‘We have won – it is an earthquake’: Nigel Farage hails UKIP triumph as Labour and the Tories are humiliated and the Lib Dems face humiliating wipeout in Euro-elections

For the backstory, and to understand the ideological make-up of the parties being discussed, CLICK HERE.   *Note* MEP’s are Members elected to the European Parliament from each EU nation.

Results are still being tallied, but it looks like a ONCE IN A LIFETIME Thunder shock of devastation to the liberally minded British, and AN UNPRECENTED SET OF VICTORIES for the Conservative British Ukip party.

update-1UPDATE – At 1am, with more than 350 counts declared, UKIP was on 29 per cent, ahead of Labour and the Tories neck-and-neck on 24%.

With nine of the 11 regions declared, UKIP had polled 29 per cent of the vote, with Labour and the Tories neck-and-neck on 24 per cent

[…]  Nigel Farage tonight hailed Ukip’s victory in the European elections as the most ‘extraordinary result in British politics for 100 years’.

Support for Ukip has surged by more than 12 per cent, outstripping a more modest boost in votes for Labour, while the Lib Dems faced near-wipeout, with some calling for Nick Clegg to resign.

Mr Farage said he was ‘proud’ of the campaign which has seen him humiliate the Westminster parties, pushing Labour and the Tories into second and third. (read more)

Mitch McConnell Rallies With Rand Paul and Brings Up “Trey Grayson” As a Reason Conservatives Should Support Him….

Folks *THIS* is exactly why patriotic Kentuckians need to hunker down, bite their lip and vote for Democrat Allison Grimes in the general election this fall.   Is Allison Grimes a liberal moonbat?  Oh heck yes… she ain’t moderate – she’s a loon.    But after you read this article, citing the justification from McConnell for McConnell, you’ll probably recognize it’s better to vote in an honest liberal moonbat than keep around a lying Benedict Arnold who lies, manipulates and schemes, as a matter of his inherent constitution and cannot be trusted.

KENTUCKY – Mitch McConnell hasn’t spoken to Matt Bevin since primary night — but he’s convinced that Bevin voters will come home to Team Mitch in November.

Senate Minority Leader McConnell (R-Ky.) appeared alongside conservative icon Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) at a Friday presser in Louisville to tout party unity, hoping to heal the Kentucky GOP’s wounds incurred during a vicious primary contest between Bevin and McConnell, in which the insurgent Bevin received the backing of 35 percent of Republican voters. U.K. Independence Party (Ukip) Stuns British Political Establishment With Massive Cross-Party Success….

200px-UKIP_logoUkip is -for all intents and purposes- the closest ideological comparison to the U.S. Tea Party.   In England, prior to Ukip there were 3 primary parties:

  • ¹ Labor – Similar to U.S. Democrats
  • ² Tory – Similar to U.S. Republicans
  • ³ Lib-Dem – Similar to far left liberal Moonbats

You can see there are essentially two types of British Democrats: Labor and Lib-Dem; with Lib-Dem being the Alan Grayson socialist version.   The two often work together because they have similar vested interests; much like Moonbats, Dems, and blue-dogs here in the U.S.

However, there was only one party for a conservative minded person, the Tory party.    Yet the problem was/is Tory is much like our Republicans;  mostly establishment, and mostly RINO’s.

As a result of the Tory RINO-ism the “conservative element” within the Tory broke off and began the Ukip party – a 4th Party.   Ukip is now headed by Nigel Farage (you’ve probably seen his awesome U-Tube speeches which are often highlighted on conservative blogs).

The Ukip political party is similar in ideological make-up to the U.S. Tea Party, only they are an actual officially registered political party in England since around 1993.

