering the scale of Thiels prior advocacy and specific action he undertook to put JD Vance into office and then into the VP nominee position for Trump – this decision to now ‘step back’ from 2024 seems a big disingenuous.

Second, and directly related to the first point, Thiel -through Palantir contracts- is now directly enmeshed in the Intelligence Community effort to capture and organize surveillance metadata of Americans.  Perhaps, just perhaps, this new financial dependency plays a role in influencing his ‘step back’ decision.   WATCH:

Other points worth noting relate to how Thiel outlines his perspectives on geopolitical events.  When you look at Thiel’s communication abilities and perspectives it really shows you how shallow, small and generally naïve these top-tier influence agents can be.

You can see how there is a big difference between “theory” and practical reality or “practice.”  Thiel waxes philosophically about how the human nature of leadership intersects with outcomes.  Meanwhile, President Trump represents the practical application of geopolitical policy.  Thiel’s thoughts are narrow and small.  Trump’s thoughts are consequential, deep and can bring actionable results.

The contrast between Thiel and his co-panels’ theories, when overlaid against President Trump and his factual application of geopolitical leverage, pressure points, focused policy… and applied truthful/direct and brutally honest relationship presentation to world leaders -what Thiel calls “human agency”, really provides substance to the unique scale of Trump.

The “Thiel’s” of the world are talkers; Donald J Trump is a doer.  Boy howdy does this discussion of smaller men showcase that dynamic.

Luntz is Drunk Again

You can make the argument that Frank Luntz is drunk and simultaneously accurate, that part might be true. However, failing to notice the transparency of his repeated drunkenness, while putting any weight of credibility on his opinion, is silly.

Excessive use of alcohol and Alcoholism is a common trait of those who live in Washington DC. You can attribute this commonality to whatever you want but the reality remains. There are a disproportionate number of people afflicted with the need to consume alcohol in/around our nation’s politics. Personally, I think that’s because when evil physically manifests, it exhibits common traits and behavioral patterns.

Like many people in/around punditry and the business world of politics Frank Luntz appears in public visibly drunk. WATCH:

Now, some people will ask, “why do you point this out – rather than refute what he says?” To those voices I simply say, “what he does speaks so loudly, I cannot hear a word he’s saying.”

Put another way, Luntz’s influence and affluence is tied directly to the business end of politics in DC. If he doesn’t keep himself in the current status, he will lose his income stream. Luntz will do and say whatever gets him his next paycheck, his next drink etc same/same.

Learn the motives behind these shallow people, and you quickly learn how small & unimportant they are. Here is another example of the same issue.

Eyes Wide Open

CTH has long said the biggest battle would be the ugliest.  Indeed, having spent decades following GOP politics we know exactly what the professional republicans are capable of doing.

The Democrats are wicked, conniving and horrible; the Republicans are devious, cunning and deceitful.  Both wings of the UniParty are evil, but Democrats attack you straight on, while Republicans whisper in your ear to make you kill yourself.

It’s that last part about how Republicans operate with hatred, that should make every person pause each time they hear a new element announced.  Pause and ask, “how can the GOP use this information to hurt me,” because I guarantee that is what they will do every time.

There is no scenario where the professional republican apparatus will accept Donald Trump and us MAGA supporters.  Failing to remember this is akin to trusting a republican never-trumper.

As you remind yourself that Judge Merchan has announced his waiting until after the November election before the sentencing of “guilty” Donald Trump, the very tribal group that consists of Ron DeSantis and RFK Jr supporters, donors, etc., are positioning for the consequence.