Ukip believes in a libertarian perspective on individual freedom; generally seeks a smaller government; and strongly supports nationalism (exceptionalism), low taxes, the abolishment of ‘Death-Tax’, and strong immigration controls.

fox-and-beagleNigel Farage

In the last several years, in addition to defections from the traditional Tory conservatives, the Ukip party has been attracting massive legions of “independent minded” people who are sick of the consequences they must suffer from due to liberal policies.   Notably mass immigration, and the creation of a social welfare state which is demanding more and more taxation and stifling growth (sound familiar?).

The generally liberal media in England have been portraying Ukip as fracturing the Tory’s, or conservatives.  [Again, sound familiar]  However in reality Ukip is gaining support from both sides; taking votes from Tory and Labor, and even unbelievably Lib-Dems.    (more…)

Kentucky candidate Matt Bevin and family

Our Father who art in heaven; please put roadblocks in the path of McConnell supporters.  Turtles slowly crossing the road will do just nicely – with a smidgen of irony not withstanding.   Through You all things are possible.

Please allow a sense of righteous motivation, protection and positive energy to flow mysteriously through the hearts of the patriots who boldly walk affirmed to save our republic and vote for Matt Bevin.   Deliver the righteous to the polls with quick dispatch, as we remember it is quite possible for David to slay Goliath.

It was the Tennessean and Kentuckian long rifle militia who eventually turned the tide of the revolutionary war in favor of the republic.   We pray for that same committed spirit today.   In your name  – AMEN

Colorado High School Senior Told He’s “Not Welcome” At School After Raising Gadsden Flag As Senior Prank…

…And, despite the splodey head response from the school, he raised it according to all flag decorum.   WOLVERINES !!

gadsden flagCOLORADO – Greg Stoneburner, a senior who just graduated from Central High School in Grand Junction, Colo., said he was told in no uncertain terms that he was no longer welcome at the school after raising a Gadsden flag on the school’s flagpole. Moreover, he told Examiner.com in an exclusive interview Friday, the principal withheld his flag and his diploma until after his graduation walk.

The incident, he said on Facebook, took place on May 9. That’s when he replaced the school’s flag with the yellow “Don’t Tread On Me” banner often associated with the Tea Party as a senior prank. He also posted a paper to the pole that told the history of the flag.

Gadsden_flagThe prank didn’t sit too well with Jodie Diers, the principal of Central High School, who was livid over the prank. Other students, Stoneburner told Examiner, claimed she was angrily yelling to have the flag pulled down when she first saw it. According to Stoneburner, she pulled him out of a scholarship breakfast and told him and his parents the flag was a “slap in the face” to the school. She then said he was “not welcome” at Central High. (more…)

Do You Need To Hear More? Jeb Bush: “I Would Govern Like Lyndon Johnson As President”…

Murdoch Donates To Support McConnell

The Kentucky primary race is a week away.   Matt Bevin vs. Mitch McConnell

Mitch McConnell(Via Politico)  James Murdoch and News Corp’s PAC have both made donations to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s reelection campaign, according to his most recent campaign filing report.

Murdoch, son of News Corp CEO Rupert Murdoch, donated $2,600 to McConnell’s primary and $2,400 to his general election fund. According to the report, he’s donated $5,000 to both funds in this election cycle to date.

The younger Murdoch, who is currently deputy COO of 21st Century Fox, was long seen as the heir apparent of News Corp until he fell out of favor after the 2011 News of the World phone-hacking scandal in Britain. Lachlan Murdoch, James’ older brother, was named to top spots on the boards of News Corp and 21st Century Fox in March, suggesting that he is in line to take over the media giant.

News Corp PAC also gave $5,000 to McConnell’s general election fund, according to the filing. (more…)

WOLVERINES ! Conservative Tea Party Candidate CRUSHES Competition In Nebraska…. Mitch McConnell and Decepticon Establishment Embarassingly Devastated

Despite what you see in the apologetic leftist media, including Politico), Sasse was constantly under attack from the establishment arm (McConnell and Rove) of the Republican Party.   This is a big win for conservative principles and a big loss for Mitch McConnell.
